Twitter Floods With Hilarious Memes As Cameraman Clicks Couple Kissing During IPL Match

It has been around 10 days that the IPL 2022 has started and we have witnessed some great moments and performances on the field, while very few matches have been one-sided, in majority of the matches we have seen some tight finish. The cameramen of the tournament are also making headlines nowadays because they are not leaving any chance of capturing beautiful girls, couples, some beautiful moments, etc. in the stadium and it won’t be wrong to say that they are making matches even more entertaining and interesting for the TV viewers.

Recently during the match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals, a couple was seen kissing each other in the stadium and as cameraman made no delay in capturing them, the incident became a meme material.

The micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with memes and jokes as kissing in the stadium is not something which is common in India. These rib-tickling memes will bring a smile on your face too:

As far as the match is concerned, the skipper of GT Hardik Pandya was on cloud nine as his team won its consecutive second game by 14 runs. The match was played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune and DC decided to bowl first after winning the toss. GT posted a good total of 171/6 in its stipulated 20 overs with the help of Shubman Gill’s 84 (46 balls, 6 fours & 4 sixes) plus the skipper also made a useful contribution of 31 runs.

DC lost its openers early and the skipper Rishabh Pant (43), Lalit Yadav (25) and Rovman Powell (20) tried their best to achieve the target but in the end, they could accumulate only 157 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Lockie Ferguson of GT was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his superb bowling (4/28) and for playing an important role in wrapping up the DC innings.

While majority of the online users were posting memes on the kissing couple, there were few who were slamming the cameraman for capturing the moment.

ICC CEO States That Motive For Including Cricket In Olympics Is Much Bigger Than Making Money

Cricket is certainly one of the most popular sports of the world but it is also true that there are still many countries where cricket is not given much importance. The biggest reason for cricket not being played in majority of the nations of the globe is that it is not included in major sporting events such as Olympics. The “Gentleman’s Game” has not been included in the Olympics since 1900 despite the fact that many attempts have been made in order to include it in the sporting event.

Recently, the CEO of ICC, Geoff Allardice gave an interview in the SEN Radio show “This Is Your Journey thanks to Tobin Brothers” and he also spoke about the need and benefits of including cricket in the Olympics. He said that the intention of including cricket in the Olympics is not at all related to monetary gains but for increasing the reach of cricket in non-cricketing nations.

He further said that once cricket is seen as an Olympics sport, its association with the government and the national Olympics movement will be highly beneficial for the 106 members in regard to assistance in performance enhancement and facilities.

The men’s cricket has already got featured in 1998 Commonwealth Games which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the good news is that the Women’s T20 cricket will get featured in the 2022 Commonwealth Games which will take place between 28 July and 8 August in Birmingham, England.

As per the reports, ICC will bid for featuring cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles, 2032 Brisbane Olympics and further as well. The next Olympics is going to take place in 2024 in Paris from 26th July to 11th August.

The biggest reason of cricket not getting included in the Olympics is the fact that it is a long duration game in comparison to other games which take very less time. Well there is no denying the fact that the timing has reduced considerably with the advent of T20 cricket but still it is a time taking sport in comparison to other games.

Man Shows How Crimes Under IPC Were Committed In Our Loved Tom & Jerry & It’s Hilarious AF

The cartoon shows are loved not just by the kids but the adults also equally love to watch them as these shows take the elderly people back in their childhood and relive it once again. While the today’s generation is more into Pokemon, Chhota Bheem, Ben 10, Shinchan, etc., the childhood of 90s kids was incomplete without Tom & Jerry.

The American cartoon show which got released in the year 1940 was based on the rivalry between a cat (Tom) and a mouse (Jerry) and it is still very popular among the audiences despite the fact that it is available online only and no television channel airs it.

The episodes of the show were based on various situations and recently a Twitter user described different offences that have been committed in the Tom & Jerry show which are chargeable under the different sections of Indian Penal Code.

10. Defamation (Sec 499) : Spoiling someone’s public image by communicating false statements to the third party.

11. Lurking House Trespass (Sec 443) : Whoever has committed the house trespass has taken all the precautions to hide it from the person who has the right to eject him out.

12. Abetment (Sec 107) : The act of encouraging another person for committing a crime

13. Making atmosphere noxious to health (Sec 278) : Indulging in an activity because of which the atmosphere gets spoiled and harms the health of other people.

