KL Rahul is one of the finest Indian batsmen of the present times but he failed to perform well in the first two matches of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 which India played against Pakistan and New Zealand. However, he made a good comeback against Afghanistan in which he played a superb knock of 69 runs (48 balls, 6 fours & 2 sixes) and helped his team in winning the match by 66 runs. In the match against Scotland, he was in a terrific form as he scored a half-century in just 18 deliveries and helped India in registering a huge victory by 8 wickets with 81 balls remaining to be bowled in the Indian innings.
Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) posted a video of KL Rahul in which he speaks about the 2011 ICC World Cup and how it changed his life. KL Rahul said that he watched the tournament at home and when India won it, things changed a lot for him. It was on that day that he understood this is what he wants to do and from that day onwards, he desires to win the World Cup for the country. He adds that not just one but he wants to win multiple World Cups for India.

KL Rahul was a part of the Indian team which played the 2019 ICC World Cup in which India lost to New Zealand in the semi-finals and on few occasions, he expressed his regret over the fact that he was not able to win the trophy for his country.
As far as the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is concerned, India will play its next match against Namibia on 8th November but its hopes of reaching the semi-finals also depend on the result of New Zealand vs Afghanistan match which will be played tomorrow at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. If the Kiwis win this match, India will get knocked out of the tournament but if Afghanistan defeats the Black Caps and India defeats Namibia by big margin, India may secure its place in the semi-finals on the basis of net run rate.
From Group 1, England has almost confirmed its place in semi-finals while in Group 2, Pakistan has qualified for the semi-finals.

The Indian cricket team is all set to play its next match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 against Namibia on 8th Nov which will be played at Dubai International Cricket Ground. India needs to win this match with a big margin and it will also keep an eye on the match which will be played between New Zealand and Afghanistan on 7th Nov at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, because if New Zealand wins, India’s hope of entering the semi-finals will get thrashed; however if Afghanistan wins, India may qualify for the semi-finals on the basis of the better run-rate.
As far as India’s campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is concerned, it started pretty bad with a humiliating defeat against Pakistan and then it lost to New Zealand by 8 wickets. Nevertheless, India made a comeback in the match against Afghanistan and registered a comfortable win and in its last match which was against Scotland, India not only restricted Scotland at a meager score of 85 runs in 17.4 overs but also registered a thumping victory by achieving the target in just 6.3 overs (81 balls remaining) with 8 wickets in hand. While KL Rahul scored a fifty in only 18 balls, Rohit Sharma played a useful innings of 30 runs and helped his team in winning the match easily.
Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian all-rounder, was adjudged as the player of the match for his superb bowling as he took 3 wickets in his 4 overs and gave only 15 runs. Jadeja attended the post-match conference and while answering one of the journalists, he made a statement which made netizens laugh out loud.
The journalist asks Jadeja that it is being said we have a chance of playing in the semi-finals if Afghanistan defeats New Zealand but what will happen if the Kiwis defeat Afghanistan. In reply, Ravindra Jadeja said, “Toh phir bag pack kar ke ghar jayenge aur kya” (We will pack our bags and go home, what else).

The Indian cricket team has performed pretty well in its last two matches which were against Afghanistan and Scotland after getting defeated by Pakistan and New Zealand in the first two matches. Now India will be playing its next match against Namibia on November 8 at Dubai International Cricket Ground and even a win would not guarantee the Indian squad a seat in the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 but still it should win it by a big margin in order to improve its run rate.
India will be able to enter the semi-finals only if Afghanistan defeats New Zealand and is also able to leave the Kiwis behind on the basis of better run rate. While India, New Zealand and Afghanistan are trying their best to get their place secured in the semi-finals, Pakistan is the only team in the Group 2 which has qualified for the semi-finals. Namibia and Scotland are the two teams of Group 2 which have no chance of entering the semi-finals.
On the other hand, in Group 1, England has almost entered the semi-finals because of its superb run-rate and the other two teams which are working hard to secure a place in the semi-finals are Australia and South Africa. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and West Indies from Group 1 have also been knocked out of the tournament. England’s next match is against South Africa and Australia will have a chance of play the semi-finals only if England defeats South Africa.
The former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer recently took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and shared a meme in regard to the interesting developments taking place in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
He posted an image from the 2007 released Bollywood movie “Dhamaal” which was directed by Indra Kumar and starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jafari and Ashish Chaudhary in important roles.
Check out the meme:
Wasim Jaffer caption the image with, “Current situation: India and AUS not only need to win but need AFG and ENG to win too for certain/easier passage. #T20WorldCup”
Here is the tweet:
Let’s see what happens but if we take a look at the overall performances of the teams till now, Pakistan and England certainly deserve to be in the finals. What do you say?

