Virat Kohli Breaks Silence For First Time After Quitting Captaincy, Cites Dhoni’s Example

The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli left everyone in a shocked state when he announced his decision of giving up test captaincy after India lost the 3-match test series to South Africa by 2-1 as he is the most successful test captain India has ever had. The Indian cricket team played 68 test matches under Kohli’s leadership and won 40 out of them. Not just this, it was under Virat’s captaincy that India achieved the number one rank in the ICC test rankings in October 2016 and retained that position till March 2020 (42 months) which is certainly a very big achievement to his name.

The Indian squad also won many test series both at home and away under Virat Kohli’s leadership and he also took India in the finals of the World Test Championship 2020-21, though India lost the finals to Kane Williamson led New Zealand. Virat Kohli had also given up his T20 captaincy after the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 and after that, Rohit Sharma replaced him as the ODI skipper.

Recently during an interview, Virat Kohli talked about his captaincy saga for the first time. He stated that a person should have complete understanding of what the target is for which he has been given the responsibility and whether you have achieved that target or not. There is a time frame for everything and a person should know about that and if you are able to contribute more as a batsman, you should be proud of that.

Virat Kohli gives a reference of the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni when he says that it is not necessary to be the captain of the team to be a leader. He added that it was not like that MS Dhoni was not a leader when he was in the team because everyone wanted to take advice from him. He also says that winning or losing is not in our hands but striving for excellence and becoming better by each day is something that we can do.

Talking about his role in the team which has changed in the recent times, the former Indian skipper says that he will have to accept the new roles and the new chances that he will get. He said that he used to think like a captain even when MS Dhoni was the skipper or when he was just a player in the team.

The Indian cricket fans are quite unhappy with Virat Kohli quitting captaincy but as many former cricketers have said that even if we did not like the decision, we should respect it.

Twitter Sparks With A Hilarious Meme Fest As Nirmala Sitharaman Presents Union Budget 2022-23

Every year people eagerly wait for budget in order to see whether the government will give them any benefits by starting a new scheme or making changes in the existing one or not. This is that day of the year when you will get to hear only about budget on news channels and how it will be beneficial or non-beneficial for various sections of the society. Every news channel will have at least one economist in their panel of guests who will use jargons to state his opinion about budget in order to tell what he feels about it.

Many businessmen will also took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and tell whether this budget will be good for the industry and economy, though, most of them will try to give a balanced view as no businessman wants to get listed in the bad books of the government. As far as the politicians are concerned, the members of the ruling party will call it a revolutionary or the future-oriented budget of the poor while the opposition will call it a budget against the poor/farmers/weaker sections of the society, etc.

Now let’s talk about the major segment of the Indian population – the middle class, the common people or mango people as the young generation likes to call. The middle class is mostly concerned about what is getting cheaper or what is getting costlier along with the tax slabs and they are not much concerned about the other aspects of budget.

Today, the Indian finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the Union Budget 2022-23 starting 11 am and the social media users have flooded the platforms with budget memes.

Here are some of the selected memes:

Dhoni’s Comments From 2017 Turn Out To Be True As KL Rahul Is Unavailable For INDvsWI 1st ODI

The Indian cricket team had a pretty disappointing tour of South Africa as they lost both test series and ODI series by 2-1 and 3-0, respectively. However, now the Indian side will certainly look forward to perform well against the West Indies team which will be touring India in February.

Rohit Sharma will be back for leading the squad after missing the complete series of South Africa due to injury and KL Rahul who led the team in ODIs against South Africa in Hitman’s absence will be assisting him as a deputy but he won’t be available in the first ODI and in KL Rahul’s absence, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named Rishabh Pant as vice-captain for the first ODI.

While Rohit Sharma has the best chance to get the captaincy of the test team after Virat Kohli gave up the captaincy due to India’s poor performance in test matches, the former Indian cricketers and cricketing experts are of the opinion that Rishabh Pant should be groomed for the post of captain as Rohit Sharma will be 35 yrs old in April and won’t be able to lead India for a long period.

Amidst all this, an old video of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is going viral in which he stated that a wicketkeeper is the vice-captain of the team irrespective of the fact that whether he has been announced officially or not because the responsibility of setting the field is mostly on the wicketkeeper or the vice-captain and he has to make sure that the field is set as per the directions of the skipper.

