Many of us like to eat out but due to the coronavirus pandemic, we all have preferred to stay indoors and eat home-made food. However, there are still times when we crave for tasty food that we get at restaurants.
What makes the matter worse are the marketing strategies used by some of the outlets which not only increase your desire to have food outside but also make you appreciate the sense of humour of the marketing team of eateries.
Recently, an outlet Shree Chaats Mithai and Namkeen which is based in Chennai came up with a cheeky one-liner which left its customers in splits. They have printed this one-liner on their bill and it reads, “Never hurt a Samosa or Kachori by saying NO… They too have fillings inside!!”
The food pun was loved by netizens when a Twitter user posted the photo of the bill:

While there were some who loved the food pun and promised that they would never hurt any samosa or kachori, few others questioned the high pricing of samosa chaat because one plate has been priced as Rs. 75 which is undoubtedly quite costly.

The tech giant Apple was slammed and trolled by many few months ago for excluding adaptor and earphones from their new models when Apple cited the reason of reducing the carbon footprints from its product which will be beneficial for the environment. Mobile companies such as Xiaomi and Samsung also made fun of Apple for their move but now these companies too are following the strategy of Apple.
Xiaomi won’t be providing adapter with their upcoming Mi 11 smartphones and the announcement in this regard was made by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lei Jun on the Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo. The reason that Xiaomi gave was the same as Apple which was helping in the protection of environment.
The Xiaomi CEO has also talked about some features of the upcoming Mi phones and said that the retail boxes of Mi smartphones will be thinner than the boxes of other smartphones which provide charger.
Earlier in October, Xiaomi trolled Apple by posting a video with the caption, “Don’t worry, we didn’t leave anything out of the box with the #Mi10TPro.”
This new development was enough for the creative online users to troll Xiaomi left and right. Here are some selected tweets that will make you go ROFL:

We can see that Xiaomi tries to follow Apple…All of them are sheep , they are really stupid instead of making difference from Apple! pic.twitter.com/7booR3UHqB
Apple removed charger from box.
Xiaomi removed charger from box.
Samsung is working to remove charger from the box.
Reason :- “To protect environment!”
It is also being said that soon Samsung will follow its arch-rival Apple and it is slowly deleting all the old posts in which it trolled Apple for not providing chargers. However as of now, nothing can be said with confirmation about Samsung’s future plans.
When Apple came up with this plan of excluding chargers, it stated that with this little change, it would be able to reduce 2 million metric tons of annual carbon emissions which is similar to getting rid of 450K cars from the road in a year. It also said that by excluding chargers, its boxes will get thinner and it could ship 70 percent more boxes in the same space in comparison to the last year’s shipment.
Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the most eligible bachelors of our country and many girls would like to tie the knot with him. The “Besharam” actor has allegedly been in a relationship with some actresses earlier too but now he has finally accepted that he would have got married this year if the coronavirus pandemic had not hit.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been in a relationship for quite a long time; however they chose to remain mum on this matter for quite a long time. Well, their fans will be pleased to know that the couple has now accepted to be in love with each other. For past some time, there were also rumours doing rounds that they are searching for their new house.
Recently in an interview, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed too that Alia is his girlfriend and he would have married her if this coronavirus pandemic situation would not have hit the world. He also adds that he doesn’t want to jinx it by talking about it but this is one goal that he wants to achieve soon in his life.
This acceptance of his relationship with Alia Bhatt gave enough reasons to memers who have come up with hilarious memes and showed their creativity considering the fact that Ranbir has been associated with few other girls in the past.
Here are some of the selected tweets that will leave you in splits:
Ranbir Kapoor who was living with Alia Bhatt in the lockdown period says that hopefully they both will get married in 2021. On the question of taking any online classes during this period, the “Barfi” actor says that his girlfriend can easily be called an over-achiever and she takes all the classes whether it’s learning how to play guitar or how to do screenwriting. In fact, he goes on to say that he feels like an underachiever in front of Alia but still he didn’t take any online classes as first, there was a crisis in his family and then he started reading and spending some time with his family members. He also tells that he used to watch 2-3 movies daily.
We wish both Ranbir and Alia a great and bright future together!
The year 2020 is about to end soon but it seems that the COVID-19 pandemic will trouble us for some more time in 2021 as the new strain of coronavirus has been found in England, South Africa and Nigeria. The good news for India is that no patient with new strain has been detected till now and the number of COVID-19 positive patients is also decreasing.

“Go Corona Go” is one of the most famous slogans used for motivating people to fight the lethal virus. If you remember, this slogan was given by BJP politician and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and in a video, he was seen chanting this slogan with Mr. Tang Guocai, Chinese Consul General in Mumbai and some Buddhist monks. This happened on February 20 in a prayer session which took place at Gateway of India. The slogan and the video went viral instantly; while some liked it, few slammed the approach of the government in dealing with such a serious situation. However, it can’t be denied that the slogan was quite useful in fighting COVID-19 as it filled people with enthusiasm.
Now, Ramdas Athawale has come up with a new slogan for the strain of COVID-19 and recently while interacting with mediapersons on Sunday, he gave the new slogan, “No Corona, Corona No”.

More than 1.76 million people have lost their lives worldwide to this disease and if we talk about only India, the number of lives lost is over 1.48 lakh. Though there has been some relief after hearing that several countries have started giving vaccines to their citizens, the news of people suffering from side-effects of vaccine has also scared people.
Hopefully in 2021, we will get rid of coronavirus and its strain and will lead a normal life like earlier. Let us just keep our fingers crossed for the best and meanwhile don’t forget to tell us your opinion in regard to the new slogan given by Ramdas Athawale.
The New Zealand cricket team is in a strong position against the Pakistani cricket team in the Boxing Day test match which is being played at the Bay Oval. In the first test match of the 2-match test series, first the Kiwi batters put up a great show and managed a big total of 431 on the score board and then the Kiwi bowlers literally fired bullets at the Pakistani batsmen and the whole Pak team crumbled at 239.
The Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson led from the front and scored a brilliant century (129) and he was well supported by Ross Taylor (70), Henry Nicholls (56) and BJ Watling (73). In response, only Mohammad Rizwan (71) and Faheem Ashraf (91) showed resilience against the New Zealand bowlers while other Pak batters gave away their wickets easily.
After the great performance of the New Zealand team, a Kiwi fan decided to troll the Pakistani team by reminding them the mistakes they made while they were bowling. He made four columns on white board – dropped catches, misfields, poor throws and poor use of DRS and wrote the number of times the Pakistani cricketers made these mistakes.
The photo of this cricket fan was shared by a Twitter user with the caption, “This man knows how to attend cricket matches. #NZvPAK”
It is absolutely clear that this is how everyone should watch the match, especially if you have taken time out for watching a match in the stadium.
As far as the match is concerned, 2 days are remaining and Pakistan is still trailing by 192 runs. There is no denying the fact that Kiwis have a great chance of winning the match but still nothing can’t be said as of now, especially because the Pakistani cricket team is always said to be unpredictable.
