In the modern day world, we have become so much habitual of judging a person on the basis of his dressing style, looks or profession that we have completely forgotten that these materialistic aspects are not the true parameters of judging an individual or his capability.

Recently, a farmer and his friends visited a car showroom in Tumakuru, Karnataka, for the purpose of buying a new SUV (sport-utility vehicle) but the sales staff was so rude that leave aside attending them properly, the sales staff insulted the farmer and his friends by saying that he looked very poor for buying a car. As per a report published in a leading daily, the sales staff told the farmer that he would not even have Rs. 10 in his pocket, leave aside Rs. 10 lakh for buying the car.

The name of the farmer is Kempegowda RL and he got so infuriated with the behaviour of the sales staff of the showroom that he challenged them to return with Rs. 10 lakh and take the delivery of the vehicle the same day. Kempegowda told the leading daily that he thought it would be difficult for him to arrange Rs. 10 lakh because banks were closed as it was a government holiday.

However, Kempegowda RL who is basically from Chikkasandra hobli, Karnataka somehow managed to arrange Rs. 10 lakh and shocked the sales staff by returning to the showroom and demanding that the delivery of the vehicle should be made the same day. The sales staff was on the backfoot and they told Kempegowda that they are not in a position to deliver the car the same day as it was bank holiday. This made the Karnataka farmer very aggravated and he called the police.

Kempegowda and his friends were not in the mood to leave the showroom but it was after police officials convinced them, they went to their homes. Well, now Kempegowda is left with no interest in buying the vehicle and he wants the showroom staff and authorities to apologise to him and his friends in written.

The matter has been covered by news channel as well and the incident has supposedly taken place in a Mahindra showroom.

As they say ‘Never Judge A Book By Its Cover’, the sales staff must have learnt this lesson now.

The name of the character was Rohan and people also lovingly called him Laddoo because he was quite chubby. The acting performance of Shah Rukh Khan’s younger brother was loved by the audiences and some even went aww over his cuteness.

The actress who made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan starrer “Dabangg” thought of conducting an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Instagram and she talked on various topics as per the response that she got from her followers.

Sonakshi shared a photo of herself and told her fans that she has watched the Marvel movies again in a chronological order and asked what they are upto this weekend. She wrote, “Literally been on this couch all weekend and re-watched the Marvel movies in chronological order. What did you get up to this weekend?”

She got different types of answers such as someone told about trying to recover from COVID-19 while some other person was making attempts to cope with anxiety, etc.

There was one person who asked Sonakshi what she is doing and in response she shared the photo of her TV set and wrote currently on movie 5 and next is Thor.

However, the question that got the most attention was from a follower who asked Sonakshi when she will get married as everyone is getting married nowadays. In response, she shared two glimpses of herself; in one pic, she was smiling and in the second, one she was frowning. As for her response, she writes that everyone is getting COVID-19 and questions whether she should get that too.

The recently concluded South African tour of the Indian cricket team was a pretty disappointing one as India not only lost the 3-match test series by 2-1 but also suffered a humiliating series defeat in the 3-match ODI series as the host whitewashed them by 3-0.

After losing the third and the final ODI of the series, the Indian head coach Rahul Dravid interacted with the mediapersons and during the press conference he was pretty honest in assessing the reasons behind the defeat of the Indian cricket squad. Rahul Dravid accepts that the middle order is a big concern and they also missed the presence of a good finisher in the team.

Dravid adds that they certainly understand the template but a major part of the template also depends on the balance of the squad which is lacking in the present Indian side as the players who gave all-round choices and used to play at 6,7 and 8 positions are not available for selection due to injuries. Though Rahul Dravid didn’t take any name, it was quite certain that he was talking about Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya who were not a part of this Indian squad. Rahul Dravid hopes that these players will be back soon and it will not only provide the team with depth but will give them freedom to play with different style.

It was observed in the ODI series that team India lost the plot mostly in the middle overs and the South African spinners dominated the Indian batters. When an Indian partnership was broken, it was seen that India lost wickets in clusters because of which the Indian team faced problems and suffered defeats. Rahul Dravid agreed that the Indian squad could have done better in the middle overs. He added that in the two matches, the Proteas batted first and scored around 290 runs and if he looked back at the 30^th over of these two matches, he felt that India should have won the match but we lost because the batters played poor cricketing shots and didn’t play in a smart manner when the team needed it in critical situations.

The famous celebrity couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma has time and again requested everyone especially the media houses not to publish and circulate the photos of their daughter Vamika but in the ODI match played yesterday, people got ample chance to see their daughter and soon afterwards her photos got circulated on the social media networks.

In the third and the final ODI of the 3-match ODI series played against South Africa, the broadcasters revealed Vamika’s face during the live telecast of the match which was played at Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town. Anushka was seen holding Vamika in her hands and cheering for Virat Kohli who scored a brilliant half-century. However despite that, India lost the match and South Africa made a clean sweep in the series by winning it by 3-0.

Soon Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram story and made a post in which she stated that she was caught off-guard but their (Virushka’s) previous request of not publishing their daughter’s photo remains the same.

She wrote,

“Hey guys! We realise that our daughter’s images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/ published for reasons we have explained earlier. Thank you!”

The same text was posted by Virat Kohli as well on his Instagram story. Virat celebrated his fifty in a special style and dedicated it to his daughter.

As far as the match is concerned, the toss was won by the visitors and they chose to bowl first. The hosts put up a good show as South Africa managed to put up a total of 287 runs with one ball remaining in their innings with the help of the century scored by opener Quinton de Kock (124 runs, 130 balls, 12 fours & 2 sixes) and Rassie van der Dussen (52runs, 59 balls, 4 fours & 1 six) plus David Miller (39 runs, 38 balls, 3 fours & 1 six) also played pretty useful knocks.

In response, the Indian side had a bad start as they lost their skipper KL Rahul early on the personal score of 9 but Shikhar Dhawan (61 runs, 73 balls, 5 fours, 1 six) and Virat Kohli (65 runs, 84 balls, 5 fours) stabilized the innings. Nevertheless, team India struggled after these two got out as Rishabh Pant fell for a duck and Shreyas Iyer also got out early at the score of 26. Though Suryakumar Yadav (39 runs, 32 balls, 4 fours & 1 six) and Deepak Chahar (54 runs, 34 balls, 5 fours & 2 sixes) tried their best to make their team win the match, the Indian squad got all out for 283 runs in 49.2 overs.

The South African tour was pretty disappointing for the Indian cricket team as first it lost the 3-match test series by 2-1 and now it has lost the 3-match ODI series by 3-0.

Their feelings for each other grew and they decided to get married but Raj Singh’s father Maharawal Lakshman Singhji was against this wedding as Lata Mangeshkar was a commoner and Maharawal Lakshman Singhji wanted that his son should marry someone from a royal family.

Raj Singh respected his father’s decision and decided not to marry Lata Mangeshkar who also agreed to remain friends for life with Raj Singh. Maharaja Raj Singh also took the decision of not marrying someone else and he remained single till the time he took his last breath in the year 2009.

Lata Mangeshkar is 92 yrs old now and after getting COVID-19 positive, she was admitted in hospital on 8^th January. It is being said that there is improvement in her health and we pray for her speedy recovery.
