This is not the first time that such a thing has happened, last year a bride was seen working on her laptop while sitting on the stage dressed traditionally with her groom looking bewildered. While some praised the bride for her dedication towards her company, few slammed the company for overburdening the employee so much that she was not able to enjoy her own marriage.

The Indian team management was slammed heavily by few former Indian cricketers such as Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, etc. for not including Kuldeep Yadav in the playing eleven against England in the first test match even before the test match started and now the childhood coach of Kuldeep Yadav has thrashed the team management for not treating Kuldeep Yadav properly.
Kuldeep Yadav played his last test match in Sydney in 2019 in which he took a 6-wicket haul and the head coach of the Indian team Ravi Shastri praised him by saying that he is number one choice for playing the overseas tour. Though he was included in the team for the Australian tour 2020-21, he didn’t play even a single test match in the recently concluded India-Australia test series.
The former cricketers and cricket fans were quite optimistic about seeing Kuldeep Yadav playing in the first test match against England at Chennai, especially considering the fact that Ravindra Jadeja was injured so Kuldeep would have been the perfect choice for the Indian squad. However, Shahbaz Nadeem got the chance to play despite the fact that he was not a part of the team originally. He came in after Axar Patel got injured and he failed to make any impact as team India lost the first test match by 227 runs.
Kuldeep Yadav’s childhood coach Kapil Pandey has blasted the Indian team management by saying that Kuldeep is on tour with them but he is not getting chance to play. They are not concerned with the wonderful stats of Kuldeep as they are treating him just like a normal cricketer.
Kapil Pandey also refers to the Hindi saying, “ghar ki murgi dal barabar” by which he implies that no importance is given to the talent which is with them and they are looking for talent outside. Kapil Pandey goes on to take a jibe at the management by saying that the player who is with the team and practicing with them is not getting a chance but the player who is not prepared is being given the opportunity.
While talking to a sports portal, Kapil Pandey also questions the greatness of the Indian skipper and coach. He also claims that Kuldeep is ousted from the squad even if he underperforms a little bit but other players get a lot of chances.

Michael Vaughan, the former England cricketer, is known for being very critical of the Indian cricket team and now once again, he has taken a dig at the Indian squad after it lost the first test match to the England side by 227 runs.
The English cricket team was on the tour to Sri Lanka before coming to India and there they defeated Sri Lanka by 2-0 in the 2-match test series. In the first test match against India which was played at Chepauk stadium, Chennai, the visitors were far superior to the hosts from the day one. The England skipper Joe Root who was playing his 100th test match played a brilliant knock of 218 runs and helped his team in posting a huge total of 578 runs in their first innings.
The England bowlers were also bang on target as they bundled out the whole Indian team for just 337 runs which gave a good lead of 241 runs to England. Though the England team was not able to score much in the second innings as they were all out for 178, they still gave a pretty good target of 420 runs to the Indian side. In response, the hosts were all out for just 192 and consequently, England won the first test match by 227 runs.
Few hours after the test match got over, the former English cricketer turned commentator Michael Vaughan took to the micro-blogging site Twitter for taking a jibe at the Indian squad by questioning it for not gifting a signed T-shirt to Joe Root as a gesture to acknowledge him for playing his 100th test match. There is no rule as per which the opposition team has to gift a signed T-shirt to the player who is playing his 100th test match but India did gift a signed T-shirt to Australian cricketer Nathan Lyon after he played his 100th test match which was the fourth test match of the series and was played at Gabba, Brisbane.
Michael Vaughan wrote, “India gifted @NathLyon421 a signed shirt for his 100th Test at the end of the Gabba Win … Did @root66 receive one today after the loss ?? Not sure if it happened? Can anyone confirm ?”
This certainly was not liked by the Indian cricket fans and they again did what they have been doing for quite some time now, i.e., trolling Michael Vaughan mercilessly for unnecessarily targeting the Indian team every now and then. Here are some of the selected reactions:

The India-England test series is quite important considering the fact that it will decide which team will face New Zealand in the finals of the ICC World Test Championship 2019-21. England has started quite well by winning the first test match of the series by 227 runs and this is Virat Kohli’s fourth straight loss as the skipper of the team.
Virat Kohli has been on the radar of the Indian Twitterati after India lost the first test match against Australia which was played at Adelaide. In that test match, India suffered a humiliating defeat by 8 wickets and in the second innings, the Indian team got out for just 36 which is its lowest total ever. However, the fortunes of the team changed after Ajinkya Rahane took the charge as Virat came to India on paternity leave.
In the remaining three test matches, India scripted history by winning the two test matches and getting one drawn. India won the four match test series against Australia by 2-1 and after that, many started demanding that Ajinkya Rahane should be made the permanent captain of the Indian test team while Virat Kohli should play as a batsman only. These demands got suppressed after Ajinkya Rahane made it clear that he is happy being the deputy of Virat Kohli and the latter will retain the post of captain.
However after the first test match defeat against England, many cricket fans have again raised their voices and demanded that Virat Kohli should be sacked from captaincy and Ajinkya Rahane should be appointed as the new skipper.

As per a report published in a leading daily, a trader from Thane was robbed by a con couple as they sold him a fake gold necklace for Rs. 4 lakh. The twist in the whole incident was that the con couple first told a story to the trader as per which the necklace that they were selling was unearthed from their family property which is in Vapi, Gujarat.
The couple invoked emotions in the story by telling the trader that they were selling the necklace at a very less price than the market rate because they needed money badly. The couple initially showed only two beads of the necklace to the trader which he got checked and as they were made of real gold, the trader’s confidence in the couple increased and he agreed to purchase the whole necklace.
The trader thought that he was getting a pretty good deal because Rs. 4 lakh was pretty less for such a heavy gold necklace. He purchased it without getting the whole necklace checked and the con couple succeeded in making a fool of him.

It was after a long time that the trader realised that he had been cheated and he went to register a complaint at the Wagle Estate police station. The police has started the investigation and hopefully the con couple will be caught soon.

The English cricket team has taken the lead by 1-0 in the ongoing four-match test series against India by defeating the hosts in the first test match comfortably by 227 runs. While Joe Root shined as a batsman and as a captain, his bowlers also did a great job by dismissing the Indian team two times.
Jack Leach, the English spinner, is playing in India for the first time and it won’t be wrong to say that he performed really well as he took 6 wickets in the test match. However, Jack Leach did face some problems initially as he was hammered brutally by the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant in the first innings of India.
There was a time when Jack Leach’s bowling figures were 0 for 77 runs in the 8 overs as Rishabh Pant targeted him by hitting 5 sixes on his bowling. While talking to a leading Indian daily, Jack Leach said that he felt as if he was playing in the Indian Premier League and it was certainly a challenge for him. He adds that as a spinner, these things happen at times but he will never enjoy a situation in which he has given away 80 runs in 8 overs as per which his average has touched the double digit mark. Jack Leach further said that he needed to stay strong and his teammates also helped him a lot, adding that though the evening on the third day was tough, he still played well in the last two days.
Those eight overs were tough for Jack Leach but after that, he found the good length and took 2 wickets and also played an important role in sending Rishabh Pant back to pavilion by taking his catch. If we talk about the second innings, Jack Leach’s performance was quite better as he took 4 wickets and gave away only 76 runs.
Jack Leach is quite happy that he has done well in India as it is his first time in the country and the Indian side has a pretty good batting line up. He also adds that he is glad to take wickets in the first test and help his team in winning the first test match.

The former English cricketer made an attempt to strengthen his views by posting stats as he wrote that Joe Root averages 70.7 against the spin bowling while his Indian counterpart averages 69. He added that against off-spin Joe Root’s average is 71.2 while Virat Kohli averages only 53.1; hence Joe Root is a better player of spin of the two.
