New Zealand Fan Roasts Pakistan By Reminding Their Errors On Scoreboard In NZvsPAK, Twitter Reacts

The New Zealand cricket team is in a strong position against the Pakistani cricket team in the Boxing Day test match which is being played at the Bay Oval. In the first test match of the 2-match test series, first the Kiwi batters put up a great show and managed a big total of 431 on the score board and then the Kiwi bowlers literally fired bullets at the Pakistani batsmen and the whole Pak team crumbled at 239.

The Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson led from the front and scored a brilliant century (129) and he was well supported by Ross Taylor (70), Henry Nicholls (56) and BJ Watling (73). In response, only Mohammad Rizwan (71) and Faheem Ashraf (91) showed resilience against the New Zealand bowlers while other Pak batters gave away their wickets easily.

After the great performance of the New Zealand team, a Kiwi fan decided to troll the Pakistani team by reminding them the mistakes they made while they were bowling. He made four columns on white board – dropped catches, misfields, poor throws and poor use of DRS and wrote the number of times the Pakistani cricketers made these mistakes.

The photo of this cricket fan was shared by a Twitter user with the caption, “This man knows how to attend cricket matches. #NZvPAK”

Soon this image went viral and people started reacting to it. Here are some of the selected tweets:

It is absolutely clear that this is how everyone should watch the match, especially if you have taken time out for watching a match in the stadium.

As far as the match is concerned, 2 days are remaining and Pakistan is still trailing by 192 runs. There is no denying the fact that Kiwis have a great chance of winning the match but still nothing can’t be said as of now, especially because the Pakistani cricket team is always said to be unpredictable.

Rahane’s Heart-Winning Gesture To Ravindra Jadeja After Run-Out Earns Him Accolades On Twitter

Ajinkya Rahane, the Indian cricketer who is fulfilling the responsibility of the skipper in the absence of Virat Kohli has certainly led from the front in the Boxing Day test match against Australia which is being played at Melbourne Cricket Ground. In the first innings, the Indian team got all out on the score of 326 and Ajinkya Rahane played a beautiful innings of 112 runs which included 12 boundaries. Rahane along with Ravindra Jadeja added 121 runs in partnership before getting run out for the first time in his test career.

However, what Ajinkya Rahane did after getting run out was something that made every cricket fan respect and applause him more. When Ravindra Jadeja was just one run away from his half-century, he played a defensive shot on the balling of Nathan Lyon. Jadeja made a call for run which was fulfilled by Rahane and he didn’t seem to be in much trouble as his bat was on the crease when the ball hit the stump but unfortunately Rahane was given out even after taking DRS.

This certainly left Jadeja upset as it was he who made the call but before leaving the ground, Rahane went to him and tapped him, gestured him that the Indian innings is not over yet and he should play some good cricket before coming back to the pavilion.

Jadeja got out at 57 and soon the Indian team was back in pavilion with 326 on the board.

The cricket lovers were quite impressed with Ajinkya Rahane’s sportsmanship and praised him whole-heartedly on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Here are some of the selected reactions:

As of now, the Aussies have lost their 6 wickets at the score of 133 and have taken the lead of 2 runs. It would be interesting to see what target the Australian team will give to the Indians and how the Indian batsmen will perform in the second innings.

Well, India has an upper hand at the moment but do you think that they will be able to win this test match?

Sachin Tendulkar Demands ICC To Thoroughly Look Into Umpire’s Call In DRS In AUSvsIND Test

The second test match between India and Australia is at a very interesting stage as the Indian bowlers have once again made it difficult for the Aussie top order to stay on the crease and score runs. The former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is also keeping an eye on the test match and he doesn’t seem to be happy with the Decision Review System (DRS) as he has demanded the International Cricket Council (ICC) to look into it in a proper manner.

Sachin Tendulkar tweeted, “The reason players opt for a review is because they’re unhappy with the decision taken by the on-field umpire. The DRS system needs to be thoroughly looked into by the @ICC, especially for the ‘Umpires Call’. #AUSvIND”

Sachin Tendulkar made such a demand because a good number of DRS decisions went in favor of the Australian team on Day 3 of the test match despite the fact that there were three red balls and the ball also hit the stumps. The decision given by the on-field umpire was not out and because of the “Umpire’s Call”, India lost few chances of getting wickets.

Little Master appears to be displeased with the “Umpire’s Call” because of the fact that it is not understandable as to why a batsman is given out on some moments and why on the same moments, another batsman is given not-out.

