Barmy Army Got Trolled For Tweet On 68-Yr Anderson Taking Jr. Kohli’s Wicket On First Ball In 2050

The second test match of the India-England 5-match test series will be played at Lord’s starting Aug 12 and hopefully rain won’t be affecting the game in the remaining series as the first test match which was played at Trent Bridge and ended in a draw due to the rain.

This series is not just a contest between the two teams but it is also a contest between the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and England pacer James Anderson who is still going very strong despite reaching the age of 39 years.

They both are quite competitive cricketers and while James Anderson troubled Virat Kohli a lot in 2014 as he dismissed the latter four times in five test matches, in 2018 when India visited England, the tables turned upside down as Virat Kohli made big scores in that series and James Anderson was not able to get him out even once.

However in the first test match of the series which was played at Trent Bridge, James Anderson won the contest against Virat Kohli as the English pacer sent the Indian skipper back to pavilion by getting him out for a golden duck.

England’s Barmy Army, the group which actively supports the England cricket team whether they play in England or overseas, took this as an opportunity to take a jibe at Virat Kohli.

Barmy Army made a tweet in which they posted a photo of 68 years old James Anderson, stating that he would be playing in that age as well and in the year 2050, he will dismiss Virat Kohli’s son on the first ball.

Barmy Army’s tweet read, “The year is 2050 and a 68 year-old Jimmy Anderson has taken his 1,500th Test Wicket snicking off Virat Kohli Jr first ball.”

Take a look at the pic tweeted by Barmy Army:

Here is the tweet:

The Indian cricket fans were quick to respond and they trolled Barmy Army in a perfect manner for trying to roast Virat. Here are some of the selected reactions:

There is no denying the fact that James Anderson is playing very well at an age when most of the pacers choose to take retirement and recently he has also become the third highest wicket-taker in the test cricket by crossing the 619 mark of the Indian spinner Anil Kumble but expecting him to play till 2050 is just like seeing a dream which will never come true. Agree?

What is your take on the tweet made by England’s Barmy Army?

Wondered What Was The Device That Few Spectators Were Wearing During INDvsENG & Why?

The first test match between India and England ended in a draw as rain didn’t let the final day game take place and it undoubtedly left cricket fans disappointed. There is no denying the fact that the spectators who visited the stadium to watch the match must be very upset as well but there was one unusual thing which was noticed in some of the spectators.

If you observed, some English spectators were seen wearing an earpiece. Wondered what was that?

Well, many people might think that they are for the purpose of reducing the unnecessary noise but in reality, they are mini radio sets through which the spectators can listen to the live commentary of the match.

With the new advancements in technology, spectators are also making sure that they follow the match in a proper manner and despite low signal strength and limited range of broadcast, it still helps the spectators in getting ball-by-ball insight of the ongoing match.

As far as the match is concerned, the toss was won by the England cricket team and though it decided to bat first, its decision backfired as the Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly and the English team managed to score only 183 runs in their first innings. The Indian side made a decent score of 278 runs in its first innings and the England cricketers made a comeback in the second innings as they scored 303 runs with the help of English skipper Joe Root’s century.

In its second innings, India needed to score 209 runs for winning the match out of which it scored 52 runs at the loss of one wicket and required 157 runs with nine wickets in hand but rain played spoilsport and the match ended in a draw.

Technology has certainly changed our lives to a great extent and these audio gadgets will definitely gain more prominence in the near future. Are you going to try them?

How This Indian Boy Proposed A Stranger German Girl Is The Best Thing On Internet Today

Love is one of the most beautiful feelings of the world and not everyone is blessed with true love. It is said that love knows no boundary, caste, country or religion and the Indo-German love story of an adorable couple that we are going to share here once again strengthens this statement.

We are talking about Julie and Arjun whose masala love story is no less than a Bollywood movie script. As the name suggests, Arjun is an Indian guy while Julie is a German girl; how they fell in love and eventually tied the knot is something that can give couples major relationship goals.

As far as their first meeting is concerned, Julie was on a visit to Dubai where she went to a beach to have some fun; she was dancing, swimming and having a great time on the beach when she was seen by Arjun who came with his friend because he had nothing else to do.

Arjun wanted to start conversation with the beautiful girl in pink bikini but as he was shy and didn’t have much experience of talking to girls, he was confused as to how to begin. Julie who was earlier swimming started floating on the water later on and Arjun her, “How do you do that?” She was puzzled in the beginning after listening to Arjun’s question as she thought that everyone could do that but it at least helped Arjun start a conversation with the girl whom he had started liking.

Julie found it a little weird when Arjun asked for her number and though she liked talking to him, she didn’t want to share her number with someone whom she met for the first time; hence she took Arjun’s number so that she might call if she wished to.

Arjun had to wait for a couple of days before he got Julie’s message and then they started chatting with each other. After chatting for 4-5 days, they both met and spent some quality time together on their first date. They both walked for hours looking for an Indian restaurant, Arjun introduced Julie with the Indian food, they went on the beach and on the same spot where they first met, they had their first kiss.

Julie was in Dubai for a fortnight originally but she stayed over there for more than a month and then came the time when she had to go back. Quite obviously, Arjun missed her a lot and they both continued to chat. After some time, she made plans to visit India and this was the happiest news for Arjun who spent hours in the airport when he went to pick her. They had a great time and Julie even celebrated her first ever Holi in India.

She had to go back to Germany and then she decided to apply for a job in Dubai as well as in Mumbai and luckily two weeks later, she got a job in Dubai where she made up mind to settle then. The couple stayed in Dubai for a year and then Arjun asked Julie if she wanted to meet his family to which she happily agreed.

She was shy and super excited to meet them yet she had a little fear that they might not accept her as she is not Indian but that was never an issue in their case. In fact, the meeting was a special and a perfect one for them all which brought a lot of moments of joy. They all liked Julie and vice-versa and she became a part of the family.

The couple decided to move to India and started preparing for the same including resigning from their jobs and making preparations to settle in India but then COVID came. So they got stuck in Dubai for 1 more year and this year in February, they finally came to India. They visited different places and it was in Agra that Arjun proposed Julie for marriage for which she naturally said “YES”!

They have shared their beautiful story in a YouTube video and here it is:

Indians Mercilessly Roasted Michael Vaughan For Saying Rain Saved India From Defeat

The former England skipper Michael Vaughan is a well-known personality among the Indian cricket fans because of his tweets and statements as most of the times he is quite critical of the Indian team. However, the Indian cricket fans leave no stone unturned in giving him a perfect reply whenever needed and the former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer also ensures that he doesn’t miss even a single chance to troll the former England cricketer.

Recently, Michael Vaughan was once again on the target of the Indian Twitterati because of a tweet that he made in regard to the first test match of the 5-match test series which is being played at Trent Bridge between India and England.

On the fifth day, India needed to achieve the target of 209 runs in order to win the match but when India was at 52/1 and they needed 157 runs with nine wickets remaining, the match was stopped due to rain and after that, no game took place because of which the match ended in a draw. Subsequently, Michael Vaughan took to Twitter and wrote that it seems as if rain is saving India.

Vaughan’s tweet read, “Looks like Rain may be saving Indian here … #ENGvIND”

The tweet was soon noticed by the Indian cricket fans and they slammed Michael Vaughan left and right. Undoubtedly, it was pretty clearly visible that the Indian team had a very strong chance of winning the match and such comment from a former cricketer was really unwanted. There were some Twitter users who in fact wanted that matches should not be organized in England as rain plays spoilsport many times and majority of the Twitter users stated that it is not India but England which is getting saved by the rain.
