Kolkata Couple Comes Up With Unique Idea Of Aadhaar Card Themed Food Menu For Their Marriage

Marriage is certainly the most memorable moment of our lives and the youngsters of today are leaving no stone unturned in making this moment more special for them. The couples like to talk and decide about each and every thing before the actual function and they love to do something out of the box in order to make their wedding unique.

Here in this article, we are going to share with you something quite unusual that you might have never heard before. A couple from Kolkata came up with a great idea of designing Aadhaar card themed food menu card of their marriage.

Their one-of-its-kind food menu card is getting a lot of attention on the social media networks and the creators of this card – the groom Gogol Saha and bride Subarna Das who is a healthcare worker by profession are pretty happy about it. It was Subarna who came up with this idea and Gogol supported her completely. Gogol says that they both are supporters of Digital India and he thought of it a great way to show their faith in it. He also told that the guests just loved the idea and few of them even asked him whether they left their Aadhaar card on the dining table which was quite hilarious.

The food menu has traditional Bengali dishes along with chicken lollipop, coffee and crispy babycorn in the starters. On the back side of the card, it is also written that the card is valid for today only with the name of the caterers as well.

A Twitter user shared the photos of the unique food menu card and also pokes fun by writing that a person may have to go with a Voter ID Card for attending their marriage.

The Twitter user’s caption read, “The couple, Gogol Saha & Subarna Das are both residents of Rajarhat area of Kolkata, West Bengal who tied the knot on February 1 got their wedding food menu printed like an Aadhaar card. Inke reception mai jaane keliye voter ID lagega shayed”.

Wasim Jaffer Hilariously Trolls Tim Paine Before First INDvsENG Test With A Funny Meme

The first test match between India and England has started at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, and England decided to bat after winning the toss. The visitors have justified their decision as till the time this article was written, they were batting at 163/2 with Dom Sibley and skipper Joe Root both batting at the score of 60 each. This series is very important for both the teams as the winner of the series will be locking horns with New Zealand in the finals of the ICC World Test Championship which will be played at Lord’s in June this year.

Wasim Jaffer, the former Indian cricketer, has been quite active on the social media networks for past some time and he was very critical of the Aussies when India was on the tour to Australia. He once again trolled the Aussie skipper Tim Paine even before the first test match between England and India started.

Wasim Jaffer took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a meme in which there are two photos. In the first pic, Tim Paine is seen having a chat with Joe Root and in the second one, Tim Paine is having a funny conversation with Steve Smith whom he reveals what he told the England skipper, “I told him when things get tough in India say, ‘Can’t wait to get you to Lord’s’”.

The Australian skipper Tim Paine was trolled a lot for his “Can’t wait to see you at Gabba” comment which he said to the Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin during the Sydney test match.

The Indian team played four-match test series in Australia recently and won it by 2-1 after suffering a humiliating defeat in the first test match at Adelaide. Many former cricketers predicted that the Aussies would win the series by 4-0 as the Indian skipper returned after the first test match but the Indian squad performed brilliantly and won the Melbourne test match and leveled the series by 1-1. In the Sydney test match, the Australians had an upper hand for the first four days but the Indians showed great fighting spirit and saved the test match by ending it in a draw.

The Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin played a great role in saving the Sydney test match as he along with Hanuma Vihari played 259 balls. The Aussies got very frustrated, the skipper Tim Paine also lost his cool and said to Ashwin that he can’t wait to see him at Gabba. In response, Ashwin told Paine that he also can’t wait to see him in India and that will be Paine’s last series. After this, Tim Paine used an abusive word for Ashwin for which he was slammed by many.

The Australian cricket team had a great record at Gabba as it was invincible over there for almost 32 years but that record has been broken by the Indians as they won the fourth test match and the series as well.

Someone Hacks Jonty Rhodes’ Twitter Account & Posts Sachin Tendulkar’s Tweet On His Handle

The social media networks have become a great medium for the celebrities and sportspersons to interact with their fans and share updates of their personal and professional lives. Moreover, the social media accounts of celebs getting hacked is also not new and this time, the Twitter handle of former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes got hacked.

Even more amazingly, the hacker posted the tweet which was made by Sachin Tendulkar in support of the central government in regard to the farmers protest.

When Jonty Rhodes noticed Sachin Tendulkar’s tweet, he understood that something was wrong and he posted a screenshot of the same on his Instagram account with caption, “Appears that my Twitter account has been hacked, never had that before”.

The Little Master came out in support of the Indian government after American pop singer Rihanna and famous environmentalist Greta Thunberg tweeted in support of farmers who are protesting against the three agriculture reform laws which have been passed by the Modi government. While 11 rounds of talks have been carried out between the government and farmers, the matter hasn’t got resolved as of now because the farmers are in no mood to retreat until the laws are repealed.

