Anushka Shares Heartfelt Post Recalling Virat Kohli’s Journey As He Quits Test Captaincy

Virat Kohli is certainly one of the best cricketers of the world and he is admired by not only Indian cricket fans but also cricket lovers from other countries as well. So it was quite obvious that there was a huge uproar when he resigned from the post of India’s test captain after the Indian squad lost the third and final test match against South Africa and also lost the series by 2-1. Virat Kohli was also slammed by some former cricketers because of his rash behavior which he exhibited after the South African skipper Dean Elgar was given not out post DRS review.

Virat Kohli is undoubtedly the most successful test skipper of India as the Indian team has played 68 test matches under his leadership and has won 40 out of them.

A day after Virat Kohli gave up his captaincy, his wife Anushka Sharma took to Instagram and wrote an emotional post for her husband. She talked about Virat’s journey as a skipper and stated that she is proud of the growth that she has seen in him and also of the achievements that he and his team have made under his leadership. Anushka posted two photos with the post, in the first photo, Virat is seen laughing while in the second one, Anushka is seen kissing Virat on his cheek.

“Remember the day in 2014 when you told me that you have been made the captain as MS had decided to retire from test cricket.

I remember MS, you & I having a chat later that day & him joking about how quickly your beard will start turning grey. We all had a good laugh about it. Since that day, I’ve seen more than just your beard turning grey. I’ve seen growth. Immense growth. Around you & within you. And yes, I am very proud of your growth as the captain of the Indian National Cricket team & what achievements the team had under your leadership. But I’m more proud of the growth you achieved within you.

In 2014 we were so young & naive. Thinking that just good intentions, positive drive & motives can take you ahead in life. They definitely do but, not without challenges. A lot of these challenges that you faced were not always on the field. But then, this is life right? It tests you in places where you least expect it to but where you need it the most. And my love, I am so proud of you for not letting anything come in the way of your good intentions. You led by example & gave winning on field every ounce of your energy to the extent that after some losses I’ve sat next to you with tears in your eyes, while you wondered if there’s still something more you could have done. This is who you are & this is what you expected from everyone. You’ve been unconventional & straightforward. Pretence is your foe & this is what makes you great in my eyes & the eyes of your admirers. Because underneath all this were your pure, unadulterated intentions always. And not everyone will be able to truly understand that. Like I’ve said, truly blessed are those who tried to get to know you beneath what meets the eye. You are not perfect & have your flaws but then again when did you ever try to conceal that? What you did was to always stand up for doing the right thing, the harder thing, always! You held on to nothing with greed, not even this position & I know that. Because when one holds on to something so tightly they limit themselves & you, my love, are limitless. Our daughter will see the learning of these 7 years in the father that you are to her. You did good.”

Urvashi Rautela Gave A Kickass Response To Troller Who Pulled Her Leg Over Rishabh Pant’s Ton

Urvashi Rautela, the young actress, is one of the hottest and the boldest beauties of the Indian film industry and she has certainly made a big name for herself within a short period. However, there was one follower who tried to troll the actress by referring to the Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant in his comment.

Earlier, there was news of Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant seeing each other but they never accepted it and it is being said that later on, Rishabh blocked Urvashi on social media as he did not want to take things forward.

The online user commented, “Pant ka 100 dekha ki nahi kal” with laughing emoji.

The online user was referring to the century scored by Rishabh Pant in the second innings of the third and final test match against South Africa which India lost. The Indian squad also lost the 3-match test series by 2-1 after defeat in the final test match.

Urvashi Rautela responded with, “Oh! U mean (pant emoji) ya I’ve seen that cuz everyone wears it. Also Rs 100 I’ve seen inside it”.

Kirron Kher Scolds IGT’s Co-Judges Badshah, Shilpa Shetty & Manoj, Calls Them ‘Badly Behaved’

The talent reality show India’s Got Talent is back on the television and fans of Malaika Arora and Karan Johar will certainly miss them on the show as they have been replaced by Shilpa Shetty, Badshah and Manoj Muntashir. The veteran actress-politician Kirron Kher who has been judging India’s Got Talent since the first season is still on the show as the judge and in the first episode of the show, she will be seen scolding the first time judges by calling them badly behaved.

Shilpa Shetty, Badshah and Manoj Muntashir were pretty happy seeing their names written in large letters above the stage and started shouting in excitement because of which Kirron Kher called all of the badly behaved. When Shilpa Shetty said that it is their first day on the show, Kirron said that none of the previous judges did that. Mumbai Police Uses 3 Idiot’s Viru Sahastrabudhhe Meme To Spread Awareness About Vaccination

The role of Viru Sahastrabudhhe was played by Boman Irani and he was shown as an ambidextrous (the person who can write with both hands) in the film.

Mumbai Police emphasized on the need of getting vaccinated by posting the meme with the caption, “Virus took years of training to write with 2 hands. You need only few months to get fully vaccinated.”

Virat Kohli Quits Test Captaincy, Issues A Statement On Twitter, Fans Lash Out At BCCI

Fans of the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli must be pretty disappointed as he chose to give up the test captaincy after he lost the 3-match test series to South Africa by 2-1. Just few minutes ago, Virat Kohli took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and announced his decision of quitting the test captaincy.

He issued a statement in which he wrote that he led the team with complete honesty and gave 120 percent but as everything comes to a halt at some point of time, it’s time for him to stop being the test captain. He thanked BCCI, teammates, former head coach Ravi Shastri and support staff for their continuous support and for helping him in bringing his vision to life. Virat also thanked the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni for believing in him and in his capability to take the Indian team forward.

Here is what Virat Kohli wrote in his statement,

“It’s been 7 years of hard work, toil and relentless perseverance everyday to take the team in the right direction. I’ve done the job with absolute honesty and left nothing out there. Everything has to come to a halt at some stage and for me as Test Captain of India, it’s now. There have been many ups and also some downs along the journey, but never has there been a lack of effort or lack of belief. I have always believed in giving my 120 percent in everything I do, and if I can’t do that, I know it’s not the right thing to do. I have absolute clarity in my heart and I cannot be dishonest to my team.

I want to thank the BCCI for giving me the opportunity to lead my country for such a long period of time and more importantly to all the teammates who bought into the vision I had for the team from day one and never gave up in any situation. You guys have made this journey so memorable and beautiful. To Ravi Bhai and the support group who were the engine behind this vehicle that moved us upwards in Test Cricket consistently, you all have played a massive role in bringing this vision to life. Lastly, a big thank you to MS Dhoni who believed in me as a Captain and found me to be an able individual who could take Indian Cricket forward.”

There is no denying the fact that Virat Kohli is the most successful skipper of India as he led the team in 68 test matches and India won 40 out of them but it is also true that he hasn’t been able to make his team win any major ICC trophy neither in short format nor in the longest format. Though Virat Kohli led the Indian team in the finals of the World Test Championship 2020-21 but lost it to New Zealand.

Earlier, Virat Kohli gave up the T20 captaincy after the ICC T20 World Cup and later on he was removed from the post of the ODI captain by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Virat Kohli hasn’t been able to score a century in test matches since 2019 which was also going against him.

A huge controversy got erupted when he was sacked from the ODI captaincy and now he was under fire for his rash behaviour in the third test match when the South African skipper Dean Elgar was given not out by DRS.

With Virat Kohli giving up the test captaincy, an era came to an end but hopefully we will see him play some great innings as a batsman.
