Michael Vaughan Targets India For Not Willing To Travel To Brisbane, Gets Mercilessly Trolled

Michael Vaughan, the English cricketer, is known for taking a jibe at the Indian cricket team whenever he gets a chance and recently he has once again targeted the Indian squad over their unwillingness to go Brisbane for the fourth test if they have to face harder quarantine.

Vaughan has taken to the micro-blogging site Twitter and questioned whether team India is having problem with the restrictions or the pitch at Gabba, Brisbane. Michael Vaughan is trying to say that India must have had reservations for playing at Gabba because Australia hasn’t lost even a single test match there in the last 33 years. He tweeted, “COVID restrictions or the Pitch in Brisbane they are concerned about?”

This is not the first time that Indian Twitter users have trolled Michael Vaughan. Earlier he claimed that the Aussies would clean sweep the test series when they won the first test match of the series and the English cricketer was slammed heavily after India won the Boxing Day test match. Even more amazingly, Vaughan also took a U-turn and praised the Ajinkya Rahane led Indian team at that time.

India has made it clear that the Indian team won’t fly to Brisbane if the restriction rules are not eased over there because they are in no mood to undergo harder quarantine at the end of the tour. The Indian cricketers are living in the bio-bubble since the start of the IPL 2020 which was played in UAE. They have spent 14  days quarantine two times in the last 5 months, first in Dubai before the beginning of the IPL 2020 and then in Australia before the beginning of the series.

On the other hand, the situation of the coronavirus pandemic doesn’t seem to be good in Brisbane as a weekend lockdown has been announced after a cleaner of a hotel was found infected with the lethal virus. The authorities are quite concerned and worried as UK variant has also entered the city.

The Gabba test seems to be doubtful until and unless the restrictions are eased out or it is shifted to any other venue.

Recently, he worked in collaboration with Maharashtra cyber cell and helped the Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel in getting back her Instagram account, Twitter account and emails as they were hacked. He also stopped the hackers from hacking her emails further and for all the hard work that he did, Ameesha Patel is all praises for him.

Madhavan Gives A Mouth-Shutting Reply To Troll Who Calls Him Addicted To Substances

There have been many incidents in which Bollywood celebs have been dragged in unnecessary controversy by the social media trollers but in the end, it is always the troller who has to experience the face-palm moment because majority of our celebs are quite witty and know how to shut down haters in a kickass way.

Recently, the handsome hunk R. Madhavan was targeted unnecessarily by a Twitter user who claims to be a doctor. The social media user who used to be a fan of Madhavan at one point of time when he acted in the movie “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” tweets that Madhavan is into alcohol and substance abuse and has ruined his career because of these ill-habits.

The Twitter user wrote, “Maddy was once my hearthrob. But now it’s so disheartening to see Madhavan ruining his brilliant career, health & life behind alcohol and narco drugs. While he entered b-wood in RHTDM, he was fresh as a blossoming bud. Now look at him, his face & eyes. They speak it all..!”

As Madhavan saw this tweet, he couldn’t stop himself from responding and we must say that the actor gave a perfect reply as he wrote, “Oh  .. So that’s your diagnoses ? I am worried for YOUR patients. 😱😱😱😱. May be you need a Docs appointment.”

Although the troller deleted the tweet later on, netizens made it a point to troll the hater and asked Madhavan not to react to such people who just want momentary fame and make these kinds of remarks to seek attention.

“We Are Tired,” Doctor Writes Open Letter As Tamil Nadu Govt Allows 100% Occupancy In Theatres

The situation of the coronavirus pandemic may have improved a little in the country but there is no denying the fact that it is not under complete control and we just can’t afford to be careless. The nation has unlocked completely and the cinema halls are also allowed to open but with 50 percent occupancy of the total capacity only.

However recently, the Tamil Nadu government decided to allow 100 percent occupancy and this has certainly divided the Internet. While some are saying that it will further increase the cases, several others are of the opinion that it is a person’s choice to visit cinema halls so if you are very much concerned about your safety, don’t go as nobody is forcing you.

It is being said that this decision was made by the TN government only after a request in this regard was made to the CM by the actor Thalapathy Vijay whose movie “Master” is all set to release soon.

After this decision of the TN government, a person named Aravinth Srinivas who is a doctor by profession took to the social media site Facebook and wrote an open letter, addressing the Tamil Nadu government, actor Vijay and actor Silambarasan whose movie “Eeswaran” is also releasing soon.

The doctor writes that he is tired and like him, many other doctors, medical staff, policemen, sanitary workers and all those who are working on the ground level to control the pandemic are exhausted too. He says that the pandemic is not over yet and till today, people are losing their lives. He goes on to call this 100 percent occupancy decision as an attempt of taking own life.

Kangana Ranaut Opposes Idea Of Housewives Being Paid For Their Work, Shashi Tharoor Responds

The beautiful actress Kangana Ranaut is one of those Bollywood celebrities who don’t hesitate in expressing themselves and speak their heart out on every issue which matters to them. Some time ago, Kangana was involved in a Twitter banter with the Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh on the matter of farmers’ protest which is being done against the three new agricultural reform bills that have been passed by the Indian government.

