We are talking about Hana Mohsin Khan, a media and events professional who has now turned into a commercial pilot. She was born in Saudi Arabia and interestingly, women were banned from driving there at that time. However in 2018, this ban was removed and now women can sit behind the wheels so they don’t need to rely on men for travelling from one place to another.

Recently, Hana Mohsin Khan landed her aircraft in her country of birth and she posted a tweet in which she wrote, “Landed the aircraft for the first time in a country I grew up in! Last time I was here, women weren’t allowed to drive! The feeling is surreal!”

As she expressed her emotions, Twitterati came out in her support and praised her for inspiring other women.

This Bollywood Superstar Was Rejected Even A Side Role In Aamir’s “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar”

The Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan who has given many superhit movies in his career is known as Mr. Perfectionist because he works pretty hard while preparing for his roles in movies. The 1992 released movie was directed by Mansoor Khan and it was an adaptation of 1979 released Hollywood flick “Breaking Away”.

While Aamir Khan played the lead character in “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar”, the role of villain (Shekhar Malhotra) was played by Deepak Tijori. It may sound difficult to believe but Akshay Kumar who is known as the Khiladi of Bollywood also auditioned for the role. In an old video of the actor, he is heard saying that he gave audition for the role of Deepak Tijori but he got rejected as he was crap.

When Mansoor Khan came across this video, he also gave his reaction and said that he is hurt with the manner in which Akshay talked about his rejection. The director said that Akshay should have chosen his words properly as he never called the actor crap. Mansoor Khan added that at that time, Akshay had a great physique but he came across as very, very wooden.

Mansoor Khan went on to disclose that Deepak Tijori was also rejected at first and the role initially went to Milind Soman. He said while rejecting Deepak Tijori, he (Mansoor) told him that Deepak was a good actor but the director was going with Milind Soman because of his great physique. Mansoor Khan felt that he didn’t say anything to Akshay Kumar while rejecting him and this might have made him upset. Though Milind Soman was the first choice for Shekhar Malhotra, he left “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar” after shooting some sequences and the role then went to Deepak Tijori.

“Take A Bow,” Rajat Patidar’s Smashing Century For RCB In Eliminator Makes Twitter Go Crazy

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL 2022 journey was full of ups and downs but now everything seems to be working in its favor. First, Virat Kohli came back in form and played a match-winning knock in its last league match and kept the chances of his team entering the play-offs alive. Secondly, things worked in RCB’s way (Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals) and it entered the play-offs and now the team has won the eliminator against Lucknow Super Giants despite the fact that the big names of the team – Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and Virat Kohli failed to perform well.

Rajat Patidar is the man of the moment for RCB fans as he who took the whole responsibility on his shoulders to take his team home as the winner in the knock-out match. What makes it more interesting is the fact that Rajat Patidar, an uncapped Indian cricketer, went unsold in the mega-auction for the IPL 2022, he joined RCB as a replacement for Karnataka cricketer Luvnith Sisodia, was not a part of RCB’s scheme of things in the first half, got a chance in the second half and used every opportunity that came in his way.

In yesterday’s match which was played Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, Rajat Patidar played a blistering knock of 112 runs not out in 54 balls and his innings included 12 fours & 7 sixes and thus, he helped his team in putting up a total of 207/4 on the score board. RCB’s start was very bad as the skipper Faf du Plessis got out for a golden duck and Virat Kohli also looked very uncomfortable while batting as he scored only 25 runs for which he played 24 balls and his innings included only 2 fours. Glenn Maxwell also got out quite early after scoring 9 runs for which he played 10 balls and he was followed by Mahipal Lomror who scored 14 runs (9 balls, 2 fours).

Dinesh Karthik (37 runs, 23 balls, 5 fours & 1 six) supported Patidar well who completed his century in just 49 balls and registered the record of scoring the fastest century in the history of the IPL by an uncapped player in his name. Not just this, he also becomes the first batter to score a century in the eliminator.

LSG fell short by 14 runs and now RCB will clash against Rajasthan Royals in the second qualifier. “He Was Way Ahead Of His Time,” Irfan Recalls Shane Warne’s Incredible Captaincy In IPL2008

Shane Warne, the former Aussie spinner who took his last breath in March this year will always be remembered as one of the best spinners of all times. He had a strong Indian connection as he led the IPL team Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural edition of the league in 2008 and made his team win the first IPL trophy. Shane Warne took the captaincy of RR just one year after his retirement from the international cricket and the manner in which the spin wizard led his team made even his critics his fans.

