The coronavirus pandemic has brought many changes in our lives, some were pleasant while several others were not so good. We all were forced to remain inside our houses for a majority part of the year 2020 in an attempt to stop the spread of the lethal virus. While some people were fortunate enough to be with their families, few were stuck with friends, flat-mates, etc. The situation was a blessing for those who were with their loving family members as they got to spend some quality time with them which they would not have got in routine circumstances. But the situation was quite difficult for those who were stuck with annoying people as they had no option other than bearing their tantrums because no one was allowed to leave their houses.

A study was conducted by King’s College London in order to find the impact of the coronavirus lockdown on the people in United Kingdom and it was found that many people got engaged in huge arguments with those they were living with and because of this, many of them suffered from anger issues.

However, an unusual incident took place in Sussex in which a wanted man surrendered himself to police because he was really fed up of the people with whom he was living and wished to live peacefully. The incident came into light when Inspector Darren Taylor took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and narrated the whole incident in short.

Here’s what he wrote, “Peace and quiet! Wanted male handed himself in to the team yesterday afternoon after informing us he would rather go back to prison then have to spend more time with the people he was living with! One in custody and heading back to prison to serve some further time on his own”.

While few online users felt bad for him, some also talked about the kids who were forced to live with abusive parents in the times of the COVID-19 lockdown.

In this video, the relatives can be seen gifting a can filled with petrol, a gas cylinder and garland of onions to the couple. The couple also showed love for their relatives and their gifts by sporting the onion garlands and posing for camera with their relatives and gifts.

There is no denying the fact that these are the items which everyone needs and in the present scenario, they are pretty costly as well. The price of petrol has reached Rs. 100 per liter in some regions of the country, the price of cooking gas cylinder is also on the rise for the past few months and onions were already making people cry with their price. So it can be said that the relatives of the couple are quite intelligent as they provided with those things without which the couple won’t be able to start their new life and what can be more expensive than these things.

“I Felt Like I Was The World’s Loneliest Guy,” Virat Kohli Opens Up On Going Through Depression

Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team skipper, is undoubtedly one of the best cricketers of the world in the present times but he has also faced many ups and downs in his cricketing career and the 2014 England tour was quite a tough one for him. Recently, he opened up on the difficult times that he went through during an interview with former England cricketer Mark Nicholas.

On that tour, Virat was out of form and in the five tests that he played, he scored 1, 8, 25, 0, 39, 28, 0, 7, 6 and 20 with an average of 13.40. When Mark asked Virat whether he suffered from depression on that tour, the RCB skipper replied in affirmation and said that he did indeed. As per him, it is certainly not a good feeling for a batsman to know that he won’t be able to make runs and he is quite sure that every batsman goes through such a stage when he is not able to control anything. Virat said that he didn’t have any idea on how to get rid of it or change the things and he felt as if he was the loneliest person in the world.

Virat Kohli further added that for him, it was a revelation that a person can feel alone despite the fact that he is a part of the big group. He went on to say that though there were many people with whom he could have spoken to, yet he thought that he needed professional help at that time. He stated that having a professional who could understand what he was going through would have helped a lot, adding that it could have been a great factor as well and he hopes that things will change now.

Virat Kohli said that there should be someone with whom a person can talk at any stage and tell him how he feels, that he is not able to sleep or doesn’t want to wake up in the morning, let him know that he lacks confidence and can ask what he should do now.

Virat talked more about the need of professional help as he said that the mental health can’t be ignored. According to him, many people go through such phase and that too for a long period of time such as months or complete cricketing season and this increases the requirement of professional assistance.

He also talked about his childhood days and how the Indian team of the 90s gave him the faith that if a person believes in himself, he can even do magical things in life. He said that it was after seeing the team play, he felt the spark which prompted him to work hard to play for the country one day.

Talking about the most impactful incident of his life, Virat Kohli said that the departure of his father Premchand Kohli was the time when he started seeing things in proper perspective as his father was his biggest supporter and he worked very hard to ensure that Virat got the best cricket gear or he should carry on with his cricket practice. Virat Kohli was 18 years old when his father took his last breath and from there on, he became more determined to play for India one day regardless of any hurdle or situation.

He also says that he has never cared or worked about creating a perception of himself in the eyes of others, he just thinks what he can do for the game of cricket as an individual. He also makes it clear that he doesn’t give much importance to the expectations of others because he feels that it is a burden if a person starts thinking too much about them.

Sreesanth Comments On Punjab Kings’ Co-Owner Preity Zinta’s Post Before IPL 2021 Auction

The Indian cricketer S Sreesanth is trying pretty hard to make a comeback in the Indian team but his efforts got a setback when he failed to make it to the list of the cricketers for the IPL 2021 auction. Though the cricketer posted a video in which he said that he is not at all upset with it but still if he got a chance to play in the IPL 2021, it must have given a boost to his hopes.

S Sreesanth was accused to be involved in the spot-fixing scandal in the IPL 2013 after which a life-time ban was imposed on him by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) which was later on reduced to seven years. Recently, Sreesanth played for his home state in the Syed Musthaq Ali Trophy and it appears that even now he hopes to play in the IPL 2021 as in the past there have been instances when the franchises have picked players in the middle of the league due to various reasons.