This time she has responded to a tweet made by the Indian politician and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and amazingly, the politician has also agreed with her opinion to a great extent.

Recently, the southern superstar Kamal Haasan who is also trying his hands in politics proposed an idea as per which the housework that is done by the homemakers should also be recognised as salaried profession and the state government should pay them a monthly wage.

Shashi Tharoor has supported the idea as he feels that his movie will improve the position of women in the society and it will not only increase their power but will also provide them with autonomy.

Shashi Tharoor tweeted, “I welcome @ikamalhaasan’s idea of recognising housework as a salaried profession, w/the state govt paying a monthly wage to homemakers. This will recognise & monetise the services of women homemakers in society, enhance their power& autonomy & create near-universal basic income.”

Kangana soon responded to him and asked not to put a price tag on the love of a woman and stop seeing everything as business.

Her tweet read, “Don’t put a price tag on s*x we have with our love, don’t pay us for mothering our own, we don’t need salary for being the Queens of our own little kingdom our home, stop seeing everything as business. Surrender to your woman she needs all of you not just your love/respect/salary.”

Shashi Tharoor also replies back and says that he agrees with Kangana that many things which a homemaker does is beyond the price but this is all about providing them with a monthly income and recognising the value of their unpaid work. He writes to Kangana that he wants every woman of the country to be empowered as her.

Shashi Tharoor wrote, “I agree w/@KanganaTeam that there are so many things in a homemaker’s life that are beyond price. But this is not about those things: it’s about recognising the value of unpaid work & also ensuring a basic income to every woman. I’d like all Indian women to be as empowered as you!”

Shoaib Akhtar Slams PCB & Pak Players Over Defeat In NZ, “They Are Playing School-Level Cricket”

The Pakistani cricket team performed poorly in the second test match against the New Zealand team and it is now getting badly slammed by the Pakistani cricket fans and former cricketers.

In the second test match, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first, the Pakistani team managed to put only 297 runs on the score board. In response, the Kiwi team scored a huge total of 659/6 with the help of skipper Kane Williamson’s double century (238) and centuries of Henry Nicholls (157) and Daryl Mitchell (102). This big score also gave them a lead of 354 runs over Pakistan and at the end of day three, the Pakistani cricket team was at 8-1.

After such dismal performance, former Pak cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has slammed not only the Pakistani cricket team but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also for the poor presentation in a foreign tour. As per him, PCB is getting what they sowed; they brought average players in the team, made average efforts because of which they are getting average results. He goes on to say that the Pakistan team will get exposed each time they will play test matches. The Rawalpindi Express hits out at the Pakistani cricketers and says that they are playing school level cricket, adding that the management is nurturing them as school level cricketers.

Pakistan suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of New Zealand as they lost the second test match by an innings and 176 runs. The performance of the Pakistani batters was quite dismal in the second innings as the whole team bundled out for 186 runs and not even a single batsman was able to touch the fifty mark.

With this victory, New Zealand whitewashed the series by 2-0 and Kane Williamson also leveled the record of Brendon McCullum of hitting four double centuries. While Kane Williamson was adjudged as the Player of the Series, Kyle Jamieson was adjudged as the player of the match for super bowling performance in both the innings (5/69 & 6/48).

Baby Store Owner Supports ‘Lovely People’ Virat Kohli & Hardik, Heavily Slams Australian Media

The Australian media has come upon heavily on the five Indian cricketers – Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Navdeep Saini, Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill after a video went viral in which they were seen dining in an indoor restaurant in Melbourne. The Aussie media alleged that these five cricketers breached the bio-bubble protocol; the cricket boards also acted promptly and isolated the players. But the Australian media didn’t stop here, they also dragged the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and the Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya in the controversy by posting an old photo in which they both were seen in a store. The Aussie media alleged that they breached the bio-bubble protocol during the limited over series.

However, now the Australian media has been slammed by the owner of the baby shop which was visited by the Indian cricketers Virat and Hardik. The owner Nathan Pongrass has not only refuted all the claims which have been made by the Aussie media but also called the Indian cricketers lovely people.

While talking to Sports Today, Nathan Pongrass said that the Indian cricketers spent a little time at the baby store and at that time, there were not many restrictions in the New South Wales. Nathan said that they wanted to give gifts to both of them but the cricketers wished to pay for everything, adding that they spent some time with the staff over there as well and they were really lovely people.

Pongrass further added that everyone at the Baby Village is quite proud of the fact that they both chose to visit us and this is the reason behind uploading their photos on the social media platforms. As per him, they were also kind enough to allow our staff members to get clicked with them so that they can show it to their family members.

Nathan Pongrass cleared the air by stating that no masks were worn because at that time, there were not many cases in the New South Wales and out of 50, only one person was wearing mask. According to him, old people were wearing masks at that time and even pregnant ladies were not wearing masks and whatever media has written is really shameful.

Recently, the former Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha also slammed the Australian media and said that it is just a tactic to take the pressure off the Aussie team and pressurize the Indian squad because the Aussies are bad losers.
