Sachin Tendulkar Breaks Silence On Arjun Not Getting Chance To Play For MI In Two IPL Seasons

The IPL 2022 is close to its end as we already know that the new IPL team Gujarat Titans is the first finalist of the tournament and very soon we will also come to know about the second finalist as the eliminator will be played today between Royal Challengers Bangalore and the new IPL team Lucknow Super Giants. The winner of today’s match will be playing against Rajasthan Royals in the second qualifier and then we will get our second finalist.

However, the two teams which are the most successful teams of the league had a disastrous campaign and leave aside winning the IPL 2022, they couldn’t even manage to qualify for the play-offs. Yes, we are talking about Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, while the former has won the tournament four times, the latter has taken the trophy home 5 times. Whereas CSK is sitting at the ninth position, MI is at the bottom of the table but apart from its performance, the Mumbai team is getting slammed for one more reason and that is not giving a chance to Arjun Tendulkar to play in the IPL.

Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is with MI for the last two years but didn’t get the chance to make his debut in the league till date. Arjun was purchased by MI last year for Rs. 20 lakhs and the franchise once again bought him in the mega-auction for the IPL 2022 for Rs. 30 lakhs. In the IPL 2022, MI played 22 cricketers but Arjun Tendulkar was not played despite the fact that after the team’s chances of entering the play-offs became nil, the skipper Rohit Sharma stated that they would now like to have a look at the future by giving opportunities to the young cricketers.

Many cricket fans were hoping that Arjun Tendulkar would at least get to play one or two matches for the team but it didn’t happen and the general opinion was that why MI didn’t release Arjun if it was not willing to play him.

Now the former Indian cricketer and Arjun’s father Sachin Tendulkar has broken his silence on this matter and he spoke about it in a show SachInsight. When Sachin was asked whether he would have liked to see Arjun play in the IPL 2022, Little Master said what he thinks or feels has no importance because the season has already finished. He further says that he always tells his son that his path is going to be challenging and difficult, adding that Arjun has chosen cricket because he loves it, so he should keep on working hard and the results will surely come.

Sachin Tendulkar has been associated with MI as a mentor and he has also made it clear that he plays no role in the selection of the team, he leaves it to the team management and this is how it has worked till now.

Arjun Tendulkar has played for Mumbai at domestic level and his performance has been decent. However, now even few former cricketers have started questioning as to when Arjun Tendulkar will get to make his IPL debut.

“I’d Have Scored 10K+ Test Runs Had I Not Been Dropped,” Sehwag Says He Was Hurt When Dropped

Virender Sehwag, the former Indian cricketer, is one of the best batsmen of all times and he was a nightmare for the bowlers of his time because of his explosive style of batting. Viru paaji, as his fans love to call him is also very active on social media networks and netizens just love his unique and witty style of offering birthday wishes to his friends, teammates and other people from the cricket fraternity.

Virender Sehwag made his international debut in ODIs in the year 1999 but for his test debut he had to wait for almost 2 years as he played his first test match in 2001 against South Africa in Bloemfontein and it was certainly a great one as he scored a century in this match. In his 15 yrs of international career, Virender Sehwag played 251 ODIs and scored 8273 runs and 19 T20Is and scored 394 runs. As far as the purest form of cricket is concerned, Viru paaji played 104 test matches and scored 8586 runs which makes him India’s fifth highest run-scorer in tests. However during an interview, Sehwag stated that he would have crossed 10K mark if he had not been dropped for almost a year in 2007-08.

While speaking on a show, Virender Sehwag who was the vice-captain of the side at that time said that suddenly he got to realize he was not in the test team and it really hurt him a lot. He added that he would have ended his career with more than 10,000 runs if he had not been dropped for that period. After the 2006-07 tour of South Africa, Sehwag was dropped from the test team, Rahul Dravid was the skipper at that time and Nawab of Najafgarh even thought of taking retirement after getting dropped but Sachin Tendulkar stopped him from taking this step.

In December 2007 just before the tour to Australia, the selectors decided to call Virender Sehwag back in the team as Gautam Gambhir was advised three weeks rest due to an injury. It was a surprise for Viru as he was not even in the list of 24-probables for the tour.