Before the auction took place, Bollywood actress and the co-owner of Punjab Kings (older name Kings XI Punjab) Preity Zinta took to her Instagram account and asked fans to tell the name of the players they want to see in the Punjab team.

While fans started commenting, S Sreesanth was also not behind and he made a series of comments in which he asked Preity to pick him. He also added that he is priceless because he was not a part of the auction.

Sam Billings’ Girlfriend Trolls Him For Being Unsold In IPL 2021 Auction, ICC Reacts Hilariously

The auction for the IPL 2021 took place yesterday and while there were some players who fetched huge amount, several others went unsold. The England wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings is also one of those who went unsold. Earlier many felt that his base price of Rs. 2 crore was quite high but still it was believed that he would be bought as he performed great for his county team Kent and for his national side as well in T20s. Recently, the wicketkeeper-batsman performed well in Australia’s T20 Premier League Big Bash League in which he played for Sydney Thunder.

After Sam Billings went unsold in the IPL 2021 auction, the England cricketer took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and revealed how he was trolled by his girlfriend after he went unsold. Sam tweeted, “My girlfriend Sarah just turns to me and goes… ‘Why aren’t you a bowler?’”

After this tweet of Sam Billings, the official Twitter handle of International Cricket Council (ICC) also got active and trolled the England cricketer by posting his bowling statistics. In his whole cricketing career, Sam Billings has not bowled even a single ball at the international level but in his first class career, he bowled one delivery on which he was hit for a four. ICC wrote, “The only way is up”.

Soon Sam Billings also responded with, “Leg Spin incoming” as if he wanted to tell that he bowled leg spin.

It was not just Sam Billings but other wicketkeeper-batsmen including Alex Carey and Glenn Philips were not given any importance in the IPL 2021 auction too. On the other hand, fast bowlers such as Chris Morris (Rajasthan Royals – Rs. 16.25 crore), Jhye Richardson (Punjab Kings – Rs. 14 crore), etc. are bought for huge amount.

Kagiso Rabada Prioritizes South Africa Over IPL, Reacts On Missing Some Matches In IPL 2021

The final dates of the IPL 2021 are yet to be announced but it is being confirmed that it will commence in the first or second week of April. Delhi Capitals may miss the services of South African pacer Kagiso Rabada in the initial phase of the tournament as he will be playing for his country against Pakistan in the limited over series.

South Africa and Pakistan will be clashing against each other in 4 T20Is and 3 ODIs from April 2 to April 16 and Kagiso Rabada won’t be able to play for DC in the IPL during this period. In an interview, the South African pacer says it clearly that for him, his nation comes first and he may miss one week of the IPL 2021 if it starts at the same time with the series against Pakistan. He also adds that though Delhi is like a home to him in India, he will give priority to national duty.

Delhi Capitals will certainly like Kagiso Rabada to play maximum matches for them in the IPL 2021 as in the last season of the league which was played in UAE, Rabada was the highest wicket-taker with 30 wickets for which he played 17 matches including the 2 four wicket hauls.

The former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer was all praises for the South African pacer as he reached the 200 wickets mark in the test cricket. As of now, Kagiso Rabada has taken 202 wickets in the 45 test matches that he has played and in the shorter format also, he has made quite a good impact with 117 wickets in 75 one-day internationals and 31 wickets in 26 T20Is.

Cop Suspended For Kissing A Girl Instead Of Fining Her For Breaking COVID Rules

The coronavirus pandemic has certainly made our lives very difficult and at the same time, it has also brought many changes in our lifestyle. While the majority of the countries of the world were forced to enforce lockdown last year after the outbreak, the situation in the maximum nations can be called in control as of now but there are few countries which are still not able to contain the virus. While India and some other countries have developed the vaccine for COVID-19, countries like Peru are still enforcing curfew in order to stop the virus from spreading.

In curfews or lockdowns, policemen have a great responsibility to fulfill as they are the ones who stop people from coming out of their houses by imposing fines or punishing them legally. However, a policeman in Peru was caught doing something which was highly irresponsible in terms of his duty and in regard to the risky situation as well.

This incident took place in Lima, the capital of Peru, and the policeman stopped a woman at Malecon de la Marina (Miraflores Boardwalk) which runs close to the Pacific Ocean. As curfew is imposed in Peru, the policeman was about to write a notice and fine the woman for breaching the coronavirus restrictions but the woman tried to convince the policeman for not fining her by offering him a kiss. In the beginning, the policeman hesitated but later on, he agreed and kissed the woman in place of fining her.

The video clip of the incident was obtained by a local TV station. After that, the policeman was suspended and an investigation has also been ordered in the incident.

The district in-charge of citizen security, Ibero Rodriguez states that the mayor Luis Molina has decided to suspend the guilty officer with immediate effect. Ibero added that many violations were made as first the officer allowed the woman not to follow social distancing and subsequently, he not only removed his mask but also kissed her.

Ibero confirms that the concerned policeman has never faced any disciplinary action earlier but this is such a serious mistake that he has been suspended immediately. While the identity of policeman has not been revealed, the identity of the woman is unknown.

There is no denying the fact that this is a serious mistake as Peru is facing wrath of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic and more than 44k people have lost their lives to this lethal disease.
