James Anderson Talks About The Emotion Of Taking Virat Kohli’s Wicket

The Indian cricket team seems to be in trouble in the fourth test match against England as it has already lost top 6 batsmen at a meager score of 122 in the first innings till the time this article was written. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli may have scored 50 before getting out but a lot more is expected from him considering the fact that his fans refer to him as one of the greatest batsmen of all times.

Even before the start of this test series, there was a lot of excitement among cricket fans as they wanted to see who would emerge as the winner in the contest between James Anderson and Virat Kohli. While in 2014, it was James Anderson who won the contest, Virat Kohli was at his best in 2018 and James Anderson was not able to trouble the Indian cricketer. However in the ongoing series, it is Anderson again who is winning this contest as Kohli may look in good touch but he is not able to make a big score. Virat has scored 174 runs in the six innings of this test series and his average of 29 is quite low as per his standards.

James Anderson has dismissed Virat Kohli seven times and recently in an interview, he talked about the emotions that he showed after taking Virat Kohli’s wicket. He said that when he took Kohli’s wicket in Leeds, there was a lot of emotion and the same thing happened in Trent Bridge. Anderson adds that there is some extra happiness after taking Kohli’s wicket because he is a very good player and also the skipper of the Indian team. Anderson says that Virat shows how much it means to him when his team takes a wicket so he wanted to show Virat what it means to them to get him dismissed.

James Anderson further states that the good thing was that they bowled well in partnership and brought good results in the second innings in Headingley. Currently, James Anderson is the third highest wicket-taker in the series with 13 wickets.

Hopefully the Indian players will rise to the occasion and play some good cricket.

Team India’s Coach Ravi Shastri Opens Up On Claims Of Rift Between Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli

The Indian cricket team is presently in England where they are playing the ongoing 5-match test series against England. As of now, three test matches have been played and the series is leveled at 1-1. It won’t be wrong to say that the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and senior cricketer Rohit Sharma are two important pillars of the Indian cricket team and they both are certainly an inspiration for many aspiring cricketers too.

While team India has performed well under Virat Kohli’s leadership and Rohit Sharma has played an important role in many wins of the Indian squad, there have been some reports in the past in which it has been stated that Virat and Rohit are not on good terms. Some reports also talked about the team being divided in two groups but both the players always shunned such rumours. Recently the head coach of the Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri opened up on this matter and he was pretty clear when he said that he never saw any such thing.

According to Ravi Shastri, he has never seen any rift between the duo as the coordination has always been pretty good. He adds that whenever someone asks him about the rift between the two senior players, he tells them he hasn’t seen what they have seen. The former Indian cricketer also states that even if there is a rift, he has not felt it affecting the team from the first day, adding that if it had affected the team, he would have talked about it with Virat and Rohit straight away. He also says that he doesn’t shy away from speaking whatever is necessary.

In the past, Virat Kohli has denied all such rumours and said that he has also heard a lot about all this and it’s ridiculous to read such news. He adds that the environment of the dressing room plays an important role in the performance of the team and if any such thing has been there, the Indian team wouldn’t have performed so well. In fact, Kohli invites the mediapersons to the dressing room to see it themselves as they can’t show the videos.

Virat Kohli has also praised Rohit Sharma on few occasions as he feels that the latter is a really good cricketer. Virat also says that he and his teammates are trying to take the Indian cricket on the top but there are some who are enjoying by trying to bring them down.

Do you also feel that there is a rift between the two or do you feel that everything is fine? Let us know your views.

“I’m Just A ‘Zero’ In Comparison To Real Life Heroes,” Rajpal Yadav Opens Up On His Struggles

There are a number of actors in the Indian movie industry who may not have played many lead roles in their career but they are so talented that they make an impact on the audiences even in the supporting roles. One such actor is Rajpal Yadav who has worked with almost all the big directors and actors of the industry and has played many shades in his career but he is particularly known for his perfect comic timing. Rajpal Yadav whom we have seen in numerous movies such as “Hungama”, “Malamaal Weekly”, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa”, “Chup Chup Ke”, “Hello Charlie”, etc. has worked very hard to achieve success in his career and recently during an interview with a leading daily, he opened up on his journey in the film industry.

