Desi Kids Reveal Their Mother’s Favourite Hathiyaar Which She Used To Beat & Control Them

The world celebrated the Mother’s Day recently and social media networks were flooded with posts talking about the love and affection that mothers give to their kids and also about the sacrifices which are made by them in order to give their kids a good life. However, there is one thing which separate the desi moms from the foreign mothers and that is Maa Ki Maar (beating by mother).

In some western countries, beating a kid by parents is also a crime while in some Asian countries such as India, Pakistan, etc., parents consider it their right to beat their kid because they follow the saying, “Spare the rod, spoil the kid”. Nowadays, many experts talk about the negative effects of beating the children but the kids of 90s have a good experience of getting beaten by their mothers.

The mothers of 90s used not only their hands for beating their kids but many other items such as slippers, umbrella, cloth hangers, comb, kitchen stuffs, etc.

Recently a Twitter user shared the photos of items which were used by the mothers for beating kids and asked, आपकी मम्मी का पसंदीदा हथियार कौन सा है? बचपन मे माँ की मार सबको पड़ी है. (Which is your mother’s favourite weapon? Everyone must have got beaten by mother during childhood.)

Soon Twitterati started reacting and talking about the item or weapon used by their mother for beating them. These tweets are damn relatable:

The kids of today must be unaware of Maa Ki Maar but if you have experienced it, do let us know what you feel about it now and which all weapons your mother used.

Barmy Army Shares Clip Of James Anderson Dismissing Indian Batsmen, Indian Fans React Fiercely

The England cricketer James Anderson has certainly proved that age is just a number as this 38 years old pacer is still bowling like any young pacer. He has stopped playing in the shorter formats as he wants to focus completely on the longest and purest format of the game. James Anderson has taken 614 wickets in 160 matches and he is the highest wicket taker if we talk only about the fast bowlers. In his test career, he has taken five-wicket hauls 30 times and 10 wicket hauls three times which speak highly of his caliber.

The haters of James Anderson allege that he can bowl well in those conditions which are helpful for him but on the recent tour to India, Anderson proved them all wrong by posing problems for the Indian world-class batsmen on the slow Indian tracks.

Recently the Barmy Army, the group which supports the English cricket team, posted a video on the micro-blogging site Twitter in which it showed Anderson ripping apart the defense of the Indian batsmen. The video was captioned, “To all the India fans in our mentions saying Jimmy ‘Clouderson’”.

During an interview, James Anderson has also talked about the noises with regard to his increasing age and said that this is what frustrates him a lot. Talking about England, he states that it happens the most in his country that when a person reaches a certain age, he is expected to slow down and people try to make him believe that he will lose the ability to perform his job in an efficient manner. Anderson further adds that it is not the case in reality and he can say this with his own experience.

India will be visiting England in July where both the teams will be playing a 5-match test series and it will be interesting to see how the Indian batters will face him in the conditions which will be very conducive for him.

“Ab Shayad Woh Kuldeep Nahi Rahe, Am I That Bad?” Kuldeep On Not Being Included In Playing XI

Kuldeep Yadav, the young Indian spinner, is certainly one of the most talented cricketers of the country at the moment but he is going through a tough phase as it has been quite a long time that we saw him in the Indian playing XI.

Kuldeep Yadav made his international debut in the year 2017 and he has represented the country in all the three formats but for the past one year, he has found it very difficult to secure his berth in the Indian playing XI. Though he got the chance to play against England in the first test match of the four-match test series and he took 2 wickets as well, the team management dropped him for the remaining test matches despite the fact that the pitches were helpful for spin bowling. Later on, he was included in the team for 2 ODIs against England but was dropped as he was not able to take even a single wicket in these two matches. As far as T20I matches are concerned, it has been around 16 months that Kuldeep Yadav played for India in the shortest format of the game.

Recently in an interview, Kuldeep Yadav says that his mental state and confidence have been affected in a big manner because of not getting many chances to play for India. He states that a player feels confident when he plays non-stop but things get difficult once he has to sit out for a long time. He reveals that he was under huge pressure while playing against England in the first test match of the series and it has become more difficult as nothing was happening last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Kuldeep Yadav says that he is not able to understand as to what is going on and sometimes his mind speaks, “ab shayad woh Kuldeep nahi rahe” (maybe he is not the same Kuldeep he used to be earlier). He added that sometimes he feels sitting on bench or serving drinks is for the best but then there are times when he doesn’t want to be there anymore.

Things turned ugly for Kuldeep Yadav after he was included in the playing squad of Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021, especially when the team was playing on the Chennai pitch which is conducive for spin. Kuldeep didn’t play a single match out of the 7 matches that KKR played in the IPL 2021 before it got postponed due to COVID-19. Kuldeep said that when he was included in the KKR playing XI, he asked himself whether he is that bad, however he didn’t say anything because it would have been wrong questioning the decision of the team management. Kuldeep added that he was shocked but was not able to do anything.

The former Indian cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan who is more popular as Siva has written in a column that he is pained to see the downfall of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. If you remember, these two have helped the Indian team in winning many matches by taking wickets at crucial moments together. While Kuldeep Yadav has not been able to get many chances, Chahal has not been able to perform well for India and his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore for past one year.

Siva opines that Yadav and Chahal were very effective in the early part of their career as at that time, not much was known about them to the opposition batsmen but now they have been studied by the opposition and playing them is not that difficult for them. Siva further adds that to be successful, a player needs to keep on working on his bowling and come up with new variations and deliveries but these two don’t seem to work in this direction. In fact, Siva has also stated that Rahul Chahar may be preferred over Yuzi for the T20 World Cup if it takes place.

Do you agree with Siva? What is your opinion in this regard? Let us know.

“Ek Rupaye Ki Pepsi Iyer Bhai S*xy,” Shreyas Iyer Posts Funny Video Of Fans Cheering For Him

The young Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer is presently recovering from the shoulder injury that he suffered in the first ODI of the 3-match series against England. He had to undergo a surgery because the injury was quite serious and because of this, he was also not able to take part in the IPL 2021. Shreyas Iyer is the skipper of the IPL team Delhi Capitals (earlier Delhi Daredevils) and Rishabh Pant led the team in his absence in the IPL 2021.

During this time, Shreyas increased his online presence, became more active on the social media platforms and left no stone unturned in cheering for his team DC but then the IPL 2021 got postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19. However, Shreyas Iyer is still very active on social media and is missing no chance of making his fans laugh with his good sense of humour and wittiness.

Recently, the Delhi batsman took to Instagram and posted a video from a cricket match in which Shreyas Iyer can be seen fielding in the deep and some people from the audience are chanting the slogan, “Ek rupaye ki Pepsi Iyer Bhai s*xy”.

Shreyas Iyer captioned the video, “Found my new favorite chant #soundon. Can’t wait to get back!”

The Indian team consisting of white ball specialist will be visiting Sri Lanka in July where they will play 3-match ODI series and 5-match T20I series. However, this squad won’t have senior players such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, etc. as they will be busy in playing 5-match test series in England.

If Shreyas Iyer gets fit by that time, he will be the automatic choice for captain but if he doesn’t get fit, the board will have to select someone else for leading the team. As per the sources, in Shreyas Iyer’s absence, the board will pick either Shikhar Dhawan or Hardik Pandya for the captain’s role.

That is quite a cheesy yet funny line! What do you say?

Chris Lynn Tries To Troll Dinesh Karthik Over His Vaccination Post, DK Gives A Hilarious Reply

The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has certainly wrecked havoc on the Indians but the government is also trying its best to vaccinate the citizens as soon as possible. Many celebrities such as Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Smriti Mandhana, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, etc. have also got themselves vaccinated and also requested their fans and followers to get vaccinated whenever they get the chance.

Recently, the Indian cricketer and former skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders Dinesh Karthik got vaccinated with the first dose and he also shared the photo of him getting vaccinated on the social media networks.

The tweet was liked by many and it was also noticed soon by the Australian cricketer Chris Lynn who played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2021. Chris Lynn made up mind to poke fun at DK as he commented, “Could have at least worn pants”.

Actually DK was wearing camouflage pants and Chris Lynn joked about it as it is something which is not visible.

DK also responded with a hilarious tweet which read, “I was thinking shorts like you, then realised I’m not in Maldives. So wore this”.

After handing over the captaincy of KKR to Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik has to focus on his batting and wicket-keeping now. On the other hand, Chris Lynn played in the first match of MI which was against Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore but after Quinton de Kock completed his quarantine period, the MI team management included him in the playing XI because of which Chris Lynn had to sit on the bench.

The IPL 2021 was postponed indefinitely after some players and staff members tested COVID-19 positive. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also thought of taking the complete IPL to Mumbai but then it decided to postpone the event keeping in mind the well-being and safety of the players, staff members and each person associated with the league.

We also request our readers to get vaccinated as soon as they get the chance.