During the first innings of India, the Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane was given run-out despite it being a very close call but on the other hand when the Aussie skipper Tim Paine was in the same situation, he was given the benefit of doubt and he survived.

As far as the test match is concerned, the Indian team got all out on the score of 326 in the first innings and took a lead of 131. In the second innings, the Aussies didn’t get a good start as Joe Burns was sent back early by Umesh Yadav when he was batting at 4. Matthew Wade and Marnus Labuschagne tried to stabilize the innings but after they both got out, the hosts lost wickets at quick intervals and at the end of Day 3, the Australian team was 133/6 with a lead of 2 runs.

What do you think of the “Umpire’s Call”? Do you agree with Sachin Tendulkar?

Sachin Tendulkar Analyzes In Detail All The Struggles Prithvi Shaw Is Facing In Australia

The Indian cricket team has made a strong comeback in the second test match against Australia which is being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Many cricket fans believed that it would be difficult for the Indian cricket team to deal with the Australian bowlers, especially because Virat Kohli is not a part of the squad but the Indian batsmen have risen to the challenge and shown that they are ready for tough tests.

Few changes were made in the Indian squad for the second test match including the opener Prithvi Shaw being replaced by Shubman Gill. The 21 years old Shaw is undoubtedly a talented batsman but for past some time, he has been out of form. He was not able to perform well in the IPL and in the first test match also, he performed miserably. In the first innings of the first test match, Prithvi Shaw got out on duck while in the second innings, he managed to score only 4 runs. The first test match was won by Australians by 8 wickets and what hurt the most was that the Indian team was all out for 36 runs in the second innings which is the lowest score of the Indian squad in test matches.

Prithvi Shaw got slammed heavily for his performance and even the former cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Shane Warne questioned his technique and expressed doubt over him surviving at the international level for a long time.

Now the legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his opinion over the problems faced by Prithvi Shaw while batting. While speaking in a video on his YouTube channel, Little Master states that in his opinion, Prithvi Shaw is having a problem with his backlift. He adds that his hands are going away and then he is coming down, this movement is going the scoop way rather than the pendulum which is straight. As per Sachin, the problem takes place when the ball zips through the surface.

Sachin Tendulkar goes on to say that it is not just about Prithvi Shaw but every batsman who is not in good touch and has that type of backlift. He further says that if a batsman is scooping but doesn’t get the timing right, he will certainly edge the ball; so if the timing is not right, the straight backlift will certainly help.

Sachin has also shed light on Shaw’s dismissal in the second innings of the first test match. He says that Prithvi’s footwork was not correct as he was caught on the move. According to Master Blaster, there were other batsmen as well who were caught in the same manner as they played late by a fraction. Sachin adds that this happens when a batter is thinking about a lot of things and the same happened with Prithvi as his foot was also in air when he got out. Sachin also states that if the batsman is not able to think properly, it will surely affect his footwork as lower body will not follow the instructions.

Great advice by the legend!

Good going boys!

2 Buffaloes Kidnapped In MP For A Ransom Of Rs 50,000. WTF Seriously?

The crime of kidnapping has been taking place for a long time now and it’s an easy option of earning huge money for the criminals as people don’t mind paying money for getting back their loved ones. Many times we have heard people getting kidnapped and the kidnappers ask for ransom but a weird incident has taken place in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh where two buffaloes were abducted and the kidnappers asked Rs. 50K as ransom for releasing them.

As per a police official, this incident took place around a week ago when Amarchand Patel who is a farmer by profession was taking his animals in a pick-up van. He was stopped by the main accused Deepchand and his accomplices near the Pawel village. Deepchand and his associates took away two buffaloes and after some time, they made a call to Amarchand and asked him to pay a ransom of Rs. 50,000 if he wants his buffaloes back.

After getting the call, Amarchand Patel filed a complaint against Deepchand and his associates in the Prabhat Pattan police outpost. The police started the probe after registering the case; they soon arrested Deepchand and also rescued one buffalo on the basis of the information received by him.

A police officer told that they took Deepchand in custody on December 23 and rescued one buffalo but there are five other people who need to be caught and one buffalo is with them. The police officer was quite hopeful of catching the other accused soon and also of recovering the second buffalo.

This is not the first time that ransom for an animal has been demanded. In September, citizens of a village from Lakhimpur Kheri district in Uttar Pradesh took a crocodile as hostage and demanded the authorities to pay Rs. 50K for releasing it.

The villagers were of the opinion that as they saved the crocodile from the flood and deserved to be paid a good amount. However, the authorities managed to get the crocodile released by threatening the villagers of a legal action against them.

Even animals are not safe now!