The Indian cricket team will be playing its third T20I match which will be against Afghanistan and it is a must win game for India as it has already lost its first two matches against Pakistan and New Zealand. What has hurt fans and the cricket fraternity more is that the Indian players performed in a lackluster manner and their intensity was pretty low especially against New Zealand.
The Indian side and the skipper Virat Kohli are getting slammed a lot for sending Ishan Kishan as an opener instead of Rohit Sharma against New Zealand and for not including Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing XI despite the fact that he is India’s best spinner in the present times and he can also bat pretty good down the order.
There is no denying the fact that Virat Kohli is one of the best cricketers of all times and he has a global fan following. Recently, a Pakistani cricket fan made an offer to the Indians on the micro-blogging site Twitter, asking to give them Virat Kohli if the Indians don’t like him now.
The online user wrote, “Hume dedo Virat Kohli agar nahi pasand aa raha ab” (Give us Virat Kohli if you are not liking him anymore).

Soon many Twitter users started responding on the tweet and while some gave arguments against giving Virat Kohli, there were few who made counter offers and several others even took a jibe at the budget of PCB. Check out some selected reactions:

Virat Kohli has already made the announcement that he will leave captaincy of the T20 team after the World Cup and as per some reports, he may also lose captaincy of the ODI team as well.
Many experts are of the opinion that the Indian players must be tired because there was not much gap between the IPL 2021 and the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and one more reason that may be behind India’s poor performance is the fact that they have been in bio-bubble for a long time now.
Whatever the reason may be, now the Indian cricketers need to pull up their socks and win all the remaining matches to save some respect.

Some of us love to shop new clothes and try to fill our wardrobe with clothes fit for all purposes or occasions but there are many people in this world for whom having food two times in a day is a tough fight, leave aside buying new clothes. These people have limited clothes and buying a new one is highly difficult for them; however, Imagine Clothes Bank is one such initiative which has made it very easy for people of the weaker sections of society to buy new clothes, though they are not new completely as they are donated by those people who don’t use them anymore but some clothes are so good as if they are new.
It all started in 2002 when four students of St Aloysius in Mangaluru founded a clothes bank for the poor and needy who live on the streets. Many people including students of various schools and colleges used to donate clothes which were collected by these four and distributed for free but as their studies got completed, this initiative came to a halt.
But now these four – Vinod Prem Lobo, Melisha Noronha, Nitin Kumar and Vignesh have once again come together, started this initiative in a bigger manner and named it as Imagine Clothes Bank, Bengaluru. The shop is in Lava Kusha Layout in Beratena Agrahara, Electronics City, and it opens on Sundays only.
They have all types of clothes including sarees, jeans, trousers, shirts, etc. and two employees have been hired for the purpose of arranging clothes as per the size, type and age. The poor people can visit Imagine Clothes Bank on Sundays and purchase any clothe they want just for Re. 1. As per an estimate, around 150 families visit the clothes bank every week.
The clothes are donated by the relatives and friends of these four along with the members of various housing societies. The money which is earned by the sale of clothes is further used for providing medical aid and education aid to the poor.
We certainly need some more banks like this and more good Samaritans who can come up with noble initiatives like these four to make this world a better place to live.

Momos are originally found in Tibetan and Nepalese cuisines but in the present times, they have become one of the most popular street foods in India, especially in the northern parts of the country. Mostly steamed veg and non-veg momos are sold in the market but many outlets also sell fried momos, tandoori momos, and other versions too but have you ever heard about fire momos?
Yes, you read that right!
Recently, a Delhi blogger Hardik Malik who has an Instagram handle with the title of Paidaishi_Foodie posted a video in which a street vendor is seen cooking fire momos. In the video, the momo seller is seen tossing some momo pieces in hot oil. After the momos get fried, the oil is removed and chopped vegetables are added along with some sauces. At one point of time, the momos inside the pan catch fire but the vendor keeps on mixing the dish and serves it in a disposable plate.

Netizens and foodies, particularly momos lovers, don’t seem to be much impressed with the dish and they expressed their sense of displeasure through their comments.
