Karan Johar directed “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in lead roles was one of the biggest hits of its time and the role which was played by Rani Mukerji was initially offered to Aishwarya but she declined it as she was busy with a Tamil movie “Jeans” at that time.

3. Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000)

Hrithik Roshan’s debut film which went on become a blockbuster and also won huge number of awards (92) was first offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan; nevertheless, she refused and eventually Ameesha Patel grabbed the opportunity and the rest is history.

4. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001)

Aishwarya was first offered to play the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan but she rejected and then the role was offered to Kajol.

5. Munna Bhai MBBS (2003)

Rajkumar Hirani directed movie went on to become one of the biggest hits because of its unique storyline and Hirani wanted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the female lead opposite Sanjay Dutt. However, Aish chose to give it a miss due to Sanjay Dutt’s rough phase and the role then went to Gracy Singh.

6. Chalte Chalte (2003)

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had shot some portion of Shah Rukh Khan starrer flick but she was replaced by Rani Mukerji after Salman Khan visited the sets of the film in a drunken state and created problems over there.

7. Troy (2004)

Aishwarya has worked in quite a few international projects and she was also offered a role opposite Brad Pitt in “Troy” but she refused due to hesitancy in doing intimate scenes and later on, Rose Byrne played that character.

8. Bluffmaster! (2005)

Rohan Sippy wanted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the female lead opposite Abhishek Bachchan who played the role of a conman in the movie but Aishwarya refused and once again Priyanka Chopra grabbed the opportunity. The flick not only performed well on the box-office but was also praised by the critics.

9. Krrish (2006)

Aishwarya also rejected this Hrithik Roshan starrer superhero film and Priyanka Chopra was then roped in.

10. Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007)

There is no denying the fact that Vidya Balan did a great job as Monjulika but very few people know that earlier this role was offered to Aishwarya and she rejected it.

11. Dostana (2008)

The movie was initially supposed to be made with Abhishek, Aishwarya and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles but the beauty queen moved out as she was not much interested in working with her hubby and also because the focus was more on two guys. Saif also walked out of the film and then Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham were signed by the makers.

12. Bajirao Mastani (2015)

Sanjay Leela Bhansali had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan in his mind while working on the project of “Bajirao Mastani” after the huge success of 1999 released “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” but things didn’t work out at that time. Afterwards, Aishwarya refused to be a part of the film as she was not willing to work with Salman and it was then that the movie was made with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

Quite a few strange incidents have taken place in cricket till now but one bizarre incident that took place in a match which was played under Bangladesh Premier League between Minister Group Dhaka and Khulna Tigers has left everyone shocked and surprised. The match was played at Mirpur and the West Indian cricketer Andre Russell who is playing for Minister Group Dhaka played a ball of Thisara Perara towards the third man which was fielded by Mahedi Hasan.

Mahedi Hasan threw the ball towards the striker’s end and it was a direct hit at the stumps. However the ball then ricocheted off the stumps and hit the stumps at the non-striker’s end. The decision went to the third umpire as Khulna Tigers appealed for both the run-outs, it was found that Mahmudullah who was at the striker’s end was safe but Andre Russell who was at the non-striker’s end was out of the crease and hence the West Indian cricketer became a victim of one of the most bizarre dismissals in the history of cricket.

As far as the game between Indian Maharajas and World Giants is concerned, the match was played at Al Amerat Cricket Ground and World Giants chose to bowl first after winning the toss. Mohammad Kaif led Indian Maharajas had a bad start as they lost their opener Wasim Jaffer and number three batsman S Badrinath (0) quickly. However, another opener Naman Ojha played a destructive innings of 140 runs (15 fours, 9 sixes) for which he played only 69 balls and he was well supported by the skipper Mohammad Kaif who scored 53 not out and helped their team in scoring the total of 209/3.

In response, World Giants scored 210/7 with the help of Kevin Pietersen’s brilliant innings of 53 and useful knocks of skipper Daren Sammy (28), Brad Haddin (21) and Morne Morkel (21). But the highlight of the innings of World Giants was Imran Tahir’s smashing knock of 52 for which he played only 19 deliveries.

The current Indian cricketers may have been facing defeats in South Africa as they have lost the first two matches of 3-match ODI series but the former Indian cricketers are putting up a great show in the inaugural edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC). In the first match played at Al Amerat between Indian Maharajas and Asia Lions, the former emerged as winners after former Indian cricketers Yusuf Pathan and Mohammad Kaif batted superbly and helped their team in chasing the target of 176.

Indian Maharajas which is being led by Mohammad Kaif won the toss and chose to bowl first. Batting first, Asia Lions put up a total of 175/7 on the scoreboard in their stipulated 20 overs with the help of useful knocks played by Upul Tharanga (66) and skipper Misbah-ul-Haq (44). For Indian Maharajas, Manpreet Gony took 3 wickets, Irfan Pathan took 2 wickets and 1-1 wicket each was taken by Munaf Patel and Stuart Binny.

Indian Maharajas didn’t have a good start as there was a time when they were struggling at the score of 34/3 but the skipper Mohammad Kaif played a rock steady innings of 42 runs not out and he was well supported by Yusuf Pathan whose innings was the highlight of the match. Yusuf Pathan played a destructive innings of 80 runs for which he played 40 deliveries and his inning included 9 fours and 5 sixes. Irfan Pathan also chipped in with a quick knock of 21 runs for which he played only 10 deliveries. Indian Maharajas scored 179/4 with 5 balls remaining in their innings and won the match by 6 wickets.

After winning the match, Mohammad Kaif took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a photo of himself with Yusuf Pathan. Kaif gives a shout out to the IPL teams, telling them that they are ready for the IPL 2022 auction and the offer of getting one free for another is also on.
