There is no denying the fact that the year 2020 has been a little harsh on Bollywood but it is completely true that still many Indians got inspired and influenced by the B-Town celebs. It is also impossible to ignore the fact that some of the Bollywood celebs are involved actively in the social causes and some huge donations have been made by few actors during the coronavirus pandemic. The Forbes Magazine has released the list of the Asia-Pacific’s most influential celebrities on social media and many Bollywood celebs have secured place in this list.

Considering the fact that almost the whole year was marred by the COVID-19 pandemic and people stayed in their houses for the majority part of 2020, this list is unranked and takes into account the initiatives carried out by the celebrities on social media as the events and activities which were supposed to be carried out in person got cancelled. Forbes focuses on the celebs who kept in touch with their fans, made them aware about the coronavirus and safety measures, spread positivity and contributed in the COVID-19 relief.

While the legendary Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan was included in the list for raising $7 milllion for the COVID-19 relief fund, the Khiladi of Bollywood aka Akshay Kumar has been termed as the highest paid actor of B-Town and he has also been credited for donating $4 million in the COVID-19 relief fund. The superstar Shah Rukh Khan has also been included in the list as he was honoured by the World Economic Forum (WEF) for working for the rights of women and children.

Ranveer Singh has found a place too because of his movie “Padmaavat” which is the 10th highest grossing film of Bollywood till date. Alia Bhatt has been regarded as one of the highest paid actresses of the industry and she was also called a part of the Bollywood family dynasty.

The veteran actress Madhuri Dixit has got a place in this list because of the online dance classes that she carried out in the month of April and helped her fans in learning some cool dance moves. Actress Anushka Sharma who is presently pregnant has been included in the list as she is pretty active for women’s causes and environmental cause as well. Shahid Kapoor has been praised for his performance in the superhit movie “Kabir Singh” which is the second highest grossing flick of 2019.

Not just the actors but the singers have also been included in this list such as Neha Kakkar and Shreya Ghoshal. Neha recently got married to Punjabi singer Rohanpreet Singh and the couple also made news for their age difference.

Camera Captures Kid Crying Amid Cheerful Crowd During Ind Vs Aus, Twitter Reacts Hilariously

Every ardent cricket fan hopes to watch at least one cricket match in stadium in his life despite the fact that watching a match on television with friends or family at home or club is quite entertaining. While watching on television, a person also gets to hear the former cricketers while they do commentary and can also see the replays of the shots played or dismissals done in the match. However, watching a match in the stadium has its own benefits as though there a person is not able to see the game properly, he can actually feel the energy and enthusiasm of the people around him and also have a chance to see the cricketers from nearby.

“I Have Lost A Job & Not Been Cast In A Part Because I Look Too Good,” Says Dia Mirza

Bollywood actress Dia Mirza is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful actresses who have ever worked in the film industry but you will be shocked to know that sometimes good looks can be a problem as well. Dia was just 18 years old when she won the Miss Asia Pacific International and made the country proud but making a career in movies was not easy for her and she faced many rejections.

While giving an interview to a leading daily, the 38-yr actress reveals that her beautiful looks has resulted in her not getting the work and getting rejected because she looked too good. According to her, people should not make presumptions because the way she looks has been a strange disadvantage for her. The actress who debuted in 2001 says that she may have been sounding ungrateful but it is true that her skin color has worked against her quite a few times. Dia further adds that she is also aware of the struggles that the dark colour women face but there are some stereotypes related to thinking cinema, the type of cinema which she loves. The “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” star goes on to say that the good part is that things are improving because of which she has nothing to complain about.

The actress turned environmentalist also talks about the beauty pageant that she won and says that the title has given a platform to speak. It has given her opportunities and also made her financially strong. She also adds that when she was 18, she had a lot to discover about herself and still, she has a lot to find out about herself.

Dia Mirza also opens up about the struggles that she faced while participating in the beauty pageant because she was brought up in an environment which was non-competitive. She told that her mother guided her during the contest and told her that she should not compete against anyone but all her efforts should focus on herself only. Her mother gave her the confidence to succeed and told her to enjoy and learn.

When Dia was asked that whether she would have got a chance to work in movies if she had not won the beauty title, she said that she had no idea about it but she was in love with movies always. She told that she used to take part in dramatics from her school days and not just her mother but her grandmother (naani) was a fan of flicks. As per Dia, her creativity and love for movies would have made her find a way to work in films even if she had not won the title.

Stuart Broad’s Tweet For Anderson Post Virat’s Dropped Catch In Ind-Aus 2nd T20I Has Gone Viral

There is no denying the fact that the excitement is at the highest level whenever the Indian and Australian cricket teams face each other on the ground and something of the same sort happened during the 3-match ODI series and just concluded 3-match T20I series. While the Australians won the ODI series by 2-1, the visitors made a comeback in the T20I series and won it by 2-1.

