James Anderson Speaks On Taking Virat Kohli’s Wicket, Says “I Don’t Care If I Get Him Out”

The first test match of the 5-match series between India and England will be starting today at Trent Bridge. It is certainly a very important series for both the teams as it is the first series of the World Test Championship 2021-23 and England will also try to take the revenge of the defeat that it tasted in India when it visited the country last and lost the series by 1-3.

This contest is not just between India and England but also between Virat Kohli who is touted as one of the greatest batsmen of the cricket world and the England pacer James Anderson. Both the cricketers are quite competitive and they don’t like anyone dominate them; however in 2014, it was Anderson who had an upper hand but then in 2018, Virat Kohli showed the world his sheer brilliance.

There is no denying the fact that the England cricket team understands the importance of Virat Kohli’s wicket and all the bowlers of English squad will like to take his wicket. Recently, the England pacer James Anderson has attended a virtual press conference and in regard to the question related with Virat Kohli, Anderson says that he is certainly very excited to play against him as he is definitely the best in the world. He also adds that who doesn’t like to challenge himself against the player of Virat’s caliber.

Anderson further says that they know the huge amount of influence that Virat has on his team as a skipper and as a batsman so he is certainly a big wicket but it doesn’t matter to him whether he takes Virat’s wicket or not because the main thing is to get him out irrespective of who the bowler is.

Talking about the playing conditions at Trent Bridge, James Anderson states that swing will play a big role in the game and it will be a good place to bowl if there are clouds or it is humid weather and the ball will carry easily to the keeper if there is grass on the pitch.

After BCCI, Now Even Corporate World Is Boycotting KPL, 11wickets.com Issues Press Release

India and Pakistan have not played any cricket bi-lateral series for quite a long time now as both the nations are not on good terms. Pakistan has always been promoting anti-Indian activities from its soil but this time the Indian government took a strong stand and made it clear to Pakistan that sports and anti-India activities can’t go together so there will be no cricket until Pakistan stops all the anti-India activities.

Cricket is certainly the most popular game in both the countries but now Pakistan is using this game for the purpose of spreading its international propaganda. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is organizing the franchise cricket tournament Kashmir Premier League (KPL) in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir starting from August 6 and it will end on Aug 17.

There will be total six teams – Rawalakot Hawks, Kotli Lions, Mirpur Royals, Overseas Warriors, Bagh Stallions and Muzaffarabad Tigers, which will be taking part in KPL and the matches will be played in the city Muzaffarabad which is in PoK. Some overseas cricketers along with the Pakistani cricketers are scheduled to take part in this league and now Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a strong stand against this league.

Recently, the former South African cricketer Hershelle Gibbs took to Twitter and alleged that BCCI had been pressurizing him not to take part in KPL. This is what he tweeted, “Completely unnecessary of the @BCCI to bring their political agenda with Pakistan into the equation and trying to prevent me playing in the @kpl_20 . Also threatening me saying they won’t allow me entry into India for any cricket related work. Ludicrous”.

After Hershelle Gibbs’ tweet, PCB also made a statement citing that BCCI is acting against the rules and regulations of ICC by interfering in the matter of its members. On the other hand, the BCCI spokesperson has slammed PCB and said that they are acting as confused people because BCCI holds all the rights to take decisions about the cricketing activities which are taking place in India.

As per reports, BCCI has made it clear to all the cricket boards that all those players who will be taking part in KPL will be banned from working in Indian cricket at any level. While PCB asked International Cricket Council (ICC) to recognize KPL, the apex body doesn’t seem to be in the mood of getting into this disputed matter and has refused to recognize it as an international tournament.

Now the corporates are also boycotting KPL and 11wickets.com, one of the leading sports online companies, has decided to boycott KPL as for them, the sovereignty and integrity of India comes first.

The company issued a press release in which it stated,

Unfortunately, this time we have decided to boycott a league going by the name Kashmir Premier League and recognized by Pakistan Cricket Board which is supposed to be held in August 2021 at Muzaffarabad stadium in Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

For us as a company, the sovereignty and integrity of India come first and are our top priority. In the past, we have supported sports & cricket in various developing nations like Zambia and Afghanistan by sponsoring and offering those leagues on our platform.

Going forward also we will be happy to support cricket & sports in various parts of the world which includes the state of Jammu & Kashmir subject to it is held under the rightful banner of BCCI and India.”

Well, this step from 11wickets.com proves that Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR is not just limited to spending money on various development projects but it has a larger role to play, like the one in this case.

“You Never See Sourav Ganguly Do That,” Anderson Speaks On Rishabh Pant’s Reverse Scoop Off Him

The Indian cricket team is all set to face the England side in the first test match of the 5-match series which will be played at Trent Bridge starting tomorrow. It is going to be a quite important series for both the sides as it is the first test series of the World Test Championship 2021-23. The England cricket team must be thinking of the revenge too as last time they played against India, they were defeated by 3-1 by the hosts despite the fact that England registered a huge victory by 227 runs in the first test match of the series.

The young Indian cricketers such as Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, etc. will play an important role in this series, especially Rishabh Pant as he performed well against England in the last series. In the four matches that he played, Pant scored 270 runs and his reverse sweep shot played at the bowling of England pacer James Anderson was certainly the most talked about shot played by any batsman in that series.

Usually batsmen try sweep or reverse sweep shots on spin bowling but Rishabh Pant played it at the bowling of James Anderson and this certainly speaks very high of his attitude and confidence that he has in his batting.

