Neena Gupta, the veteran actress, is undoubtedly one of the finest artists that we have seen on the television and big screen and it would not be wrong to say that she is one of those celebrities who love to live life on their own term and conditions. During an interview, the “Badhaai ho” actress opened up on the mistakes that she made in regard to dating and marriage in her life. She talked about a horrible incident in which she was told by her boyfriend that she is still on the shelf. Neena says that she won’t be able to forget it ever as it really hurts a lot.
She also talked about how a couple friend used to force her to marry guys whom she didn’t even like or love. She said that the couple friend was from Delhi and they were her neighbours in Mumbai. They used to tell her to marry a male friend of her just because he was a nice bachelor, rich and also owned a flat. When Neena told them that she did not love that guy or feel anything for him, they used to tell her to just marry him, adding that love would happen as this is our tradition and culture.
Neena Gupta who got married at the age of 48 says that marriage is all about companionship, support and to have someone to lean on. As per her, she got married late and after few years of marriage, she realized that her happiness is not dependant on her husband. She adds that a person has to do what he/she wants to and the good thing that her hubby is not stopping her from doing her work.
She says that whenever she is angry with her husband, she reminds herself that her husband is good in this regard and her anger disappears. She calls it sensible and practical and this is how a person can have healthy relationship. The “Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan” actress states that it depends on the person to make relationship work and should not give up on people as it is the easy option. She adds that she has made many mistakes in her life, some of them were really stupid and wisdom has come pretty late to her.

On the day of marriage, the bride whose name is Aarti met an accident as she fell from the terrace and her spine was injured. In normal circumstances, the marriage would have been called off and the groom and his family would have waited for the bride to recover completely. There is also a different side that they would have ensured the bride is physically 100 percent fit or they would have cancelled the marriage in case of her getting handicapped.
However here the groom whose name is Awdhesh has a heart of gold and he took the permission from the hospital authorities to get married to Aarti in presence of their families.
Dr. Sachin Singh who treated the bride told that Aarti has minor injury in her spine and as of now, she is not able to move her legs. He added that as Aarti was about to get married to Awdhesh, we allowed them to carry out the rituals in the hospital. The bride Aarti also talked to the news agency and told that in the beginning, she was doubtful but her husband convinced her and promised her that he would be with her even if she doesn’t recover.
Social media users are in awe of Awdhesh who is of the opinion that whatever happened was destiny. People also remembered the scene from Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao starrer “Vivah” in which Amrita’s character Poonam got burnt on the wedding day but Shahid’s character Prem still married her in the hospital.

The disappointing performance of the Indian cricket team in the first test match against Australia has left many Indian cricket lovers upset and annoyed and one of them is Rohan Gavaskar. The former Indian cricketer is a popular person, not because of his cricketing career but for being son of the legendary former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar.
The hosts won the first test match by 8 wickets and it was not the defeat of the Indian team which hurt the most but the fact that India touched the new lows as they got all out for 36 in their second innings. The Indian squad seemed to have an upper hand when the Indian bowlers bowled out the Aussies for 191 in the first innings and India was having a lead of 53 runs. Fans were hopeful that the Indian batsmen would put up a good show and give a decent, if not big, target to chase in the second innings but all the hopes went haywire when the Indian team bundled out for just 36 runs in the second innings.
Twitterati lost its nerves and went berserk, slamming the Indian team and targeting some players more, especially the skipper Virat Kohli and the head coach Ravi Shastri.
Rohan Gavaskar also took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to troll the Indian cricket team as he wrote, “Are we just witnessing the birth of a new format? First innings test match – second innings t-20. Best of both worlds.”
The tweet was not liked by an Indian cricket fan who got personal with Rohan as he asked the latter about his achievements. He also asked Rohan to make a comment that only after doing something in his life and went on to say that the former cricketer is still behaving like a kid.
Here is what the online user wrote, “Have u achieved anything in cricket buddy? Why u r commenting such with their level? First achieve something in life. U r just like a little kid still now.”
Rohan Gavaskar was certainly ready for giving back to this user and he replied with, “A) I’m not your buddy B) yes I have . C) stick to making your fantasy teams . D) move out of your parents house”
Rohan, who is a commentator now has played 11 international ODIs for the country in which he has scored total 151 runs with an average of around 18 runs which also includes a half-century.

The first cricket test match between India and Australia was expected to be a tough contest between the two best teams of the world but the manner in which the things took place on the third day, the Indian cricket lovers were left disappointed and very sad. The Indian team won the toss and decided to bat in a hope of putting up a big total on the scoreboard but their start was not good as both the openers returned early. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli stabilized the innings with Cheteshwar Pujara and then with Ajinkya Rahane after Pujara got out. While Pujara and Rahane were not able to touch the 50-mark, the Indian skipper missed his century after he got run out due to a misunderstanding between him and Rahane.
The Indian team managed only 244 in their first innings and when everyone was hoping that Australia would now score big and take a huge lead, the Indian bowlers put up a great performance and sent the whole Australian team back for just 191 which gave India a lead of 53 runs. This was the moment when everybody thought that India was in the driving seat now and even if they managed a decent total, they would be able to make it difficult for the Australians.
However, the Australian pacers saved their best ammunition for the last and the Aussie pace battery which comprised of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood literally fired at the Indian batsmen. Scoring runs is different altogether; the Indian batsmen had no clue as to how they could save their wickets and the Indian batting lineup which was being touted as one of the strongest in the world was back in the pavilion after scoring a total of 36 runs.
36 is the lowest by the Indian team in a test innings and with this, India became the second team whose 11 batsmen were not able to score in double digits. The Aussies got a target of 90 runs which they achieved after losing two wickets.
