Pixie Curtis is presently 10 yrs old, studying in an elementary school and is the owner of a toy company that is making huge profits. The name of the toy company is Pixie’s Fidget which was launched last year by her mother Roxy Jacenko and the best part was that all the toys got sold out in just 48 hours of the launch.
Pixie Curtis is also the owner of one more business Pixie’s Bows that was also started by her mother when she was a baby. Now both the companies come under Pixie’s Pix and deal in games and accessories for kids.
Pixie’s mother Roxy who owns many other businesses said in an interview that her daughter can retire at the age of 15 if she desires to. She further adds that a joke has been going on in their family that she will be working till she is 100 while Pixie will take retirement at the age of 15.
Pixie has become a social media star and enjoys a huge fan following of 106K followers on Instagram. Though Pixie is presently enjoying being the owner of these two companies, her mother Roxy states that her daughter will never be obligated to work for the company and things will be reassessed whenever she will express her wish to stop working for Pixie’s Pix.

The South African cricket team is in a strong position against the Indian cricket squad in the third and the final test match of the series as by the time this article was written, the hosts needed 46 runs to win the match and they had 7 wickets in hand. The importance of this match can be understood by the fact that its winner will also win the series as both the teams have won 1-1 test match each.
A huge controversy erupted on the third day of the test match which is being played at Cape Town when the South African skipper Dean Elgar was saved from getting out due to DRS. In the 21st over of South Africa’s second innings, when the hosts were 60/1, R Ashwin hit Elgar’s pad and the on-field umpire Marias Erasmus gave the decision in India’s favour. However, Dean Elgar chose to take DRS and the decision of the on-field umpire was revoked as the ball tracking showed that the ball would have gone over the stumps and this left the Indian players in a state of shock.
While SuperSport is the official broadcaster of the series, it gets the data regarding ball tracking from HawkEye which is an independent company. However, the Indian cricketers including the skipper Virat Kohli were left so infuriated that they didn’t minced words against SuperSport.
Virat Kohli walked towards the stump mic and stated, “Focus on your team while they shine the ball. Not just the opposition. Trying to catch people all the time.”
He was soon followed the Indian vice-captain KL Rahul who alleged that it is the whole country against 11 players and Ashwin who was also pretty angry charged directly at the broadcaster by saying, “You should find better ways to win, SuperSport”.
Not just the Indian players but the on-field umpire Marias Erasmus was also not able to believe it and he was seen saying, “It’s impossible”.
A number of former cricketers from South Africa and India have objected to this behaviour of the Indian players, especially of the skipper Virat Kohli because youngsters follow him and he should have behaved in a mature manner. The other point which is objectionable is the fact that the Indian cricketers have alleged that the broadcaster is trying to manipulate the game in South Africa’s favour which is a serious allegation.
Virat Kohli has attracted controversies many times earlier also because of his expressive and aggressive attitude but this is the first time he and his teammates have leveled such serious allegations against the broadcaster.

The Indian cricket team is in a little strong position in the ongoing third and the final test match of the 3-match test series which is being played at Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town, against South Africa. While the Indian batters were able to put only 223 runs on the board in the first innings, the Indian bowlers, especially Jasprit Bumrah brought India back in the game by getting the Proteas all out for just 210 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah bowled superbly and took a fifer for just 42 runs and this was his seventh fifer of the career. Prior to this, Jasprit Bumrah has taken fifers in Johannesburg (2018), Nottingham (2018 and 2021), Melbourne (2018), North Sound (2019) and Kingston (2019). While many online users started praising Jasprit Bumrah for his wonderful bowling, the former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel came up with statistical observation.
He states that whenever Jasprit Bumrah has taken a fifer, India has never lost that test match and hopefully the same will happen in Cape Town as well. Parthiv Patel tweeted, “India has never lost a Test when #Bumrah has got a five for. Looks like this will continue in Cape Town as well. #CricketTwitter #INDvSA”.
While this was an encouraging tweet for the Indian team and supporters, another former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra came up with another stats in which he highlighted that India always won the test match in which Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara produced a 100-run partnership until the Johannesburg test match which India lost.
Aakash Chopra tweeted, “Don’t want to jinx it but India had never lost a Test when Pujara-Rahane had a 100-run partnership too… till the last Test match at Johannesburg”.
Pujara and Rahane have been the backbone of the Indian test team for a long time and till now, they have produced six 100-run partnerships. Out of these six times, India has won five times and sixth time was in Johannesburg test match which was won by South Africa and the 3-match test series got leveled by 1-1.

The northern parts of India are experiencing extreme cold weather conditions and the recent rainfall and snowfall in the hilly areas have made things more difficult. While it has affected the routine life of the citizens in a big manner, it has also worsened the condition of roads and highways, especially those roads which were already in a bad condition.
The Kashmir valley has received very heavy snowfall in the recent past because of which the condition of roads is pretty bad but what has brought smiles on the faces of many people is the reporting done by a young girl. When a little girl saw the poor condition of the roads in her neighbourhood, she took it upon herself to take up this issue, inform the authorities about it and ask them to do something.
The name of this young girl is not known but with mic in her hand and the manner in which she has expressed the problems faced by her and other people of her locality, it appears that she is a trained journalist who knows how to give a personal touch to reporting. The person who was recording the video was also guided by the young girl as to where he should focus the camera. The video soon went viral after it was posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter and people have already fallen in love with this youngest reporter from Kashmir.