Recently while doing commentary, the former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan spoke about Shane Warne and his approach during the IPL 2008. Irfan’s elder brother and former Indian cricketer Yusuf Pathan was also a part of Shane Warne’s team at that time along with the former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif. Irfan Pathan said that Shane Warne was different from all other captains and he was way ahead of time as he used to bring his team in stadium at around 7:25 pm as the matches used to start at 8:00 pm. Irfan Pathan added that it was summer season and Shane Warne wanted to conserve the energy of his players and didn’t want to get them tired.

Irfan Pathan was a member of Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab KIngs) at that time and he said that they used to reach stadium around 6 pm and practice a little extra. The former Gujarat cricketer said that though they also did well as they reached the semi-finals, Shane Warne led RR to their first IPL win and whenever people would talk about the IPL, Shane Warne would also be remembered.

RR defeated MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the finals of the IPL 2008 and this was the only time they could win an IPL trophy.

As far as the IPL 2022 is concerned, RR has lost the first qualifier to GT but it will get a second chance as it will play the second qualifier against the winner of the eliminator which will be played today between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.

“He’s Not Virat Kohli,” Riyan Parag Heavily Slammed For His Attitude & Behaviour During GTvsRR

Rajasthan Royals lost to Gujarat Titans in the first qualifier of the IPL 2022 which was played yesterday at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and now RR will need to win the second qualifier if it wants to play the finals of the tournament. While GT cricketer David Miller made headlines for his blistering knock of 68 runs (38 balls, 3 fours & 5 sixes) which he played against his former franchise, the RR cricketer Riyan Parag was in news for all the wrong reasons and he also got slammed by netizens and cricket fans for his attitude.

There were two incidents which made some fans very angry with Riyan Parag – the first one happened on the last ball of the RR innings when Ravichandran Ashwin was at the striker’s end and Riyan was on the non-striker’s end. The last ball which was bowled by Yash Dayal went wide and straight into the wicketkeeper’s hand but Riyan ran fast to take a single; however Ashwin stood his ground as there was no single and as a result, Riyan got run out. What irked cricket fans the most was that Riyan gave a d*ath stare to the senior cricketer Ashwin despite the fact that there was no run and Ashwin was at no fault.

The second incident took place when Riyan Parag saved a boundary by diving but he fumed at his teammate Devdutt Padikkal for not collecting and throwing the ball swiftly.

While some praised Riyan for his energy, the majority expressed their unhappiness over his behaviour and attitude. This is not the first time that Riyan Parag has been slammed by netizens, earlier he got into fight with Harshal Patel and mocked umpires. Even former Aussie cricketer Matthew Hayden was not happy with Riyan Parag’s behaviour when he mocked the umpires.

As far as the match is concerned, the toss was won by GT and it asked RR to bat first. RR managed to put up a good total of 188/6 with the help of Jos Buttler’s 89 runs (56 balls, 12 fours & 2 sixes) and skipper Sanju Samson’s 47 runs (26 balls, 5 fours & 3 sixes). Though GT lost opener Wriddhiman Saha quite early for duck, Shubman Gill (35 runs, 21 balls, 5 fours & 1 six) and Matthew Wade (35 runs, 30 balls, 6 fours) stabilized the innings, it was David Miller who ensured that his team went home as a winner. The GT skipper Hardik Pandya also made a useful contribution as he scored 40 runs not out (27 balls, 5 fours).

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants will clash against each other in the eliminator today which is also going to be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

There have been instances when we have seen luxury brands selling their products at exorbitant prices, for example, recently we informed you about the worn-out and dirty sneakers which were getting sold for whopping Rs. 48K by Balenciaga or Zara selling a lungi (which is easily available for Rs. 100-200) at a price of Rs. 6K or a Rs. 66K folding chair bag which can store just nothing and the list is very long.

There are many other examples to prove that luxury fashion brands charge insane amounts for their products but can you ever think that a set of 6 plastic buckets can be sold for Rs. 25,999 and that too after a discount of 28 percent. Yes, you read that right! Even more amazingly, the maximum retail price of this set is shown as Rs. 35,900 and it was available on the portal of e-commerce giant Amazon.

If this was not enough, 2 plastic mugs were getting sold at a huge price of Rs. 9,914 after applying a discount of 55 percent.

Earlier the plastic bucket was shown unavailable, though it has a review in which the online user sarcastically praised the bucket a lot and goes on to say that it is so good that it should have been priced at Rs. 99,999.
