Sunil Gavaskar’s Comment “Chal Phutt” To Critics Of Indian Pitches Sparks Meme Fest On Twitter

A lot has been said about the Indian pitches during the ongoing India-England four match test series as the Indian spinners have dominated in the series which India won by 3-1. While the first test match was won by the England, the second, third and fourth test matches were won by India and some former England cricketers were not happy with the fact that the pitches have been supporting the spinners.

The controversy got stronger after the third test match which was played in Ahmedabad as it got over in just 2 days with India winning by 10 wickets. While the former England cricketers called the Ahmedabad pitch unsuitable for test match, the Indian cricketers such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli defended the pitch and said that blaming the pitch is useless as majority of the wickets were taken on straight deliveries. While Rohit Sharma called the pitch nice one for batting, the Indian skipper called the lack of focus responsible for poor performance of batsmen of both the sides. The former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has also been quite vocal in regard to the pitches and recently he made a comment which has become a meme material.

While talking on a TV show when the legendary Indian cricketer was asked whether his thinks that the debate on pitches is getting unnecessary importance, Sunil Gavaskar said that there should have been discussion in regard to the batting and bowling performances of the players rather than on pitch. Little Master questioned as to how anyone can blame the pitch when the batsmen are getting bowled or lbw out. He is also of the opinion that undue importance is being given to the former England cricketers as no player of the present England cricket team complained about the pitch, it was just few individuals who kept on talking about the pitches.

Gavaskar also said that no media publication of other countries cared about what former Indian cricketers such as Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, etc. said when the Indian team was all out on 36 and in the same manner, the Indians and the Indian media should also ignore what former cricketers of other countries are saying about the Indian pitches. As per him, the Indians should say “Chal Phutt” (get lost) whenever anyone talks about the Indian pitches.

India had won the fourth test match as well by 25 runs and an innings. As this game has also ended in just 2.5 days and once again the Indian spinners have dominated the match, we are pretty sure that debate on the Indian pitches will go on for some more time.

Pune Is The Second Best City To Live In India, See Which City Tops The List

Whenever a person has to shift from one city to another, he certainly evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of moving to a particular city as some cities provide with a better environment in comparison to other cities. Recently, the Housing and Urban Affair ministry released the list of cities in which are better than other cities. There were two categories, the first was the million plus population category and the second one was less than million population category.

As per the “Ease of Living Index”, Bengaluru has emerged as the best city to live in under the million plus population category.

The second spot was secured by Pune while Ahmedabad got the third position and the cities which came after them are Chennai, Surat, Navi Mumbai, Coimbatore, Vadodara, Indore and Greater Mumbai while the capital of the country New Delhi is at the 13th spot and Srinagar got the lowest rank.

Here is the list of top 10 in the million plus population category:

4. Chennai

5. Surat

6. Navi Mumbai

7. Coimbatore

8. Vadodara

9. Indore

10. Greater Mumbai

If we talk about the less than million population category, Shimla was the best city to live in with Bhubaneshwar and Silvassa at the second and third spot, respectively followed by Kakinada, Salem, Vellore, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Davangere and Tiruchirapalli. In case of less than million population category, Muzaffarpur ranks the lowest.

Indian Boxer Nikhat Zareen Teaches Hook Punch, Dipika Pallikal Jokes She’ll Try It On Dinesh Karthik

The India women are doing wonders in every field that they are entering whether it’s beauty pageants, sports, science, technology and so on. The successful Indian women are not only setting benchmarks but they are also providing inspiration to many other young girls who want to make big in this world.

Recently, the Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar, the Indian squash player Dipika Pallikal and the Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen came together in a campaign “Watch Us Move” which was organized by Adidas as an initiative of celebrating womanhood and the free movement of women.

In a video released as a part of the campaign, the three talented and beautiful women were having a chat with each other and during the conversation, Nikhat tried to teach the other two her favourite shot which is known as hook punch. Nikhat says that she does boxing in the 51 kg category and she has one advantage that she is the tallest in that category. She further adds that she shows her opponent as if she is going to hit but she doesn’t hit and allows her opponent to hit and when the opponent tries to hit her, she throws no counter punches which is called as feint attack.

After listening to what Nikhat said, Dipika made a funny comment that she would practice it on her hubby today. Dipika is married to Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik who is presently out of the Indian squad but plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.

Dipika who has won four medals in Asian games and three medals in Commonwealth Games also talked about how they both spent lockdown. She told that in the beginning, it was fine as they felt that it would get over soon and they just needed to work on their fitness. For this purpose, they stayed in touch with their trainers a lot, in fact more than they are nowadays. She further says that she feels lockdown has certainly taken a toll on the athletes, especially those who are Olympians and it is more mental rather than physical.

Hater Tried To Troll Rohan Gavaskar Over Nepotism, Rohan’s Kickass Reply Made Him Delete Account

The debate on nepotism mostly takes place in Bollywood but sometimes it also gets started in the Indian cricket world as people love to troll kids of the famous cricketers. Rohan Gavaskar is one such former Indian cricketer who has faced many trolls in his life but the good thing is that he is going pretty strong and knows how to deal with haters.