Though he didn’t play the first two test matches yet before the third test match, the then skipper Anil Kumble promised him that if he scored a fifty in the practice match, he would be in the playing XI. India won the third test match which was played at Perth, Sehwag helped his team in winning the match by scoring at a high rate. However, it was in the fourth test match that he announced his return with a bang as he scored 63 in the first innings and 151 in the second innings.

Sehwag stated that those 60 runs were the toughest of his career because he was doing it to repay the faith that Anil Kumble showed in him and the explosive batter also didn’t want to give anyone a chance to question Anil Kumble as to why he selected him (Viru) for the Australian tour. After the match, Anil Kumble promised Viru that he would not be dropped until he (Kumble) was the skipper of the test team.

Virender Sehwag added that it is the confidence of the captain that a player wants the most and in his initial days, he got it from the Prince of Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly and in the later days he got it from Anil Kumble.

We still miss watching him smashing the ball to all the corners of the field!

Jimmy Neesham Trolls Rassie Van Der Dussen With An Epic Comment Over The Latter’s Insta Post

The first qualifier of the IPL 2022 will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans today at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. While the winner of the match will qualify for the finals straightaway, the loser will get a second chance as it will clash against the winner of eliminator in the second qualifier.

The majority of the cricketers of the present times are active on social media networks and few of them such as Wasim Jaffer, Yuzvendra Chahal, David Warner, etc. have garnered a huge fan following because of their antics on the social media sites.

Recently, the South African cricketer Rassie van der Dussen who is playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 made a post on Instagram in which he is seen training hard. He captioned his image as, “Running into the new week, and it’s gonna be a big one! #IPL2022”

Here is the post:

While his fans liked his post, his RR teammate and Kiwi cricketer Jimmy Neesham used this as an opportunity to troll Rassie van der Dussen.

Jimmy wrote in comments section, “Getting ready for when Sanju wants a drink?”

Rajasthan Royals has performed pretty well in this season as it has won 9 matches out of the 14 that it has played and it is the only team among the four teams which have reached the play-offs that has won an IPL trophy earlier. While GT and Lucknow Super Giants are playing in the tournament for the first time, Royal Challengers Bangalore is also waiting to win its maiden IPL title.

May the best team win the IPL 2022!

Which team deserves to win the title this year in your opinion?

5 Cricketers Whom CSK Benched But They Became Match-Winners When Played For Other IPL Teams

Chennai Super Kings may not have performed well in the IPL 2022 but it is certainly one of the strongest teams of the tournament. CSK which is also the second most successful team of the league with four title wins has given platform to many youngsters to showcase their talent and skills to the whole world. Some of them even made it to the national team of the country but there were several players who didn’t get many chances to play even after getting selected in CSK. It is not that the CSK management didn’t have trust in these players but they have to form a playing squad while keeping all the factors in mind and there can be only 11 players in the playing squad including four overseas players.

Today we will tell you about 5 such players who were mostly benched by CSK but they turned out to be match-winners when they got the chance to play for other teams:

1. Thisara Perera:

The former Sri Lankan cricketer who also led his national team made his international debut in the year 2009 and in 2010, he was bought by CSK. However, Thisara Perera got to play only one match for the Chennai team as he was released by the franchise later on and he went on to play for various other franchises such as Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and Rising Pune Supergiants.

2. Andrew Tye:

The Australian cricketer represents his country in the limited overs format and he was purchased by CSK in 2015 even before he made his international debut which took place in 2016. However, he didn’t get the chance to play in the IPL till the time he was in CSK. He made his debut in the IPL 2017 for Gujarat Lions and in his debut match, he took a fifer which also included a hat-trick. In the IPL 2018, Andrew Tye played for Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings) and he was the Purple cap holder as he took the most wickets (24) in the tournament. In the IPL 2022, he is a part of the new team Lucknow Super Giants as he has been signed as a replacement for Mark Wood who got injured.

3. Sai Kishore:

Sai Kishore plays for Tamil Nadu in the domestic level and he is quite popular in the domestic circuits as he was the highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy (2018-19) for his team. CSK bought him in the IPL 2020 auction but he got the chance to make his IPL debut in the IPL 2022 for the new IPL team Gujarat Titans. Sai Kishore is playing an important role in GT’s campaign and he is also learning a lot as he is bowling with one of the finest spinners of the present times, Rashid Khan.