Here is the video:

Many former cricketers are also of the opinion that 24 years old Rishabh Pant should be preferred over KL Rahul because the former’s track record in the IPL as a skipper has been better than the latter’s record. Rahul also had a disastrous run in South Africa as he led the team in the 3-match ODI series and India lost the series by 3-0.

KL Rahul was the skipper of the Punjab franchise in the IPL but he was not able to make much impact as a skipper while on the other hand, Rishabh Pant was quite successful in terms of captaincy as he took his team to play-offs in the IPL 2021.

Who do you think will be a better skipper – KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant? Let us know your choice.

A Step Towards Green Environment: Solar Tubular Battery

Integrated has released its solar flooded tubular batteries, which are meant to provide renewable energy users with stable, consistent, and low-maintenance electricity. In rural and power-deficient areas, these batteries may be subjected to deep cycle applications and need minimal maintenance. The Solar Tubular Battery is capable of operating in a partial state of charge (PSOC). These batteries are available in 12 volts and range in capacity from 20 ah to 150 ah.

Solar Tubular Battery Features

  • Solar Tubular Batteries are manufactured of PPCP (Polypropylene Co-Polymer) containers, which are both durable and attractive.
  • High-pressure Die Casting (HADI) machines generate defect-free positive spine grids with fine grain structures. As a result, the product has high corrosion resistance and long service life.
  • Even under adverse environmental circumstances, Solar LMLA Batteries have a substantial acid reservoir, reducing the requirement for water top-up.
  • Low antimony alloy lessens the frequency of topping up by minimizing water loss.
  • Tubular plates with high tensile strength for long cycle life (1500 cycle at 80 percent DOB and 5000 cycles at 20 percent DOD).
  • At 27c, there is a low rate of self-discharge of less than 3% each month.
  • Deep Cycling capabilities, as well as the ability to tolerate partial stage of charge operation (PSOC).

Tall Tubular Solar Battery

The most successful, oldest, and most dependable solar battery technology is a lead-acid tall tubular battery. It’s nothing more than a more advanced version of standard batteries that may be utilized with solar at home and elsewhere. Solar Tubular Battery is deep cycle solar batteries that have been thoroughly tested and can be used for decades in off-grid solar systems, hybrid solar systems, solar house lighting systems, and solar street lights.

These solar batteries have been specifically designed to meet the needs of solar applications. Tall tubular solar batteries have a C-10 rating and are capable of slow charging. These batteries must be charged at a low ampere for solar applications. A lead-acid tall tubular solar battery has to be recharged every 3 to 6 months with water and can store more energy than any other battery.

Tubular Batteries are low-maintenance batteries with positive tubular plates that are well-known for their outstanding power backup for extended periods. It has imported 8mm tubular gauntlets from Germany, which produce excellent results by maintaining a reasonable gap between active materials and electrolytes, ensuring stable performance, and reducing the speed of antimony release from the positive grid, resulting in longer periods of power backup and battery service life.

Tubular Batteries are also unique in that they contain 30% more electrolyte, which acts as a coolant, controls the rising temperature of the battery, and, in the presence of a carbon canister fitted in the water level indicator, reverts water out of the battery due to vaporization, resulting in ultra-low maintenance.

Tubular Batteries have specifically designed active materials that provide maximum power output when needed for a much longer amount of time than regular deep cycle batteries. As a result, it’s an excellent solution for home inverter and solar systems, especially in areas with frequent power outages.

Vikas is quite active on social media sites and keeps on posting pics on these platforms regularly because of which he has become popular among netizens, especially those who aspire to work as a civil servant.

Vikas Prakash Singh shared the images of his marriage with the caption, “Got married to the Love of my life, on Sunday the 23rd.”

While the majority of followers congratulated him for starting the new phase of his life, there was one guy who asked a pretty weird question, “How many crore dowry?”

At such a question, anybody would have got miffed and lost his cool but the response given by the IRS officer was certainly a great one as he told the hater that when he will get married, he will understand that getting the wife is a big thing in love marriage, leave aside dowry.

Vikas Prakash Singh’s reply read, “Jab karoge tab samajh aayega ki Love Marriage mein biwi milna hee badi baat hai”.

Another online user asked him whether he fell in love first or made his career and in response, Vikas stated that he tried it parallel but he also added a disclaimer that it is not a piece of advice and he should try it at his own risk.