That shot was played by Pant in the final and the fourth match which was played at Narendra Modi stadium, Ahmedabad. The ball went for a four in the third region and it won’t be wrong to say that Rishabh Pant gave a shock to everyone by playing that shot. He also scored a century in that match which helped his team a lot in winning the game.

During an interview, James Anderson talked about the reverse sweep shot played by Rishabh Pant on his bowling. Anderson is of the opinion that the Indian Premier League has made the Indian young cricketers bold and fearless in their approach of playing the game. He adds that even Sourav Ganguly who is one of the finest batsmen of all times wouldn’t have tried playing such a shot and that too, with a new ball.

As per Anderson, it is also a challenge for the bowlers to face a batsman who is not afraid of taking aerial route in test matches or playing risky shots and get him out. He goes on to say that it is also good for viewers as they will get entertained more and the IPL generation of players will definitely bring a difference in style of playing as they are not afraid of playing any shot in any format of the game.

MS Dhoni will be back on the cricket field soon as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be organizing the second part of the IPL 2021 in UAE from September 19. The tournament originally took place in April earlier this year but it was postponed midway due to the coronavirus pandemic. As far as Dhoni’s team CSK is concerned, it performed well in the first half of the tournament as it was on the second position in the points table when the league got postponed.

BCCI’s Post Of Jasprit Bumrah Bowling In Nets Wearing A Batting Pad Confuses Twitter

The Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli is all set to face the England squad in the 5-match test series starting August 4 and quite obviously, the Indian players are sweating hard in the nets. The Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is an integral part of team India for quite a long time now and he will need to perform well if the Indian side has to win the series against England.

Presently, the Indian team is carrying out its net sessions at Trent Bridge where the first test match is scheduled to be played and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is making sure that fans also get a glimpse of how their players are preparing by sharing photos and videos on a regular basis on the social media networks.

However, recently BCCI shared a photo of Jasprit Bumrah on its official Twitter handle which left many fans confused as in the pic, Jasprit Bumrah was seen bowling in the nets but he was wearing batting pads as well.

The image was shared with the caption, “He is having a really busy session in the nets” with laughing emoji.

Soon fans also started commenting and while many thought that it is a new way of training, others commented that he is trying to improve his batting as he has not been able to perform well with ball in last few matches.

The Indian team has been facing problems in England because of few injuries as well; however Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav will be reaching England soon as the Sri Lankan tour has got over now. Groom Paid Money For Marriage, Bride Ran Away On The First Night After Wedding

Marriage is certainly one of the most important events of an individual’s life, while some people get married early in their lives without facing much difficulty in finding the right partner, there are many who are not able to get married due to various reasons.

A man by the name of Sonu Jain who is basically from Gormi which is in Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh, got cheated in the name of wedding as he paid money for the same but the bride ran away after tying the knot with him.

Sonu Jain was having problem in getting hitched because of which he promptly agreed to pay money to his acquaintance Udal Khatik who told him that he would help him (Sonu Jain) in getting married but he would have to pay Rs. 1 lakh. The deal was closed at Rs. 90,000 and recently, Udal Khatik introduced Sonu to a woman named Anita Ratnakar who was ready to marry Sonu. Anita visited Gormi along with Arun Khatik and Jitendra Ratnakar and soon Sonu and Anita got married in the presence of their relatives.

After the marriage ceremony, everyone went to sleep in their rooms while Arun and Jitendra slept outside the room of Sonu and Anita. Anita went to terrace in order to get some fresh air as she said that she was not feeling well but things turned ugly when she didn’t return for a long time and it was found that the bride was missing from the house. Anita fled from the house by jumping off the roof but she was caught by a policeman who was on the duty of night patrolling.

The groom Sonu Jain was quite upset with whatever happened and he registered a complaint in the police station, Gormi, in which he stated that he got cheated in the name of marriage. A case of fraud was filed against Uday Khatik, Anita Ratnakar, Arun Khatik and Jitendra Vardhan; police has already arrested 3 of them and further investigation is being carried out in this matter.

We feel pity for the groom and hope that he finds a suitable match soon without paying money for this purpose!

Ashutosh Rana Opens Up On Negative Roles, Reveals Why He Loves To Play Such Characters

Ashutosh Rana is certainly one of those few actors who can leave an impact in any role that they play. Moreover, he has always impressed us with his acting whether he has portrayed the role of a villain or of a father, etc.

The 54 years old actor has also won two Filmfare Awards for his acting performances in the movies – “Dushman” and “Sangharsh”. In both the flicks, Ashutosh Rana has played negative characters and recently in an interview, he discloses that he loves to play such complex characters because it helps him in becoming a better human being in real life.

As per Ashutosh Rana, there is certain type of edge and energy in the negative characters and when this energy goes up, it makes a person saint but if it goes down, the person is transformed into a devil and by playing negative characters, he gets the chance to understand these energies.

Ashutosh Rana also states that audiences feel more relatable with the characters that have grey shades because they have ups and downs while on the contrary, the character of a hero is just like a plateau and viewers don’t remember such characters.

He gives the example of Amitabh Bachchan’s role in “Deewar” and Sanjay Dutt’s character in “Vaastav”, saying that people remember such characters and completely black or white characters don’t impress them. Ashutosh Rana feels that there is more variation in negative characters and they crave to justify their existence.

He further adds that he doesn’t take acting as a profession only; in fact for him, it is also a way to attain salvation.
