The coronavirus pandemic may have brought many nations on their knees but India fought valiantly. Though we lost many lives, it is very less in comparison to other countries if we calculate by keeping in mind our huge population with the population of other nations. While the Indian frontline warriors (doctors, medical staff, police, etc.) work pretty hard in order to control the pandemic, the researchers and scientists left no stone unturned and came up with vaccine in the record time and now the Indians are getting vaccinated all over the country.

Recently, a doctor got himself vaccinated but what happened next was something which happens almost in every house but this time, it got public because the doctor was live online.

We are talking about Dr. K K Aggarwal, a cardiologist who has also been awarded with Padma Shri. He was recorded when he was having a conversation with his wife in regard to getting vaccinated against COVID-19 and the clip is going viral for all the hilarious reasons.

In the video, Dr. K K Aggarwal told his wife that he just went to enquire about the vaccine and the people over there told him that he could get vaccinated so he got the shot. His wife was not happy with it and she asked him why he couldn’t take her with him for the vaccination and kept on repeating not to lie to her. Dr. K K Aggarwal tried to calm her by telling that she could get it on Monday but when she didn’t calm down, he told her that he was live but that too did not have any effect on his wife.

After the video went viral, Dr. K K Aggarwal also reacted, saying that he is aware of the clip which is going viral and he is happy that people are getting to laugh in such tough times at his expense. However in regard to his wife’s rant, he said that it was just her concern regarding his health and safety. He also expressed his happiness over the fact that he has educated many about the importance of vaccine and at one fell swoop, also mentioned that not taking the vaccine is a bigger reason to laugh.

Akshay Kumar Faces Wrath Of Fans For Walking 21KM On Treadmill To Understand Rural Women’s Pain

Water is one of the most important things that all the living beings need to survive and its scarcity is among the biggest concerns for all of us at the moment. However, what is more worrying is that majority of us are ignoring this problem and some are actually not aware of the seriousness of the issue.

On the Republic Day of India, News 18 along with Harpic organized an event – “Mission Paani Waterthon” in order to promote water conservation and hygiene. The event was hosted by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who talked about the importance of saving water along with the benefits of hydrotherapy. The “Kesari” star also came up with some simple ways of saving water, such as giving only half glass of water to guests who come home as they can ask for more if they feel thirsty, by stopping the use of flush and using tap water for urinals and installing sensor taps so that water wastage can be controlled in a pretty good manner. Akshay also talked about how hydrotherapy helped his body in recovering after rigorous workout session.

There are still many villages in India where women have to walk miles for getting water as there is no source of clean and safe drinking water in their villages. How serious this problem is can be understood by the fact that old men in some villages are getting married again to young women because their wives are getting older and are not able to walk long distance for water.

Akshay Kumar walked 21 km on treadmill in order to understand what those women go through who have to walk long distances for water.

However, this didn’t go well with social media users because many of them felt that Akshay Kumar made fun of those women by walking on treadmill wearing sport shoes in an AC room while those women have to walk barefoot on uneven path carrying utensils under the sunshine.

“Apna Time Aayega,” Kuldeep Yadav Breaks Silence On Not Being Included In Playing XI In INDvsAUS

Kuldeep Yadav is certainly a very talented spinner but for past some time, he is going through a rough phase. He also failed in making a comeback in the Indian squad for the fourth test match despite the fact that both Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were injured.

Recently in an interview to a sports portal, the Indian spinner talked about the Australian tour and accepted that he was disappointed for not being selected in the squad. However, he is happy that the team has attained victory and he is quite hopeful of making a place in the team for the England tour. Kuldeep stated that he was hoping to get a chance to play in Australia but he got upset as he didn’t get the opportunity. He further added that he might not have fit into the combination but the good thing is that India won the Border-Gavaskar trophy and the manner in which it was done was superb.

He further uses the dialogue from Ranveer Singh’s movie “Gully Boy” and says that he believes “Apna Time Aayega” (his time will come) and he will certainly deliver if he gets a chance to play in the series against England.

Kuldeep Yadav’s position in the squad got questioned after Washington Sundar got the chance to play as the only spinner in the Brisbane test match while everyone was thinking that Kuldeep would get to play as he is more experienced.

The Indian team had a very bad start to the four-match test series against Australia as they suffered a humiliating defeat by 8 wickets in the first test match which was played at Adelaide. What made the matter worse was the fact that in the second innings of the first test match, the Indian squad got all out for just 36 runs which is the lowest total ever scored by team India in test matches.

Talking about how the Indian team proceeded after the first test match, he said that the team had discussion the next day and the head coach Ravi Shastri told everyone that they should take it as a three match test series and all the players had fighting spirit throughout the series.

The Indian cricket team gave quite a rude shock to the Australians by defeating them in the four match test series by 2-1 and winning the Border-Gavaskar trophy and that too, without their skipper Virat Kohli and other senior players.

Virat was on the paternity leave as he wanted to be with his wife on the birth of their first kid so he returned to India after the first test match which was played in Adelaide. The Indian cricket team suffered a humiliating defeat in this test match and also scored its lowest total of 36 in test matches ever.

In the remaining three matches, the vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane led the team and we must admit that the squad performed in a superb manner under his leadership. It won’t be wrong to say that Rahane led from the front as he scored a century in the Melbourne test which India won and leveled the series. In the Sydney test match, the Indians showed their never give up attitude and saved the test match by ending it in a draw. Now Ajinkya Rahane has finally opened up on this matter and said that Virat Kohli will always be his captain and he will keep on fulfilling his duty of the vice-captain. While talking to a sports portal, Rahane says that he will give his best and lead the team whenever Virat will be absent.

Ajinkya Rahane also praises the skipper Virat Kohli and states that they both have played some really good knocks in India and on foreign tours as well. As per Rahane, the team gets benefit of Virat coming at no. 4 and him coming at no. 5. The Indian cricket team has returned to the country after winning the four-match test series against Australia in a magnificent manner. Soon they will clash against the England cricket team with which they will be playing 4 test matches, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is at home starting Feb 5. There is no doubt that it will be an interesting contest as while India is high on confidence after defeating Australia in their home in test series, the English team is also quite confident as they have beaten Sri Lanka in 2-match test series by 2-0 in their home.

While talking to a leading news daily, the English skipper Joe Root has said that his team has to play four important games against the best team of the world and that too, in their own conditions. He adds that they have to play their best game if they have to win over here but there can’t be a better place for challenging the Indian team.

As the series is taking place in the times of the coronavirus pandemic, the England team will be under quarantine for six days which will leave them with only three days for practice for the first test. ICC Posts A Hilarious Tweet As An Uninvited Guest Comes At Galle During England Vs Sri Lanka

The England cricket team is presently in Sri Lanka but it will be facing the Indian cricket team soon in the 4 test matches, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is. While the Indians are high on confidence after defeating the Australians in their home, the England cricket team will also be pretty confident post whitewashing the test series against Sri Lanka in their home by 2-0.

However, a strange incident took place in the second test match which was played at Galle International Stadium. Till now, we have seen dog, birds, etc. wandering on the field because of which sometimes the match has to be halted but in the second test match between England and Sri Lanka, a monitor lizard was noticed by cameraman on the boundary.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) also took a note of it and made a funny tweet in which it wrote that the council is reviewing reports of the Sri Lankan team using an extra fielder in the second test match.

The official Twitter handle of ICC posted the photo of monitor lizard with the caption, “The ICC is reviewing reports that Sri Lanka used an extra fielder against England in Galle today. The situation will be ‘monitored’.”
