Man Tries To Mock Someone’s English Grammar On LinkedIn, Gets Schooled In A Kickass Way

The English language is quite important in our country as a person needs to be proficient in English if he wants to get a good job in the corporate world. However, being proficient doesn’t mean that you are entitled to make fun of those who are weak in the English grammar.

Representational Image

Sahil Vaidya, the co-founder of The Minimalist, made a post on LinkedIn in which he made fun of someone who made an error in the English grammar. He posted, “When someone says, “Your screen is getting stucked, I cant able to it”, you wonder what to fix first: the screen or their grammar”.

While Sahil Vaidya may have made the post just to make his friend and followers laugh, it didn’t go well with Arti Gupta, the co-founder at StyleNook. She posted a long comment in which she wrote that the first thing that needed to be changed here is attitude and she also pointed out some errors in Vaidya’s English.

Her reply read, “Perhaps attitude may be the first thing to fix here.

Since we’re on the topic of grammar, here are some minor observations – a few things you may want to fix. The cant is missing an apostrophe – should be can’t. The comma needs to be before closing quotes, not after. And Co-Founder is incorrect grammar. Capitalization after hyphenation is a cardinal sin.

Jokes apart – it’s easy to poke fun at other people’s grammar. I would understand if this were a remark about a marketing tagline, but it is a jibe at someone trying to do their job and communicating clearly. As long as communication is lucid, in our time and age of a diverse and global economy, one is better off leaving judgment at the door.

Also, you’re missing a full stop in your statement. Just saying’!”

A Twitter user shared the screenshot of the post on the micro-blogging site Twitter with the caption, “This guy got schooled on Linkedin and how!!”

The tweet has gone viral and it has been liked by more than 17k users while around 2.5K people have retweeted it. Soon Twitterati started expressing their opinions in this regard and while some trolled Sahil Vaidya, few people pointed out that Arti Gupta is acting a little smart.

Randeep Hooda is certainly one of the finest actors of Bollywood and he has given some really great performances in movies such as “Highway”, “Sarbjit”, “Rang Rasiya”, etc. However, he is one of those few actors who are rarely seen in the award functions or Bollywood parties.

Recently, the “Kick” actor reveals why he is not interested in attending parties in an interview as he states that he doesn’t give much importance to awards and recognitions and he feels that he is a contractual professional.

Randeep Hooda is of the opinion that his job is just like any other job as he is a contractual professional who has to complete the contractual work that he has taken up. He further says that other than his job, he doesn’t interact much with the people of the industry and awards or recognitions hold no importance for him. He adds he tries to give as much as he can on any given day in his work to the best of ability and involvement.

As per Randeep Hooda, what matters the most for him is his work and the fame that he gets is just the by-product. Randeep Hooda made his debut in Bollywood with 2001 released “Monsoon Wedding” which was directed by Mira Nair. Planning A Wedding? Make It Unique With These 5 Ideas

Weddings! It’s an exciting time for any bride and bridegroom, from getting the flowers ready to looking forward to seeing great aunt Jane!

Don’t Go Bridezilla

Weddings involve a lot of planning and, although exciting, can be a stressful time, especially for the bride (and the bride’s long-suffering best friends!). One of the biggest stressors is creating a unique wedding, especially if you are trying to keep costs to a sensible level.

Luckily, though, many creative wedding ideas are out there to try, including these five below!

Get creative with your wedding hashtag!

A unique way to add a personal touch to your wedding is by creating a bespoke hashtag or using your own name as the hashtag.

There are two basic ways to do this: one way is by setting up a Twitter account just for the wedding and then creating an account on Tweetdeck to manage it. This allows you to make sure your bespoke hashtag is used throughout the day and by guests as they post their photos on social media.

You can also use the bespoke hashtag on your wedding invitations and other stationery items, which add a nice personal touch to your day!

Book amazing entertainment!

One thing that will really make your wedding unique is by booking some amazing entertainment. This could be a duo, a musical band, or a festival DJ. Whatever you go for, it’s sure to add a touch of sparkle to the day.

Always make sure you pick the Wedding Entertainment that you would like to listen to or be entertained by, and this also runs to picking songs and music that you like and the standard party set.

Have a wedding guestbook alternative!

