“Virat Feels ‘It’s Only Me. I Am King Of This Place’,” Says Kohli’s Ex Teammates On His Aggression

The former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has earned the reputation of being the greatest of all times due to his cricketing skills and insatiable hunger to score runs because of which he has broken many records. He is also a fitness freak who has inspired many youngsters along with his fellow cricketers and as a result, the present day cricketers are very fit in comparison to the cricketers of yesteryears.

However, Kohli’s aggression on the field has sometimes attracted criticism from the former players but still nobody can deny the fact that he is the most successful test skipper of India who has left behind the greats like Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni. King Kohli, as his fans call him, was the force behind creating a formidable unit which remained number one in the ICC test rankings for straight five years, something which is definitely very difficult to achieve.

Recently Pradeep Sangwan and Tanmay Srivastava, the two teammates of Virat Kohli from the Under-19 team, narrated their experience of playing with Virat and stated that his never-ending passion for cricket has made him stand apart from all others.

Pradeep Sangwan wrote in a column for a leading daily that they were sure Virat Kohli would one day play for the country because he used to score a lot of runs especially against the good teams because his thinking was that if he scored runs against good teams, people would notice him, talk about him and his chances of getting picked for the national team would increase further. Sangwan further adds that Kohli never gives up when he is on the field, in fact he feels that it’s just he who has to do the job for making his team win and when he is in the dressing room, he crack jokes and passes comments in order to keep the environment of the dressing room light and cordial.

Talking about Virat Kohli’s aggression, Tanmay Srivastava said that Kohli was different from the very beginning and he was always ready to take on anyone on the field. Srivastava said that Kohli was aggressive but people used to think that he had attitude issues; however when he began performing at the international level, his attitude turned into aggression for the same people and whenever he was not able to perform, they started raising fingers at him.

There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is different from others and he may not have won ICC trophies during his tenure of captaincy but that doesn’t make his achievements any less.

Boney Kapoor Calls Bollywood McD Or KFC & South Movies Indian Thali, Reveals Which Is Better

The Indian film industry comprises of Bollywood, southern movie industry and other regional movie industries but if we talk about the viewership, Hindi and southern films (Tamil, Telugu and Kannada) have a large base while others are limited to their states.

Thanks to social media platforms and also to the huge number of news channels and magazines, we get to know each and every detail of the film industry. Nowadays, makers of the Hindi movies make announcements before making the remake of a southern movie but it doesn’t mean that it did not used to happen earlier as in the older times also, remakes of southern movies were made in Hindi. The success of the “Baahubali” series, “Pushpa: The Rise”, etc. has made it clear to the Bollywood filmmakers that Hindi viewers have no problem in watching the dubbed version of southern flicks so it is better to make good movies if they want to survive in the industry.

Recently, the famous film producer Boney Kapoor gave an interview in which he compared movies of both the industries and in his opinion, while the Bollywood moviemakers are serving like KFC, McDonalds, Pizza, etc., the south Indian movies are like Indian thali. He elaborates further by saying that the Indian audiences feel more connected to southern movies because it has something for everyone just like in thali, we get dal, rice, roti, chicken, etc. Boney Kapoor is of the opinion that southern movies are more Indianized but at one fell swoop, he also adds that southern flicks are very successful in northern India because they are a mix of everything and audiences feel connected to them easily in comparison to Bollywood films.

The producer further says that the content of southern movies suits everyone and it is not just about any niche or selected audience. He goes on to state that southern films especially the Tamil and Telugu ones have emotion, action, romance, dance, comedy, etc. and the overall packaging of their movies is also pretty good. Boney Kapoor further says that the Indian viewers will largely prefer the movies that are more Indian.

He gives an example from Salman Khan starrer “Wanted” which is also remake of a southern movie. The flick is directed by Prabhu Deva and Boney says that during an action sequence in which Salman Khan is hitting around 16 people, he goes to Prabhu Deva and Vijayan, the action director and asks them how it is possible that he is hitting 16 people and he is not even sweating, leave aside getting hurt.

In reply, Prabhu Deva says that their heroes don’t sweat or get hurt because they are heroes. Boney adds that the southern movie industry is getting richer in regard to content as well and if we compare both the industries, there are only 2-3 successful producers in Bollywood but the amount of money that they would have earned will be very less in comparison to southern movie producers.

Times Now Host’s Goof-Up Of Scolding Wrong Panelist On Live Debate Floods Twitter With Memes

The Russia-Ukraine conflict has been making headlines all over the world and all the news channels are making their best efforts to cover and discuss the situation created due to this war. The Indian news channels are also leaving no stone unturned in covering the situation and they are also conducting debates on various issues related to it by calling guests on the shows.

As this is international news, many channels are inviting foreign guests as well for expressing their views on the situation and recently something very funny has happened on an Indian English news channel which has resulted in a meme fest on the micro-blogging site Twitter. This is not the first time that a goof-up has taken place on an Indian news channel but this one can easily be called one of the most hilarious goof-ups of all times.

The Times Now anchor Rahul Shivshankar is not new to trolling; this time he was carrying out a debate on Ukraine-Russia war and his guest panel also had Daniel McAdams, executive director of Ron Paul Institute, and Bohdan Nahaylo, chief editor of Kyiv Post along with other guests. In the midst of the debate, Bohdan Nahaylo started speaking in a very high pitch and the mistake that Shivshankar made was that he mistook Bohdan Nahaylo for Daniel McAdams. Shivshankar kept on addressing Bohdon Nahaylo as Mr. McAdams and asked him to take a chill pill. While asking him to relax, he also scolded him and yelled at him during the debate.

After a minute or so, Daniel McAdams interrupted in between and asked Shivshankar why he was insulting him continuously and asking him to shut up despite the fact that he had not spoken a word till then. When Rahul Shivshankar said that he was talking to Mr. McAdams, Daniel made Shivshankar realize that he was making a mistake as he was Mr. McAdams. The names of the individuals were shown incorrectly in the visual which led to this big goof-up.