4. Tim Southee:

The Kiwi cricketer made his IPL debut in the year 2011 for CSK but he got to play only 5 matches in which he could manage just 4 wickets. Due to his poor performance, the franchise released him after one season and later on, he went on to play for Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

5. George Bailey:

The former Australian cricketer was also a part of CSK and that too from 2009 till 2012 but in all these years, he played only 4 matches before being released by the franchise. In 2014, he led Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in the tournament and that was the best performance of the Punjab team till date as it reached the finals under George Bailey’s leadership but failed to win it. Quite obviously, George Bailey was retained by the Punjab franchise but because of his below par performance with bat and poor captaincy, he was released by KXIP and he went on to play for Rising Pune Supergiants (now defunct).

“I Am Glad That Virat’s Confirmed It,” Says AB De Villiers On His Return To RCB In IPL 2023

AB de Villiers, the former South African cricketer, will always be remembered as one of the greatest players we have seen playing cricket and there is no doubt that not just Royal Challengers Bangalore but fans have also been missing him big time in the IPL 2022.

ABD started his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in the year 2008 but in the year 2011, he was purchased by RCB and from 2011 till 2021, he was a part of the Bangalore team. He has played many match-winning innings for his franchise and is the second highest scorer for RCB after Virat Kohli as his score is 4522 runs in 157 matches.

ABD shares a great bond with the former skipper of RCB Virat Kohli and recently during a chat with Danish Sait, a TV host, stand-up comedian, actor and writer, Kohli has made a very interesting revelation which may bring smile on the faces of ardent RCB fans.

Virat Kohli states that he is missing ABD a lot, adding that he still talks to him and he also messages Kohli frequently. He further says that AB de Villiers is currently in the USA with his family and friends watching golf and he is also keeping a track of RCB. Kohli goes on to say that hopefully ABD will be with RCB in the IPL 2023 in some capacity and this statement is more than enough to make RCB fans happy.

Now ABD has opened up on this matter and he has also confirmed that he will be with RCB next year but not as a player. AB de Villiers says that he is happy as his return has been confirmed by Virat Kohli and he has heard that some matches will be played in Bengaluru next year so he would certainly like to travel to his second home and witness  Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru, with crowd in full capacity. The former Proteas skipper states that though he hasn’t decided anything, he is missing RCB as well and wants to be with them next year.

As per the reports, AB de Villiers will join RCB ahead of the IPL 2023 as a mentor or a consultant but there is no doubt that his presence will give a great boost to the campaign of RCB in the tournament.

Are you excited for his comeback?

“Safed Jhooth,” Virat Kohli Hilariously Trolls Shubman Gill Over The Latter’s Instagram Post

Every cricket fan is pretty excited as the play-offs of the IPL 2022 are going to start from today and very soon we will get to see the champion of the league. The four teams which have entered the play-offs are Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Among these four teams, only Rajasthan Royals has won an IPL title which it did in 2008 (inaugural edition) and all other three teams will contest for their first IPL title. In fact, it won’t be wrong to say that for GT or LSG it will be a great achievement if either of them wins the IPL title in the first year of their participation as both these teams are added in the league this year only.

Though RCB has been considered as one of the strongest teams of the league, it has never won an IPL title and despite the fact that Virat Kohli is a great cricketer, he will go down as a captain who was not able to make his team win an IPL title. His form was a matter of concern for his team but in his last league match which RCB played against GT, Kohli played a superb innings of 73runs (54 balls, 8 fours & 2 sixes).

It is quite important for each team that their openers play well if they want to win the important matches and recently the two openers of the IPL teams which have qualified for the play-offs got engaged in a funny banter.

Shubman Gill, the GT player, took to his official Instagram handle for the purpose of posting a promotional video and it was soon noticed by the former skipper of RCB Virat Kohli who took it as an opportunity to troll the young cricketer.

Here is the Instagram post of Shubman Gill:

Click to watch this video directly on Instagram

Virat Kohli wrote in the comments section, “padh ke boli jaa saara kuch (Keep speaking everything after reading)”. The GT cricketer responded soon with, “Paaji yaad karke” (bro, after memorizing). To this, Virat hilariously reacts with, “Safed jhooth” (big lie).

