“That’s The Kind Of Player He Was,” Gambhir Speaks On Ugly Brawl With Virat Kohli In IPL2013

The IPL 2022 is going to start in almost a week’s time and this season is going to be the 15th season of this biggest franchise cricket tournament of the world. It won’t be incorrect to say that in the last 14 years, IPL has become an integral part of lives of cricket lovers as it not only entertained them but also gave them many memorable moments, sometimes these moments made cricket fans cry, sometimes they shouted in joy and few controversies were also created which left cricket fans in a state of shock.

One such controversy was the ugly brawl between the former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli during a match in the IPL 2013. Recently on a YouTube show, Gautam Gambhir talked about that ugly spat; at that time Gambhir was leading Kolkata Knight Riders and Virat Kohli was the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Talking about the incident, Gambhir says that he is completely fine with it and he expects the same from Virat Kohli. He adds that he likes to compete and likes those people who are competitive, while Dhoni has his own way of competing, Virat also competes in a different manner. As per Gambhir, there are times when you have to forget the personal relationships and need to do whatever is necessary because you are leading the team and you want your team to play in the manner which you want.

Later on, Gambhir also praised the former RCB skipper and said that there was nothing personal against Kohli and there would never be anything against him as well. He goes on to say that he is not at all surprised with what Virat Kohli has achieved and the transformation that he has made over the years, whether it’s related to fitness or cricket skills, is tremendous.

Virat Kohli has given up the captaincy of RCB and Faf du Plessis has been appointed as the new skipper of the team. Kohli has been associated with RCB since the inaugural edition of 2008 and led the team from 2013 till 2021 but wasn’t able to make his team win the IPL trophy even once.

RCB will play its first match in the IPL 2022 on March 27 against Punjab Kings. Will the Bangalore franchise win its first ever IPL title this year? What do you think?

Jos Buttler’s Reaction To Chahal’s Tweet About Opening The Innings With Him Is Gold

The biggest cricket extravaganza of the cricket world, the IPL 2022 is going to start in almost a week’s time and the overseas players have also started joining their teams.

Jos Buttler, the English cricketer is one of those three players who were retained by the Rajasthan franchise ahead of the mega-auction for the IPL 2022 and recently he joined his team in Mumbai as well. However just after Jos Buttler arrived, he was asked to give his reaction on the one of the tweets made by Yuzvendra Chahal after he hacked the official Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals.

If you are unaware of what happened earlier, let us tell you that Yuzi and the admin of Rajasthan Royals got engaged in a tussle as the Indian spinner challenged the admin to hack RR’s official Twitter handle. Yuzi ultimately got the control of the account as he managed to get the password from the franchise’s CEO Jake Lush McCrum.

After that, Yuzi made many tweets including the one in which he declared himself as the skipper of RR and the one in which he posted his photo while batting and wrote that after getting 10K retweets, he will open the innings with Jos Buttler.

Jos Buttler was asked to give his reaction on the particular tweet and RR posted its video with the caption, “Jos bhai is here and his reaction is GOLD!”

Jos Buttler’s reaction was really a cool one and it also says all about the chances of Yuzvendra Chahal opening the innings with him, i.e., absolutely zero.

RR’s campaign in the IPL 2022 will begin on March 29 against Kane Williamson-led Sunrisrers Hyderabad. RR has won the IPL only once – in 2008, the year when it started under the leadership of the legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne who departed from the world.

Rajasthan Royals hasn’t been able to repeat its success since then but this time they should give exemplary performance and win the trophy for their first royal who bid goodbye to all of us in a sudden manner.

Sonu Nigam Reveals Why He Stopped Judging Hindi Singing Shows, “Tired Of Being Asked To Praise”

Hindi singing reality shows are pretty common nowadays and almost every channel has its own singing reality shows which are judged by famous singers and music composers. There was a time when Sonu Nigam, one of the most loved playback singers, used to be a regular face on the singing reality shows but nowadays he is missing from these Hindi shows and recently he revealed the reason behind it.

Sonu Nigam is presently judging the Bengali reality show Super Singer Season 3 with Kumar Sanu and Koushiki Chakraborty. While speaking in a virtual interaction with media, he states that he has chosen to judge this Bengali reality singing show because he has high expectations and he has refused to be a part of many Hindi singing reality shows because he is sick and tired to saying all those things again and again and he doesn’t like praising the contestants even if they have not performed well. He adds that now he neither looks forward to just earn money nor he wants to be a part of any show just for being a part of it.

Sonu Nigam who not only judged singing reality shows but also hosted them, for example – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, states that he is the grand daddy of such reality shows because 22 years ago, he hosted one when there were not many singing reality shows. He added that over the years he hosted and judged a number of singing reality shows and even today when a new singing reality show starts, he is approached for judging it but he is no more interested in being a part of such shows because he doesn’t like someone telling him how to behave and what to say because he belongs to the old school which is the purest in terms of life and music.

Earlier singer Amit Kumar, son of Kishore Kumar, also stated that when he appeared on Indian Idol 12 and he was also asked to appreciate the contestants even if their performance was not good.

There is no denying the fact that these music reality shows have lost their charm and authenticity.

What is your take in this regard? Let us know.

Chahal Hacks RR’s Twitter Account, Announces Himself New Captain In A Series Of Funny Tweets

The cricket fans especially Indians are pretty excited because the biggest franchise cricket event of the world, i.e., the Indian Premier League 2022 is going to start in a week’s time and the competition will be tougher this time as there are 10 teams which will compete for the trophy, not 8 like the earlier seasons.

Many surprising or rather shocking incidents took place in the mega-auction of the IPL 2022, for example Chennai Super Kings didn’t even bid for Suresh Raina who played for the franchise since the inaugural edition and eventually Raina went unsold. In a similar manner, fans were left surprised as Royal Challengers Bangalore also chose not to bid for the Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal who was a part of the team for many years and gave a number of match-winning performances.

However, the good thing for Chahal was that he didn’t go unsold as Rajasthan Royals purchased him for a price of Rs. 6.5 crore. Yuzi is known for his good sense of humour and the admin of RR’s official Twitter handle is also famous for hilarious and witty tweets because of which fans were expecting some online fun as well from both.

Recently, Yuzi challenged the RR admin that he would hack the official Twitter handle after a video was posted in which Chahal was seen ordering food for him and his wife:

Rajasthan Royals responded with a meme from the Anil Kapoor starrer movie “Nayak: The Real Hero” saying that whatever he is saying is good for debate and listening but in reality, it is not practical.

However, Yuzvendra Chahal got the control of RR’s Twitter handle as he managed to get the password from the CEO Jake Lush McCrum. He shared the information with the caption, “RR me Twitter account me in login kar Diya hai… bola tha admin job pange mat Lena” with laughing emojis.

After that, Yuzi announced himself as the new skipper of Rajasthan Royals:

Subsequently, Chahal posted a photo himself while batting and asked the followers to retweet his tweet 10K times after which he will open with Jos Buttler:

In another tweet, a video was posted in which Yuzi was shown on the Moon. It was captioned as, “Chaand par hai apun” with fire emoji.

Yuzi also sent a tweet to Ravichandran Ashwin, his teammate from the RR handle, “Where are you my love @ashwinravi99 no calls no texts koi or hai kya aapki life mein?” (Is someone else there in your life?)

Ashwin also responded to the tweet, “Thought I would just quietly blend in😂. I am here now”.

Later on, RR admin clarified that the account was hacked so the tweets and direct messages should be ignored.

Well that was quite fun, wasn’t it?
