The Australian cricket team may have sealed the 3-match ODI series against India by 2-1 but India made a comeback with a bang by winning the first two T20Is and by taking an invincible lead of 2-0 in the 3-match series. In the second T20I, Australia played without the skipper Aaron Finch as he was not fit for playing while David Warner also missed the game due to his groin injury. The Aussies are also playing without Pat Cummins, the vice-captain of the Australian team, in shorter format as he has been rested. In place of Pat Cummins, the wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Wade has been appointed as the vice-captain of Australia for the T20I series against India.
While everyone expected Steve Smith to lead the team in the second T20I in absence of Aaron Finch, people got a little surprised when they saw Matthew Wade coming out as skipper for the toss. There is no denying the fact that Steve Smith is one of the most capable leaders that the Aussies can have so many cricket fans raised questions as to why management is not handling the leadership matter in a proper manner.
Now the head coach of the Australian team, Justin Langer opened up on this issue while talking to a sports channel. Justin says that though Steve Smith has done a great job in the past, there is a process which has to be completed before giving the responsibility of leading the team to Steve Smith. Justin Langer further adds that Steve has been showing leadership qualities even when he doesn’t have the title.
If you remember, Steve Smith and David Warner were banned for one year after they were found to be involved in the ball tampering scandal in 2018 in South Africa. Steve Smith was also banned from captaincy for 2 years, that period ended in March this year. Along with David and Steve, Cameron Bancroft was also banned from cricket after he was found guilty in the scandal but his ban was for nine months.
Steve Smith led Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2020 but he failed to make any impact as his team was at the bottom in the points table and his performance with bat was also disappointing.

The Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh came heavily upon Kangana Ranaut and also posted a video of the Sikh woman Mahinder Kaur. The Twitter banter turned ugly when Kangana called Diljit a pet of Karan Johar and claimed that she is fully aware how KJo gives work to people. Diljit also responded and trolled Kangana by saying that she knows how to play with the emotions of people by spreading lies but Punjabis will give it back to her strongly. He also called Kangana an ill-mannered person who doesn’t even know how to talk about women despite being a woman herself.

The coronavirus pandemic has adversely affected our lifestyle, eating habits, the manner of celebrating festivals and also the weddings. While wearing mask, maintaining social distancing, using sanitizers and washing hands regularly have become a part of our daily routine, organizing marriages or functions have become very difficult as the government has made it mandatory to follow the COVID-19 safety protocols. Not just this, the govt. has also imposed a limit on the number of guests who can remain present during the function.
However, we Indians know how to celebrate and make moments special even in the times of crisis. Something of this sort happened in the Kelwara Covid Center which is in Bara, Rajasthan. The plans of a couple getting married got destroyed when the bride tested positive for COVID-19 on the day of wedding and she was admitted to the Covid Center. But this didn’t stop the couple from getting hitched and on Sunday, they tied the knot in the premises of the Kelwara Covid Center. Quite interestingly, the bride and the groom were dressed in PPE (personal protection equipment) and they were also wearing gloves and face shields. The groom also wore the turban and other than the priest, only one person was seen in the mandap.

It can be ascertained that all the safety protocols were followed in the wedding and the netizens were quite happy after seeing that the couple defeated COVID-19 for their wedding. Ankita Lokhande, the beautiful actress, used the opportunity of performing in the Zee Rishtey Awards 2020 for paying a tribute to her former lover and co-actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The “Kedarnath” actor was found hanging in his Bandra apartment in the month of July and since then, a lot has happened in his case. It was said that Sushant suffered from depression and he was also undergoing treatment for the same. Moreover, many stories were heard regarding Sushant getting mistreated by the Bollywood biggies.
Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput worked together in Zee TV’s serial Pavitra Rishta which was loved by the audiences. While working in this serial, they both fell in love and undoubtedly the couple looked perfect for each other. Sushant left the serial for making his career in movies while Ankita kept on working in the show. When everybody thought that Ankita and Sushant would get married soon, they got separated which was quite a big shock for their fans. However, Ankita always stood with solidarity with Sushant’s family after his departure, though she was targeted by the supporters and friends of Rhea Chakraborty for demanding justice for SSR.
In the Zee Rishtey Awards, Ankita was seen once again playing the character of Archana from Pavitra Rishta and she beautifully danced on the tunes of “Saathiya Tune Kya Kiya”. The short clip of this performance has been shared by Ankita’s designer, Anuradha Khurana on her Instagram story.
Earlier before giving a beautiful performance, Ankita gave a special message for the fans of Sushant Singh Rajput while walking on the Red Carpet. She said,

The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) is investigating the case of Sushant as many of his fans alleged that he didn’t commit suicide, either his life was taken or he was forced to give up his life.

However, the Indian cricket fans are quite worried about the 4-match test series as the Indian skipper Virat Kohli will be playing the first test match only after which he will return to India. Virat has been granted paternity leave by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as the Indian skipper wants to be with his wife Anushka Sharma when she gives birth to their first baby.
What makes it more problematic for the Indian squad is the fact that the star batsman Rohit Sharma is also not a part of the team as he suffered hamstring injury during the IPL 2020. Hitman is presently in National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru, and undergoing rehabilitation. However, it is confirmed that Rohit Sharma won’t be playing the first two matches and the decision of him playing the remaining two test matches will be taken only after assessing his fitness in mid-December.
Various cricket experts have given their opinion in regard to which batsmen should play in place of Virat Kohli and recently, the former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra also talked on this matter. While speaking in his YouTube video, Aakash says that KL Rahul and Shubman Gill can be suitable alternatives of Virat Kohli. However, he also says that there is a slight catch as to who will open the innings for India, whether it will be Prithvi Shaw or KL Rahul with the opener Mayank Agarwal.
As per Aakash Chopra, KL Rahul can easily replace Prithvi Shaw if he fails to perform and open the innings. He further says that if he has to choose someone to play in the middle order, his pick will be Shubman Gill and not KL Rahul.
However, Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill both are part of the India A squad for the first practice test match which is being played at the Drummoyne Oval, Sydney, against Australia A. While the India A is being led by Ajinkya Rahane, the Australia A is headed by Travis Head. Both the cricketers Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw were sent for opening the innings but both of them failed in making any impact as they got out for duck.

Saif Ali Khan, the Nawab of Bollywood, has been in news for all the wrong reasons in the recent past and he once again invited the wrath of netizens when he said that in his upcoming movie “Adipurush”, the abduction of Sita will be justified.
“Adipurush” is an upcoming movie which will be based on the Hindu epic Ramayan. The film will be directed by Om Raut and the lead role of Lord Ram will be played by Prabhas. Saif Ali Khan has been signed for the role of Raavan and recently while talking about the flick, he said that in “Adipurush”, the humane side of Raavan will be shown and the movie will also justify the kidnapping of Sita as well as his war against Ram for taking the revenge for what Ram’s brother Lakshman did to Raavan’s sister Shurpanakha.
There are already many people who are against Saif playing the character of Raavan in the film and with this statement, he increased his problems manifold because there is no logic by which the abduction of a woman can be held correct.