Rohan hasn’t played for India much but he is a very famous person in the domestic circuit. However, what makes him the favourite target of trollers is that he is son of the well-known Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar who is certainly a living legend. Nowadays, Rohan is busy with his commentary commitments in the national and international circuits and presently, he is fulfilling his commitment at the Road Safety World Series which has begun from March 5 (today).

The 45 years old cricketer recently posted a photo on his official Twitter account with India Legends.

As soon as Rohan made the tweet, some trollers started targeting him and one of them said that he must have got place in the team on the basis of father’s quota.

Rohan responded by asking the troller whether he got admission in school in this way. Here is what Rohan tweeted, “Is that how you got into your school? Shrek is a good name btw”.

Rohan Gavaskar slammed the troller by asking as to who told him that he (Rohan) is playing, adding that he should check the facts first before saying anything. Rohan’s tweet read, “Who said I was playing?? Get your facts right and then have a go at someone. But then it’s all a bit too much to ask someone to get their facts sorted before opening their mouth. Clearly that’s not your strong suit!!”

Despite the fact that Rohan tells him clearly he is not playing, the troller doesn’t stop here and says that as he is wearing the jersey, this means he is a part of the group and it is not correct if he is commentating as he should not take sides. In the end, the troller also writes that he feels sorry for Rohan’s father Sunil Gavaskar.

In his response, Rohan tells the troller that he is a part of the support staff and he further asks the hater to get the facts right first. Rohan also takes a jibe at him by saying that he feels sorry for the troller’s parents as how they will feel when they will come to know that he is a troller and he is getting rid of his own frustrations by trolling other people.

This is what Rohan wrote, “Erm, no!! I’m part of the support staff. Again, get your facts right. Don’t jump to conclusions. I feel sorry for your parents too. Imagine how they must feel knowing their son is a troll. It must be a real let down for them. Their son removing his frustrations by trolling”.

The troller has not only deleted the tweets but also deleted his account after the strong bashing that he got by Rohan Gavaskar.

The island covers only 20-30 meters and surprisingly, Xu spent a huge amount of around 1,00,000 yuan (Rs. 11 lakh approximately) in buying and transforming the island. Needless to say, he did all this in order to convince his ex-girlfriend to come back in his life.

Xu planted many trees with beautiful flowers such as cherry trees, peach trees, pink grass, etc. and transformed the deserted island into a very exquisite one. This was certainly a grand gesture by Xu for his ex-girlfriend but it seems that it was not enough for her and she refused to give another chance to Xu.

However, the good thing is that Xu’s efforts didn’t go waste as many young people have started visiting the place and the lovers are finding it a perfect place to propose to their partner.

World is full of many types of people; while for some, a bouquet of flowers, chocolates and a small gift are more than enough to forget the mistakes and forgive their partner, there are few for whom such a grand gesture is also not enough.

Sunil Gavaskar Lauds Virat Kohli Led Indian Team, Calls It The Best In The History Of Indian Cricket

The Indian cricket team is struggling at the moment in the first innings of the fourth and the last test match of the four test match series against England at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, as it has lost 6 wickets on the score of 146 in response to 205 runs scored by the visitors.

However, if we take an overall view of the Indian cricket team’s performance in the recent past, they have been performing quite well. In fact, the former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar feels that this team can easily be compared to some strongest and the best teams of the past, for example, Ricky Ponting’s Australian side, Clive Lloyd’s West Indian squad, Graeme Smith’s South African team, etc.

The legendary Indian cricketer also talks about some other skippers such as Steve Waugh, Viv Richards, etc. and showers praises on Virat Kohli for his good captaincy and consistency. Rishabh Pant Makes Funny High-Pitched Noise As Jonny Bairstow & Ben Stokes Ran A Single, See Video

The Indian cricket fans still miss their favourite cricketer MS Dhoni behind the stumps but it won’t be wrong to say that Rishabh Pant has been trying his level best to fill the shoes of the former Indian cricketer who took retirement last year. Earlier, Rishabh Pant got trolled a lot for his poor wicketkeeping and his comparison with Dhoni was certainly making things difficult for him. But the young cricketer has slowly raised the bar by working on his skills and he has been performing well with the bat as well as the gloves for past some time.

Rishabh Pant has also been involved in various other activities such as making funny comments, singing songs, having banter with the opponents, etc. Some time ago, we heard Pant singing “Spiderman, Spiderman” and yesterday he was involved in two incidents which made his fans go gaga over him.

The fourth and the final test match between India and England started yesterday at Ahmedabad and the visitors chose to bat first after winning the toss. However, the England batsmen once again failed in posting a good total on the score board and the whole team got out at the score of 205. Ben Stokes was the highest scorer for England with 55 runs and some useful contributions were made by Dan Lawrence (46), Ollie Pope (29) and Jonny Bairstow (28).

The first incident took place in the 8th over of the England innings when Zak Crawley was on the crease and Axar Patel was bowling. Zak Crawley was quite cautious while playing Axar Patel; after the 7.4th delivery, Rishabh Pant started shouting from behind the wickets, “someone is getting angry now, come on, let’s go” and on the very next delivery, Zak hit a shot in the air which was taken by Mohammed Siraj and the England opener was back in pavilion.

In the 25th over, another incident took place which made the Indian cricket fans go ROFL. The bowler was again Axar Patel and after Jonny Bairstow played him on the leg-side, the Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant made a very strange and high-pitched sound.
