Chhichhore Co-Star Prateik Babbar Reveals Sushant’s One Wish That Remained Unfulfilled

Sushant Singh Rajput, the Bollywood actor whom we lost on June 14 last year, is still very much alive in the hearts of his fans and friends. The “Kedarnath” actor was found hanging his Bandra apartment and it was also said that he was undergoing treatment for depression at that time. Sushant’s last theatrical release was “Chhichhore” which was a huge success at the box-office and the critics also praised the performance of Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie.

Recently, actor Prateik Babbar who was also a part of “Chhichhore” opened up about his experience of working with Sushant in the film and also revealed that there is one wish which Sushant was not able to fulfill.

Prateik Babbar said that he was really lucky that he got the chance to work with SSR even if it was just for one movie and talking about “Chhichhore”, he said that it was a special movie for not just him but the whole team. Prateik also told that he and Sushant knew each other before working together in the flick as they met each other on certain occasions and he also met Sushant at gym few times.

Prateik Babbar added that his experience of working with Sushant was very less but SSR had an aura which was something that Prateik didn’t notice in any other person from Bollywood and this is what made him stand apart from others. He also stated that they spent time together only while rehearsing and shooting the scenes together for the movie.

As per the “Darbar” actor, Sushant was a fun-loving and easy going person who liked to talk to people and ensured that they also enjoy but there were times when he used to shift in his own world. Prateik Babbar also revealed that SSR liked to talk about quantum physics, planets, etc. but there was one wish which remained unfulfilled.

Talking about that wish, Prateik said that Sushant wanted to visit Antarctica after shooting the movie. He said that he was left surprised after hearing this wish as he never thought that anyone would like to visit Antarctica; however, Sushant was unique and he had choices which were quite different from what the common people want.

SSR will always be missed!

Twitter User Leaks DM Chat With Sanjay Manjrekar In Which He Said, “Jadeja Doesn’t Know English”

The former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar and controversies go hand in hand and he often does something which makes him a target of trolls and hate comments. It’s an open secret that he has always been quite critical of the Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and in 2019, things turned uglier when he called Ravindra Jadeja a “bits and pieces” cricketer and now he is in the center of one more controversy.

During the 2019 ICC World Cup when India lost a match against England by 31 runs, the Indian coach Sanjay Bangar said while talking about the next match against Bangladesh that Ravindra Jadeja would be a part of the playing squad. Jadeja’s inclusion in the playing XI did not go well with Sanjay Manjrekar as he considered Jadeja a pure bowler in the test cricket. Manjrekar said that he is not a big fan of the bits and pieces cricketer which Jadeja is so he would have preferred to have a batsman and a spinner in the 50 over cricket match rather than including Jadeja in the team.

Well, India may have lost the semi-final to New Zealand but it was Ravindra Jadeja along with MS Dhoni who kept the hopes of India alive after the Indian team had a disastrous start while chasing target of 240. Jadeja scored 77 runs in that match and he also chose to respond to Majrekar’s bits and pieces cricketer comment by telling him that he had enough of his verbal diarrhea. Jadeja also tells Manjrekar that he has played twice the number of matches that Manjrekar has played and he is still playing.

In the present times, Ravindra Jadeja is an integral part of the Indian team across all the formats but Sanjay Manjrekar has once again found himself surrounded with a controversy in regard to the same matter.

Recently, a Twitter user posted the screenshots of personal chats that he had with Sanjay Manjrekar in which the former cricketer is slamming the online user for worshipping players. Manjrekar also says that Ravindra Jadeja doesn’t know English because of which he must not be knowing the meaning of bits and pieces and someone must have spelt verbal diarrhea for him.

Here are the screenshots:

The Twitter user shared the screenshots with the caption, “I didn’t want to share this personal chat in public, even though it’s full to sh*t. But couldn’t help, coz people need to know this side of this man. @imjadeja would be proud of what he did to prove you wrong. @BCCI is this the kind of man you would want in your com panel in future?”

There have not been many days when Sanjay Manjrekar created controversy by saying that Ravichandran Ashwin, the Indian spinner who has been the leading wicket taker in the last decade in the whole cricket world, doesn’t deserve to be in the list of all-time greats in his opinion.

What is your take in this matter? Do let us know.

