Amitabh Bachchan Has A Kickass Reply To Troller Who Calls Him ‘Budhau’ For Wishing GM Late

Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood actor, is pretty active on social media and he makes it a point to greet his fans and followers on a daily basis. Big B also interacts with his fans regularly, in fact he tries his best to reply each one of his followers but as he receives a huge number of messages, it is not possible for him to answer every one of them.

The Shahenshah of Bollywood also gets trolled sometimes especially when he promotes the movies of his son Abhishek Bachchan but recently, he got trolled for wishing good morning a little late to his followers.

Usually Senior Bachchan wishes good morning to his followers on Facebook early in the morning but yesterday he wished at around 11:30 am.

While his die-hard loyal fans wished him in return, there were some who trolled him for being late. One user asked him whether he didn’t feel he wished good morning a little early and in response, the “Pink” actor revealed that he was working whole night because of which he woke up late but as he got up, he wished everyone. In fact, he further told that online user that if he is hurt, he is sorry.

Another user wrote that it seems summer holidays started for him as well because of which he is getting up late and Big B replied by saying that he was working late.

Amidst this all, there was one user who mocked Amitabh Bachchan by calling him budhau (old man). To this, Big B gives a perfect reply as he writes he will pray for the user that he lives long and no one insults him in his old age by calling budhau.

There were few who were saying that Amitabh Bachchan must have lost his mind because of which he was wishing so late but AB senior dealt with all the trollers in a cool and calm manner.

Don’t you think it was unnecessary and stupid on the part of netizens who trolled Amitabh Bachchan just for wishing late one day? Heights! Get a life trollers!

How Kiran Verma Is Raising Awareness For Blood Donation With His Walk All Across India

With COVID-19 being a part of our lives for a good two years, wherein the toll of people being tested positive peaking as high as 4 lakhs a day, voluntary blood donations have as a result upped significantly. Even after cases dwindling and now reaching a relatively negligible number, people are doing their bit, so that there is no shortage of a basic need-blood, for any such future calamity.

One person who is putting immense effort in making people aware of the same is Kiran Verma, who is credited with conducting the longest blood awareness campaign ever by an individual in the world.

He has embarked on a walk which will be the longest in terms of its duration, with him walking over 21,000 kms, taking almost 2 years to finish. He has already started from Thiruvananthapuram on the 28th December 2021and has now walked over 3,500 kms along Trivandrum, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulum, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Mahe, Kannur, Kasaragod, Mangalore, Udupi, Bangalore, Ramanagaram, Mandya, Mysore, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Thrissur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Rameswaram, Sivaganga, Pudukottai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, Puducherry, Chennai, Kancheepuram, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Tumkur, Hassan, Chickmagalur, Shimoga, Goa, Belagavi, Ratnagiri districts and has reached Mumbai on 8th May 2022.

He will now continue his journey via Daman, Diu and Ahmedabad. 31 blood donation camps in various places, collecting more than 4007 units of blood, with more than 1000 donors, have further encouraged him to keep walking and going on quite literally.

But what prompted him to do this?

Three years before COVID-19 hit the country, in 2016, a poor family from Raipur, made Kiran resolve, that no family will die due to a lack of blood by 2025 in India.

Kiran had started ‘Simply Blood’. On being informed about a poor family from Raipur that wanted blood, he personally did the needful, saving a life. But this very same voluntarily donated, free-of-cost blood was sold to a family for INR 1500/- and in order to repay the amount, the lady had to resort to prostitution. Uninformed, he went to meet the family and on knowing the truth, which was difficult to stomach, he left his job the same day, to work towards his goal.

Statistics show, that if 5 million of India’s healthy population start donating blood, there won’t be a single death due to the non-availability of blood in the entire country. But certain practices have made people in our country be vary of donating blood. And Kiran is working towards changing and giving an impetus to this culture of donating blood in our country.

About Simply Blood

Delhi based social worker Kiran Verma found ‘Change With One Foundation’ under which he operates two platforms- Simply Blood & Change With one Meal.

In order to spread awareness about both these programs, Kiran has covered over 6,000 km on foot.

‘Simply Blood’- Launched in January 2017, this is the world’s first virtual blood donation platform that connects blood donors and blood-seekers, without charging any of the parties. The program has served more than 35,000 potential lives.

‘Change with One Meal’- Under this initiative, unlimited meals are served for INR 10/- in Delhi. In the last year alone, they have managed to serve 10,00,000 meals.

Here’s wishing Kiran Verma, all the very best and a heartfelt thank you for all that he is doing for humankind!

Why Was Andrew Symonds Called Roy & Who Gave Him This Nickname?

One of the finest all-rounders of all times, former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds departed from the world last night after his car met an accident at the borders of Townsville. He had a huge fan following and he was an integral part of the Australian squad especially in the shorter format, however there were times when he remained in news for all the wrong reasons because of his habit of consuming liquor.

