Twitter User Tries To Troll MS Dhoni Over His Poor Form, Swiggy Gives An Epic Reply

MS Dhoni may have retired from the international cricket last year but his popularity is still very much intact and the performance of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2021 has confirmed that as a captain, he is still one of the best in the cricket world.

However, Mahi is not having a good time with his bat in the ongoing league and haters are leaving no chance to mock the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman. Recently, a Twitter user tried to troll MS Dhoni for his poor form by sending a message to the food delivery app Swiggy in which he talked about MS Dhoni getting finished and asked Swiggy to sort it out.

The tweet read, “Hello @SwiggyCares I was trying to order Ms Dhoni from Instamart but I keep getting the message ‘Unfortunately MS Dhoni is Finished’. Can you sort this out please?”

Swiggy gave it back to the Twitter user with an ultimate reply which brought a big smile on faces of Dhoni’s fans.

Swiggy tweeted, “Unfortunately they don’t make Legends like MSD anymore”.

As far as the IPL 2021 is concerned, CSK is at the second spot with 9 wins in 13 matches and it has certainly qualified for the play-offs. If we talk about the batting performance of Dhoni, he has scored only 84 runs in the 13 matches which is far below his standards. The 40 years old cricketer is not at his prime at the moment but it is also true that he has played many match-winning knocks for the country and CSK and he will always be known as one of the best skippers and finishers of all times.

There is one more good news for the fans of Dhoni as Thala has confirmed that the IPL 2021 is not his last season in the tournament and he hopes to play his last IPL match in Chennai so that he can meet all his fans over there.

Nitin Gadkari Plans To Replace Horns With Indian Music, People React With Hilarious Memes

There is no denying the fact that the sound of honking horns on roads is the most irritating thing that we have to bear other than long traffic jams. Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, has come up with a unique or rather bizarre plan to save the citizens from the unpleasant sound of horns.

While speaking at the highway inauguration ceremony in Nashik on October 3, Nitin Gadkari states that he is planning to make a law as per which only the sound of Indian musical instruments such as flute, harmonium, tabla, violin, etc. can be used for horns as it is melodious to hear.

The minister further says that he is also studying the sirens of ambulances and police vehicles which are very loud, unpleasant and harmful for the ear as well. He feels that it should be replaced with the tune of Akashwani, the All India Radio which is played in the morning and is very soothing in comparison to the sirens.

After this statement was made by Nitin Gadkari, netizens started reacting hilariously with memes and jokes. Some people also tried to make us understand how the Indian traffic jams would look like in the future.

MS Dhoni Gives Hint About Playing IPL 2022, Says “I Will Play My Last Game In Chennai”

MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings has performed pretty well in the IPL 2021 and has qualified for play-offs. There is no denying the fact that CSK is certainly a strong contender for winning the league which will be the team’s fourth title win.

The skipper MS Dhoni is not in a good form with bat as he has scored only 84 runs in the 13 matches that he has played which is far below the standards of the 40 years old wicketkeeper-batsman. Critics have slammed Dhoni for his performance with bat many times and there have also been some rumours that this may be Mahi’s last IPL.

However recently during a virtual interaction with his fans, MS Dhoni quashed all the rumours of his retirement from the IPL after the current season and gave a hint that we would see him play in the next season as well. Dhoni tells his fans that hopefully they will get a chance to give him farewell in Chennai where he will like to play his last match and will also be able to meet all his fans. This statement from Mahi brought smiles on many faces.

MS Dhoni is certainly one of the most successful Indian skippers as he is the only skipper to win all the three ICC titles – 2007 ICC T20 World Cup, 2011 ICC World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He is also the second most successful skipper of the IPL after Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians as CSK has won the IPL title three times.

Though MS Dhoni is not in his prime with the bat, it has not affected the prospects of his team as he has been pretty wonderful as far as captaincy is concerned and at the moment, CSK is at the second spot in the IPL points table with 9 wins in the 13 matches that it has played.

The IPL mega auction is scheduled next year and it will be interesting to see whether CSK will retain Dhoni or he will also go in the auction pool as the franchises are allowed to retain only few players.

“Not A Personal Battle, People Seeking Attention Take It That Way,” Ashwin On Spat With Morgan

The Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been a part of quite a few controversies and recently he was once again in the center of a controversy after he had a scuffle with KKR player Tim Southee and skipper Eoin Morgan.

It all happened after Tim Southee gave an unpleasant sendoff to Ashwin after the Indian cricketer got out and when Ashwin gave him back, the KKR skipper Eoin Morgan also joined Tim Southee.