Sachin Tendulkar, the only cricketer who has scored 100 international centuries in his career, took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and made it clear to everyone that the Indians can solve their internal matters and foreigners can be spectators but not participants.

His tweet read, “India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let’s remain united as a nation.”

Not just Sachin Tendulkar but many other cricketers such as Pragyan Ojha and Suresh Raina along with many Bollywood celebs including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty came in support of the Indian government. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri have also made tweets to tell the world that it is an internal matter of India and they need not worry as a solution will surely come by dialogue.

Virat Kohli tweeted, “Let us all stay united in this hour of disagreements. Farmers are an integral part of our country and I’m sure an amicable solution will be found between all parties to bring about peace and move forward together. #IndiaTogether”

Indian head coach Ravi Shastri tweeted, “Agriculture is a very important part of the machinery of the Indian economic system. Farmers are the backbone of any country’s ecosystem. This is an internal matter which I’m sure will be resolved through dialogue. Jai Hind!  #IndiaStandsTogether #IndiaAgainstPropoganda”

Sasural Simar Ka’s Highly Illogical Choking Scene Gets Viral; Twitter Goes WTF

The Indian serials are full of drama and it won’t be wrong to say that there are times when there is no logic in the scenes but still these serials get good TRPs and are aired for long time. We have seen many insensible things happening in the serials and recently a small clip of a show went viral because people were not able to find sense and logic in that scene.

We are talking about Sasural Simar Ka which is quite popular among the daily soap lovers. As far as the scene is concerned, a character Pari is seen asking for forgiveness from her grandmother but the old woman is in no mood to forgive her and she is trying to get rid of Pari. However, Pari gets tangled in the shawl of the grandmother and the latter keeps on pulling her shawl without even looking at Pari and eventually Pari loses her consciousness while grandmother walks out of the room.

Varun Sharma Speaks On His Struggles, Was Given Food In Paint Cans & Rotis Wrapped In Newspaper

Bollywood actor Varun Sharma has given some really good performances in his short career and it won’t be wrong to say that with his superb acting, he has made few characters immortal such as Chucha from “Fukrey” series. However, Varun’s journey has been full of ups and downs and the actor never had an idea that he would be able to make people laugh with his comedy skills.

Varun is basically from Jalandhar, Punjab, and he thought of becoming an actor after watching Shah Rukh Khan in the movie “Baazigar”. Some time ago, Varun revealed how badly he was treated in the beginning of his career as once he was told that he was going to play the role of hero’s friend but in reality, he was signed as a background artist.

This incident dates back to 2011-12, he was told to sign a contract of four lines which he signed as he had no knowledge at that time. Varun further added that he was sent for shooting by train but after reaching there, he found out that he was not hero’s friend but a background artist. He added that main characters used to shoot while he used to walk behind them and he kept on doing it as he thought that he would get some experience.

Varun also told how he and others like him were given food in paint boxes, foil was fixed inside while the name of the brand was seen on the outer side. Varun told that in one paint box, there was daal, one had rice and one had vegetable while chapattis were given wrapped in newspaper.

Varun made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the movie “Fukrey” which was a big hit and his character of Chucha in the film was loved and praised.

Varun will be seen next in “Roohi Afzana” which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.

She is also a part of Salman Khan starrer “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali” and Prabhas starrer “Radhe Shyam” which is being made simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Pooja has also signed two Telugu movies – “Most Eligible Bachelor” and “Acharya”.

Virat Kohli Mimics Dhoni’s Iconic Helicopter Shot During Practice, BCCI Shares Video

The contest between the Indian cricket squad and the England team is going to be a great one as both the teams are high on confidence and they won’t be leaving any stone unturned in order to earn points in the ICC World Test Championship. While India has returned from Australia after winning the four match test series by 2-1, England has also defeated the Lankans at their home by 2-0.

The Indian squad has started training in Chennai from Feb 2 after serving the compulsory quarantine of 6 days and on this occasion, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a small clip on their official Twitter handle in which the Indian players including Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin and others were seen having fun on the ground.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is back with the team after the birth of his baby girl who has been named as Vamika and he seemed to have enjoyed the first day a lot. While Virat Kohli was seen playing cricket and chatting with other players, what was noticed the most by fans was that he was trying to copy the helicopter shot of the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni.

Virat Kohli returned from Australia after the first test match in which India got badly defeated and after that, Ajinkya Rahane led the team in an impeccable manner as the Indian squad created history by defeating the Aussies by 2-1 and winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
