Biryani is one of the most loved dishes of India, though a debate constantly goes on in regard to which city’s biryani is the best. While some believe that there is no competition to Hyderabadi biryani, few others are of the opinion that the city to have best biryani is Lucknow but neither of these cities offer biryani at a high price of Rs. 20,000.
Yes, you read it right! We are talking about the world’s most expensive biryani, i.e., Royal Gold Biryani that you can enjoy at the luxury hotel Bombay Borough which is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The price of this lip-smacking dish is Dh 1,000 which comes to Rs. 20K approximately in the Indian currency. The recipe of this dish is quite different from regular biryani as three different types of rice are used for making this biryani. The base is formed by biryani rice, keema rice and white rice and on the top of the dish, saffron rice is being put. You will be surprised to know that only the rice in this dish weighs around 3 Kg.
After putting the rice, it is the turn of potatoes and boiled eggs and after that, three types of kebabs – malai chicken, Rajputana murg sula and chicken meatballs are placed on the top of the dish. After that, some delicious pieces of lamb chops and lamb seekh kebabs are also added in the dish while cashew nuts, pomegranates, fried onions and mint leaves are used for garnishing the dish.
However, the most important addition takes place now which makes it royal gold and costly. The edible gold sheets are added to pieces of meat which not only make the dish look beautiful and royal but also make it very expensive. In an Instagram post, the luxury hotel has posted the details about the dish and also reveals that it takes around 45 minutes to make this dish after the order is placed.
The social media users soon started expressing their opinion on the dish, while some love the beauty of the dish, several others slam the makers for calling this dish biryani as for them biryani can’t be made without dum. Here are some selected reactions:

There is no denying the fact that our lives have changed a lot due to the coronavirus pandemic in the last one year, especially of those who have been working from home all this time. Working from home may have been a little difficult in the beginning but after some time, most of us started liking it as it was quite comfortable because we did not need to wake up early in the morning, bath, rush to the office, spend hours in traffic, etc.
However, now the things are getting back to normal as the cases of COVID-19 are decreasing in India barring few states and many employers have also brought their staff back to the office. Moreover, the availability of COVID-19 vaccine and the vaccination campaign that is being carried out by the government is also decreasing the fear of the lethal virus, though we should ensure that we still follow all the precautionary measures.
Recently a woman employee posted a video on a social media platform in which she revealed how her heart broke when she received an email from her office asking what she thinks of returning to the office or how safe she feels coming back to the office. She asks as to what the need of returning to the office is when all the work is going on in a pretty good manner from the home and the company is also saving the expenditure of transportation. She adds that she has packed her shirts, jeans and other dresses as now she is habitual of living and working in pyjamas and health-wise also, working from home has benefitted her as her dark circles are gone now.
The video is quite hilarious as the woman has used some funny proverbs for explaining the situation. In the end, she also takes the name of her boss or employer and says that the video is only for fun purpose and she will come to work anywhere she wants as there is already dearth of jobs in the market.
The video is pretty relatable and will make you go ROFL:

The social media users could relate to every word of the video and found it extremely hilarious. Some even requested her employer Zoya not to fire her as she expressed “dil ka dard” of every work from home employee in a brilliant way.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the Bollywood actress who is making India proud by working in international movies as well, has a great fashion sense but sometimes she wears such unique dresses which give ample fodder to memers and netizens to come up with creative stuffs and give it all a hilarious turn. Recently, Desi Girl wore a green polka dot ball-shaped outfit that was titled as “Polka Dot Draped Orb” which was a part of the Halpern Studio’s Spring Summer 2021 collection.
As per a leading daily, Priyanka wore that dress during a video call with a very famous Instagram dog Tika. Soon after that, PeeCee’s photos in ball-shaped outfit went viral and social media got flooded with rib-tickling memes on it.
However, what makes it more interesting is that Priyanka herself loved all the memes and she took to the micro-blogging site Twitter for thanking all the creative people for making her day.
