Twitter Rips Apart Team India After It Got All Out For 36 Runs In 2nd Innings Against Australia

The first cricket test match between India and Australia was expected to be a tough contest between the two best teams of the world but the manner in which the things took place on the third day, the Indian cricket lovers were left disappointed and very sad. The Indian team won the toss and decided to bat in a hope of putting up a big total on the scoreboard but their start was not good as both the openers returned early. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli stabilized the innings with Cheteshwar Pujara and then with Ajinkya Rahane after Pujara got out. While Pujara and Rahane were not able to touch the 50-mark, the Indian skipper missed his century after he got run out due to a misunderstanding between him and Rahane.

The Indian team managed only 244 in their first innings and when everyone was hoping that Australia would now score big and take a huge lead, the Indian bowlers put up a great performance and sent the whole Australian team back for just 191 which gave India a lead of 53 runs. This was the moment when everybody thought that India was in the driving seat now and even if they managed a decent total, they would be able to make it difficult for the Australians.

However, the Australian pacers saved their best ammunition for the last and the Aussie pace battery which comprised of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood literally fired at the Indian batsmen. Scoring runs is different altogether; the Indian batsmen had no clue as to how they could save their wickets and the Indian batting lineup which was being touted as one of the strongest in the world was back in the pavilion after scoring a total of 36 runs.

36 is the lowest by the Indian team in a test innings and with this, India became the second team whose 11 batsmen were not able to score in double digits. The Aussies got a target of 90 runs which they achieved after losing two wickets.

The Indian cricket lovers were not only sad but very angry as well and some of them took to Twitter and slammed the Indian team for such a dismal performance. Even some cricketers like Sehwag and Wasim Jaffer also trolled team India and here are the tweets:

The remaining three matches will be tougher for India as Virat Kohli won’t be a part of the squad and most probably, David Warner will be back in the Aussie squad for the second test match.

Shane Warne Calls Red Ball Pathetic, Suggests Its Replacement With Pink Ball In Test Cricket

Shane Warne, the former Australian cricketer, is one of the biggest spinners of all times and presently he is doing commentary in the first test match which is being played between India and Australia. This test match that is being played at Adelaide Oval is a pink-ball day-night test match and the former Aussie cricketer is so impressed with the pink ball that he wants the red ball to be replaced permanently with the pink ball.

The pink ball is only used in the day-night test matches as of now but Shane Warne supports its use in all the test matches because it is more clearly visible to the audiences sitting in the stadium and it looks great on television as well.

The former skipper of the IPL team Rajasthan Royals feels that pink ball should be used for every test match whether it’s day test match or day-bight test match despite the fact that it gets soft after 60 overs. He suggests changing the pink ball after 60 overs but using it permanently as the red ball is just pathetic, it does nothing, it doesn’t swing and it also turns soft after 25 overs.

The former Aussie spinner adds that other than Dukes ball in England, all other red balls are just useless and the use of pink ball should be made permanent as it can’t be worse than red ball.

What is your opinion in this regard? Do you agree with Shane Warne?

Twitter Lit Up With Meme Fest After Ajinkya Rahane Got Virat Kohli Run Out In Ind Vs Aus Test

The first test match between India and Australia has reached a very interesting point and it is confirmed that it will not end in a draw. The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first but were not able to put up a big score as the whole team got out on 244. Everyone thought that Australia would be scoring a huge total in their first innings considering the fact that they have a good batting lineup and they also have a good advantage but Indian bowlers had something different in mind. The Aussies were dismissed for 191 in their first innings which gave India a lead of 53 runs.

However, an incident which happened during the first innings of the Indian innings has become the fodder for Twitterati and lot of memes and jokes related to it flooded on the micro-blogging site. Yes, that’s right! We are talking about the dismissal of Virat Kohli due to a wrong call by the vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane.

The Indians didn’t have a good start as both the openers returned early, then Indian skipper Virat Kohli stabilized the innings with Cheteshwar Pujara and later on with Ajinkya Rahane after Pujara got out for 43. In the 77th over, Ajinkya Rahane called Virat Kohli for a run but when the Indian skipper reached the middle of the pitch, Rahane asked him to go back which was not possible and Virat lost his wicket. The Indian skipper was looking in good touch, he was at 74 and every Indian cricket fan was hoping to see him scoring a century. What hurt more was that Rahane also got out soon at the score of 42.

