Nushrat Bharucha must be pretty happy nowadays as her performance in the last movie “Chhalaang” is being appreciated by the audiences and she has been giving back to back hits for some time. The actress made her debut with Jai Santoshi Maa in 2006 and since then, she has worked in some hit movies such as “Pyaar Ka Punchnama”, “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety”, “Dream Girl”, etc.
Recently while giving an interview, Nushrat opened up on various issues related to Bollywood. She says that she feels the industry is still not ready to cast new actors for different roles as the mentality of “poster par kya acha lagega (what will look good on the poster)” is still very strong. She is of the opinion that the industry doesn’t trust the actors as much it should and cast them for different roles. She further adds that the moviemakers like to cast the same people for the same type of role and not for different roles as they think that they haven’t seen this actor playing such a different role.
Nushrat Bharucha goes on to say that every actor is talented and wants to do new roles which brings a refreshing change in the career but that is not happening as we are trapped inside the attitude of what will look good on poster and that, as per her, should change.
She talks about her career as well and says that the people from the industry want to see her in similar romantic comedies as she has worked in some as they have performed well on the box-office but now she wants to do something new. She further asks why the moviemakers don’t believe that she can be successful in different roles as well. Nushrat Bharucha says that she is offered romantic comedies but the truth is that people didn’t want to cast her in romantic comedies before some of her romantic comedies did well on box-office.
The actress feels that the digital platforms will bring a big change and that will be for better. She thinks that it will change the way the Indian audiences view the movies as now they will like the flick for the content and not for the fact that it has earned so much on the box-office so it must be a good film. She says that she is happy now they have stronger fan base which will follow them for their art and sensibilities.

The crimes against women are taking place not just in India but in other countries of the world as well despite the fact that the governments are coming up with stricter laws for protecting the women. Putting all the responsibility on the government for providing security to the women is not a solution of the problem. A minor girl has shown the way to many girls who get molested and harassed by the strangers while going to schools, colleges or when in malls, public places or crowded places but they choose to remain mum as they don’t want to create any scene due to the fear of society.
An auto-rickshaw driver whose name is Kapil Kumar Gupta has been sent to prison for 3 years as well as fined Rs. 10K by the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) court as he was found guilty of molesting two minor girls. The incident dates to July 2015 when two sisters boarded an auto-rickshaw at 6:45 am for going to their school.
The elder sister who was 15 yrs old at that time told the court that the driver touched her in an inappropriate manner and when she objected, he gave the excuse that it was done by mistake as he was adjusting the meter and the curtains. However, when he repeated the disgusting act with the younger one, the elder sister hit the driver with her umbrella. On reaching the school, the elder sister paid the fare and also noted down the number of the auto-rickshaw after which she informed her teacher about the incident.

The father of the two girls supported them and a complaint was filed against the auto-driver. While giving its decision, the court also says that such incidents have adverse impact on the minds of the kids and instill fear in them, so these kinds of incidents should be dealt harshly and the culprits should be given severe punishment. The court also adds that the victims should also be compensated for the mental trauma that they underwent because of the degrading acts of the culprit.

Virat’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is at the 24th spot in the list while the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is at the 17th spot.
Virat and Anushka are expecting their first baby in January next year and they both recently celebrated their third marriage anniversary. Kohli is presently in Australia where he has led the team in the 3-match ODI series and 3-match T20I series. While Australia won the ODI series by 2-1, India made a strong comeback and won the T20I series by 2-1. The Indian team will also play 4-match test series over there starting Dec 17 but Virat Kohli will play the first test match only as he wants to be with his wife during the birth of their baby.
Recently during an interview, Anushka revealed that in the first six months of their marriage, they were together only for 21 days. She further says that whenever she visits Virat or vice-versa, it is not that they are having holidays because one of them is always working. The “Sui Dhaaga” actress also adds that having a meal together is not easy for them given that they are both are very busy so even one meal together is very precious time for them.

