Fans Come Up With Most Hilarious Reactions On Virat Kohli Losing 8th Straight Toss In England

The Indian cricket team has performed pretty well against England on the first day of the second test match which is being played at Lord’s as the visitors scored 276 runs for the loss of 3 wickets with the help of KL Rahul’s smashing century and Rohit Sharma’s knock of 83.

However, the history was repeated in the second test match too as the Indian skipper Virat Kohli lost the toss once again and it seems that his bad luck (in terms of toss) is not going to leave him any soon. If we talk about 2021, he has lost three straight tosses, beginning from the finals of the World Test Championship which India lost to New Zealand and then he lost the second toss at Trent Bridge. The loss at Trent Bridge was Virat Kohli’s 35th loss in the toss and with it he surpassed former Indian skipper MS Dhoni who lost 34 tosses during his captaincy in the purest form of the game.

What is more interesting is that Virat Kohli has played eight test matches (including the ongoing test match which is being played at Lord’s) in England as a skipper and he has lost all the tosses. In the last 11 test matches that India and England have played against each other, whether in India or in England, Virat Kohli has won only once and lost 10 times. In fact, you will be surprised to know that in 2018, Virat Kohli lost all the tosses that took place in the 5-match bilateral series.

On Thursday, Joe Root once again won the toss and decided to bowl first. He said that he took the decision keeping in mind the weather forecast and hoped that the bowlers would be able to take wickets early. Virat Kohli stated that he would have also liked to bowl first but he added that it is a good chance for his batsmen to put a big score on the board.

The online users also took a funny dig at Virat Kohli for his habit of losing the toss and few people even went on to say that someone else should go for toss instead of Virat.

Suniel Shetty & Athiya Lovingly React To KL Rahul’s Wonderful Ton During INDvsENG 2nd Test

The second test match of the 5-match test series between India and England started yesterday at Lord’s and the hosts decided to bowl first after winning the toss. The Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were in great form and they produced a partnership of 126 for the first wicket before Rohit Sharma became the target of James Anderson. Rohit batted brilliantly but he missed his century as he got out on the score of 83 runs and his innings included 11 fours and 1 six. Well, it won’t be wrong to say that it was KL Rahul’s day who not only scored a century but also remained unbeaten till the end of the day.

KL Rahul played a beautiful innings of 127 runs for which he played 248 balls and he hit 12 fours and 1 six. The 29 years old Karnataka batsman started cautiously but came into flow once he got the idea of the conditions while on the other hand, his partner Rohit Sharma batted more freely.

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty whose daughter Athiya Shetty is said to be in a relationship with KL Rahul reacted to this wonderful innings of the batsman and posted a small video clip of KL Rahul in which he is seen acknowledging his teammates, staff  and spectators who were clapping for him after he scored the century.

Suniel Shetty captioned the video, “100 at the Mecca of cricket! Congratulations and God Bless baba 🖤 @rahulkl Ps: thank you for my bday gift!”

KL Rahul responded on the post made by Suniel Shetty with heart and hugging face emoji and the same video clip was shared by Athiya Shetty on her Instagram story.

Rohit Sharma is also full of praises for KL Rahul as he says that probably this is the best batting performance of Rahul that he has seen. The IPL team Mumbai Indians’ skipper said that KL Rahul was in control from the first ball and it remained the same till the end of the day. Hitman further said that KL Rahul was absolutely sure about his plans and when a player is clear about his plans and believes in them, it certainly benefits him.

While the Indian skipper Virat Kohli got out on the score of 42, Cheteshwar Pujara disappointed once again as he got out on the score of 9 runs. At the end of the first day, India was in a pretty good position at the score of 276/3 with KL Rahul (127) and Ajinkya Rahane (1) at the crease.

It will be interesting to see what score India will put on the score board for England in the first innings.

21-yr Christine Sun who studies in New York but stays in Orange county, California, is also one of those people who find it difficult to select the restaurant or pub to visit or order but her boyfriend Aagam Badecha has come up with a great solution to this problem. Aagam who is a software engineer by profession has developed a computer program which will help his girlfriend in choosing the place to eat and that too, within seconds and he gifted the program to Christine on their anniversary.

Christine Sun who used to take much time even in ordering food online stated that she loved the program created by Aagam and she also loves the romantic nature of her boyfriend. On Tuesday, she used the same program for choosing the place to eat for their anniversary dinner.

