David Warner Shares Recreated Version Of Allu Arjun’s “Ramulo Ramulo”, Gets Trolled By Wife

The Australian cricketer David Warner has gone through a tough phase in the IPL 2021 as he was not able to perform well himself and under his leadership, Sunrisers Hyderabad also performed pretty badly. Things turned out so unfavourable that the SRH management had to take the difficult decision of removing David Warner not just from the captaincy but from the team as well and Kane Williamson was appointed as the new skipper of SRH. The Hyderabad franchise was at the bottom of the points table as it was able to win only one match in the seven matches that it played before the IPL 2021 was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

David Warner is presently serving his 14-day quarantine in a hotel in Sydney and he is making the full use of the time as he is posting videos of himself transformed into an Indian movie star in a special scene or song sequence.

Some time ago, he transformed himself into southern actor Dhanush and the video was liked a lot by his fans.

Now once again he has shared a video in which he has transformed himself into another southern star Allu Arjun and performed on his famous song “Ramulo Ramula” which is from the movie “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo”.

Here is the video which Warner posted with the caption, “One post and I get a million requests!! Do we know this?? One of my favourite songs #india #music #telugu @alluarjunonline”:

As soon as David Warner posted this video, fans started commenting and appreciating the cricketer for entertaining them but there was one person whose comment was noticed the most by everyone as she is none other than David Warner’s wife Candice Warner.

Candice trolls her 34 years old husband by asking him whether he is bored in quarantine.

In response, David Warner also gives a funny reply and says that now he understands how Candice must have felt with him. He also adds that 14 days with him is a torture and he is sending himself crazy.

After the IPL 2021 got postponed, the Australian cricketers travelled to Maldives as there was a travel ban imposed in Australia on the people who fly from India. David Warner will be able to meet his family after completing the 14-day quarantine and he has also been selected for the West Indies tour which will take place in July where Australia will be playing 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.

How did you find the video? Entertaining, isn’t it?

Girl Tweets “Sarso Ka Khet” Is A Perfect Place For Romantic Date, Twitter Reacts

In the times of the coronavirus pandemic, we have been forced to remain indoors in order to save ourselves from the lethal virus which is contagious in nature. In such critical times, going out on date with your partner is something about which you can only dream of. However while staying at home also, the lovebirds can have some fun by organizing a candle light dinner at home or by watching movies or TV together while enjoying snacks.

Representational Image

But still going out on a romantic date is being missed by many and every person has his own definition of a romantic date. While some like to go out for trekking together, few prefer to watch a movie in a theatre and several others like to go for a long drive or walk on the beach and so on.

Recently, a Twitter user suggested people to go on a date in a field of flowers and spend some quality time with your partner on the mattress surrounded by flowers.

The location certainly gave a feel of a scene sequence from Shah Rukh and Kajol starrer “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” (DDLJ).

While it really looked like a perfect location for a dream date, Twitterati soon went berserk and made her realise that in just five minutes, the mosquitoes, insects and bugs will make her regret the decision of choosing that location for romantic date. There were some who were also unhappy with the fact that the flowers will be damaged for laying down the mattress in the field.

Chris Cooke Hilariously Crashed The Stumps Against Kent In County Championship, See The Video

The county cricket is going on in full swing in England and a funny incident took place during the match which is being played between Glamorgan and Kent at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury. On the second day of the game, Michael Neser was bowling the 28th over of the innings and the fourth delivery of the over, Sam Billings played a shot towards the fine leg and ran for a single.

Chris Cooke, the skipper of Glamorgan who is also the wicketkeeper, ran towards the stumps. The ball was fielded by the fielder in the deep and Cooke was standing in front of the stumps to collect the ball. However, the throw was a little misdirected so Cooke had to move a little to collect the ball and in this process, he crashed the stumps and two stumps got uprooted. This brought smile on the faces of the players and the commentators also had a good laugh.

The Glamorgan cricket county posted the video clip of the incident on its official Twitter handle with caption, “@Cooky_24 His teammates enjoyed this one from the skipper!”

In response, Glamorgan has scored 55-2 with Joe Cooke (10) and Billy Root (21) on the crease.

Abhijeet Sawant Condemns Singing Reality Shows As They Focus On “Poverty” & “Fake Love Stories”

There is no doubt that the reality shows of today have become very dramatic and artificial whether it is a quiz reality show, dance show or singing show because nowadays the background and the struggles faced by a contestant are given more importance than his/her talent. It won’t be wrong to say that poverty has become an asset for the contestants in such shows because the makers like to use it for making the audiences emotional and try to get good TRPs by such methods.

The singing reality show Indian Idol is one of the most popular singing shows of the Indian television and we may not be able to remember who all have become Indian Idols over the years but we will never forget Abhijeet Sawant, the first Indian Idol.

Abhijeet Sawant has done playback singing in quite a few movies and has also released some solo albums including Junoon which was a big hit.

Recently, Abhijeet Sawant gave an interview to a leading daily in which he slammed the makers of the Hindi singing reality shows for creating fake love stories and focusing more on poverty of the contestant rather than on the skills and talent in the past few seasons. As per him, in the regional reality shows, the audiences are not aware of the background of their favourite singers as the focus is on singing talent only but in the Hindi reality shows, importance is given to the tragic stories in place of talent. He adds that the Hindi viewers are also responsible for this as they are more interested in spicy content.

Remembering the times when he forgot the lyrics while singing in the reality show, he said that at that time, the decision of giving him another chance was taken by the judges but if that had happened today, the audiences would have been asked to make a decision and no stone would have been left unturned in making the situation more dramatic.

This is not the first time that a celebrity singer has slammed a singing reality show as recently Amit Kumar, son of legendary singer Kishore Kumar, appeared in an episode of the Indian Idol which was Kishore Kumar Special. Amit Kumar said that he didn’t enjoy the show but he praised everyone as he was told by the makers to appreciate all the contestants irrespective of how they sing.

Do you agree with what Abhijeet Sawant said? What are your views in this connection? Share with us.

“You Play For Bread & Butter, We Play For Fun,” Yajurvindra Recalls What He Told Geoffrey 42Yrs Ago

Indians have a huge craze for cricket and there is a lot of money in this game as well but the situation was not like this before India won the World Cup in 1983. In those days, cricketers used to play for fun and had to work to earn their livelihood as the Board of Control for Cricket in India was not able to pay much money or give annual contracts to the players.

The former Indian cricketer Yajurvindra Singh wrote in a column about the times when it was believed that only amateurs play cricket in India because they were not able to make their living by indulging in cricket merely. He also narrated an incident which happened in the year 1979 during a test match which was played between India and England. In the fourth test match of the series which was being played at the Oval, Yajurvindra Singh was fielding at the short leg but he was getting bored as the former England cricketer Geoffrey Boycott was batting very slowly since he was close to score his century.

Yajurvindra Singh started talking to the Indian players who were standing near him and they began cracking jokes and laughing at them. This aggravated Boycott and he shouted at them saying that this was a professional game so they should not laugh like amateurs. In response, Yajurvindra Singh told Geoffrey Boycott that he played for his bread and butter but the Indians were playing it for fun and recreation.

The times have changed a lot and now the Indian cricket is completely professional with corporate being involved in the game as well, making it cash-rich and now the BCCI is the richest cricket board of the world.

Yajurvindra Singh represented India in 4 test matches from 1977 to 1979 and scored 109 runs in his career.

Things have changed considerably and thanks to the advent of the IPL, now even those cricketers earn pretty good who are not able to play for the country.

Marcus Harris Said Pujara Batted Like An Australian At Gabba, Wasim Jaffer Gave A Funny Response

The Border Gavaskar trophy tournament 2020-21 will go down in the cricket history as one of the historic series between India and Australia because it was consecutive second time that India defeated Australia in their home (Australia). Even the more remarkable achievement is that the Indians also defeated the Aussies at Gabba, Brisbane, where the latter had been invincible for the last 32 years.

The Indian team performed brilliantly under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane as the Indian skipper Virat Kohli was on the paternity leave after the first test match which was played at Adelaide and in which India suffered a humiliating defeat. We just can’t ignore the contribution made by the Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara in the four match test series which India won by 2-1. Pujara was the second highest scorer for the Indian squad with 271 runs at an average of 33. 87 which also included three fifties and his determination and grit made him stand apart from everyone else.

In the whole series, Cheteshwar Pujara was a tough wicket to take for the Australian bowlers but in the Gabba test match, he showed a great amount of courage as he took at least 10 blows on his body but kept on playing like a champion and became an important part of India’s victory. The head coach of the Indian team, Ravi Shastri called Pujara a true warrior for the brave innings that he played.

Another Indian batsman who impressed everyone the most was the young cricketer Rishabh Pant who was also the highest run scorer and he also got the Player of the match award for his brilliant knock of 89 runs in the fourth innings.

The Australian cricketer Marcus Harris who was also a part of the Gabba test match recently praised both the Indian batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant for their superb performances. Harris said that the final match was just amazing and they kept on thinking whole day whether the Indians would go for the chase or not.

He added that though the best innings was played by Rishabh Pant, it was Cheteshwar Pujara who batted like an Australian as he got hit by the bowlers but he took everything on his chest and kept on playing. As per Harris, the whole Indian team batted around Pujara and though it was sad to lose the series, there are times when one has to tip his hat and accept that the opposition was better than them.

Meanwhile the former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer took a funny jibe at Marcus Harris’ statement in which he said that Pujara batted like an Australian.

Jaffer tweeted, “Wonder why the Australians didn’t bat like Australians”.

Here is the tweet:

Well that was quite savage from Wasim Jaffer! What do you say?

Yuvraj Singh Takes A Jibe At Indian Selectors As He Didn’t Get To Play Enough Test Matches

Yuvraj Singh will always be remembered as one of the best all-rounders and finishers of the game and his contribution to the Indian cricket has been huge. The former left-handed batsman has played an important role in many wins of the Indian team, especially in the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup and 2011 ICC World Cup.

Yuvraj Singh has a great track record in the white ball cricket but when it comes to the red-ball cricket, his figures are not pretty good. In his long cricketing career of 17 years, Yuvi has donned the blue jersey in 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is with 8701 and 1177 runs to his name, respectively. Yuvraj has also taken 111 wickets in ODIs and 28 wickets in T20Is but as far as the test matches are concerned, he has played only 40 test matches in which he has scored 1900 runs and taken 9 wickets only.

Yuvraj Singh has also expressed his unhappiness over not being able to play more test matches on some occasions and recently when Wisden India made a tweet related to it, Yuvi didn’t miss the chance of revealing his feelings and also took a sarcastic jibe at the Indian selectors.

Wisden India took to Twitter and asked, “Which former Indian cricketer do you wish played more Tests?” and interestingly, they posted a photo of Yuvraj Singh in the tweet as well.

The tweet was soon noticed by the former Indian cricketer and he replied with, “Probably next life! When I’m not 12th man for 7 years”.

If we talk about Yuvi’s IPL career, he has played 132 matches in which he scored 2750 runs and took 36 wickets. Well, it won’t be wrong to say that his fans would have loved seeing him playing more test matches.

Which former cricketer according to you should have played more test matches for the country? Let us know your opinion.