As far as the play-offs schedule is concerned, the first qualifier will be played today (May 24) between GT and RR at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, and the winner of this match will qualify for the finals straightaway which will be played on 29th May in Ahmedabad. The eliminator will be played tomorrow (May 25) between RCB and LSG at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens. The second qualifier will be played on May 27 in Ahmedabad between the loser of the first qualifier and the winner of the eliminator and the team which will win this match will play in the finals against the winner of the first qualifier.

Can you guess which team will win the IPL this year or which is your favourite team to win the league? Share your views.

What Is The Gold Loan Process – Muthoot FinCorp?

Introduction

The gold loan market has been growing rapidly as low-income individuals, and small enterprises continue to be impacted by decreasing revenues.

Compared to the previous year, lenders reported a 45% increase in gold loan outstanding as of December 2021 as customers pledged their gold jewellery for emergency cash.

People do not know when they will bump into something unplanned that would eat up every penny. A gold loan is one of the best options to fulfill their financial needs without burdening the significant interest rates of credit cards and personal loans.

Nowadays, almost everyone buys gold. This precious metal has always been considered a better investment than stocks and bonds, especially if one is afraid of risk.

What are the eligibility criteria for getting a gold loan?

The eligibility conditions for gold loans will differ depending on the lender.

A person needs to meet the following requirements to be considered for a Muthoot FinCorp Gold Loan:

  • Gold loans can be applied for by any Indian citizen aged 18 and 65.
  • Individuals seeking a gold loan must provide gold with a purity of 18-24 karat.
  • Individuals can borrow up to 75% of the value of their gold with a Muthoot FinCorp gold loan.
  • Lenders will assess the gold items before determining the loan amount. An individual can take out a maximum loan of Rs. 50 lakhs.

Obtaining a Muthoot FinCorp Gold Loan is relatively simple and painless, as the process is streamlined and minimal documentation is required.

To obtain a gold loan, an applicant must provide the following documentation:

Submit any of the following papers to prove identity:

Any legitimate government-issued Photo ID proof, such as a driver’s licence, a PAN card, passport, Aadhar card, or voter’s ID card.

Submit any of the following documents as evidence of address:

Utility bills such as electricity or water bills, Aadhar cards, voter’s cards, bank statements, or rent agreements.

How can one obtain a gold loan?

Getting a gold loan through Muthoot FinCorp is simple, and the gold loan interest rate is affordable. The desired gold loan is executed within 30 minutes after submitting the relevant documents.

Until the loan is returned in full, the gold offered as security is stored in secure and safe vaults. The gold will be transferred once borrowers have paid the debt.

The procedure for obtaining a gold loan is as follows:

  1. Applicants need to download the Muthoot Blue app or visit their website and then input the basic information and details of the gold they wish to pledge.
  2. The weight and purity of the gold will be used by their gold loan calculator to calculate loan eligibility based on market gold prices.
  3. Applicants may use the calculator to determine how much their EMIs will be under various schemes for various tenures. It also allows them to choose whether they want to pay in full or in installments to get their pledged gold back.
  4. After applicants have found a plan that suits their needs, they can submit their information, and one of the lender’s representatives will contact them.
  5. To conclude the Muthoot gold loan process, walk to one of Muthoot FinCorp’s 3600+ branches across India and choose the closest one. Their executives will guide the applicants to complete the paperwork and evaluate the gold they plan to pledge. The applicant’s gold loan will be executed in a matter of minutes after that.

Conclusion

The Indian financial sector is booming, and the number of people who own gold jewellery has increased. Marriage, schooling, vacations, family requirements, and other financial obligations must all be met.

These restrictions may force a person to seek out a loan to meet their financial obligations. Gold loans are one of the fastest-growing types of loan funding because they come with less interest and better repayment periods.

A gold loan is a loan backed by gold jewellery. In such instances, one can quickly meet their financial obligations without worrying about payback.

Gold loans frequently offer lower interest rates than other loans, making them more appealing to people.

However, before taking out a gold loan, people need to consider their needs and examine the lender to make an informed selection.