These rib-tickling memes on the incident will make you go ROFL:

Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the team in the remaining three test matches as Virat Kohli will return to India because he wants to be with his wife while she gives birth to their first child.

As far as the first test match is concerned, Prithvi Shaw disappointed once again as he got out for four in the second innings and India was 9/1 at the end of the second day.

Looking forward to see the Indian team giving a big target to the Aussies!

Abhishek Bachchan Indulges In A Twitter Spat With Film Distributor Who Lauds Akshay Kumar

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan may not have been as successful as his father Amitabh Bachchan but he also has a good fan base and many people like him for the fact that he keeps himself cool and calm even when he is trolled on the social media networks. People often take a jibe at him for having no work, enjoying more followers than other celebs and other reasons but the decent manner in which he deals with such trollers has made him earn huge respect among netizens.

Well, the actor once again involved in a Twitter banter but this time, he was not responding to a troller but was expressing his opinion on an issue raised by the film distributor Akshaye Rathi.

Akshaye Rathi took to Twitter and praised Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar for his fast style of working and completing the shooting of a movie in less time in comparison to others. In fact, he goes on to say that Akshay completes the entire film’s shooting in the amount of time that other actors take just for learning a skill to use in a scene of some film. He further adds that Khiladi Kumar’s movies are usually more successful and other actors should learn to plan better.

Abhishek Bachchan saw the tweet and expressed his disagreement over Rathi’s opinion. As per Junior Bachchan, everybody is motivated by different things and everybody has his own pace of working. He tweeted, “Not fair! Each to their own. Different people are motivated by different things. And have a different pace at doing things.”

Akshaye Rathi responds quickly and tweets that what Abhishek has said is correct in normal circumstances but in critical situations as we are facing now, lot of work needs to be generated in order to give jobs and if not anything, at least hope.

In his response, Abhishek says that only good work generates more work, movies should not be made just for the sake of making because it will do more harm to the industry rather than help.

Akshaye Rathi replies that with no content, many cinema halls will get closed permanently and it will take years for reversing the effect.

Abhishek agrees to Rathi’s tweet but at one fell swoop, he also adds that in such times, people are already not going to cinema halls and bad movies will further discourage the few people who are visiting halls so they will also choose to wait and watch them on TV or OTT.

It was then that a Twitter user joined the banter and praised Akshay Kumar. He tells Abhishek that the actor is feeling bad because he is slow and should learn to work hard and fast.

Abhishek was ready with a reply for this Twitter user and told him that during the pandemic, he completed a web series, 3 movies and a documentary. He also makes it clear that neither speed nor intent is his problem.

While some online users take Abhishek’s tweet otherwise, he makes it clear that he himself lauds the ethic and professionalism of Akshay Kumar.

What is your opinion over this war of words? Do you agree with Abhishek Bachchan or think that Rathi is correct in his viewpoint?

David Warner Swaps His Face With Hrithik Roshan’s Face & Shares A Video, Yuvraj Singh Responds

The Indian and Australian cricket teams are clashing against each other in the first test match of the four-match test series but the Australian cricketer David Warner is busy making his fans smile. Warner is not playing the first test match due to a strained muscle, however he will be joining the team for the second test match.

David Warner is pretty active on social media and he loves to post his funny and dancing videos on different apps and video platforms. The face swap app is getting very popular among netizens and recently the Australian batsman also tried the app. Interestingly, he swapped his face with the face of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan from many scenes of his different movies.

Warner captioned the video, “Back by popular demand!! No chance of this one” with laughing emojis.

The former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh who is all set to make a comeback in the domestic cricket made a funny comment on Warner’s post as he wrote, “David Roshan” with a laughing emoji.

Yuvraj Singh took retirement from all forms of cricket last year but changed his mind and decided to make a comeback in the domestic cricket for his home state after he was approached by Puneet Bali, the secretary of Punjab Cricket Association. What’s more, Yuvi’s name has already been included in the list of 30-probable players for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament.

As far as the first test match is concerned, the Australian innings was opened by Matthew Wade and Joe Burns and till the time this article was written, Australia was at 83/5 in reply to India’s 244 in the first innings.

While David Warner will join the Australian squad for second test match, the Indian team will be playing the remaining three test matches without its skipper Virat Kohli who has been granted the paternity leave by the BCCI.

Have you tried the face swap app? How was the result?
