The Indian cricket has entered the new era with Rohit Sharma taking up the complete responsibility of captaincy of the Indian cricket squad in the limited overs format. Rohit Sharma’s first assignment as a full-time skipper was against New Zealand in the 3-match T20I series which India won with 3-0 under his leadership and now he has been appointed as the skipper of the ODI Indian team as well. Not just this, Hitman has also been made the vice-skipper of the Indian test team as he has replaced Ajinkya Rahane who had been going through a rough patch for a long time now.

Captaincy is not a new thing for this veteran right-hand opener as he has led the Indian side in limited overs in the absence of Virat Kohli and how we can forget to mention that he is the most successful IPL skipper as Mumbai Indians has won the tournament 5 times under his leadership. Earlier, Rohit Sharma led team India in 10 ODI matches in the absence of Virat Kohli, out of which India won 8 matches including the Asia Cup 2018 in which India emerged as the winner.

Rohit Sharma was appointed as the skipper of the Indian T20 team as Virat Kohli announced his decision of quitting the captaincy after the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 even before the start of the tournament citing the reason of increased workload because of which he was not able to focus properly on ODIs and test matches. Hitman’s appointment as the ODI skipper doesn’t come as a surprise as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) wants him to build a team for the T20 World Cup which is going to take place in Australia next year and the 50-over World Cup which will be hosted by India in 2023.

Though Virat Kohli is a great batsman and his track record as a skipper is also incredible yet he hasn’t been able to make his team win a single ICC trophy throughout his captaincy career. Kohli will be leading the team in test matches and undoubtedly he has performed brilliantly as far as winning bilateral series at home or away is concerned but he also failed in making his team win the ICC World Test Championship 2019-21 as New Zealand defeated India in the finals of the championship.

Virat Kohli is also one of the highest run-getters in the IPL but Royal Challengers Bangalore has never won an IPL title under his captaincy despite the fact that he has been associated with the team since 2008 inaugural edition and has led the team from 2013 till 2021. Virat Kohli has also given up his IPL captaincy but he will keep on playing for RCB and the team will have a new captain.

Kaanta Laga Girl Shefali Jariwala Disclosed Why She Vanished From Industry After Hit Track

The Indian pop music industry has provided us with many remix versions of old songs, while some of them were so good that they broke all the records, there were few which had been quite painful to ears. Well, it’s highly impossible that we talk about remixes and forget to mention “Kaanta Laga” which featured beautiful actress Shefali Jariwala and was certainly a trendsetter.

Everyone expected to see more of Shefali Jariwala after she was featured in the all-time hit track but what surprised everyone was that she got completely disappeared post “Kaanta Laga” and no one was able to understand why this happened.

Recently, in an interview, Shefali revealed the reason behind her disappearance and told that since a young age, she suffered epilepsy seizures because of which she was not able to take more work after “Kaanta Laga”.

She added that she didn’t know when she would get next seizure and she had to bear all this for 15 years. However, the good thing is that it has been 9 years now that she is seizure free and she is really proud of herself as she managed depression, anxiety and panic attacks in a natural manner aided by a strong support system.

She told that she suffered from epilepsy seizure from the age of 15 yrs and it not only caused her massive anxiety but also affected her self-esteem in a big manner. She added that stress and depression can cause seizures and vice-versa and when she was 15 years old, she faced a lot of pressure to perform well in studies because of which she suffered seizures in classrooms as well as streets. Shefali also revealed that she had seizures backstage as well which brought down her self-esteem.

We hope to see more of Shefali Jariwala now as she is a wonderful performer and a great dancer.

Before purchasing a two-wheeler insurance plan from a reputed insurer, individuals might consider knowing about a set of terminologies related to it. Clarity on these terms will help a policyholder understand the policy document in detail. This, in turn, will allow him or her to renew, buy or raise claims in a hassle-free manner.

  1. First, second and third party

An insured individual possessing a valid insurance plan is the first party. The insurance company or the provider offering the plan is the second party. Finally, a third party is a person who suffers damages due to accidents or collisions caused by the first party.

However, any vehicle or property sustaining damages resulting from accidents caused by a policyholder is also recognised as a third party. In case of third-party damages by an insured vehicle, the vehicle-owner faces liabilities and other legal repercussions.

  1. Premium payments

Insurance companies charge a certain amount as a premium from insured individuals for availing and the maintenance of their policy and coverage. The insurers set this policy premium by considering factors such as a policyholder’s claim history, age, income capacity, area of residence and more.

One can use an online two-wheeler insurance calculator to evaluate the premium amount before purchasing a plan. Certain factors determine the two-wheeler insurance premium. They are as follows:

  • Vehicle’s age
  • Fuel type
  • Geographical location
  • Insured Declared Value (IDV)

  1. Own damage cover

A mandatory third-party insurance plan covers third-party liabilities and litigation issues arising from an accident between an insured vehicle and a third party. However, it does not provide coverage against its own two-wheeler damages. Considering this, the insurance companies offer standalone own damage insurance that covers the insured bike against accidental damages.

Further, an own damaged two-wheeler insurance cover also includes damages caused due to fire, natural or man-made calamities and more. Individuals possessing a third-party insurance plan can get this standalone cover separately for additional protection.

  1. Insured Declared Value (IDV)

The Insured Declared Value (IDV) essentially determines the market value of a vehicle. It is the maximum value an insurer will pay in case of total loss or damage of a vehicle. Insurers evaluate this value by adjusting the manufacturer’s selling price for depreciation according to the vehicle’s age.