The 4-match test series between India and Australia will start on December 17 and both the teams are preparing themselves for the longer format by playing practice matches. In the second three-day practice test match which started on Dec 11, the Indian top order batting line-up was not able to make any impact as India chose to bat first after winning the toss.
In the first innings, Mayank Agarwal got dismissed early while Prithvi Shaw (40) and Shubman Gill (43) got a good start but failed to capitalize on it. However in the second innings, Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill made a comeback and played brilliant knocks of 61 and 65, respectively but Prithvi Shaw was dismissed at 3.
The former Australian spinner Brad Hogg was ready with a piece of advice for the Indian top order batsmen after seeing how they lost their wickets. In his tweet, he advised the Indian top order batsmen that they should be aware of where their off-stump is, should not go after the ball which is moving away from off-stump and should also learn to leave the delivery which is of good length.
Here is what Brad Hogg tweeted, “Indian top order need to know where their off stump is, learn to leave the ball off a good length, and not chase the ball moving away outside off stump.”
This piece of advice did not go well with the former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer who is also the batting coach of the IPL team Kings XI Punjab.
Wasim who is known for taking jibe using memes chooses to remind the Aussies that they need to decide as to who will open the innings for them. He tweeted, “Australia need to know who their top order is”.
Australian cricketer David Warner and Will Pucovski were supposed to open for Australia in the first test match but now they both have been ruled out of the test match because Warner has suffered groin injury during a match of the shorter format while Pucovski had a concussion while he was playing against India A in the first practice game.

Ranveer Singh is undoubtedly one of the most loved and most energetic actors of Bollywood and his fans will be pleased to know that he recently completed 10 years in the industry. The “Padmaavat” star opened up on his struggles while giving an interview to a leading daily.
Ranveer told that he struggled a lot because when he was trying his luck in Bollywood, not much movies were being made as there was recession in market. He added that the opportunities were very less at that time as there were no digital platforms. For almost 3.5 years, he was visiting offices with his portfolio in hope of getting one break and getting a chance to play the lead seemed quite impossible at that time but he still tried for it.
Ranveer went on to tell that the blessings and love of his parents kept him motivated, he was 21 when he started looking for work and at the age of 24, he got lucky. He told that he did some small budget movies with which Anurag and Nikkhil Advani were associated and today not just he but they both are also surprised with the amount of success that the “Lootera” star has achieved.
Ranveer Singh further told that though he worked as assistant director, he used to do small jobs and he never got the chance to being close to the actors so when he started acting, he had no clue of how to perform in a professional manner. As per him, he has learnt something from every director whom he has worked with and every day can be termed as a new learning experience for him.
He also states that there is a lot of difference in his first performance that he gave in “Band Baaja Baaraat” (2010) and in his recent performance in “Jayeshbhai Jordar”. According to him, he felt that in JBJ, he saw a professional and a mature performer while in his first movie, he had no idea of the process and was completely raw.
Ranveer Singh goes on to say that not even in his wildest imagination he had thought that he will achieve so much of success and it feels absolutely unreal to him.
Ranveer Singh’s “83” was all set to hit the theatres but it got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. In this movie, he has played the character of former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev and it is based on India’s win of 1983 Cricket World Cup. Ranveer will also be seen doing a cameo in Akshay Kumar starrer “Sooryavanshi” which is directed by Rohit Shetty.

There is nothing wrong in carrying out experiments while cooking food dishes because only then we may come up with some new recipes or enhance the taste of old dishes but there has to be some logic and sense while experimenting. However, there are some people who are making such weird dishes which are even difficult to imagine, for example, orange maggi, chocolate maggi, maggi biryani, ferrero rocher manchurian, sweet maggi with milk, ice cream dosa and so on.
When we thought that such mindless experimentation with our favorite food dishes is coming to an end with the end of 2020, one person destroyed the taste of our loving sweet jalebi. The person added soya sauce, bell peppers and garlic to jalebi and named it as chilli jalebi.

Quite obviously, Twitterati lost its cool as soon as this photo was posted on the Internet and netizens started slamming the person who did this to their favourite jalebi. The Indian Premier League is undoubtedly one of the biggest cricketing events of the world and every cricketing nation will like to have such a tournament as it not only helps in earning revenue but also assists the young cricketers of the country to get international exposure as they play with cricketers from other nations.
Now Sri Lanka has also come up with its T20 Premier League which has been named as Lanka Premier League (LPL). This is the first edition of the league and total 5 teams are participating in the tournament. Dale Steyn, the South African pacer who is considered as one of the greatest pacers of the present times is also taking part in the LPL and he is playing for Kandy Tuskers.
Dale Steyn played his first match against Jaffna Stallions in which he took 2 wickets and gave 33 runs in his four overs. After taking wickets, Dale Steyn celebrated in fishing style which went viral on the Internet.

In the 19th match of the tournament, Kandy Tuskers were up against Galle Gladiators and an interesting conversation took place between Dale Steyn and Azam Khan. When Dale went to bat, Azam who was behind the wickets thought to have some fun and he told Dale that he is a fisherman too to which Dale reacted in a funny manner. The banter didn’t continue for longer as Dale got out at the score of 1 after facing 5 deliveries.
