Ben Stokes Raises Questions Over The Quality Of Pitches Used For IPL 2021 Matches

The IPL team Rajasthan Royals is certainly going through a tough phase as they are at the bottom of the points table with 3 defeats and one win in the IPL 2021. RR had a pretty bad season last year and this time they were hoping to change their fortunes but the exit of Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Liam Livingstone has increased their problems further.

The England all-rounder Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the tournament because of finger injury that he suffered during the first match of Rajasthan Royals, which was against Punjab Kings (earlier Kings XI Punjab). Though Ben Stokes has returned to his country, recently he made a statement regarding the pitches on which IPL matches are being played. Ben Stokes says that the wickets are trash and he wishes that they don’t get deteriorated further as the IPL progresses.

This is what Ben Stokes tweeted, “Hope the wickets don’t get worse as the @IPL gets deeper into the tournament.. 160/170 minimum not scraping to 130/140 cause the wickets are trash..”

Ben Stokes feels that in T20 matches, the teams’ score should be around 160-170 and not 130-140.

As of now, the IPL matches are being played at two venues – Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and Chennai’s M. A. Chidambaram Stadium. The matches have been high scoring at Wankhede, in fact in few matches the teams have scored around or more than 200 but at Chennai’s Chepauk, the teams are finding it difficult to score even 150 as batting is becoming difficult as the ball gets old.

There is news that RR is going to sign Rassie van der Dussen, the South African cricketer, as a replacement of Ben Stokes. Things have become more difficult for RR as Jofra Archer was also ruled out of the IPL 2021 due to injury while Liam Livingstone has opted out citing bubble fatigue.

Father In Kerala Builds Mahindra Jeep’s Miniature Version For His Kids, See The Video

Every person likes to get gifts but it is also true that the gifts which are handmade are loved more than the ones which are bought from the shops. Shakir from Areekode, Malappuram district, Kerala, has become famous on the social media networks because of the miniature version of Mahindra jeep that he has built for his son.

The jeep has soft-top which is removable , manual gearbox, power steering and headlights. In the beginning, 1000 watts motor was used to power it which made it an electric vehicle but recently Shakir replaced it with motorbike engine that has been taken from a Bajaj Discover.

Earlier it used to run 60 km on a single charge when it was an electric vehicle but now it is giving an average of 35 km per litre. The jeep has total 9 gears including the reverse gear.

It has taken Shakir around 1 year to build this jeep and he has spent around Rs. 1.75 lakhs for this purpose. Though the jeep has been made for the kids, 2-3 average adults can also fit themselves inside it but with discomfort.

The name of the Twitter user is Pranay Pathole who posted a photo of Elon Musk from his younger days and captioned it with, “In 1995, @elonmusk wanted to work with an Internet company, he applied to work at Netscape, sent his resume, tried hanging out in their lobby, but he was too shy to talk to anyone. So he started his own Internet company (Zip2) as he wasn’t able to get a job anywhere.”

The tweet got the attention of Elon Musk too along with other social media users and he responded with, “I could get a job, just not at an Internet company (weren’t many back then)”.

Chhavi Mittal Gives A Befitting Reply To Woman Who Tried To Mock Her & Called Her Pretentious

Chhavi Mittal, the famous TV actress who has worked in many television shows, is quite active on the social media networks and keeps on posting videos related to fitness, workout and women issues. Chhavi is a multi-talented woman who not only acts but also writes and produces. Moreover, she is the co-founder of Shitty Ideas Trending as well as the owner of Being Woman.

Some time ago when she posted a video on 14-day detox diet, a woman tried to troll her by asking where her kids were when she was making the video and also called her pretentious.

Here is what the woman wrote in comment, “Where are your kids when you are making this video? Yeah maybe with the servants!! Ms So not superwoman #pretentious (sic).”

Chhavi was in no mood to remain silent so she took the screenshot of the comment and wrote an answer in which she told that she had shot this video at 11 pm in the night after finishing all the office work and household chores, when both her kids went to sleep and when it was her “me” time. She further writes that she never memorizes anything for making videos and prefers to speak from the heart, adding that it has taken her only 15 minutes to make this video.

After giving the answer to the question asked by the woman, Chhavi questioned till when a mother will try to bring down a mother and why people think that working women spoil their child’s future. She goes on to say that a working woman teaches her girl to be independent and also teaches her son the importance of women’s independence.

In the third phase which is going to start from May 1, people above 18 years of age will be able to get vaccinated.

Recently Anil Kapoor, one of the most loved and famous actors of Bollywood, also got vaccinated and posted the photo of his vaccination on his Instagram account.

ACP Pradyuman Makes A Startling Revelation About Iconic “Kuch Toh Gadbad Hai Daya” Hand Gesture

Shivaji Satam, the veteran actor who has featured in many TV shows and movies of Hindi and Marathi languages, celebrated his 71st birthday yesterday. Shivaji used to work as a cashier in a bank before he made his debut in acting and though he has worked in a number of films and shows, he became a household name because of the TV show CID which is one of the longest running shows of the Indian television.

CID’s first episode was aired on 21st Jan 1998 and it ran for almost 20 years as the last episode of the show was aired on 4th Nov 2018. Shivaji played the character of ACP Pradyuman in the serial and he and his team including Senior Inspector Daya, Senior Inspector Abhijeet, etc. not only entertained the public by solving criminal cases but also gave many moments and phrases which have been used as meme material on a large basis.

The strange hand gesture of ACP Pradyuman when he recites the dialogue, “Kuch toh gadbad hai Daya” (Something is wrong Daya) attracted the attention of audiences quite early and many people started to copy it. Recently, Shivaji Satam has made a revelation in this regard that will leave you surprised as he told that this hand gesture was not planned by the makers.

While giving an interview, Shivaji said that once he was doing discussion with the serial maker and he was constantly staring at him. When Shivaji asked him the reason behind staring, the maker said that he was looking at Shivaji’s style of explaining and expressed his desire that Shivaji should use it in the serial as well.

Talking about the shortcomings of the show, Shivaji Satam said that CID was a fiction show and it was never planned as a reality show or a docudrama. He added that the makers needed to tell the whole story in 45 minutes or one hour maximum which was quite difficult as there were many cases which needed 2 episodes, so it was quite obvious that the makers had to miss things which made the show look a little illogical but sometimes life is also the same.

While concluding, Shivaji Satam gave a hint that CID reunion was on the cards but it got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

We will certainly like to see all of them together once again on the screen! Missing those days….