Many people getting married now are part of an age group that doesn’t normally write a lot of letters, so perhaps you might want to find something else for them to leave their message upon.

Maybe you could have a photo booth with props? Or even better, ask them to record a video message for the happy couple that they can watch back when they return from their honeymoon.

Be creative! There’s more than one way of doing things, and you don’t have to stick with tradition.

Have a creative and unique bridal shower!

If you are having a bridal shower, why not do something different? You can have people bring you a gift that they have made themselves as opposed to store-bought items. This is especially nice for items such as the kitchen, such as other practical gifts you can use in your home.

This is probably something that can be done with a lot less expensive than having an elaborate party!

Have a wedding date that is different from the traditional one!

If you are having your wedding in a religious building or anywhere else that doesn’t have a standard date, research the times of weddings at the place.

You could also look at doing something unique with the time, for example, if most people will be arriving after 10:00 am, but your family and friends are coming over from a long way, and they can’t get there until after 12:00 pm, what would you do?

Deepak Chahar’s Ghajini Look Becomes Talk Of Twitter After His Superb Knock In INDvsSL 2nd ODI

Deepak Chahar, the young Indian cricketer, became the Internet sensation after he scripted the Indian victory in the second ODI against Sri Lanka which was played at the R. Premdasa Stadium, Colombo. Deepak Chahar is a pacer who also bats lower down the order but yesterday he gave an all-round performance as he not only played a superb knock of 69 runs but also took two wickets.

Batting first, the hosts put up a score of 275/9 on the board but the Indian batting line-up fumbled a little in the second ODI and there was a time when India was 193/7 with 83 runs to chase in 14.5 overs. Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar batted sensibly and ensured that India attained victory in the series by winning the second ODI. While Deepak Chahar scored 69 runs not out in his fighting knock for which he faced 82 deliveries, Bhuvneshwar Kumar kept the other end secured by playing supportive innings of 19 runs not out in 28 deliveries.

After the win, while many social media users praised Deepak Chahar for his “never say die” attitude, there were some who brought everyone’s attention on the new hairstyle of the cricketer.

Deepak Chahar’s new hairstyle is quite similar to the hairstyle of a character which was played by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan in the movie “Ghajini”.

That character had a medical condition of short-term memory loss because of which he used to forget everything and the online users are saying in a funny spirit that because of his hairstyle, Deepak Chahar forgot that he is a bowler and played a superb innings like a top-order batsman.

The third and the final ODI of the series will be played on July 23 and while the Indians will hope to make a clean sweep, the Sri Lankans will certainly try their best to save some respect by winning this match.

Rahul Dravid Again Rules Twitter After India’s Smashing Victory Against Sri Lanka In 2nd ODI

The Indian cricket squad has taken an unassailable lead in the 3-match ODI series by 2-0 after registering a sensational win in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. The team which was given the tag of the second string squad by the former Sri Lankan skipper Arjuna Ranatunga proved that this team may lack experience in comparison to the team which is being headed by Virat Kohli but it doesn’t lack determination and grit.

The second ODI was also played at R. Premdasa stadium and after winning the toss, the hosts decided to bat first. The start of the Sri Lankan innings was pretty good as their openers Avishka Fernando (50) and Minod Bhanuka (36) produced a partnership of 77 runs for the first wicket. Charith Asalanka (65) and Chamika Karunaratne (44) also made useful contributions which helped the Sri Lankan team in posting a total of 275/9 on the score board. For the Indian side, the vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took 3-3 wickets each while Deepak Chahar dismissed two Sri Lankan batsmen.

The target was not that big but this time, the Sri Lankan bowlers were prepared in a better manner and they didn’t let the Indian openers Prithvi Shaw (13) and Shikhar Dhawan (29) bat as freely as they did in the first ODI. Ishan Kishan who scored a brilliant half-century in the first ODI got out on the score of 1 but Suryakumar Yadav once again played a responsible innings of 53 runs. While Hardik Pandya was not able to open his account, Krunal Pandya got out at 35 but Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar ensured that the Indian squad wins the series by attaining victory in the second ODI.