Team India sealed the T20I series by winning the second T20I in which Hardik Pandya played a brilliant innings well supported by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan. In the bowling sector, T. Natarajan was superb but what was talked about the most was the dropped catch of Matthew Wade which was dropped by Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper is one of the best fielders of the world but in the last couple of matches, he has dropped some very easy catches.

Matthew Wade was leading his team in the second T20I as the Australian skipper Aaron Finch was declared unfit for the match. When the wicketkeeper-batsman came to bat, he looked in a great touch and soon he scored 58 runs for which he played just 32 balls. The Indians were desperate to get his wicket because he would have ensured his team’s victory if he had carried for some time.

Soon, the Indian spinner Washington Sundar gave a good chance to the Indian team when his delivery took a leading edge from Matthew Wade’s bat and went towards Virat Kohli. It was quite an easy catch and everyone would have expected that he would easily take that catch but the Indian skipper dropped it. However, Virat rectified his mistake by quickly throwing the ball towards the wicketkeeper KL Rahul who made no mistake in removing the bails quickly resulting in Wade getting out. There was no coordination among the Aussie batsmen Matthew Wade and Steve Smith because of which this goof-up took place.

This incident was noticed by the England pacer Stuart Broad and he shared the video while tagging his teammate James Anderson with caption, “Remind you of anything @Jimmy9?”

Stuart Broad was talking about a similar incident which happened during the England team’s tour to Pakistan early this year. In that match, James Anderson was pretty close to completing his 600 wickets when Stuart Broad dropped an easy catch on Anderson’s bowling. However, Broad also ensured that his team got a wicket by getting the batsman out by directly hitting the wicket.

Soon, India and Australia will face each other in the four match test series in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is all set for the release of his upcoming movie “Coolie No.1” which is an adaptation of 1995 released Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer flick of the same name. Both the films are directed by David Dhawan, the father of Varun.

The “Dilwale” actor is not much active on the social media networks and he even doesn’t take trollers seriously but this time, Varun decided to give a befitting reply to a troller who tried to mock him over his disease. There is a bad news for all the fans of the actor as he has tested positive for COVID-19. However, an online user makes fun of him and asks whether he has really got infected or is just doing overacting.

Varun responds in a perfect manner by telling the troller that he is very funny and has a great sense of humour, adding that he really hopes he and his family don’t go through what COVID-19 infected people undergo but the family members of the troller will certainly go through his sad excuse of humour. In the end, Varun wishes the troller to get well soon.

Varun made a new post with new photo after deleting the old post with the similar caption. In his new post, Varun is seen sporting a beard which may be required for his movie “Jug Jugg Jeeyo” for which he was shooting in Chandigarh. In the caption, he wrote about contracting the lethal virus despite the fact that the production carried out all the safety protocols. He asked everyone to be cautious and also thanked for the get well soon wishes.

Mumbai Corporator Attracts People With Unique Idea, “Donate Blood & Get 1KG Paneer Or Chicken”

Blood donation is undoubtedly one of the noblest acts that human beings can indulge in but still majority of us refrain due to our ignorance or some other reasons. Many people think that they will fall ill after donating blood but the truth is that donating blood doesn’t have any bad effect on our health. In fact, donating blood is good for the health of liver and it also reduces the risk of heart attack as well as chances of developing cancer.

Samadhan Sarvankar, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) corporator from Prabhadevi area of Mumbai, has come up with a great idea for encouraging blood donation. Samadhan Sarvankar who is from Shiv Sena is organizing a blood donation camp on the thirteenth of this month at the Rajabhau Salvi Ground in New Prabhadevi. This blood donation drive is being held in partnership with KEM Hospital which is located in Lower Parel.

Now let us tell you about the unique idea that Samadhan Sarvankar is using for attracting the donors. Every donor will get either one kilo chicken or one kilo paneer depending on their choice and eating habits.

The target is of collecting 1,000 units of blood and the people who are interesting in donating blood need to register before December 11 at the Shiv Sena Shakha 194 which is close to Saamana Press.

Virat Kohli’s Tweet On Anushka Sharma’s Pregnancy Is Most Liked Tweet Of 2020, Declares Twitter

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma make one of the most adorable couples of India and both of them enjoy a huge following on the social media networks. They are lovingly referred to as Virushka by fans and the duo also keeps on sharing updates about their personal and professional lives on a regular basis. Some months ago, Virat Kohli and Anushka took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and announced that they will be parents soon.

Now Twitter India has released a list in which it has talked about the most liked tweets, most retweeted tweets and most quoted tweets.