When a user questioned Priyanka on wearing such a dress when she has a beautiful figure, her answer certainly increased respect for her in eyes of her fans.
The fan wrote, “Are you serious ma’am is that a dress than what’s the point to have good figure.”
Are you serious ma’am is that a dress than what’s the point to have good figure.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas was recently seen in movie “The White Tiger” which also starred Rajkummar Rao and was based on the book written by Aravind Adiga by the same name.
There is no denying the fact that Priyanka’s dress is out-of-the-box but laughing on oneself is an art not everyone knows and PeeCee is the master of it! Kudos to her for enjoying what all fans shower on her in form of their love!
Celebrities having huge fan following is not new but only few celebs are blessed with loyal fans who get upset if anything unpleasant happens to their favourite celeb. One such celebrity is comedian and actor Kapil Sharma whose fans were left worried when his video sitting on a wheelchair went viral while coming out of the Mumbai airport some days ago.
Whereas the mediapersons were capturing him with their cameras, the ace comedian and the person with him lost their cool but now finally Kapil Sharma has revealed the reason behind it.
In a chat with an entertainment portal, Kapil Sharma states that he is fine and it’s just that he has injured his back a little while working out in the gym. Many fans and celebs have wished him speedy recovery.
The Kapil Sharma Show has gone off-air as the comedian has taken paternity leave and recently his wife Ginnu Chatrath has given birth to a baby boy. However, there is nothing to be sad for his fans as Kapil Sharma will be making his digital debut with a show on Netflix. Though he has also tried his hands in movies, he hasn’t tasted much success as his debut flick “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon” and his second film “Firangi” were not able to perform well at the box-office. The comedian has also given voiceover in the English cartoon movie “The Angry Birds Movie 2”.
The Kapil Sharma Show has been one of the most loved shows of the Indian television and we will love to see it back on the TV pretty soon!
The ongoing test series between India and England is quite important for both the teams as the winner of this series will be playing the final of the ICC World Test Championship. However, the third test match which will start today (Feb 24) in Ahmedabad is also very important for the Indian pacer Ishant Sharma as it will be his 100th test match. Ishant Sharma will be the 11th Indian cricketer to play 100 or more test matches but he will be the first specialist Indian pacer to reach the 100 test mark. Though the former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev also crossed the 100 test mark, he was not a specialist pacer.
Recently, Ishant Sharma appeared on the YouTube show of his teammate Ravichandran Ashwin and revealed the reason behind Dhoni’s decision of taking retirement from the tests and why he didn’t play to join the 100 test club. MS Dhoni, the former skipper of the Indian cricket team, was known as a team player who had never cared about the personal achievements. The Captain Cool took the decision of retiring from test cricket suddenly during the tour of Australia in 2014 after playing 90 test matches.
Ishant stated that though MS Dhoni could have played 100 test matches easily, he announced retirement all of a sudden from test cricket because he wanted Wriddhiman Saha to be nurtured for international level. Sharma said that once when they both were in England, Dhoni told him that it was not important for him to play 100 test matches and rather they should start grooming Saha.
The Delhi cricketer also narrated an incident from the last test match of MS Dhoni which was Boxing Day test match played in Melbourne. Ishant Sharma told that his knees were paining a lot and he was taking injections on a regular basis in every session. Ishant told that on the 4th day in the last session, he went to Dhoni to tell him that he would not be able to bowl more because of the pain but the reply that he got left him in a state of shock.
Dhoni told him that it was fine if he could not bowl anymore but then he said to Ishant, “Lambu tune mujhe test match mein chhod diya (you have deserted me in a test match)” and when Ishant was not able to understand the meaning of this sentence, Dhoni told him that he left him in the mid of his last test match.
Ishant further added that he was taken aback after knowing that Dhoni was retiring and he told the former skipper that if he had known that it was his last test match, he would have loved to continue playing. Ishant also told that not just he but no one knew that Dhoni had taken the decision of retiring.
We wish Ishant Sharma all the best for his 100th test match! And how can we forget to mention, you will always be missed Mahi bhai!