There was a time when team India had lost 7 wickets at the score of 193 and it felt as if the hosts would level the series but Deepak Chahar played a smashing knock of 69 runs not out for which he played 82 balls and his innings included 7 fours and 1 six. He was well supported by Bhuvneshwar Kumar who scored 19 runs not out and India achieved the target with 5 balls remaining in their innings.

Deepak Chahar was adjourned as the Player of the Match for his superb knock and 2 wickets. During the presentation ceremony, he says that there can’t be a better way than this to win the match for the nation and this is what a player dreams of when he starts playing for the country. He added that he was told by the head coach Rahul Dravid that he should play all the deliveries and as he played some useful knocks of India A in the past, Dravid had faith in him and told him that he can be the no. 7 in the team.

Chahar further said that as the Indian team has a wonderful batting lineup, he may not even get a chance to bat in the coming games and this was his first time in such a pressure situation. While talking about chasing the target, he said that they played ball by ball and it was only after the target came under 50, he started playing big shots.

While the social media users praised Deepak Chahar for his sensational knock, netizens and cricket lovers also appreciated Rahul Dravid for his guidance.

Kriti Kharbanda Revealed How A Boy Clicked Her Photo Without Consent & Then Married Her Friend

There is no denying the fact that school time is the best time of our lives and we cherish the memories of that golden phase forever. While there are some good memories, some unpleasant and awkward incidents are also associated with it which make us feel embarrassed or uncomfortable whenever we think about them.

The beautiful Bollywood actress Kriti Kharbanda recently shared an incident which took place when she was in the 12th standard. She stated that she went to attend a college festival in an all-boys college where she taught a boy a good lesson. At that time, camera phones were introduced in the market and a boy clicked her photo without even taking her permission. She went to that boy and asked him to hand over the smartphone at once in a threatening style.

The “Pagalpanti” actress further said that after taking his phone, she took him to the headmaster where she gave the phone to the headmaster and warned the boy that he did it that day but must not dare to do it next time.

After 5-6 years, Kriti went to attend the wedding of her friend and she wished the couple on the stage. When the groom asked the bride about Kriti as he had never met her, the bride told him that she was the same girl who took his smartphone and handed over to the headmaster.

Though Kriti didn’t recognize the groom, she felt a little bad after she came to know about what happened between her and the groom.

“People Become Legends When They Retire, Virat Is Already A Legend At 30,” Yuvraj Lauds Kohli

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is presently in England where he will lead the Indian team in the 5-match test series against England and the Indian fans are really hoping to see him play some great innings and lead his team in winning the series.

Virat Kohli is touted as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Times) by his fans and the Indian squad has also performed well under his leadership. However, some fingers were raised on his captaincy when team India lost the finals of the World Test Championship against New Zealand.

Virat Kohli is admired by not just his fans but also many people of the cricket fraternity including the former cricketers of India and other countries.

Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer who is undoubtedly one of the finest all-rounders that India has ever produced, is also a great admirer of Virat Kohli and during an interview with a leading daily, Yuvi talked about Kohli in a little detail.

Yuvraj said that Virat Kohli who was the skipper of the U-19 World Cup winning team got selected in the Indian team when he was just 22 years old but still he managed to secure his place despite facing many ups and downs in his career. Virat was a part of the 2011 World Cup winning team and Yuvraj Singh said that if a batsman wants to score runs on a consistent basis, he has to improve himself every day.

Yuvraj Singh stated that Virat Kohli was scoring runs at a good speed when he was appointed as the skipper. He adds that sometimes the performance of a player gets affected in a negative manner when he is appointed as the skipper but Virat’s consistency has got better and he has achieved a lot even at the age of 30. Yuvi says that the players become legends after they retire but Virat Kohli has already become a legend at the age of 30 and hopefully he will finish with more accomplishments as he is still very young.

Yuvraj Singh also talked about Virat’s hard work and discipline and said that it was really great to see his growth. Yuvi said that he saw Virat training and he was certainly the hardest worker and a very disciplined one as far his diet and training are concerned. According to Yuvi, Virat has the attitude of proving that he is the best player of the world and it was clearly visible when the RCB skipper used to score runs. Yuvi said that Kohli has the swag of the world’s best player and his hard work has resulted in him dominating the cricket world.

We certainly agree with Yuvraj Singh! What about you?