Eoin Morgan was not happy with Ashwin as he took a single after the ball ricocheted of Rishabh Pant’s hand; he called Ashwin a disgrace to the game and opined that his act was against the spirit of the game. However, what Ashwin did was completely within the laws of the game and later on in a series of tweet, he made it clear that he was not aware of that the ball rebounded off Pant. However at the same time, he also added that even if he had known that, he would have taken that run.

Now, the Indian spinner has talked more on this matter during the press conference which took place after the match which was played between DC and CSK. R Ashwin stated that at least for him, whatever happened is not personal or a one-on-one battle but for those who want attention, it may be a personal matter.

He added that he got really charged up because the manner in which Tim Southee and Eoin Morgan gave him a sendoff was completely unnecessary and what is worse that he was not even aware that ball rebounded off Pant’s arm because of which he felt that they both made their minds to have a go at him.

He said that this is why he stated that the words used by Tim Southee and Eoin Morgan were neither in correct direction nor in correct space. He concluded by saying that as the culture of India and England is quite different, it also has a good effect on the manner in which the cricket is played in both the countries.

The cricket world also got divided in regard to this incident as former Australian cricketer Shane Warne slammed Ashwin and called the incident disgraceful. On the other hand, the former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir supported Ashwin and said that he did not do anything wrong.

CSK Coach Stephen Fleming Speaks On MS Dhoni’s Batting & Poor Form During DCvsCSK

MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper, has certainly passed his prime and this is pretty much visible in his batting form in the ongoing IPL 2021. He has been criticized a lot in the past couple of years for his slow reflexes and for not being able to play big innings as well as huge shots as he used to play in old days.

Recently, the critics of MS Dhoni got one more chance to slam the skipper of Chennai Super Kings as he played a pretty slow innings in the match against Delhi Capitals and there was not a single boundary in his innings. In the match which was played at Dubai International Stadium, DC won the toss and decided to bowl first. Other than Ambati Rayudu who made 55 runs not out (43 balls, 5 fours & 2 sixes) no other CSK batter was able to put up a good show and the whole team managed only 136 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Mahi scored 18 runs for which he faced 27 deliveries and there was neither a four nor six in his innings.

After MS Dhoni got trolled for his slow innings, the coach of CSK Stephen Fleming came out in his support as he stated that it was not just Dhoni who struggled as it was a difficult day for playing strokes. Fleming added that the wicket was tough to score big and playing big shots was not easy because of which both the teams struggled to score runs.

Fleming was of the opinion that CSK was around 10-15 runs short of making a match-winning score. As per him, it is quite difficult to ascertain the playing conditions in all the three grounds on which the matches are being played so it is little tough to assess the score which a team should make while batting first. Fleming clarified that there was no lack of intent in the players of CSK, it was that they failed to stabilize the innings after a couple of mistakes were made. He was also full of praises for the bowlers of DC as they bowled pretty well in the last five overs and didn’t let CSK batters score freely.

As far as the match is concerned, DC won the match by 3 wickets with 2 balls remaining and DC’s Axar Patel was adjudged as the Player of the Match for taking 2 wickets in his 4 overs. While bowling, Axar Patel gave away 18 runs and with bat, he contributed 5 runs for his team.

Both DC and CSK are slated to enter the play-offs as they are sitting at the first and second spots, respectively on the points table.

Though Dhoni’s batting failure may have not impacted CSK much till now, he may need to play big innings in the important matches in the near future.

Twitter Enjoys A Hilarious Meme Fest As Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp Face Global Outage

The social media networks have become an important part of our lives nowadays and they are used for not just communication but also business purposes as there are many organizations that are dependent on few social media networks for their smooth functioning.

Yesterday, the social media network Facebook, photo-sharing platform Instagram and messaging platform WhatsApp faced global outage because of which many online users were not able to use the services of these three platforms. Many users took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express their annoyance and complained on not being able to use these apps.

All the three apps issued statements on Twitter regarding their non-functioning:

Here is what Instagram tweeted, “Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it! #instagramdown”.

WhatsApp’s tweet read, “We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!”

This is what Facebook wrote on Twitter, “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”

The chance of cyber attack was denied by the security experts as the technologies used in all the three platforms are different so it is highly impossible to hack all three at the same time. Facebook which owns Instagram and WhatsApp stated that the outage happened due to internal technical issue and it also made it clear that there is no proof of user data being compromised.

Things turned back to normal after around 6 hours and it was one of the longest outages of the year. Miffed netizens expressed their frustration on Twitter but there were some who showed creativity and shared some funny memes in this regard that will make you go ROFL:

The Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg made an apology to all the online users and stated, “Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger are coming back online now. Sorry for the disruption today — I know how much you rely on our services to stay connected with the people you care about.”

The shares of Facebook also went down because of outage and it made Mark Zuckerberg bear a loss of around $7bn.