For vehicles equipping externally fitted accessories, IDV calculation is done separately and added on later. The formula for IDV calculation is:

IDV = (Manufacturer’s listed price – Depreciation) + (Cost of accessories – Depreciation)

  1. Depreciation value

The actual value of a vehicle reduces over time due to constant wear and tear. This is known as depreciation, and it depends on a vehicle’s age. During the claim process, an insurer deducts this value from the claimed amount before making payment. In case of total loss or irreparable damages, the insurer will subtract the depreciation cost totally.

However, for a partial loss, insurers will consider only the depreciation cost associated with those parts of a vehicle.

  1. No-claim Bonus

Insurance companies offer a discount on policy premiums to those policyholders who maintain a claim-free year within their policy term. This discount, also known as No-claim Bonus (NCB), depends on the number of non-claim years an individual maintains. Further, if a policy member shifts his or her plan from one insurer to another, the No-claim Bonuses will be transferable.

  1. Personal accident cover

Under this cover, an individual and his/her family receive compensation for the insured two-wheeler’s accidents resulting in permanent total disability or death. Insurers must mandatorily offer this cover to applicants of both third-party and comprehensive insurance plans. However, vehicles owned by companies, corporates, partnership firms etc., are not eligible for a personal accident cover.

  1. Add-ons

An add-on facility allows an individual to get overall coverage for his or her bike. One can purchase add-on policies to customise the comprehensive two-wheeler insurance. These add-ons keep you away from financial losses and benefit your two-wheeler in so many ways. Some beneficial add-ons are breakdown assistance, tyre protection coverage, return to invoice cover, zero depreciation, consumable cover and many more.

Out of all the beneficial add-ons, zero depreciation bike insurance is known to be the most important type of add-on for its robustic features. It functions to not depreciate or subtract the value of a two-wheeler despite the wear and tear of any body parts. While riding a two-wheeler in India, an add-on as zero dep bike insurance is an important add-on policy. Because the value for money of your bike will remain high and zero% will be deducted from depreciation and remain new in terms of the market price.

However, to obtain these policies, one needs to pay a nominal amount over and above their policy premiums.

  1. Exclusions

Although a well-rounded insurance policy offers maximum coverage, there are some limitations to it. For instance, bike insurance policies do not cover damages caused due to overspeeding, drunk driving, etc.

Therefore, one should be aware of such exclusions before settling for a plan to avoid discrepancies during the claim settlement process.

  1. Grace period

All the bike insurance policies come with a certain validity period. After the expiry of a plan, some insurers offer a period of 30 days within which a policyholder can renew his policy. During this period, there would not be any inspection. This is known as the grace period, and the duration varies across insurers.

“India Ki Jeet Se Jyada Aapke Charche Hain,” Sehwag Reacts To Ajaz Patel’s Net Bowling Incident

The Indian team may have won the Mumbai test match against New Zealand but more than India’s triumph, the cricket lovers are talking about the achievement made by the New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel who took all the 10 wickets of the Indian batsmen in the first innings.

While the first test match which was played at Kanpur got drawn, India managed to clinch the series by winning the Mumbai test match and though Mayank Agarwal was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his superb batting yet it was Ajaz Patel who took the cricket world by storm by becoming the third player to take 10 wickets in an innings. The other two bowlers who have achieved this impossible feat are England’s Jim Laker and India’s Anil Kumble.

Ajaz Patel was praised by people from the cricket fraternity as well as cricket fans and as a result, social media got flooded with posts appreciating him. The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag also took to Twitter to shower praises on the Mumbai born Kiwi cricketer.

Viru Paaji tweeted, “One of the most difficult things to achieve in the game. 10 wickets in an innings. A day to remember for the rest of your life, #AjazPatel. Born in Mumbai, creating history in Mumbai. Congratulations on the historic achievement.”

Soon the Kiwi spinner responded on the tweet made by Sehwag and talked about the time when the former Indian destructive batsman smashed him during the nets.

Ajaz Patel tweeted, “Thank you @virendersehwag, funny story I still remember you smashing me out of the ground at the outer oval at Eden Park when I came in as a net bowler”.

In response, Virender Sehwag states that time does change and his achievement is so big that it has overshadowed India’s win.

Sehwag’s tweet read, “Waqt ki aadat hai , badalta zaroor hai. What you have achieved in Mumbai is extra-ordinary so much so that India ki jeet se jyada aapke charche hain. May you achieve ever more success and good luck.”

Ajaz Patel started his career as a seamer but then he shifted towards spin bowling and after taking total 14 wickets in the Mumbai test match, he made a record of taking the maximum wickets against India in a test match. Ajaz Patel has played 11 test matches so far in his career in which he has taken 43 wickets.

Mohammed Siraj Asks Fans To Cheer For India & Not Just For RCB, Video Is Going Viral

The Indian cricket team registered a huge win by 372 runs against New Zealand in the second and the final test match of the series which was played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and with this, India also won the 2-match test series by 1-0.

The young Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj is undoubtedly the rising star of the Indian cricket squad and he has also played an important role in India’s victory in the Mumbai test match by taking three wickets in the first innings of New Zealand. The Indian side batted first and posted a good total of 325 runs in its first innings but the Kiwis performed pretty badly as the whole team got out at just 62 runs.

During the presentation, fans of Siraj were seen chanting his name and he also addressed them by waving at them. However a little later, some fans started chanting RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore), the IPL team for which Mohammed Siraj plays and he has also been retained by the franchise ahead of the mega auction for the IPL 2022.

When Siraj heard that the fans were chanting RCB, he asked them to cheer for team India by pointing towards his jersey. The video of the incident is going viral and fans are showering love on their favourite cricketer for his wonderful gesture.
