The situation of the COVID-19 pandemic may have improved considerably in India and few other nations but there are many countries which are once again facing its wrath. Things seem to be quite serious in Europe as the number of people losing lives to COVID-19 may reach 2.2 million in the winter if the present trend continues.
After the COVID-19 positive cases started increasing at a high rate in Europe, the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that around 7 lakh people may lose their lives in Europe by the month of March. Many countries have started imposing tough restrictions for stopping the spread of the virus. As per an estimate made by the WHO, 49 out of 53 nations may be facing high or extreme pressure in the intensive care units (ICU) from now onwards and it may continue till 1st March 2022.
As per the data, the average of people losing their lives to COVID-19 in the last week has increased to 4200 daily which is just double of the count (2100/day) which was recorded in September end.
The regional director for WHO Europe, Hans Kluge states that situation is getting challenging in Europe and Central Asia and winters may be very tough for all of us. Hans emphasized on the vaccine plus approach as per which a person should not only get vaccinated but also wear masks while out of house, practice social distancing, avoid crowded places, wash hands and use sanitizer regularly.
Germany is also facing the fourth wave and after the increase in cases, on Tuesday, the Health minister Jens Spahn talked about imposing stricter restrictions which may be done area-wise depending on number of cases recorded in the area. Considering the present situation, the USA has advised its citizens against travelling to Germany. In few areas of Germany such as Saxony and Bavaria, the Christmas markets have been cancelled and the government may take further strict actions if things keep on deteriorating like this.
Though France has not taken any tough step like Germany and Austria till now, it is also facing the fourth wave and the cases are increasing at a very good pace. In fact, Jean Castex, the French Prime Minister, has also caught the infection and he is going in quarantine for next 10 days.
We should follow the safety protocols despite the fact that the things are pretty good in our country.
Education is certainly one of the most important aspects of our life and every parent should ensure that their kid whether boy or girl should get proper education. It won’t be wrong to say that student life is the best time of our lives but it is also true that examination time is definitely the toughest one as the future of a student depends on the results of exams.
Although the time has changed a lot yet there are some girls who have to leave their study mid-way, sometimes voluntarily while at times, they are forced to do that but this girl from Rajkot made it clear to everyone that for her, education is more important than her wedding.
A video is going viral on the Internet in which a girl is seen dressed as a bride and giving examination in the exam hall. We are talking about Shivangi Bagthariya who is a student of Shanti Niketan College and she was seen writing fifth semester exam of Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).
She arrived at the examination center with her would-be husband and she told the mediapersons that when her marriage date was fixed, the schedule of exam was not declared by that time but when it got declared, the date of her examination and morning muhurat of wedding got clashed.
She added that both the families agreed with her decision and supported her completely. She also added that girls and their parents should give duly importance to education.
While some praised the girl for not leaving her exam despite the fact that it was her wedding day, many others called it a publicity stunt and few even raised questions as to how the camera was allowed in the examination hall.

However, you will be shocked to know that Manoj Bajpayee rejected this role three times before finally accepting it.
In The Family Man series, Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of Srikant Tiwari, an intelligence officer who is facing problem in bringing a balance in his personal and professional lives.
While speaking at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), the “Gangs Of Wasseypur” actor revealed that he was very afraid because he was not willing to be a part of the template which OTT platforms were setting.
He was not sure that what he wanted to be a part of but he was absolutely clear of what he didn’t wish to be a part of. He added that at that time, few web series were liked a lot by viewers but the template that the makers were following included violence, blood, guns, etc. and he didn’t want to be a part of it.
While talking about playing the character of Srikant Tiwari, he stated that it was not very difficult for him as he is from a middle class family and he didn’t need to go somewhere or observe anyone specifically to portray the character. He just needed to look at the way his father, brother or his neighbor lives their lives. As per him, Srikant Tiwari is everywhere, he is in the people who are travelling in trains, reaching their offices and then returning to their homes.
Thank God, Manoj Bajpayee finally accepted the role of Srikant Tiwari otherwise we would have been deprived of watching a wonderful web series and an amazing acting performance.
Rahul Dravid, the former Indian cricketer, is one of the most loved players of India and he was also referred to as “The Wall” by his fans as he was among the most consistent and dependable batsmen of the team. The former cricketer has now joined the Indian squad as the new head coach after the tenure of former head coach Ravi Shastri came to an end with the conclusion of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
Rahul Dravid has a huge fan following and many Bollywood celebs also adore him including famous actress Richa Chadha. Recently in an interview to a leading daily, the “Fukrey” actress revealed that Rahul Dravid was her first crush, adding that she is not a big fan of the game but her brother used to play cricket.
She further said that she used to watch matches on TV with her brother sometimes just for Rahul Dravid but after he stopped playing, she also stopped watching matches. She further says that as Rahul Dravid is back in the Indian dressing room, though not as a player, she will again start following the game now.
Rahul Dravid’s first assignment as the coach went great as India defeated New Zealand in the three match test series by 3-0 and his second assignment will be the 2-match test series against New Zealand starting from November 25 at Kanpur. These two test matches will be played under the World Test Championship 2021-23.
Rahul Dravid has worked as coach for the U-19 Indian team and many players in the present Indian squad have got trained under him. The Indian cricket team will look forward to perform well in the upcoming two match test series against New Zealand after making a clean sweep in the recently concluded 3-match T20I series. The first test match will be played in Kanpur and Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the team as India’s test skipper Virat Kohli has been given rest after the ICC T20 World Cup. Virat Kohli also didn’t play in the T20I series but he will be back in the team for the second test match which will be played in Mumbai.

In the meantime, we also get to know that the woman was short-tempered, aggressive and violent and for the same, the concerned police officer advices the man to move on in life and spend time with his son as he needs him and this way, they both will find some happiness in their lives. It appears that the man loves his wife a lot or is at least concerned about her as he is seen enquiring about her in police station quite often. However, a twist in the story comes when a man is seen blackmailing the husband over and over again for money which gives an implication that he knows some secret of the husband who is left with no option other than paying the man if he wants his secret not to be disclosed in front of the world.

Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer, was not a part of the Indian cricket team which played the three T20I match series against New Zealand and he won’t be available for the Kanpur test match as well but he will make a comeback in the team for the Mumbai test match. Virat Kohli quit the T20 captaincy after the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and he made an announcement regarding the same even before the start of the tournament. In fact as per some reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is also thinking of removing him from the captaincy of the ODI team but he is going to retain the test captaincy.
