Virat Kohli’s Run-Out By Ex RCB Player Yuzi Chahal Sparks A Hilarious Meme Fest On Twitter

The IPL table topper Rajasthan Royals tasted its first defeat in its third match which was against Royal Challengers Bangalore and was played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. While the match will be remembered mostly for Dinesh Karthik’s innings as he played the role of finisher to the perfection, it will also be remembered for a moment when we got to see friends becoming enemies.

Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian spinner, had been a part of RCB for eight seasons and performed pretty well for the franchise but before the mega-auction for the IPL 2022, the Bangalore franchise released him and left everyone surprised when they didn’t even place a bid for Yuzi in the auction. The spinner was ultimately bought by RR for Rs. 6.5 crore and it won’t be wrong to say that he is justifying his purchase to a great extent with his performance till now.

In the RR vs RCB match, Yuzvendra Chahal got his former skipper Virat Kohli run-out with the help of a brilliant throw by his current skipper Sanju Samson. In the eighth over of the RCB innings, Virat Kohli was looking to take a run after the ball got deflected post hitting the pads of David Willey but Sanju Samson made a good throw which was collected well by Chahal and he didn’t make any mistake in removing the bails. The decision went to the third umpire and as the decision came, fans of Virat Kohli got upset as he was given out.

Soon Twitterati went berserk and even Rajasthan Royals made the most of the opportunity. RR took a hilarious dig at Virat Kohli as well as RCB by tweeting, “When your ex comes back to haunt you!”

Yuzi is a great admirer of Virat and he has even credited Kohli for his rise in the international level. Recently in an interview, he also made it clear that he was not even asked by the RCB management whether he wanted to be retained or not nor he was offered retention.

As far as the match is concerned, Faf du Plessis won the toss and chose to bowl first. RR put up a total of 169 runs on the board with the help of Jos Buttler’s knock of 70 but RCB chased the target with five balls remaining.

There is no doubt that we will get to witness such moments in the future as well which might or might not create a rift among cricketers or franchises but will surely provide a good dose of laughter to netizens.

Virat Kohli Shaking A Leg In Team Huddle & Siraj Hilariously Copying Him Is Too Cute To Miss

The IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore registered its second win and also stopped the winning streak of Rajasthan Royals by defeating it in the 13th match of the IPL 2022. RCB is now being led by Faf du Plessis as Virat Kohli gave up his captaincy after the IPL 2021 but Kohli is still the same person as far as his energy and enthusiasm are concerned.

Virat Kohli is one of those few players who are always full of energy plus he also ensures that the environment in the dressing room and among the team members remains lively and cheerful. Just before the match against Rajasthan Royals, Virat Kohli was seen having a good time during the team huddle and he also shook his leg as well as showed some moves. Later on, Mohammed Siraj, Harshal Patel and the skipper Faf du Plessis were also seen copying his moves.

RCB lost its first match against Punjab Kings despite putting up a great show as it scored more than 200 runs but it made a strong comeback in the tournament by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in its second match. After that, RCB once again performed superbly as it defeated Rajasthan Royals in the match which was played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

RCB won the toss and decided to put RR to bat first; though Yashasvi Jaiswal got out early, Jos Buttler (70) and Devdutt Padikkal (37) stabilized the innings by putting up a partnership of 70 runs for the second wicket. Shimron Hetmyer also played a useful knock of 42 runs and helped his team in putting up a total of 169/3 on the board.

In response, RCB openers Faf du Plessis (29) and Anuj Rawat (26) produced a partnership of 55 for the first wicket but it was Dinesh Karthik (44*) and Shahbaz Ahmed (45) who ensured that their team went home as winners.

Virat Kohli may have got out early on the meager score of 5 but his positive energy certainly helped RCB players in maintaining positive mood even when things were going against them, what do you say?

Virat Kohli Reveals What He Would Do If He Wakes Up Like Cristiano Ronaldo One Day

Virat Kohli is one of the most admired sports personalities across the globe whether it is for his cricketing talent or for his love for fitness. However, the former skipper of the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore is himself a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese professional footballer.