Man Asks Journo To Work On Pronunciation & Improve It, Her Response Wins The Internet

There is no denying the fact that in our society, a person who knows English language and who can speak in English in a proper manner is given more respect than the person who is not is not so good or fluent in English. Our education system also lays a lot of importance on learning English and we have developed a mindset as per which only those who are proficient in English will achieve success in life which is definitely not true.

Representational Image

Nowadays, the inclination of people has increased towards speaking English in foreign accent as they want to present themselves as a sophisticated individual. The mother tongue influence is pretty common in the speaking style of the Indians depending on the state to which they belong and it sometimes affect our accent a lot while speaking in English. This is why nowadays a lot of emphasis is being laid on the pronunciation of words by the English teachers but still many of us find it difficult to get rid of our mother tongue influence and it is clearly visible in our speaking style.

Recently, a journalist was trolled by an online user on the micro-blogging site Twitter as the user asked the journo to work on her pronunciation. Well, the reporter mostly talked in Hindi in the video but she did use some English words and we are not sure whether the online user was asking her to improve her pronunciation regarding Hindi or English.

It all started when Jyoti Yadav, the correspondent of The PostPrint India, answered questions of subscribers and gave them an insight of the process of making a ground report. The information regarding the video was given on Twitter and there a person praised Jyoti for her work but asked her to improve her pronunciation.

The online user wrote, “You have done a tremendous work by covering these two big states, however please work on your pronunciation if you can because it’s needed.”

Soon the tweet was noticed by the reporter and she responded by saying that this was not the first time she had been asked to improve her pronunciation but as she had been brought up in village, she was not able to attend convent or English medium schools. Though she apologised for her accent, she also made it clear that her accent had nothing to do with the ground reporting that she did during the coronavirus pandemic.

Netizens were also not happy with the online user and here is how they reacted:

“We Did Not Want To See Each Other,” MSK Prasad On Heated Arguments With Virat & Ravi Shastri

The job of an Indian cricket selector is a very tough one as it is not easy to choose some players from a big pool of talented players and then bear the brunt of those who are not happy with the selection decisions. As India is a cricket crazy nation, almost every cricket fan considers himself as an expert and feels that it is his right to raise fingers on the decision made by the Indian selectors.

The former chief selector MSK Prasad has been targeted many times by the cricket fans during his tenure which started in 2016 and ended in 2020. The decisions that were taken by MSK Prasad led selection committee and attracted a lot of controversy were dropping Yuvraj Singh and giving preference to Vijay Shankar over Ambati Rayudu for the team which played the 2019 ICC World Cup.

MSK Prasad was also targeted more because he has played only 23 international games and many cricket fans were of the opinion as to how a person with so less international experience has been made responsible for selecting players who have played many more matches than him.

Two important cricketing events that took place during MSK Prasad’s tenure and in which he was involved in the team selection were 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and 2019 ICC World Cup. The 46 years old former selector talked about his heated discussions with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and the head coach Ravi Shastri during an interview with a cricket portal.

MSK Prasad said that many times he had heated arguments with Virat and Ravi Shastri and things turned so ugly that they used to avoid seeing each other’s faces after the meeting. However the next day when they used to meet again, things got back to normal and they not only greeted and talked to each other but also tried to make the other person understand the essence of the point they made.

MSK Prasad asks as to why he should blame someone publicly as he never talks about his family members in public with whom he has differences and the Indian cricket team is also like a family to him. He further states that he has convinced Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri many times on certain issues and he knows how to manage as he was a management student.

In 2020, MSK Prasad was replaced by the former Indian cricketer Sunil Joshi. Talking about the Indian team, it is presently serving their quarantine period in England where they will be playing the finals of the World Test Championship against New Zealand starting from June 18.

Rashid Khan Discloses Dhoni’s Important Advice, “Keep This In Mind, I Tell Jadeja Same Thing”

The Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan is famous not just in his own country but in India too because of his association with the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2017. The young spinner is very active on the social media platforms and ensures that he does not miss the chance of having some fun by trolling his friends from the cricket world just like he trolled the Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal when he posted a video with his wife in which he said that every spinner should get married as he learned googly from his wife.

The 22 years old Afghani spinner is a great admirer of the former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni who is also one of the best skippers who have played for India till now. Recently while speaking on a YouTube show, Rashid Khan shared a chat which he had with Mahi after an IPL match. Rashid said that the discussions he had with MS Dhoni after the match helped him a lot.