Aagam used Yelp API (Application Programming Interface) for creating the program which displays 50 best food outlets or restaurants in the area depending on the type of the cuisine the user wants to eat.

Aagam feels that this computer program may not help him in earning money but it is certainly a great gift for his girlfriend.

Salman Khan Shares Pic With Mirabai Chanu But What Netizens Notice Is Blackbuck On His Shawl

Saikhom Mirabai Chanu, the 27 years old Indian weightlifter, once again made the country proud by winning the Silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics in the 49 Kg category. Mirabai Chanu basically hails from Nongpok Kakching village in Imphal East district and she was given a grand welcome on her return in the country.

Recently, Mirabai Chanu met Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who posted a photo with the Indian weightlifter on his official Twitter account with the caption, “Happy for u silver medalist @mirabai_chanu.. lovely meeting with u… best wishes always!”

Mirabai Chanu also responded on Twitter by thanking the actor and stated that she is his big fan. Her tweet read, “Thank you so much @BeingSalmanKhan sir. I am a big fan of you and it was like a dream come true for me.”

However, what online users noticed the most in Salman Khan’s tweet was the image of blackbuck which was printed on the shawl worn by Salman Khan.

If you remember, Salman was arrested by cops in the year 1998 on the charges of shooting two blackbucks in a small village which was close to Jodhpur. It happened during the shooting of movie “Hum Saath – Saath Hain” and this incident still creates a lot of stir often on social media.

Presently, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are shooting for their movie “Tiger 3” which is a spy thriller and the third installment of the Tiger series. The first movie of the series “Ek Tha Tiger” got released in 2012 while the second movie “Tiger Zinda Hai” hit the theatres in 2017. The first part was directed by Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar directed the second part and the third installment is directed by Maneesh Sharma. In the third part of the series, Emraan Hashmi will also play an important role along with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Guy Shares Funny Script For Neeraj Chopra’s Biopic Ft. Akshay Kumar & Kiara & It’s Damn Interesting

Neeraj Chopra, the Indian track and field athlete who made the country proud by winning the Gold medal in Javelin Throw at the Tokyo Olympics has become a household name now and his fan following has increased manifold in last few days. After he won the Gold medal, a debate started as to which actor would be more suitable to play the athlete’s role in his biopic. In fact, Neeraj Chopra was also asked this question and he put forth two choices – Akshay Kumar and Randeep Hooda.

Well quite interestingly, a Reddit user has now written Neeraj Chopra’s biopic and it certainly has all the masala that a complete entertainer needs. He has chosen Akshay Kumar for playing the lead role while the female lead is being played by Kiara Advani and Gajraj Rao portrays the character of Neeraj Chopra’s coach.

The movie starts with some boys playing cricket in a village in Haryana, a big six is hit by the batsman and the ball gets dropped in a field in which a young boy is working with his father. The boys ask the kid to throw the ball to them but then they try to stop him, saying that it will never reach them. However, the kid throws the ball and stuns everyone by hitting the middle stump.

All this is noticed by an athletics coach (Gajraj Rao) who decides to follow the kid and sees him hitting mangoes on the tree with stones and throwing bricks after which he gets convinced that the young kid is special and needs training. Gajraj Rao somehow manages to convince the kid’s father for getting him trained. Other kids at the training academy make fun of his poverty but after seeing his ability to throw Javelin, they stop making fun of him.

After that, the movie takes a leap and Akshay Kumar comes into scene; he is not only a national level Javelin Thrower but also employed in the Indian Army. One day he sees that some goons are troubling Kiara Advani, Akshay saves her but before they both could interact, he leaves for his practice.

However next day during an Army function, he sees Kiara sitting next to commanding officer which makes him understand that she is the daughter of the commanding officer. Soon they both fall in love but Akshay makes it clear to Kiara that for him, winning the Gold in the Olympics is the highest priority so he can’t commit to her. She shows support and promises to wait till he wins the Gold.

Akshay participates in many competitions and wins everywhere but then war with Pakistan starts and he decides to go on the border despite the fact that everyone tries to stop him as he is a medal prospect but he chooses to go and fight as there is nothing more important than fighting for the country. In the war also, he uses his Javelin to take lives of enemies but he gets so much injured that doctors tell him he will never be able to throw Javelin in his life.