Virat Kohli has been quite vocal in regard to his love for football and his favorite footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and recently RCB posted a BTS (behind the scenes) video in which Kohli along with Mohammed Siraj and Faf du Plessis talked about their favorite athlete and what would they do if they wake up one day like him.

In response to the question, Virat Kohli states that his favorite athlete is Cristiano Ronaldo and if he wakes up as him one morning, he would get his brain scanned in order to find out from where he gets all the mental strength.

When Mohammed Siraj was asked the same question, he also took the name of Cristiano Ronaldo and if he wakes up as Ronaldo one morning, he would like to help the poor and needy by opening a hospital for them. Faf du Plessis has a completely different answer to the question as his favorite athlete is the tennis sensation Roger Federer who has won 20 Grand Slams. Faf du Plessis says that if he wakes up as Roger Federer, he would like to take a look at his Rolex collection.

The former skipper of India also talked about the heartbreaking moments and the most memorable moment of his cricketing career. Virat stated that the final of the IPL 2016 in which RCB lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad was one of his heartbreaking moments as he and his team performed pretty well in the whole tournament but they were not able to win the trophy. In that season, Virat scored 973 runs which is a record of the most runs in a single season. The second heartbreaking moment is also from the same year but from the T20 World Cup. In that tournament, India entered the semi-finals but lost to West Indies in the semi-final which was played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Talking about his most memorable moments, Virat referred to the last league match of the IPL 2016 which RCB played against the Delhi franchise and then the next qualifier in which AB de Villiers took the opposition by storm. Virat stated that the celebration which happened at the end of the game was certainly most special for him.

Recently during the match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals, a couple was seen kissing each other in the stadium and as cameraman made no delay in capturing them, the incident became a meme material.

As far as the match is concerned, the skipper of GT Hardik Pandya was on cloud nine as his team won its consecutive second game by 14 runs. The match was played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune and DC decided to bowl first after winning the toss. GT posted a good total of 171/6 in its stipulated 20 overs with the help of Shubman Gill’s 84 (46 balls, 6 fours & 4 sixes) plus the skipper also made a useful contribution of 31 runs.

DC lost its openers early and the skipper Rishabh Pant (43), Lalit Yadav (25) and Rovman Powell (20) tried their best to achieve the target but in the end, they could accumulate only 157 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Lockie Ferguson of GT was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his superb bowling (4/28) and for playing an important role in wrapping up the DC innings.

While majority of the online users were posting memes on the kissing couple, there were few who were slamming the cameraman for capturing the moment.

Well, if people don’t have any problem in indulging in PDA in open and public places like a stadium where there are good number of cameras, why is it a problem in getting captured or clicked? What do you say?

ICC CEO States That Motive For Including Cricket In Olympics Is Much Bigger Than Making Money

Cricket is certainly one of the most popular sports of the world but it is also true that there are still many countries where cricket is not given much importance. The biggest reason for cricket not being played in majority of the nations of the globe is that it is not included in major sporting events such as Olympics. The “Gentleman’s Game” has not been included in the Olympics since 1900 despite the fact that many attempts have been made in order to include it in the sporting event.

Recently, the CEO of ICC, Geoff Allardice gave an interview in the SEN Radio show “This Is Your Journey thanks to Tobin Brothers” and he also spoke about the need and benefits of including cricket in the Olympics. He said that the intention of including cricket in the Olympics is not at all related to monetary gains but for increasing the reach of cricket in non-cricketing nations.

He further said that once cricket is seen as an Olympics sport, its association with the government and the national Olympics movement will be highly beneficial for the 106 members in regard to assistance in performance enhancement and facilities.

The men’s cricket has already got featured in 1998 Commonwealth Games which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the good news is that the Women’s T20 cricket will get featured in the 2022 Commonwealth Games which will take place between 28 July and 8 August in Birmingham, England.

As per the reports, ICC will bid for featuring cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles, 2032 Brisbane Olympics and further as well. The next Olympics is going to take place in 2024 in Paris from 26th July to 11th August.

The biggest reason of cricket not getting included in the Olympics is the fact that it is a long duration game in comparison to other games which take very less time. Well there is no denying the fact that the timing has reduced considerably with the advent of T20 cricket but still it is a time taking sport in comparison to other games.

Should cricket be included in the Olympics? What do you think? Let us know your opinion.