14. Misconduct in public by drunken person (Sec 510)

Famous Movie Writer Claimed Shashi Tharoor Worked In Movies As Child Actor, The MP Reacts

The day of April 1 (April Fool’s Day) is known for playing pranks as people love to make others fools but as everyone knows about it, the prank should look as much authentic as possible. Shashi Tharoor, the Congress MP from Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram, is undoubtedly one of the most famous politicians of the present times. Thanks to his impeccable vocabulary and witty posts and responses on the social media networks, he enjoys a huge fan following among online users.

However, yesterday a new side of Shashi Tharoor came into light as he decided to carry on with the joke which was played on him. Vaibhav Vishal, the famous movie writer took to the micro-blogging site Twitter yesterday and posted an image from a black & white movie “Jailor” which got released in the year 1958. The image showed a kid with the actress Geeta Bali and what is special about the kid is that he looks quite similar to Shashi Tharoor. Though the name of the child artist is Master Gyaan and he has no connection with the politician, Vaibhav Vishal claimed in his tweet that it was Shashi Tharoor who acted in movies as a child artist.

The tweet with the pic read, “While @ShashiTharoor never was in Andaz Apna Apna, he did act in movies as a child star. His screen name was Master Gyaan, and he did 9 Hindi and Malayalam films. Attaching a still from Jailor with Geeta Bali. Today was just the right day to revisit this picture. Go, Shashi!”

Undoubtedly it was a great prank and Shashi Tharoor didn’t want to spoil it so he also played along by accepting that he worked in movies in childhood which he never wanted to reveal. Tharoor’s tweet read, “And I had tried to keep it secret all along! Good sleuthing @ofnosurnamefame ! Btw I am still known as Master Gyaan…”

The Indian Twitterati was left scratching their heads as many were not even able to believe it but it was so convincing that majority of the online users believed that Shashi Tharoor worked as a child actor as well.

However a day after the prank was played, the film writer revealed the truth as he tweeted, “Sorry to burst everybody’s bubble here, but you guys were, well, April fooled. Politics is the best acting @ShashiTharoor does, and he does a phenomenal job of it, but outside of that, he never has acted in any movies.  PS: Master Gyaan he definitely is.”

The politician also cleared the air and wrote, “For all those folks who took this exchange seriously: It’s a joke! He is pulling my leg and I am playing along for fun. See yesterday’s date! #AprilFoolsDay”

Virat Reveals 3 Words Sachin Said To Him When He Got Dismissed & Kohli Went To Bat In 2011 WC

Today (2nd April 2022) is a very special day for the Indian cricket fans as 11 years ago on this date, the Indian cricket team defeated Sri Lanka in the finals of the 2011 ICC World Cup and became the champions of the world cricket by winning the World Cup. This amazing feat was achieved by the Indian squad under the leadership of MS Dhoni, the only skipper who has three major ICC trophies to this name – 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy.

Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary former Indian cricketer, was also a part of the team which broke the 28 years old jinx and brought the World Cup back to the country. The match was played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and after batting first, Sri Lanka gave a target of 275 runs to the hosts. The start of the Indian innings was pretty bad; Virender Sehwag (0) and Sachin Tendulkar (18) got out early and there was a time when India’s score was 31/2 in 6.1 overs. After Sachin Tendulkar got out, Virat Kohli who was just 22 years old at that time went to bat at the fourth position.

On the 11th anniversary of the achievement, Virat Kohli talked about the match in a video and he also revealed the three words that were said to him by Little Master when he went to bat. This video is posted by Royal Challengers Bangalore on its YouTube channel in which Virat Kohli talked about remembering the pressure of walking down to bat after 2 down as Sachin and Sehwag both were out. He added that as he walked, Sachin talked to him in brief and said, “build a partnership” which he did with Gautam Gambhir.

Virat said that he and Gambhir put up a partnership of 83 runs, he scored 35 runs which is probably the most valuable 35 runs of his career. He adds that the memories of that day are still afresh and he is happy that he was able to contribute in the match. Virat Kohli hasn’t been able to forget the thrill of winning the World Cup and the experience of listening to the crowd singing “Vande Mataram” and “Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander” is something that he will never forget.