Andrew Symonds made his international debut in the year 1998 in the ODIs and he played 198 ODIs for Australia in which he scored 5088 runs. He had to wait till 2004 for making his debut in the purest form of the game but he played only 26 test matches in which made 1462 runs. He also played 14 T20Is for his country in which he scored 337 runs. Other than this, he also played for Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and he was the second most expensive cricketer of the IPL 2008, the year in which the tournament started.

Andrew Symonds was also called “Roy” by his friends and family and he got this nickname from his childhood sports coach. His coach was a fan of Leroy Loggins, the former American-Australian basketball player and he liked Symonds also a lot so he nicknamed him as “Roy”.

Andrew Symonds was a part of many controversies including monkeygate and some time ago, he once again made headlines when the Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal made a revelation that in the year 2011, his MI teammates Andrew Symonds and James Franklin tied him up and left him for whole night while celebrating the victory in the finals of the Champions League.

RIP Roy!

“It’s Very Important As A Leader To Be Sensible,” Shami Has An Apt Advice For Hardik Pandya

The Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has certainly impressed everyone with not just his game but his captaincy skills as well in the IPL 2022. He was away from cricket for a long time due to his injury and it won’t be wrong to say that he has silenced his critics with his performances. He is the skipper of the new IPL team Gujarat Titans which is sitting at the top of the points table with 10 wins in the 13 matches that it has played.

Hardik Pandya has led his team from the front in all the three segments of the game whether it is batting, bowling or fielding and has set up a great example as a leader. Junior Pandya is known as an aggressive cricketer but the Indian pacer Mohammed Shami who is also a part of GT feels that the responsibility of captaincy has reduced the aggression of Hardik Pandya.

In an interaction with mediapersons on Friday, Mohammed Shami says that after the Gujarat cricketer has become the team’s skipper, he has become calmer and his reactions are more considerate. Shami adds that he has advised his captain to keep a control on his emotions because the whole world is watching cricket and it is very significant for a leader to act sensible and as per the situations which Hardik Pandya has done to the perfection.

Mohammed Shami is leading the pace attack of GT and is the highest wicket-taker for his team with 18 wickets. GT is the first team to enter the play-offs and today it has played its 13th match against the four times champion Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium.

GT won the match comfortably as it achieved the target with 7 wickets in hand and 5 balls remaining in its innings. GT opener Wriddhiman Saha was awarded with the Player of the Match award for his beautiful knock of 67 runs not out (57 balls, 8 fours & 1 six).

The toss was won by MS Dhoni led CSK and it decided to bat first but the CSK batters managed only 133/5 in their 20 overs with the help of Ruturaj Gaikwad’s 53 runs (49 balls, 4 fours & 1 six) and Narayan Jagadeesan’s 39 runs (33 balls, 3 fours & 1 six).

Hardik Pandya has definitely improved after becoming a skipper, what do you say?

Shah Rukh Khan’s Old Video Goes Viral In Which He Revealed Why He Would Not Join Hollywood

The southern language movies have been roaring on the box-office and this time it is not just about the southern box-office but they are also making their presence felt in the Hindi speaking states. Many movie lovers, industry experts, etc. are of the opinion that Bollywood is losing its sheen and southern movies and their actors are slowly establishing themselves in the hearts of audiences whose heart used to beat for Bollywood earlier.

The dubbed versions of Prabhas starrer Baahubali, Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa, Ram Charan and Junior NTR starrer RRR and Yash starrer KGF 2 received a lot of love from the Hindi audiences and these actors also became a household name in this part of the country. However when another superstar of the Telugu movie industry Mahesh Babu was asked regarding his intentions of working in Bollywood, he created a controversy by saying that Bollywood can’t afford him.

While majority of people from Bollywood slammed the actor for his arrogant statement, there were very few including Kangana Ranuat who supported him by saying that they have grown so high that Bollywood can’t really afford them.

This statement of Mahesh Babu disappointed many and soon an old video of Shah Rukh Khan started circulating in which the latter responded to the question of working in Hollywood in a humble manner. Shah Rukh who is also known as the King of Romance is certainly one of the most popular actors of the Indian film industry and he enjoys a huge fan base across the globe.

In a very modest style, SRK makes it clear that he has no intentions of working in Hollywood, in fact he begins by saying that his English is not good which makes everyone laugh.

Here is what SRK said, “If they give me a role of a dumb person who doesn’t speak, maybe. I am not trying to be modest but I am 42 years old, I am little brown, I don’t have any special USP as an actor. I don’t know Kung fu, I don’t dance the Latin salsa, I am not tall enough. I think anyone who is my age in the western world, I have seen recent films of Europe, films of what you call ‘the dream factory’, I think there is no space for me. There is no place for me because I don’t think I am that talented. So I would like to continue doing work in India and hopefully I take Indian cinema to the world, that’s the ambition I have”.
