The Indian campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 will start from 24^th October with the match against its arch-rivals Pakistan but before that, team India is giving final touch to its preparations by playing a couple of warm-up matches. India played its first warm-up match against England yesterday at ICC Academy Ground, Dubai, and the hosts won the match comfortably by seven wickets.

India won the toss and invited England to bat first, the English team put up a good total of 188/5 in their 20 overs. The Indian openers KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan played smashing knocks of 51 (24 balls, 6 fours & 3 sixes) and 70 (46 balls, 7 fours & 3 sixes), respectively and India chased the target successfully with one over remaining in their innings.

After the match, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer talked about the positives that India took from the warm-up match against England but he also used it as an opportunity to take a dig at former English cricketer Michael Vaughan.

Michael Vaughan has a reputation of being critical towards the Indian cricket team and he often makes controversial statements against India. While few former Indian cricketers have slammed Vaughan for his tweets in the past, several others are of the opinion that Michael Vaughan intentionally speaks against team India because it helps him in increasing his followers on social media.

Wasim Jaffer’s tweet was soon noticed by Michael Vaughan and in his reply, he stated that warm-up matches have no importance attached to them.

The Indian team is going to play its second warm-up match against Australia tomorrow (October 20) at the same cricket ground and hopefully, it will play in the same manner in the tournament as well and emerge as the winner.

“Bachpan Ka Pyaar” was sung by Sahdev Dirdo in 2019 when his teacher asked him to sing. The teacher recorded it and posted it on social media networks and soon the song went viral. Some time ago, the popular singer Baadshah sang the remix version of “Bachpan Ka Pyaar” with Aastha Gill and Sahdev Dirdo.

Sahdev Dirdo has also been felicitated by the chief minister of his state Bhupesh Baghel and he is quite a popular kid now.

However, soon a Twitter user revealed that the name of the kid is Asaduzzaman Sadid. The 6 years old kid is from Barishal, Bangladesh, and he started bowling when he was just 3 years old. The user also revealed that Sadid is a big fan of Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan and never misses his match. In fact, he is pretty famous in his neighbourhood as “Rashid Khan Junior”.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 started yesterday with Oman and Scotland winning their first league matches. While Oman emerged victorious against Papua New Guinea, Scotland made the first upset of the tournament by defeating Bangladesh. While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) introduced the 360 degree vision of action in the IPL 2021 for the first time ever in the history of cricket, the apex body International Cricket Council (ICC) is also ready to introduce the bat-tracking technology in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

In a media release, the ICC stated that for the first time in the history of cricket, viewers will be able to see the bat-tracking off the bat facilitated by Hawk-Eye in some selected matches along with the edge detection and ball tracking services.

Furthermore from the Super 12 phase, cricket lovers will also get to see the amazing multi-angle spin around replay sequences from the 4D replay which is being enabled by the Star Sports channel, the official broadcaster of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. There will be minimum 35 cameras on the venues and viewers will get to see the state of art coverage with dynamic field plot and live player tracking as well.

The ICC also stated that coverage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 will be the most extensive till date as around 10K hours of live coverage will be broadcasted on linear and OTT channels in 200 countries.

Recently while talking to a cricket portal, the former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag says that matching the legacy of MS Dhoni in the Indian cricket as well as the IPL is going to be pretty tough in view of the fact that a skipper is always remembered for the total number of titles that a team has won under his leadership.

Viru paaji is of the opinion that CSK has been the best and the most consistent team in the IPL and it will be a big challenge for any other skipper to even go close to the legacy left by MS Dhoni.
