The Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been spending some quality time with his family at the moment as he hasn’t been selected in the Indian squad for the finals of the World Test Championship which will be followed by the 5-match test series against England. Yuzi is one of those cricketers who are very active on the social media networks as he not only shares updates regarding his personal and professional lives but also loves to make funny videos for entertaining his fans.
Recently, Yuzi along with his wife Dhanashree Verma posted a video on his official Instagram handle in which they spoke about their arrival on another video app. In the clip, Yuzi is heard saying that every spinner should get married and in response, Dhanashree states that getting married is fine but why every spinner. In order to clear Dhanashree’s confusion, Yuzi says that because he has learned googly from his wife.
Here is the video:

Soon fans and followers started commenting on the video and some of them also praised the chemistry of Chahal and Dhanashree. However, the comment that got all the attention was from another spinner and Afghani cricketer Rashid Khan. Rashid is also very popular in India because of his association with the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad and he also shares a good camaraderie with many Indian cricketers. Talking about the comment, Rashid Khan wrote that he knows googly without getting married with three laughing emojis.
Rashid is also pretty active on the social media handles and keeps on reacting to the posts of other cricketers. Yuzi and Rashid both were seen in the IPL 2021 playing cricket until the tournament was postponed due to COVID-19. While Rashid Khan is an integral part of SRH, Chahal has been associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore for quite a long time now.
Though Yuzvendra Chahal did not get the call for the WTC and the India-English series, he must be hoping to get a call for the Sri Lankan tour which will take place in July.

Every job aspirant wants to get his dream job and he does a lot of hard work for it but it is not so easy as there is cut-throat competition among the candidates. In such a scenario, the chances of a person to get the dream job will increase manifold if he proves himself better, more innovative and creative than the other candidates.
Representational Image
Nowadays, social media platforms have given us a chance to express ourselves in a far better manner than the older days and we can use them to display our strengths and skills. In the modern times, some of the candidates have chosen not to apply for a job by sending the two-page curriculum vitae but they are thinking out-of-the-box and coming up with creative ways which are making it tough for the employers to ignore them.
You must have heard about Cred, an organization which gives rewards to its customers when they pay their credit card bills on time and also provide them with various offers. Recently, it stole all the limelight because of the advertisement in which the former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid was featured and now it is once again making headlines in the social media networks because of a person named Avkash Shah who wants to do internship in Cred.
Avkash Shah is basically from Mumbai and he is a 3D Graphic designer who wanted to do internship in Cred. Like everyone else he didn’t apply with the same old method but posted a 3D motion video on Linkedin with the caption, “I want to intern at CRED. Here’s my application. I figured that if I was going to apply, I’d make something worth it. It pays to be good. Cc: Kunal Shah Harish Sivaramakrishnan”
Soon the motion video was viewed by Cred founder Harish Sivaramakrishnan and Avkash Shah was offered internship at Cred.
It seems that a new trend will start now as people will try to be more creative while applying for a job. Good luck Avkash Shah.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recently announced the list of the players who will be a part of the squad which will go on the tour to England and West Indies. In the month of July, the Pakistani cricket team will be playing 3 T20Is and the same number of ODIs in England and after that, the Men in Green will be visiting West Indies where they will play 5 T20Is and 2 test matches.
However, the former Pakistani cricketer turned commentator Ramiz Raja is not happy with the selection policy of Pakistani Cricket Board as he has stated that he is not able to understand the manner in which PCB carries out slotting and selection of the players. Ramiz Raja is also displeased with the fact that the young cricketers are getting neglected while the old players are not only getting selected but they are also playing matches.
While speaking on his YouTube channel, Ramiz Raja says that he is not able to understand the slotting and selection as the PCB chooses many young and uncapped players during the selection and the board gets all the praises for selecting a team considering the future but then these young players are not given the chance to play in matches. He compares the situation of the young players with an all-decked bride who returns without getting married. Raja further states that then suddenly the old players are recalled and they play the matches while the youngsters are not given chances.
He has also talked about the 36 years old Tabish Khan who made his debut in the tour of Zimbabwe but then he is not included in the team which will go on the West Indies tour. He questions the thought process of the PCB as to why they have given a 36-YO player a chance to make his debut in test matches if they are not including him in the future matches. Tabish Khan is the oldest debutant in the last 66 years in the history of the Pakistani cricket.
Ramiz Raja also states that the PCB is pretty confused when it comes to the selection policy and they are also not able to judge the quality of a cricketer. He talks about Salman Ali who was selected for the test squad but he got the chance to play in the ODIs. Raja says that either the selection of Salman Ali is wrong or his selection for ODI is not correct and it happens only because PCB is not able to understand the quality of a player.
Do you agree with Ramiz Raja? What are your views in this connection?

