Neeraj Chopra has certainly become a household name after scripting history in the Tokyo Olympics as he has won the first Gold medal for India in the athletics and track event in the history of Olympics. With this victory, he has also become the second Indian sportsperson to win an individual Gold medal after Abhinav Bindra who won the Gold medal in the Beijing Olympics 2008.

If you remember, earlier Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid did a commercial for Cred in which he was projected as ‘Indiranagar Ka Gunda’ and this character was completely opposite to what Rahul Dravid is in the real life. The ad’s concept and Dravid’s performance were loved by audiences and now Cred has come up with one more wonderful ad featuring Neeraj Chopra and his javelin which is certainly the new love of the Indians.
In this commercial, Neeraj Chopra plays a number of characters such as of a journalist, movie director, business executive, TV presenter and many more. The ad perfectly shows how people have gone crazy for him as well as for javelin and also talks about those business people who want to take the benefit of Neeraj Chopra’s popularity. What’s more, the manner in which Neeraj Chopra has acted in this commercial, it makes us feel that he is a born actor and.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has once again left his fans in a shocked, surprised and dejected state. Earlier he announced that he would leave captaincy of India’s T20 team after the ICC T20 World Cup which will be played in UAE and Oman after the IPL 2021 and now he has made another statement in which he states that it is his last IPL season as a skipper and he will leave captaincy of Royal Challengers Bangalore after this tournament.
However, the RCB skipper has made it clear that he will play for RCB only till his last IPL match. He also thanks fans for the love and support that they have shown in his abilities.
While announcing his decision to quit captaincy of the T20 Indian team, Virat stated huge workload as the reason for taking this decision. He also says that now he wants to focus more on test matches and ODIs and this time again, he has talked about managing his workload.
Virat Kohli himself made the announcement of giving up RCB’s captaincy in a video which was shared on the official handle of RCB with the caption,
“Virat Kohli to step down from RCB captaincy after #IPL2021
‘This will be my last IPL as captain of RCB. I’ll continue to be an RCB player till I play my last IPL game. I thank all the RCB fans for believing in me and supporting me.’: Virat Kohli
#PlayBold #WeAreChallengers”
RCB fans are pretty upset and heartbroken with this recent development and few of them even say that they won’t be watching a single match of RCB if Virat Kohli is not the skipper.

Virat Kohli has been associated with RCB since the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008 and since 2013, he has been leading the team but RCB is still waiting to win its first IPL title. The Indian team has also performed well under the leadership of Virat but it is also true that the Indian cricket team hasn’t won any major tournament under his captaincy. Last time India won an ICC tournament was in 2013 when MS Dhoni was the skipper of the Indian squad and in the T20 World Cup which is going to take place after the IPL 2021, MS Dhoni will be donning the new role of mentor.
What is your reaction on Virat Kohli leaving RCB’s captaincy?

The Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli surprised everyone when he announced that he would give up the captaincy of the T20 Indian team post the ICC T20 World Cup which is going take place in UAE and Oman after the IPL 2021 gets over. Virat states that workload is the reason behind his decision, adding that he will like to concentrate more on test matches and ODIs and also wishes to give some space to himself.
Soon the Indian cricket fans started talking about this decision of Kohli and what effect it would have on the Indian team. Moreover, the big question that everyone is asking is who the new captain of India’s T20 team will be. The Indian squad has certainly performed well under Virat Kohli’s leadership but it hasn’t won an ICC trophy since 2013 which may be one of the reasons of him quitting captaincy.
While netizens are giving their opinions on the social media platforms, Rajkumar Sharma who is the childhood coach of Virat Kohli has opened up on this matter and he feels that not winning an ICC trophy is definitely not a reason behind his decision. Rajkumar Sharma says that the records of Virat in all the formats prove that he is one of the most successful Indian skippers and a skipper can’t be judged on the basis of ICC trophies that have been won by him.
Rajkumar Sharma also makes an interesting and surprising statement as he says that Virat may also quit the captaincy of his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore and will keep on playing as a batsman which will help him in focusing more on tests and ODIs.
Presently, Virat Kohli is gearing up for the second leg of the IPL 2021 and this time RCB has a good chance of winning its first IPL title as it was at the third position in the points table with 5 wins in 7 matches that it played before the IPL 2021 got postponed due to COVID-19.
Who do you think will be the new captain of the Indian T20 team?

Sheldon Jackson, the Indian cricketer who plays for Puducherry presently in the domestic cricket is all set to perform well in the second leg of the IPL 2021 for his team Kolkata Knight Riders. Earlier till 2020, Jackson used to play for Saurashtra in the domestic level and recently he revealed that at the age of 25 yrs, he was so frustrated that he wanted to quit cricket.
While chatting in a video with Kolkata Knight Riders, Sheldon Jackson stated that he was in the Ranji Trophy team for five years but he never got to play even a single match which made him think of saying goodbye to cricket forever. However, his very close friend whose name is Shapath Shah convinced him of giving one more year to cricket and promised him that if nothing good happened in next one year, Sheldon Jackson could do a job in the factory of Shapath Shah.
Jackson added that next year, things got clicked as he played in every tournament and broke every record in India. He scored four centuries in a year out of which three were in a row and Sheldon Jackson was the highest scorer that year. He added that this was the time when he understood that there was nothing else that he could do because he had no knowledge of anything other than cricket. Jackson further said that he never gave attention to anything else in life and if cricket had not been kind to him, he would have ended selling panipuris on streets.
Sheldon Jackson admired the former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir a lot as it was Gambhir who helped him in getting picked in KKR. Jackson revealed that after a Ranji Trophy match against Delhi in which he scored a half-century, he went to Gautam Gambhir and asked for his advise as to how he should improve his game. Gambhir assured him that he was batting well and this year he would ensure that KKR picked him in the team, however Jackson thought that Gambhir said all this just to keep his heart.
In the auctions of the IPL 2021, Sheldon Jackson was not bought by any franchise in the first round but Jackson did receive a call from someone in KKR who told him that Gautam Gambhir asked them to pick him and they would certainly go for him.
Sheldon Jackson concludes by saying that he has always looked up to Gautam Gambhir and he still does it.
