Journo Asks If Jadeja Will Be Given Rest In 2nd Test To Manage Workload, Bumrah Has An Epic Reply

The Indian cricket team is leading in the 2-match test series by 1-0 against Sri Lanka and it will certainly like to win the series by attaining victory in the second test match which is being played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The second test match of the series is a day-night Pink ball test match and it is also India’s second Pink ball test match at home. India’s first Pink ball test match at home was played against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens in the year 2019 and it was the same test match in which Virat Kohli scored a century and since then, he has not scored a ton in any format of the game.

The Indian team registered a thumping victory of an innings and 222 runs in the first test match against Sri Lanka which was played at Mohali and it won’t be wrong to say that the Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja played a very important role in this triumph.

Ravindra Jadeja remained not-out at 175 runs and he also picked total 9 wickets in the match which includes his 10th fifer as well. Jadeja’s innings of 175 runs is now the highest score made by any Indian batsman at number 7 and with this, he has also become the first ever cricketer to score more than 150 runs and take 9 wickets.

Before the second test match, the pre-match press conference was attended by the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah and he gave a wonderful reply when a reporter asked him whether Jadeja would be given rest in the second test match in order to manage his workload. Bumrah laughs and says that he doesn’t think any player will like to sit out after such a superb performance, instead he would certainly like to repeat the performance and contribute more.

Ravindra Jadeja made a dream comeback with this test match as he was out of the squad since December because of the injury.

As far as the second test match is concerned, by the time this article was written, India scored 76/3 after winning the toss and decided to bat first. Virat Kohli (23) and Rishabh Pant (0) are on the crease and it is another good opportunity for the former Indian skipper to end his century drought.

“It’s Very Difficult For Me To Come,” David Warner Reveals Why He Didn’t Play In PSL2022

David Warner is undoubtedly one of the best batsmen of the present times and he has been in a tremendous form since ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in which he played an important role and helped his team win its first ever T20 World Cup trophy. He is also very popular in India as he used to lead the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad and it was under his leadership that SRH won its first title in the year 2016. However, he was released by the Hyderabad franchise ahead of the mega-auction for the IPL 2022 because of his poor performance in the last season. In the mega-auction, Delhi Capitals bought David Warner for a good amount of Rs. 6.25 crore.

Presently, the Australian cricketer is in Pakistan as the Australian cricket team is touring the Asian country almost after 24 years. The first test match between Australia and Pakistan which was played at Rawalpindi was very boring and it ended in a draw as the pitch was below average and it supported neither the pacers nor the spinners. In the five days of the game, only 14 wickets were taken and the cricket lovers slammed not only the pitch curator but the Pakistan Cricket Board also for this fiasco as it further decreases the interest of people in the purest form of the game.

The second test match is underway at Karachi and before the match, Warner attended a press conference in which he answered many questions including the one related to his absence in the Pakistan Super League 2022. David Warner said that it was very difficult for him to play in the PSL 2022 because at that time, he was playing international cricket for his country.

As far as the second test match is concerned, the visitors won the toss and chose to bat first. Till the time this article was written, Australia was 127/2 with Usman Khawaja (61*) and Steve Smith (24*) at the crease. David Warner got out for 36 runs for which he played 48 balls and his innings included 3 fours and 2 sixes.

The Indian cricket fans are hoping to see David Warner in the IPL 2022 which is starting on March 26 but he may miss the few beginning matches of the tournament as he may be attending Shane Warne’s state memorial service which will take place on March 30 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

From Salman To SRK To Esha Deol, 5 Bollywood Actors Who Slapped Other Celebrities In Public

Bollywood is one such industry which gives an impression that everything is just awesome inside it as the actors always try to put their best look forward but there are times when these actors also lose their cool and do things which nobody expects from them.

Here are five such incidents which prove that the A-list Bollywood actors also fight like common people and they too hold grudges against other people from their industry.

1. Govinda – Neeraj Vora

It’s an open secret that this industry always stands with those who are successful and once a superstar starts giving flops, he is ignored by the same productions which used to request him for dates. Something of this sort happened with Govinda, his friends in B-Town also ignored him once his flicks began getting flopped and then he had to work in lower level movies just to survive in the industry.