A person should be careful while using the social media networks otherwise he may get into trouble for a mistake which he might have made long time back.
The English cricketer Ollie Robinson has made his dream debut in the test match against New Zealand as he has taken 4 wickets in the first innings and in the second innings also, he has been performing well with 3 wickets. However now he may not be playing the second test match despite performing so well because the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) may impose a fine or ban or a combination of both on him because of the racist and s*xist tweets that he made in 2012.
Just before the first test match, the cricket teams of England and New Zealand came together for Moment of Unity and pledged that they would condemn each and every act of racism. Soon the old tweets of Ollie Robison went viral in which he made racist and s*xist comments and created an embarrassing situation for ECB. Though Ollie Robinson has issued an apology for the remarks that he made 8 years ago and tried to convince the public by saying that he is neither racist nor s*xist, this storm doesn’t seem to settle down soon.
If things go like this, it is also possible that some senior English cricketers such as Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler may also feel the heat as they have made fun of the Indian English in the past on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Many Indians are not good in the English language and they speak and write broken English and both these cricketers mocked the Indian English in the past.
As both these cricketers have been associated with the IPL for quite a long time, such behaviour was not liked by the Indian fans and they demanded an action against them. Another person who may also face consequences because of his old tweets is the former New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum.
Here are some old tweets of Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler and Brendon McCullum in which they have made fun of the Indian English:
Let’s see whether this issue will be dealt strictly by the ECB and the concerned cricket boards or it will be left unaddressed. What are your views in this regard?

The Indian cricket team is presently in Southampton where it is scheduled to play the finals of the World Test Championship against the New Zealand team beginning from June 18. The match will also be seen as a battle between the two best captains of the present times – Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson and at the same time, it will be interesting to see how the pacers will take advantage of the green tracks in the finals.
While the Indian pace battery will be led by Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah, the Kiwi team also has good pace bowlers such as Trent Boult, Kylie Jamieson, Tim Southee, etc.
Many overseas players have been a part of the Indian Premier League and New Zealand cricketer Trent Boult is also associated with the IPL team Mumbai Indians in the present times. A number of cricket fans feel that as Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult play for Mumbai Indians together and share a good camaraderie, they may not be able to be as aggressive as they should be in the finals of the World Test Championship.
However, the former Australian pacer Brett Lee doesn’t feel in the same manner as in a press release, he has stated that friendship doesn’t come in between of national duties. He adds that both Bumrah and Boult are world class cricketers and seeing them bowling with Duke balls will be great fun in the English conditions.
Brett Lee states that before stepping on the field and after coming out of the ground, things will be different as on the field, it will be a battle because they are playing for the nation and nothing can change it.
While the Indian team has reached Southampton couple of days ago, the Kiwis are already playing the first test match of the two-match test series against England and seem to have an upper hand over the hosts. There is no denying the fact that playing two test matches against England will give ample time to the Kiwi players to get adjusted to the English conditions and the Indian cricket team will need to ensure that they don’t make many mistakes otherwise they may lose their chance of winning the WTC.

Rashid Khan, the cricketer from Afghanistan, is undoubtedly one of the finest leg-spinners of the world and he has become quite famous all over the globe because of his superb bowling as well as good sense of humour.
Rashid who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL is also pretty active on the social media networks and keeps on interacting with his fans and followers on a regular basis. Just few days ago, fans got to know that he is also a good singer when he uploaded a video in which he was seen singing. Recently, the SRH cricketer conducted a Question & Answer session on Instagram in which he answered many questions related to various issues.
During this Q&A session, one follower asked him about his marriage plans to which Rashid Khan gave a very funny reply which again showed his wittiness. The fan asked, “Shadi kab kar rahe ho?” (When are you getting married?)
Quite interestingly, the 22 years old cricketer asked a question in return instead of giving a reply and it read, “Apko ana hai??” (Do you want to come [in the marriage]??)
Rashid Khan has been news lately because of his decision of not taking up the captaincy as he is of the opinion that his bowling performance may get affected if he has to think about things as a skipper too. In one of the interviews, Rashid Khan states that the team is presently looking at the ICC T20 World Cup which is going to take place later this year so he doesn’t want to let his bowling get affected due to any reason. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has appointed Rashid Khan as the vice-captain of the T20 team and they will be announcing the name of the skipper soon.
Rashid Khan is an integral part of the Afghanistan cricket team and he will have to perform well if the Afghanistan team has to achieve some success in the T20 World Cup.

There is no denying the fact that we humans have damaged the environment to a great extent in the name of development and it seems that the veteran Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla suddenly got worried about the environment and she decided to file a petition against the rollout of 5G by the telecom companies in the country.
Juhi Chawla along with Veeresh Malik and Teena Vachani filed the petition in the Delhi HC and the hearing on this matter was carried out in a virtual manner. These three stated that they are against the 5G rollout because, “no person, animal, bird, insect, and plant on Earth will be able to avoid exposure, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to radiation 10x to 100x times greater than what exists today.”
However, one mistake that Juhi Chawla committed was that she shared the link of the hearing with her fans and few of them interrupted the court hearing by singing famous songs of Juhi’s movies. The court observed that the plea was filed for the purpose of publicity and the Justice Jag Jivan Ram Midha also referred to the sharing of link in support of the statement. The court also ordered three of them to pay a fine of Rs. 20 lakh as they have used the process of law for wrong purposes and also wasted the time of the court.
The online community was already making fun of Juhi Chawla for filing a plea against 5G and after the court’s decision, Twitterati went berserk and the micro-blogging site was flooded with memes and jokes in this regard. Here are some of the selected reactions that will make you go ROFL:
