MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricketer, is one of the most loved celebs of India and whatever he does makes headlines. As of now the former skipper who is also addressed as Captain Cool by his fans has created a buzz on the social media by showing his new avatar of a monk.

It all started when the official Twitter handle of Star Sports released a video in which Dhoni was seen with shaved head, dressed as a monk. In the video, Dhoni can be heard saying, “Kya hai iss avatar ke piche ka mantra, jaldi hi pata chalega”. The video was captioned, “Mantra… avatar… we are as 🤯 as you are right now! Give us your best guess as to what this mantra is that he’s talking about and keep watching this space for the reveal”.

During the initial phase of his career, Dhoni was noticed not just for his hard-hitting batting and unorthodox wicket-keeping but also because of his long hair. He became the heartthrob of many after the Indian team won the 2007 T20 World Cup under his leadership and a good number of youngsters copied his hairstyle. After some time, he started sporting short hair but the fans got the shock of their lifetime when they saw their favourite cricketer in a bald look.

It is obvious that this video is a part of some commercial which will be continued later but this monk look of Dhoni has given the creative meme makers a chance to once again show their creativity and resultantly, Twitter is flooded with memes and jokes on this matter.

AICTE Makes Physics & Maths Non-Compulsory For Engineering, Sparks A Hilarious Meme Fest

Mathematics and physics are two subjects which have always been quite important for those class XII students who want to become engineers as these subjects are compulsory for getting admission in the undergraduate courses related to engineering. However, things may change now as recently the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) made some amendments in the rules in the approval process handbook pertaining to the year 2021-22. As per the reports, now mathematics and physics will be a part of the list which comprises of 12 optional subjects out of which three subjects are needed for fulfilling the eligibility.

Anil Sahasrabudhe, the chairman of AICTE, says that physics, mathematics and chemistry will still remain important subjects but for some branches such as Mechanical Engineering, etc. and it is not that these subjects will lose their significance but the candidates of agriculture engineering, textile, etc. may not need to study these three subjects and they may cover up later by taking up bridge courses.

This certainly didn’t go well with those who have struggled a lot in these subjects while pursuing their engineering. Soon people starting expressing their opinion on the micro-blogging site Twitter; while few took a satirical dig at this announcement, several others reacted with hilarious memes.

However after a lot of trolling, AICTE withdrew APH 2021-22 for a short period citing the reason as typographical corrections and stated that it would be back on website in a couple of days. Wasim Jaffer & Michael Vaughan Engage In A War Of Words Post India’s Defeat In First T20I

Michael Vaughan, the former England cricketer certainly loves to criticise the Indian team whether it wins or lose and the humiliating manner in which India got defeated by England in the first T20I match was more than enough for Vaughan to take dig at the Indian side.

The Indian cricket team’s batting performance was disappointing as it managed to score only 124/7 in the stipulated 20 overs despite having a star-studded batting line-up. In fact, it won’t be wrong to say that if Shreyas Iyer had not played a brilliant knock of 67, India would have found it difficult to reach the 100 runs mark. Achieving the target was not difficult for the England team as they won the game by 8 wickets with 27 balls remaining in their innings. The English pacer Jofra Archer was adjudged as the player of the match for the 3 wickets that he took in the game.

Michael Vaughan took to Twitter and wrote that the IPL team Mumbai Indians is a better team than the Indian team. Vaughan’s tweet read, “The @mipaltan are a better T20 team than @BCCI !!! #JustSaying #INDvENG”.

Rohit Sharma led MI is certainly one of the best cricketing units as it has won the IPL five times but comparing it with the Indian team is certainly not right. The former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer who is now known for his witty tweets decided to respond to Vaughan’s tweet and he wrote, “Not all teams are lucky enough to play four overseas players Michael”.

This was a subtle dig taken by Wasim Jaffer on the team composition of England as they have players of different nationalities playing for them while in the IPL, teams can play only four overseas players and the remaining team has to be comprised of the Indian players.

Michael Vaughan was in no mood to end the banter so he responded with the memories of 2002 Lord’s test in which he took the wicket of Wasim Jaffer when the former Indian cricketer was at the score of 53.

Vaughan tweeted, “Have you still not recovered from me getting you out at Lords!??”

While everyone expected a strong reply from Wasim Jaffer, he replied in quite simple manner, “That’s just Life’s Amazing Memories Eh, Michael 🙂 #INDvENG”

However, there is a catch in the reply as few Twitter users stated and it seems that the Mumbai Legend has trolled the former England cricketer in an amazing manner as “Life’s Amazing Memories Eh” sums up to LAME.

Irfan Pathan Shuts Down Troller Who Mocked Him For His Opinion On India’s Failure In 1st T20I

The England cricket team has taken the lead by 1-0 in the five match T20 series by defeating team India in the first T20I match comfortably by 8 wickets with 27 balls remaining in their innings. The match was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, and the visitors decided to bowl first after winning the toss.

The decision was absolutely right as the England bowlers bowled superbly and restricted the Indian squad at 124/7 in the stipulated 20 overs. There was a time when it looked difficult for the Indian team to cross the 100 mark as they lost Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul and skipper Virat Kohli at the score of 20 but it was a gritty knock of Shreyas Iyer (67) along with some useful contributions by Rishabh Pant (21) and Hardik Pandya (19) which helped the hosts in putting up a decent total on the score board.

However, the target was pretty less for the visitors as they achieved it in 15.3 overs with 8 wickets in hand and Jason Roy (49) was the highest scorer for the England side. Jofra Archer was adjudged as the player of the match for the three dismissals that he did.

After the match, the Indian team was slammed for their poor batting performance and many former cricketers also came up with their opinions in regard to the match. While some former cricketers felt that resting Rohit Sharma was a bad decision, Virat Kohli’s poor form was a concern for several others as he got out for a duck in this match but for Irfan Pathan, it was something else because of which the Indian side lost the match.

The former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote that the reason behind India’s defeat was pace according to him. Irfan Pathan tweeted, “What was the reason India lost the first t20 vs England? I think PACE was the difference”.

As soon as Irfan Pathan shared the tweet, many cricket fans started posting their opinion. However, there was one user who decided to troll Irfan by stating that he had no pace. The user tweeted, “Boss, you never had pace”.

The former cricketer was in no mood to remain silent and he responded with a perfect reply that read, “You never played for India yet you talking to a guy who had swing :)”

Irfan Pathan has represented India in 29 test matches in which he has taken 100 wickets, 120 ODIs in which he has taken 173 wickets and in 24 T20Is that he has played, he has taken 28 wickets. Man Transforms Old Ferry Into Luxury Yacht With Cinema Hall, Salon & More Worth Rs 19.7 Crore

Childhood is undoubtedly the best time of our lives and we cherish the memories of that best phase for whole life. A man from Hong Kong did something quite amazing to keep his childhood alive as he turned passenger ferry into a luxury yacht because there were some childhood memories associated with it.

The ferry had the capacity of 762 passengers and was called Golden Star. It started operating in Hong Kong in 1988 and operated till 2011 until it was sold privately. As the concerned person was quite emotional about it, he took the decision of buying it and renovating it; in fact he planned to transform it into a luxury weekend home.

It took him 18 months in transforming it and equipping it with facilities which are better than any other luxury hotel. All the refurbishing work was carried out the Leung Wan Kee shipyard, Zhuhai, China, and now it has been renamed as DOT.

The luxury yacht comprises of 6,000 sq. ft. of living area and 4 staterooms with the capacity of eight guests, each stateroom has a bathroom and standing shower.

Well, that’s not all as DOT also provides salon, 2 office spaces and a huge level space which not only has a big sofa but a 14 ft. Christmas tree can also be placed over there. There is also a cinema hall, a kitchen and a dining area with sliding door.

Now if you are in mood of owning this luxury yacht, you need to spend $2.7million (Rs 19.7 crore approx.)

The anonymous owner is a resident of Hong Kong but he was born in England and he told that memories of his three kids are associated with the boat.

He planned to make it a weekend home rather than a yacht which is used for travelling but DOT can still travel to Australia as it has 100,000 litre tanks.

Kriti Sanon Talks About How She Made It To Bollywood Despite Not Having Any Godfather

Every year many youngsters shift to Mumbai in order to make their career in Bollywood but very few get the chance to prove themselves. Recently, the “Heropanti” actress opened up on her journey in the movie industry and also told how she achieved success despite the fact that she had no godfather.

Kriti said that she took small and baby steps as she was in no mood of running fast. She says that when a person enters the industry, he/she has to listen to the managers and agencies as he doesn’t have much knowledge about the industry. However, she also says that she is a girl who has her opinions so many times her managers got irritated with her because she didn’t listen to them.

Her life changed a lot after moving to Mumbai from Delhi as she knew no one in the new city where she came after completing her B.Tech. Kriti adds that in such a scenario, there is a lot of insecurity and uneasiness so it is better for a person to find 2-3 people who have belief in the person as she found in her agency who kept on telling her that she should not hurry and the first movie is very important. She said that even when she was working in her first movie, still she was very restless but in the end, her patience brought good results.

After working in “Heropanti” opposite Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon got the chance of working in “Dilwale” which was directed by Rohit Shetty and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, etc. in important roles. Kriti said that after “Dilwale”, she was quite eager to prove herself as an actor but she was not getting the chance. At the end, she also says that she is quite greedy and hungry when it comes to acting.