Govinda created a lot of controversy after he slapped an onlooker during the shooting of a film “Money Hai Toh Honey Hai”. However later on during the shooting of another movie, he slapped the director Neeraj Vora. It all happened because in a scene actor Aryan Vaid was required to slap Govinda but he mistimed and hit the “Hero No. 1” star pretty hard which made Govinda angry. Govinda pushed Aryan Vaid, went to Neeraj Vora and slapped him citing that he intentionally included such scenes to make a fun of him. However, both Govinda and Neeraj Vora denied any such incident.

2. Shah Rukh Khan – Shirish Kunder

This is known as one of the ugliest brawls of Bollywood which happened in a party organized by actor Sanjay Dutt. Earlier, Farah Khan’s director husband Shirish Kunder had taken a dig on Shah Rukh Khan’s flop movie “Ra.One” on Twitter which made SRK upset as Farah Khan is his close friend and Shah Rukh wouldn’t have expected this from her husband.

As per the eye witnesses, Shirish Kunder was following SRK all the time in the party but the superstar kept on avoiding him, in fact Shirish even followed SRK to the washroom. However when Sanjay Dutt was escorting SRK for meeting someone, Shirish came and said something in Shah Rukh’s ear which made him lose his cool completely and he pulled Shirish Kunder with his hair and slapped him. Things turned so ugly that Sanjay Dutt had to interfere in order to stop it.

3. Shah Rukh Khan – Salman Khan

The two superstars of Bollywood may have become friends again but there was a time when they were not on talking terms. Salman Khan was not happy with SRK for refusing to do a guest appearance in “Main Aur Mrs. Khanna”.

During Katrina Kaif’s birthday party, Salman made a sarcastic comment regarding it which did not go well with Shah Rukh and it resulted it one of the biggest fights of B-Town. However, things have been sorted out now and both the actors are doing cameos in movies of each other.

4. Esha Deol – Amrita Rao

Catfights are pretty normal in Bollywood and there have been many instances when two actresses haven’t talked to each other while working in the same movie but physical fights are pretty rare. In an old interview, actress Esha Deol accepted that during the shooting of “Pyare Mohan” in the year 2006, she slapped Amrita Rao because one evening after the pack-up, the “Ishq Vishk” actress abused her in front of her director and other crew members.

Esha said that in order to protect her dignity, she slapped Amrita and she doesn’t have any regrets about it. However, things didn’t turn ugly as Amrita Rao soon apologized to Esha Deol and the matter got sorted out.

5. Salman Khan – Subhash Ghai

Almost two decades ago, this big fight took place and Salman Khan himself revealed it in an interview. It is known to everyone that Salman has faced problems because of his anger issues but when he was asked about hitting his ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he said that he hurt himself only by banging his head on wall but he never hit anyone except Subhash Ghai and he apologized to him the next day.

Salman further stated that he was hit by spoon, that person almost broke a plate on his face, peed on his shoes and also grabbed him by neck. In response, Salman slapped Subhash Ghai but after Salman’s father Salim Khan came to know about it, he sent Salman to apologize to Ghai the very next day.

Do you know about any other big fight of Bollywood? Share with us.

“Are South Indian Films A Competition To Hindi Cinema?” Akshay Kumar Answers

The Indian film industry especially Bollywood is going through a massive change as audiences are falling in love with the dubbed versions of southern language movies and success of the “Baahubali” franchise and “Pushpa: The Rise” is enough to prove this statement to be completely true. The popularity of the southern actors is also increasing at a very high rate and many experts feel that it is an alarming sign for the Bollywood actors.

It is an open secret that many Bollywood movies are either inspired or copied from the southern flicks and nowadays some Bollywood filmmakers prefer to make the remake of a southern hit movie rather than making efforts in writing or finding a good story. Many movie experts are of the opinion that the Bollywood makers should now seriously work on their creative skills because if the southern flicks will get so popular among the Hindi audiences, who will like to see the remakes of those movies.

The Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is currently very busy in promoting his upcoming film “Bachchan Pandey” in which he is playing the lead role and the flick also stars Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pankaj Tripathi in important roles. During a promotional event when Akshay Kumar was asked about the increasing competition from southern language movies and southern actors, he stated that it is wrong to take it as a competition; it should be taken as collaboration.

The Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood further says that all of us want to make big movies in order to come on the silver screen and earn huge money so it should be taken as collaboration rather than competition. He adds that this collaboration should continue further with Hollywood, French movie industry and artists, etc. and it should increase further.

“Bachchan Pandey” which is directed by Farhad Samji is releasing on March 18 and its trailer has already received much praise and love from movie buffs.

Do you agree with the views of Akshay Kumar? Let us know.

“History Suggests It’s A Spirit Of Cricket Thing,” Says David Warner On Legalizing Mankading

Some amendments have been made in the Marylebone Cricket Club Code of Laws recently and there is no doubt that it will change the game of cricket to some extent. One of the most important changes that have been made is that mankading is no more unfair and now it will be considered as a form of run-out. Mankading is a term used for the dismissal which takes place when a non-striker batsman is backing too much even before the bowler has thrown the ball and the bails are removed by the bowler.

While the majority of the cricket world welcomed the change in laws, there were few who were not happy with it. The Australian cricketer David Warner who is presently in Pakistan as the Australian squad is on the tour to Pak has opened up in this regard and he feels that mankading may now be considered as just another form of dismissal but it may bring up debate on the spirit of cricket.

David Warner states that if we look at the history of the game, it is related to spirit of cricket and players are not expected to do it. However, he also adds that he feels it is fair on the part of the bowler if the batsman is backing too much or he is out of the crease by a long way.

Ravichandran Ashwin brought a storm in the cricket world after he mankaded Rajasthan Royals batsman Jos Buttler in an IPL match which was played between Punjab Kings (earlier Kings XI Punjab) and RR. While the majority slammed Ashwin for his act, some others supported him too.

Talking about the batsmen who leave the crease before the ball is bowled, David Warner says it mostly happens in ODIs and T20Is but at the end of the day, the batsman needs to stay in the crease till the ball is bowled and if he is dismissed because of this, it is quite silly on his part to get out like that and he has no one else to blame other than himself for it. David Warner adds that the batsmen at non-striker end are told not to leave the crease until the ball is bowled and they should listen to it.

What is your take on the new changes? Do let us know.

Remember Sanjay Dutt’s Roommate Swami From Munna Bhai MBBS? Here’s How He Looks Like Now

Sanjay Dutt starrer and Raj Kumar Hirani directed “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.” which got released in the year 2003 is one of the all time favorites of every movie lover. The flick was a big hit on the box-office and the best part was that it can be watched by whole family sitting together as it doesn’t have any intimate scene or abusive language.

While audiences loved the performances of lead actors such as Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Gracy Singh, Boman Irani, etc., there were some actors who played small roles in the film but they made a big impact. One such character was Swami, the hostel roommate of Sanjay Dutt! Yes, you guessed it right, the same guy who asked about the process of changing the room!

That character was played by Khurshed Lawyer and he was praised a lot for his acting as Swami. He was a part of many other movies as well, such as “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani”, “Double Dhamaal”, “Pyare Mohan”, “Buddha Mar Gaya”, etc. but for a long time he was missing from the big screen.

Khurshed Lawyer has made a comeback after a gap of four years and this time he is seen in a web series, The Great Indian Murder which is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The young and shy guy from “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.” has changed a lot as far as his appearance is concerned and this is how he looks like now:

In the series entitled The Great Indian Murder, Khurshed Lawyer has played the role of a psychiatrist Dr. Dewan. Lawyer states that this role is a serious one and very different from the characters he has played till now. He adds that this web series is certainly the best way to make a comeback as it is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and he has also got the chance to work with some great actors including Raghuvir Yadav.

We will certainly like to see more of Khurshed Lawyer, won’t we?