As per the Afghanistan cricketer, Mahi told him that while fielding, he gets aggressive sometimes because of which he slides and throws the ball when it is not needed. MS Dhoni further told Rashid that there is only one Rashid Khan and people like to see more of him playing but what if he gets injured. Mahi further adds that Rashid should be careful while fielding and he tells the same thing to Ravindra Jadeja as well.

Rashid Khan is also very impressed with Dhoni’s captaincy style and dreams of playing under him some day as he feels that playing under Mahi can be very beneficial for him. The Afghani spinner adds that the role of a wicket-keeper is very important for a bowler and according to him, there is no one who can explain the things in a better manner than MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni has taken retirement from the international cricket but he is still leading his IPL team Chennai Super Kings with which he has been associated since the inaugural edition of 2008. CSK was doing pretty well in the IPL 2021 until the tournament got postponed due to COVID-19 but now it is being heard that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made all the arrangements to conduct the remaining matches of the league in UAE.

Twitter Sparks With Hilarious Meme Fest As Some States Announce Unlock

When we all thought that we have defeated the coronavirus pandemic, just then it returned with the second wave which was even more harmful than the first one and once again, many lives were lost, many people lost their livelihood and what was more devastating was the fact that the speed of spreading was also higher this time.

The state governments tried to control the virus without imposing lockdown as they knew that economy was already not in a good position and lockdown would further make things difficult. However, almost all the states imposed lockdown or stricter restrictions in order to break the chain of the COVID-19 virus as it is contagious in nature and this time it came with other medical problems such as black fungus, white fungus, yellow fungus, etc.

The situation is now far better than what it was one month earlier but still the state governments of some states such as Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Kerala, etc. are in no mood to take any risk and they have extended the lockdown by the mid of June, though they have given some relaxations. Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi and Maharashtra have now started the unlock process but the governments have asked their citizens to follow the COVID-19 protocol strictly otherwise they may again impose lockdown if the cases of COVID-19 begin to increase again.

Twitterati have got enough fodder for having some fun post the announcement of unlock and here are some of the hilarious reactions:

Sanjay Manjrekar Explains His ‘All-Time Great’ Remark On Ravi Ashwin After Getting Slammed

There is no denying the fact that Sanjay Manjrekar is one of those former cricketers who like to attract controversy by making bold statements which are contrary to the opinion of majority of the Indian cricket lovers. Many times he has been quite critical of Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and has been trolled by netizens in a merciless manner for the same; in fact in one instance, the Gujarat cricketer got so annoyed that he also slammed Manjrekar.

Recently, Sanjay Manjrekar was again on the target list of the Indian cricket lovers after he made the statement that in his opinion, Ravichandran Ashwin doesn’t deserve to be in the list of “all-time greats” as of now.

Now if we talk about Ravichandran Ashwin, he is undoubtedly one of the finest off-spinners of the present times and he is also the leading wicket taking spinner of the last decade. Ravichandran Ashwin made his debut in 2011 at the international level and since then, he has played 78 test matches, 111 ODIs and 46 T20Is in which he has taken 409, 150 and 52 wickets, respectively. The total number of wickets that he has taken since 2011 is 611 which is the highest by any bowler; England’s James Anderson comes second as he has taken 559 wickets in the same time period.

R Ashwin has also been adjudged as the Player of the Series in the test matches which is also a record. Not just this, he has also contributed in a decent manner with the bat too as he has 5 international test centuries and 11 test fifties to his name. However, Sanjay Manjrekar feels that all this is not enough for the 34 years old Tamil Nadu cricketer to get a place in the list of all-time greats.

In order to clarify his stance, Sanjay Manjrekar talked about the performance of Ashwin in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) countries where the off-spinner hasn’t taken a fifer yet. While Sanjay Manjrekar is of the opinion that Ravindra Jadeja has performed at par with Ashwin in overseas conditions, he also praises Axar Patel for taking more wickets than Ashwin in the test series played against England at home.

Manjrekar made a tweet recently in which he explained his concept of all-time great. He wrote,

“‘All- time great’ is the highest praise & acknowledgement given to a cricketer. Cricketers like Don Bradman, Sobers, Gavaskar, Tendulkar, Virat etc. are all time greats in my book. With due respect, Ashwin not quite there as an all-time great yet. 🙏

#AllTimeGreatExplained😉
