The whole world has been severely affected with the coronavirus pandemic and India is also no exception to it. The Indians were hoping that Budget 2021 would give some boost to the Indian economy and today the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her third budget and the first paperless budget as this year’s budget hasn’t been printed and it will be available digitally only.

In Budget 2021, no change has been proposed in the income tax slabs but an announcement has been made regarding the scrapping of income tax for the senior citizens of the country but under some conditions only. The finance minister gave a boost to the healthcare as Rs. 2 lakh crore have been allocated for it which also include Rs. 35K crore for the vaccine development and vaccination. Textile industry has also been given a push by increasing the custom duty on raw silk and cotton while automobile sector has been boosted by announcing a new policy for vehicle scrapping. An agri cess has also been added – Rs. 4 on diesel and Rs. 2.5 on petrol.

The foreign direct investment (FDI) in insurance has also been increased from 49 percent to 74 percent and government has shown its interest in allowing foreign ownership but has also implemented some safety measures. As far as infrastructure is concerned, the Indian states – Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal and Assam will get major spending on highway expansions. Well at the same time, how we can forget to mention that there will be elections in these states soon.

Rahane Reveals Why He Refused To Cut The Kangaroo Cake & It Will Make You Respect Him More

The Indian cricket team is all set to face the team of England in the first test match which is starting from Feb 5 at Chidambaram stadium, Chennai. While the English team is high on confidence after defeating the Sri Lankan squad in 2-match test series by 2-0, the Indian cricket team has also made history as it defeated the Aussies by 2-1 in the four match test series in their home and the biggest shock that the Indian side gave to the Australia is the defeat at Gabba, Brisbane, where they had been invincible for the last 32 years.

The start of the test series was pretty bad for the Indian team as they lost the first test match by 8 wickets and also scored 36 runs in their second innings which is the lowest total scored by India in test matches. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli also returned to India after the first test match as he was on paternity leave and almost everybody thought that the Australian team would whitewash the series by 4-0.

However, the Indian cricket squad under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane showed immense courage, patience and fighting spirit and turned the tables upside down by winning the Melbourne test. Ajinkya Rahane proved his leadership skills once again when India saved the Sydney test match by ending it in a draw and then they created history by defeating the Aussies at Gabba, Brisbane.

Rahane was praised for his leadership and some even went on to demand that Jinx should be made the permanent skipper of the test team. However, now Ajinkya Rahane has made it clear that Virat Kohli is his captain and he will remain in the future as well, adding that the former is happy being the vice-captain.

After returning to India, the Indian cricket team got a grand welcome and Rahane’s neighbours also planned a grand welcome for him along with a cake. But the Indian test vice-captain refused to cut the cake as there was a figure of Kangaroo on it.

Recently, Rahane opened up on this matter while chatting with cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle. Jinx said that Kangaroo is the national animal of Australia and he didn’t want to cut that. He added that whether you win or create history, you should respect the opposition and their country because of which he refused to cut the cake.

India’s First Ever Igloo Café Opens In Kashmir & Pics Will Make You Want To Visit It Right Away

Enjoying in the snow is something that almost every travel loving person will like to do in this winter season but having a cup of coffee or tea in an igloo café is something that even an introvert will enjoy.

There is good news for the Indians as now we have our first igloo café which has been started in Gulmarg, Kashmir. For those who are unaware of igloo, let us tell you that it is a type of snow house or snow hut. The igloo is 13ft high and 22ft wide from inside and everything inside the café, from tables to chairs to decoration pieces, are made of snow which further enhance the beauty of the café. It has four tables with four chairs at each table which means that 16 people can be accommodated at one time in the café.

The owner of this igloo café is Waseem Shah who also runs Kolhai Resorts. Talking to a news portal, Waseem says that as he is a traveler and he has witnessed such things in foreign countries like Switzerland because of which he thought of doing something like that over here. He adds that this is the first one in Gulmarg and hopefully some more will be set up soon.

“Jaadoo Aa Gaya,” Twitter Flooded With Hilarious Tweets As Pakistani Pilot Allegedly Saw UFO

One question that has always intrigued us is whether we are alone in this universe or there is life on some other planets as well and if aliens exist, when we will be able to come in contact with them. Well, there have been incidents which indicate towards the existence of aliens, such as sighting of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), etc.

On Saturday, a pilot of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) claimed that he saw a UFO while he was flying a domestic flight. This incident took place during a domestic flight from Karachi to Lahore near a city called Rahim Yar Khan. As per the pilot, it was a very shiny UFO despite the fact that sunshine was also pretty good and the pilot feels that it can’t be a planet but may be a space station or any artificial planet.

The authorities have started investigating as to what was viewed by the pilot in the sky. The video that was recorded by the pilot soon went viral on the Internet and people started expressing their opinion in this regard.