However, Akshay never loses hope, tries to recover from injuries and soon he starts playing again. He goes to the Olympics where he gets competition from evil German guy who makes fun of him and Indians by calling them weak. As Akshay performs well in qualifiers, the German guy sends some member of his contingent to harm him but Akshay beats everyone and he also gets helped by the Indian hockey team.

On the big day, Akshay gets the news that the farms of his father have caught fire, he is tense but his coach makes him realize that he needs to perform as his country needs it. He wins the Gold and everyone celebrates.

Sachin Admits Having Anxiety Issues, Says He Could Not Sleep On The Game’s Eve For First 12 Yrs

Sachin Tendulkar is undoubtedly one of the greatest cricketers of all times and some people are so crazy after him that they call him the God of cricket but you will be surprised to know that even this legendary cricketer has had anxiety issues. Recently in an interview, the former Indian player who is the only cricketer in the world to score 100 international hundreds talked about how he dealt with anxiety issues.

Sachin Tendulkar stated that for the first 12 years of his cricketing career, he was not able to get proper sleep on the eve of the match. He is of the opinion that if a person cares for something, there has to be some restlessness and in his case, he wanted to perform well on the field whenever he went to play. He further said that he used to fight with his sleep as he used to think about facing the bowlers, the way they would bowl and how he would answer them.

He got some relief after he accepted this and made himself understand that there was no problem with this feeling as it was how his mind and body were getting ready for the next match. After that, he didn’t have problem with remaining awake even at 12:30 am or 1:00 am in night, watching television or listening to music, etc.

Sachin Tendulkar says that acceptance is quite important for a sportsperson as it helps him in making peace with his restlessness. The 48 years old cricketer made himself believe that it was all a part of his preparation and soon he realized that it was normal.

The Bharat Ratna awardee also talked about restlessness which he experienced till the last test match of his career. In fact, he had a discussion about it with his brother Ajit Tendulkar but later on he thought as to what the need of the discussion was because if they bowl well, there would be no need of batting in the second innings.

“My Job Is More Dangerous, I Can’t Shoot With Mask On,” Says Akshay Kumar On Shooting Amid COVID

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar seems to be pretty excited as his upcoming movie “Bell Bottom” is going to release on Aug 19, 2021, in theatres. Recently in an interview, the actor opened up on the manner in which Bollywood changed its working style during the coronavirus pandemic.

He also talks about the star power and says that nowadays there is nothing like star power because in today’s time, the real power is in the script. He adds that the makers have many options nowadays and if he says no, there will be someone else who will be ready to work. Khiladi Kumar of B-Town says that today even the character artists who are liked by audiences don’t have dates and their schedule is completely packed.

As per the reports, there was time when the “Rustom” actor was juggling among 10 projects at the same time. He adds that he is not one of those actors who need a month or two in order to get into the skin of the character. According to Akshay, he starts a project, completes it and then starts working on the next one. He further says that he works eight hours per day and in Bollywood, it is he who takes maximum holidays but still he manages to release 3-4 movies per year because when work becomes passion for a person, he gets energy on his own.

Akshay Kumar also talks about his upcoming movie “Bell Bottom” and in regard to casting Lara Dutta for the role of Indira Gandhi, he says that he knows Lara Dutta for quite some time and he feels that she has the perfect poise needed for this role. He also revealed that when he talked about it with Lara for the first time, she thought that Akshay was playing a prank on her. When Akshay was asked as to why a senior actor was not casted for the role of Indira Gandhi, he gave example of Amitabh Bachchan and Rakhi who acted as husband and wife in “Bemisal” and then they also worked together in “Shakti” in which Rakhi played the role of Amitabh’s mother and both the movies worked pretty well on the box-office.

Talking about shooting during the coronavirus pandemic, Akshay Kumar says that his job is more dangerous than any other job because he can’t shoot with mask on in front of those who are saying dialogues. Speaking in a funny way, the “Padman” actor says that nobody has the permission to wear mask and while all of them are spitting on him, he is also spitting on all of them. He further states that other people on the set such as spot boy, technicians, etc. wear mask and though their job is dangerous, they have to do it.

Akshay Kumar is of the opinion that shutting down everything is not possible and though they are working, still there is a fear. He said that he was lucky enough to remain safe for more than one year and a half and then he got infected with COVID-19 but at the same time, he also states that for him, it is easy to sit at home as he has money but what about others who don’t have money as they have to work to earn their livelihood. While concluding, he adds that luck was certainly on their side as no one got infected during the shoot.
