The fashion world keeps on giving us surprises and there have been many moments when we have laughed out loud on the designs or products created by some really big names of the industry. If you remember, some time back, a brand released denim jeans and overalls with fake grass stains, another brand came up with chair purses in which literally nothing could be kept and how can we forget about the necklaces which were made up of phone cords.
There are many other instances that made us wonder as to who designed them and for what purpose but now an Indian designer has become the butt of jokes by releasing an outfit which resembles the dress of Indian auto drivers.
One of the most famous Indian designers, Sabyasachi Mukherjee did a collaboration with the clothing brand H&M and recently released their new collection. While the whole collection was sold out within few minutes, many were left shocked and upset after seeing the huge prices of dresses. However, what caught attention of some netizens was a brown shirt priced at Rs. 2,999 and trousers for Rs. 3,499 and believe us if you will wear it, you will look pretty similar to auto wale bhaiya.
Soon, people started making memes and jokes in this regard and some even went on to say that auto driver’s dress looks better than the designer one. Here are some of the selected reactions:

After getting slammed on the social media networks, Sabyasachi Mukherjee took to his official Instagram account in which he talked about why he collaborated in first place with H&M, his vision for the young designers of India and he also apologized for the collection going out of stock so early.
What is your opinion in regard to the brown shirt and trouser? Will you pay a hefty amount for them or wish to wear them even? What do you think of this collaboration? Let us know your views.

The English cricket team will certainly like to get the Indian team out early in the second innings in order to increase their chances of winning the second test match of the 5-match test series while the Indian side will hope to put a good total on the scoreboard so that their bowlers have something to bowl to the England batters in their second innings.
In response to India’s 364 runs, England scored 391 runs in their first innings with the help of the skipper Joe Root’s 180 runs not out. For India, it was KL Rahul who played a beautiful innings of 129 runs and he was well supported by Rohit Sharma who made 83 runs.
As far as the Indian bowling is concerned, Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers as he took 4 wickets (Dominic Sibley, Haseeb Hameed, Jonny Bairstow and Ollie Robinson) in 30 overs and conceded 94 runs. The young pacer became a part of the Indian test team during the Australian tour and since then, he has always proved himself whenever he has got the chance.
However during the match after taking wickets, Siraj was seen celebrating with finger on lips and when he was asked to comment on it, the cricketer told a leading news portal that it was for his critics who doubted his capabilities and he chose to silence them with his bowling.
Mohammed Siraj further said that fast bowlers are quite important in the English conditions and they were bowling at consistent lengths as it was a part of their game plan.
Siraj kept on bowling short deliveries to Jonny Bairstow and though the English batsman resisted playing a shot on the short delivery for quite some time, the plan worked in the end and when Siraj went round the wicket and bowled short ball, Bairstow made an attempt to pull but the ball touched his gloves instead of bat and the catch was taken by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Siraj explained that as the pitch was not providing much help, they thought of using a bouncer as after eight overs, a new ball was scheduled to be taken.
It is not easy to play in the English conditions but the manner in which Mohammed Siraj has performed is quite commendable. As far as other Indian pacers are concerned, Jasprit Bumrah went wicketless while Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami took 3 and 2 wickets, respectively.

The second test match between India and England which is being played at Lord’s seems to be in an interesting situation as the both the teams have batted in their first innings and the hosts have taken a small lead of 27 runs with two days still remaining in the match. While it was the English skipper Joe Root who led from the front for his team as he scored 180 runs not out (18 fours), for India, it was opener KL Rahul who played a beautiful innings of 129 runs (12 fours & 1 six) and he was well supported by Rohit Sharma who played a brilliant knock of 83 runs (11 fours & 1 six).
Though the first test match at Trent Bridge ended in a draw, KL Rahul played useful innings of 84 and 26 runs in that match as well. Recently he opened up on how the century at Lord’s was special for him and also about the times when he was dropped from the test team in the year 2018.
While having a chat with Rohit Sharma in a video which was posted on the website of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Karnataka batsman said that scoring a hundred was really special not just because it was made at Lord’s but also for the fact that he was away from the purest form of cricket for around 2 years despite the fact that he has grown up wanting to become a test cricketer.
Talking about being dropped from the test team in 2018, the cricketer said that though it was hurtful, nobody has to be blamed for that as he was not able to give good performances so he was left with no options other than waiting for getting chances. He added that he enjoyed batting and getting a hundred at the home of cricket is certainly more special.
KL Rahul’s name will now be listed on the honour board at Lord’s as he scored a century over there and this is certainly a big achievement for him.
As far as the match is concerned, the England team got all out at the score of 391 at the end of the day in reply to India’s 364 and the visitors will start their second innings on the fourth day.

There is no denying the fact that Indians are pretty happy with the manner in which the Indian sportspersons have performed in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics as it was the best ever performance by India at the Olympics.
India came at the 48th position but no complains as the Indian sportspersons left no stone unturned in giving their best shot for the country. In the Tokyo Olympics, India won seven medals (1 Gold, 2 Silver, 4 Bronze) and there were many moments which not only made us proud but emotional as well.
The Olympics Committee also decided to make the event a little more special by releasing a video of more than 4 minutes which had the most emotional moments of the Olympics but what was not just shocking but disturbing too was that there was not even a single moment of any Indian player.
The Olympics Committee completely ignored the Indian sportspersons and featured the sportspersons of other countries, in fact sportspersons from some countries were featured more than once and this made Indian fans very angry.
This Olympics has been quite special for Indians as on one side, Neeraj Chopra won the first Gold medal ever for the country in the history of Olympics in athletics, on the other side, the Indian men’s hockey team broke the 41 years old jinx by winning the Bronze medal. How can we miss the special moments which were created and experienced by PV Sindhu, Mirabai Chanu, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Lovlina Borgohain and Bajrang Punia and filled us with joy and excitement….
Well, here is the video released by the Olympics Committee:
