Baahubali Star Prabhas Didn’t Wish To Become An Actor But Wanted To Choose This Profession

The superstar Prabhas has a huge fan base and his fan following is not limited to India only as he has many fans overseas as well. The “Saaho” actor was already a superstar in the southern film industry but after the release of “Baahubali: The Beginning”, his popularity increased manifold and he became a household name all over India.

Girls went so crazy about him that he started getting marriage proposals in great numbers and his marriage become a topic of discussion among the fans. Though there were speculations that Prabhas was having an affair with her “Baahubali” co-star Anushka Shetty and they were getting married soon, nothing has happened in this regard for quite some time and Prabhas seems to be focusing on his career as of now.

But have you ever thought as to who would have played the lead role in “Baahubali” if it had not been played by Prabhas? Well, we just can’t imagine anyone else in the place of Prabhas as he got into the skin of the character and entered our hearts, making the characters played by him immortal!

Well, we are asking this because acting is not something which Prabhas wanted to do in life. Yes, you read it right! Prabhas did not wish to become an actor. It is known to almost everyone that Prabhas is a foodie and the actor not only loves home-made food but also brings home-made food on the sets for his co-stars and crew members.

The choice of the profession that Prabhas had in mind is related to food as he wanted to become a hotelier.

Luckily for all the fans of Prabhas, he gave a shot at acting and since then, he has been entertaining us with his performances.

As far as work is concerned, Prabhas’ next movie which will hit the screens will be “Radhe Shyam” in which the female lead will be played by Pooja Hegde. It is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and will also star Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Krishnam Raju and others.

Prabhas has also signed “Adipurush” which is going to be directed by Om Raut. The movie will be based on Hindu epic Ramayana and Prabhas will be playing the role of Lord Ram while the character of Devi Sita will be played Kriti Sanon and Lakshman will be played by Sunny Singh. The important role of Ravana will be played by Saif Ali Khan who attracted controversy in the recent past after glorifying the character of Ravana, however later he apologized as well.

Thank God, Prabhas tried his hands in acting otherwise the cinema world would not have got a gem!

James Neesham Has A Witty & Funny Reply To Fan Who Asks Him To Promote His Batting Order

James Neesham, the New Zealand cricketer who is pretty active on social media networks, is presently serving his quarantine after returning from India. He was in India for the IPL 2021 but it got postponed indefinitely after some players and staff members tested COVID-19 positive.

James Neesham was a part of the Mumbai Indians squad but he was included in the playing XI for only one game in which he was not able to open his account while batting and gave away 26 runs while bowling. In the IPL 2020, James was a part of Punjab Kings (earlier Kings XI Punjab) but the franchise released him ahead of the IPL 2021 auctions after his dismal performances in the chances that he was given.

James Neesham has a quite good sense of humour and many times he has shut down the trolls with his wittiness. Recently, he once again displayed his good sense of humour while answering a question posed by a follower.

Usually James Neesham comes to bat in the lower order when there are not enough balls to play and the batsman needs to score at a quick pace. A follower on the micro-blogging site Twitter asked Neesham as to why he doesn’t promote himself in the batting order.

To this, the Kiwi cricketer gave a pretty hilarious response as he tweeted, “What, like, on the radio?”

James Neesham made his debut in the national side in 2012 in the shorter format while in test matches, he made debut in 2014. Though he is an important part of the New Zealand’s team for the shorter formats, he has not been able to keep his berth secure in the test team and it was in 2017 that he played his last test match.

Well, that was quite a witty reply from Neesham! What do you say?

Aussie Bowlers Release Joint Statement After Cameron Bancroft’s Allegations In Sandpaper Gate

The ghost of the sandpaper gate scandal has been haunting the Australian cricketers and fans for few days now after the Australian cricketer Cameron Bancroft dropped a bombshell when he hinted that the bowlers were also aware of the ball being rubbed by the sandpaper.

This incident took place in the Newlands test match 2018 which was played between Australia and South Africa. In this test match, Cameron Bancroft was seen using sandpaper for scuffing the ball which is illegal as per the rules and the regulations of the game. The then skipper Steve Smith and his deputy David Warner accepted that they were aware of the happenings after which the Cricket Australia banned Steve Smith and David Warner for one year each while Cameron Bancroft was banned for a period of 9 months.

Though all three of them have made a comeback, recently Cameron Bancroft said, “Pretty self explanatory” when he was asked whether the bowlers were also aware of the use of sandpaper after which the Cricket Australia has now asked Bancroft to give more details so that they can look into this matter. After Cameron Bancroft’s remark, many former cricketers have given their views on this matter and almost everyone is sure that the bowlers must be knowing about it.

The four bowlers who played the Newlands test match – Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins have now come forward and issued a joint statement on mitchstarc56.com, a website founded by Mitchell Starc.

The four bowlers who still play together in test matches have expressed their disappointment over the fact that their integrity has been questioned despite the fact that they have answered all the questions in the past.

They further wrote that they were not aware of the use of foreign substance on the ball until they saw it on the big screen. They also wrote that those who still don’t believe them should recall that the two experienced umpires – Nigel Llong and Richard Illingworth inspected the ball after the matter came into limelight and they didn’t change the ball as it wasn’t damaged.

They further stated that whatever happened in Newlands should not have happened and they respectfully requested their fans to bring an end to this matter. They also wrote about the changes that the fans must have seen in the style of playing and behaviour of the Australian players after the Newlands test match.

Let’s see whether this clarification from the bowlers will put an end to the controversy or not. What do you think?

Check out the comment:

Michael Vaughan admires Ravindra Jadeja and he has even slammed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for not including Jadeja in the A+ (Rs. 7 crore) category which includes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah. In a series of tweets, Vaughan criticised BCCI for not awarding A+ annual contract to Ravindra Jadeja and stated that the Gujarat cricketer should be at the same level as Virat Kohli.

Web Portal Asks Dale Steyn “Name A Batter & His Shot That Gives You Chills”, Steyn Names Sreesanth

S Sreesanth, the Indian cricketer, has been trying his best to make a comeback in the Indian team but it seems that it is impossible for him now especially after he was not able to get shortlisted for the IPL 2021 auction as no franchise was interested in him. Sreesanth’s career has been full of controversies but it is also true that the Indian pacer has troubled some best batsmen of the world with his bowling. However, there is one more incident involving Sreesanth which is difficult for every Indian cricket lover to forget and luckily it is something which makes us happy.

We are talking about the 2006 test match which was played between India and South Africa at Johannesburg where the pitch was conducive for fast bowling. Sreesanth is mainly a bowler but in this incident, he showed his batting skills by hitting the South African pacer Andre Nel for a six and then he celebrated it by swinging his bat.

This was not the first time that a bowler was hit by a tailender but what made it special was that Sreesanth was sledged by Andre Nel.

Sreesanth who came to bat at number 10 was constantly sledged by Andre Nel as the South African pacer was quite confident after taking 3 wickets. The Indian pacer revealed in an interview that Andre Nel was speaking a lot and saying that the Indians don’t have a heart as he wanted to imply that Indians are not brave. Not only this, he was also saying that the South Africa team was the better of the two.

Sreesanth added that he wanted Andre Nel to look at the scorecard because India was having the upper hand. While talking to a sports portal, Sreesanth said that in the first innings, he was not able to open his account and many Indian batsmen could not score runs on that day of the test match.

The old memories of Sreesanth’s heroics were recalled when Andre Nel’s teammate Dale Steyn talked about it and called it “legendary” in response to a question asked by ESPNcricinfo on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Here is what ESPNcricinfo tweeted, “Name a batter and a shot of theirs that gives you chills every time”.

In response, Dale Steyn tweeted, “Sreesanth and his slog off Andre Nel for 6 with the swinging bat celebration. Legendary”

As far as the test match is concerned, India won it by 123 runs and Sreesanth not only made everyone go crazy with his six but also took 8 wickets in the match that made him worthy of the player of the match award. Dale Steyn was also a part of the playing XI in that match but he was not able to take even a single wicket.

That shot certainly gives chills every time we think about it, doesn’t it?

“I Won’t Play Forever So It Will Be Great If I Can Share My Input With Youngsters,” Says Shami

The Indian cricket team is all set to face the New Zealand cricket team in the finals of the World Test Championship which will be played at Hampshire Bowl, Southampton, next month. the Indian pacer Mohammad Shami is also ready to make a comeback in the Indian squad after almost 6 months as he suffered a fracture in his arm while playing the first test match against Australia in the four match test series. Shami was also not able to play against the England cricket team when it toured India before the IPL 2021 because of his injury. In Shami’s absence, the young pacers such as Mohammed Siraj, T. Natarajan and Shardul Thakur rose to the situation and bowled brilliantly to help their team win the series against Australia and then against England as well.

During an interview when Shami was asked about teaching or giving input to the youngsters while playing with them, the speedster said that after playing international cricket for so many years, he would surely like to share his knowledge with the youngsters if they want to learn. Shami adds that he is not going to play forever so he will be more than happy to pass on his learning to the youngsters.

Shami is quite confident of performing well in the finals of the World Test Championship and in the five match test series against England which will take place after the WTC final as the Indian team has played some great cricket in the recent past.

Mohd. Shami may have to leave the tour of Australia after the first test match but the Indian squad won the series by 2-1 and then team India defeated England in four match test series by 3-1.

Mohd. Shami states that the confidence level of the Indian team is pretty high before leaving for England and if the Indian team managed to play the manner in which they have played in the last 6 months, they will certainly have a great summer.

We wish all the best to the Indian team for the finals of World Test Championship!!

“I Felt Extreme Anxiety For 10-12 Years, Had Many Sleepless Nights,” Reveals Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary former Indian cricketer, is no less than God for the cricket fans and it won’t be wrong to say that there are many Indians who are inspired by him while few others literally worship him. However, you will be surprised to know that even the God of cricket had faced anxiety in his cricketing career and has also spent many sleepless nights due to it.

Mental health is quite important for a human being and its importance has increased further in the times of the coronavirus pandemic as many people have lost their jobs, businesses have closed and people are forced to remain inside their houses in order to save themselves from the lethal virus.

Sachin Tendulkar opened up on his fight with anxiety and how he dealt with it during an interaction which was conducted by Unacademy, a Bengaluru based Indian education technology organization. Sachin said that for 10-12 years, he felt anxious and had many sleepless nights before every match.

Sachin is of the opinion that the best possible way to deal with it is to accept it and later on, he started accepting anxiety as a part of preparation for a game. According to Little Master, doing things such as making tea, ironing clothes helped him in keeping his mind balanced and at ease. Sachin Tendulkar said that he also made peace with the times when he was not able to sleep in night and he also talked about the habit of packing his bag before the match which was taught to him by his brother. He added that he did the same thing even before the last match that he played for the country.

Sachin feels that acceptability is quite important because once a person accepts it, he then starts finding the solution.

The last test match that Sachin Tendulkar played for India was in 2013 at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai, and he is the only cricketer in the history of cricket who has scored 100 international centuries. Master Blaster also led Mumbai Indians in the IPL and has a century to his name in the league as well.

Hopefully, the words of wisdom spoken by the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar would be of any help to all those who are suffering from mental problems due to COVID-19.
