Twitter User Asks People To Show How Middle Class They Are, The Responses Are Damn Relatable

Growing up in a middle class family teaches a lot about life, especially how to live happily even with limited resources. The bitter truth is that even the government is not much worried about the middle class because it knows that the middle class people are the ones who will adjust somehow to whatever situation the face due to the policies made by the government.

Individuals from the middle class families develop some habits which may seem strange to the rich but for the middle class people, it is a way of life. We are talking about habits like cutting the cream tube in half in order to use the cream properly or pressing the toothpaste tube so hard that each drop of it comes out or saving the Rs. 5 coin which a person gets after completing a financial transaction.

There are many other habits which define a middle class family and recently a Twitter user asked the online users to describe that they are from middle class household without telling that they are from middle class household. In simple words, the online user wanted netizens to post photos which reveal that they come from a middle class family.

The tweet read, “Tell me you’re from a middle class household without saying you’re from a middle class household”.

We must admit that netizens made the optimum use of this thread by depicting every possible thing one can find in a middle class household. From cover on remote, TV and sofa to protect it from stains to squeezed tube of toothpaste and a particular design of spoon and slippers, each thing was mentioned. Here are some of the selected reactions from the Twitter users:

Michael Slater Slams Australian Govt As It Bans Its Citizens From India, PM Scott Morrison Reacts

The second wave of COVID-19 has hit India in a hard manner and the cases are increasing at an alarming rate. Many foreign nations including Australia have banned the flights from India as they don’t want the virus to spread in their own country. However, Australia has gone one step further and has announced a lockout for its citizens who are in India at the moment.

As per the announcement made by the Australian PM Scott Morrison, no Australian citizen will be permitted to enter the country till May 15 and if anyone is found guilty of breaking the rule, he will have to pay a huge fine of $66K or he will be sentenced to prison for 5 years. The Aussie government has taken this decision in order to ensure that the quarantine system doesn’t get loaded but this decision is getting slammed by many including the Aussies who are associated with the IPL 2021 in some manner.

Many Australian cricketers are playing for various franchises while there are a number of former Aussie players who are associated with various franchises in the capacity of coach, support staff, etc. and few of the former Aussie cricketers are also working as commentators.

The former Aussie cricketer Michael Slater who was associated with the IPL 2021 as a commentator has also slammed the Australian PM for his new rule of not letting Australian citizens return to their homes from India. He took to Twitter, called this new rule as disgrace and said that if the Australian government is really worried about their safety, it should allow them to return home.  He also added that he had the permission of the government to work in the IPL but now what he is left with is the government neglect.

Michael Slater tweeted, “If our Government cared for the safety of Aussies they would allow us to get home. It’s a disgrace!! Blood on your hands PM. How dare you treat us like this? How about you sort out quarantine system? I had government permission to work on the IPL but I now have government neglect”.

Michael Slater had left the IPL midway and on the weekend, he travelled to Maldives. After this tweet of Michael Slater, he was slammed by many for choosing health over money but the former Aussie cricketer shut them down by saying that this is what he does for living and he hasn’t earned a penny as he left the league midway.

This is what Slater tweeted, “And for those who think this is a money exercise. Well forget it. This is what I do for a living and I have not made a penny having left early. So please stop the abuse and think of the thousands dying in India each day. It’s called empathy. If only our government had some!”

The Australian PM Scott Morrison has also responded on the “disgrace” comment made by Michael Slater. While talking to Nine Network, PM Morrison supported the ban and called Slater’s comment “obviously absurd”. He said that it is about bringing more people home in a safe manner and saving the country from the third wave.

As far as the IPL 2021 is concerned, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) postponed the IPL indefinitely as few players tested COVID-19 positive.

What is your take in this matter? Let us know.

There have been many instances in which the brides have refused to get married to the groom during the marriage ceremony because of various reasons. For example, when a bride was pulled forcefully by the groom’s friends for dancing, she got so aggravated that she denied tying the knot with the groom. In another instance, the bride refused to marry the groom as he was very drunk at that time while in one more case, the bride got upset when she saw the groom performing naagin dance and she denied marrying him.

Recently a bride from Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, refused to tie the knot with the groom as he was not able to recite the basic table of 2. All this happened just before the ritual of Varmala (exchange of garlands) when the bride asked the groom to recite the table of 2 but he failed in that and the bride walked out of the mandap, citing that she can’t marry someone who doesn’t even possess basic knowledge of Mathematics. Though people tried to convince the bride, she didn’t budge.

Vinod Kumar, the Panwari Station House Officer, stated that it was an arrange marriage but the bride was doubtful of the educational qualifications of the groom.

Cousin of the bride alleged that the groom’s family cheated them in regard to the education of the groom and he might not have even attended the school in his life. The cousin called the bride a brave girl and said that she called off her marriage without any fear of the society.

No police case was filed in this regard as both the parties decided to compromise on this matter and returned the gifts and jewelry to each other.

This bride definitely needs to be praised for the bold step that she has taken as not everyone has the courage to call off wedding at this stage. More power to you girl! We wish that she gets someone who deserves her soon!

The biggest cricket extravaganza of the world, the IPL 2021 has been postponed indefinitely by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after COVID-19 breached the bio-bubble and some players and staff tested positive for the virus. Yesterday, two cricketers of Kolkata Knight Riders – Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier were tested positive and after that, the former Indian cricketer and current bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji also tested positive.

Even after this, the board was in the mood of continuing the IPL 2021 and the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians was supposed to be played on May 4 but then the news of SRH player Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals player Amit Mishra testing COVID-19 positive compelled the board to take the big decision of postponing the tournament.

Earlier, the board was thinking of taking the whole IPL to Mumbai but as the cases increased, the board decided to postpone the league. BCCI issued a statement in which it announced that in an emergency meeting of BCCI and IPL governing council, the decision of postponing the IPL 2021 has been taken.

One section of Twitter users also used this as an opportunity to troll the fans of Royal Challengers Bangalore as the Bangalore franchise was playing pretty well this time. Though RCB is at the third position as of now with 5 wins and 2 defeats in 7 matches but there was a time when RCB was at the top spot. The skipper of RCB, Virat Kohli is trolled often for his failure in making his team win its first title as he has been with the franchise since the inaugural edition of 2008 and since 2013, he has been leading the team but couldn’t lift the IPL trophy even once.