The 50 years old actor stated that he left no stone unturned in earning his livelihood. While speaking about the problems that he faced, Rajpal Yadav said that the good thing was that from a very young age, he understood that a person should feel alive at every moment in his life and he is certainly the luckiest actor of the industry. It is almost 30 years now that he has been working and even in his school days, he used to take part in the dramas and dance in the weddings too. Quite interestingly, Rajpal Yadav said that it never mattered to him whose wedding it was, he just used to close the doors of his house and dance on the music played in the wedding.

Talking about how he got his big break, he recalled that it was in 1997 that he came to Mumbai for work and he visited offices of all the famous directors/producers such as Ram Gopal Verma, Govind Nihalini, Prakash Jha, Shyam Benegal and others several times. He added that he visited RGV’s office so many times that the watchman had started recognizing his face.

As per Rajpal Yadav, RGV was making a movie “Shool” with Manoj Bajpayee and Raveena Tandon in lead roles and he (Rajpal) got one scene in the film. He played the character of a coolie in the flick and had three lines dialogue to deliver. He added that during the shooting, hundreds of people were gathered outside the railway station and he got such a good response from the crowd that his three lines were increased to 13.

Rajpal shares a good bond with RGV as he stated that he has worked in 17 movies of the director and it was only RGV who had the guts to cast him in the lead role in the movie entitled “Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon”. The actor further said that the role that he played in “Jungle” changed his image among the viewers and he also won the award for the Best Performance in Negative role.

Rajpal Yadav also told that there was a phase in his life when he used to complete a project, land in Mumbai but instead of going home and spend time with his family, he used to take off for another project as his fresh clothes were packed in suitcase and sent to airport by his wife. He also narrated an incident which revealed the tough conditions that he experienced while shooting in one of the projects.

He talked about a movie “Kafan” which was based on Munshi Premchand’s novel; it was shot in a village near Lucknow and Rajpal lived in a worn-out house over there. He added that the condition was so bad that when he used to wake up in the morning, he used to have sand in his nose. Rajpal revealed that his staff thought of him being crazy for taking up such an assignment and that too at a time when the staff members of actors used to get accommodated in 2 or 3-star hotels.

Rajpal Yadav accepts that for him, it is a big thing that people recognize his name. He adds that for him, every day is a new day and he takes birth as an actor and after having a satisfying working day he dies happily at night.

However, Rajpal Yadav feels that he is not a hero as he has seen real life heroes like the person who made tunnel in the mountain or the scientists like Einstein or the person who cleans the glass windows of skyscrapers and many others. He concludes by saying that he is just a zero in comparison to all those people.

Pakistan Fan Accuses James Neesham Of Playing For Money, Neesham Gives A Befitting Reply

The second leg of the IPL 2021 will start from September 19 in UAE and the opener of the tournament will be played between Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni. Many foreign players will also be joining their teams including Jimmy Neesham who is a part of Mumbai Indians. In the first part of the IPL 2021, Neesham played only one match which was against CSK and in that game, he failed with both bat and ball as he got out on the very first ball that he played and while bowling, he conceded 26 runs in 2 overs and went wicket-less.

The skipper of the Kiwi team, Kane Williamson and some other senior players such as Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Siefert, Jimmy Neesham and Mitchel Santner won’t be a part of the New Zealand playing squad which will be visiting Pakistan as they have some T20 commitments to fulfill and this has certainly not gone well with many Pakistani cricket fans. Not only the Pak cricket fans but some former Pakistani cricketers have also expressed their displeasure over the fact that these players preferred franchise or club cricket over national duty.

Recently a Pakistani fan slammed Jimmy Neesham on the micro-blogging site Twitter for skipping national duties for money.

The tweet read, “Shame on you. Skipped national duties for Money.”

The Kiwi cricketer received many messages in this regard and he chose to clear his stand by responding on this tweet. Neesham writes that it is because of the New Zealand Cricket Player Welfare Policy that first choice players are not going on this tour. Moreover, he also stated that he requested the board to make an exemption in his case but the request was denied by them.

Jimmy tweeted, “I’m getting a lot of messages like this so I want to be crystal clear. It is an NZ Cricket player welfare policy that first choice players aren’t on this tour. I made a request for an exemption but that request was denied.”

Jimmy Neesham will definitely like to perform better in the second leg of the IPL 2021. The tournament has become more important for the players because the T20 World Cup will be taking place just after the IPL 2021 only so it is a good chance for them to prepare themselves for the World Cup.
