Ravindra Jadeja Shared A Cryptic Post After Sanjay Manjrekar’s Unpleasant Comment On Him

Sanjay Manjrekar, the former Indian cricketer who has now turned commentator, is known for attracting controversies with his statements and most of the times, he also has to bear the wrath of netizens for such statements.

If you remember, last year during the 2019 ICC World Cup, Sanjay Manjrekar expressed his opinion about the Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and called him a “bits and pieces” cricketer. This did not go well with Jadeja and he advised the former cricketer to stop his verbal diarrhea. Not only this, Manjrekar was also trolled left and right by the online users for his comments.

Sanjay Manjrekar is in news once again and this time he has again pointed fingers at Ravindra Singh Jadeja; however, he has made it clear that he has no problem with Jadeja. The Indian cricket team is presently on the tour to Australia where they have already lost the 3-match ODI series after getting defeated in the first two ODIs. It won’t be wrong to say that Australia crushed the Indian team in both the matches. In the first match, Aussies scored 374 runs and won by 66 runs while in the second match, the Australians gave the target of 390 to India and won the match by 51 runs.

After the defeat of India in the first ODI, Manjrekar has given an interview to a leading daily and said that he has no personal problem with Jadeja but he feels that players of such kind don’t deserve to be a part of the playing squad. He also adds that his thoughts and selection have been formulated on the basis of the principle that he has learnt with his experience and he is of the opinion that only those players should be part of the team who are specialists in one discipline.

Sanjay Manjrekar further states that he won’t even include Hardik Pandya in the playing eleven because the value added to the team by such players is an illusion. However, he also mentions that he views Jadeja in high regard when it comes to test cricket.

Though last time Jadeja gave a reply to Manjrekar, this time he decided not to get involved in the banter. Nevertheless, he posted a cryptic message, “Stay Calm #positivemindset” with his photo on his official Twitter handle.

Check out his tweet:

Surprisingly in the third ODI, India gave a target of 303 to the Aussies and Jadeja and Hardik played superb innings of 92 and 66, respectively. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli also played a good innings of 63 runs and till the time this article was written, the hosts were 71/2 in the 15th over.

What do you feel about the statement given by Manjrekar about Jadeja and Pandya? Let us know your opinion.

“Nepotism Is Opportunity But You’re Made A Star By Audience,” Vikram Bhatt Speaks On Nepotism

Nepotism is one of the most talked about topics in the recent past, especially in reference to Bollywood. The debate on nepotism increased after the sudden departure of actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found hanging in his Bandra residence. It was found that Sushant was suffering from depression and he was undergoing treatment as well. Sushant’s fans presumed that he was depressed because he was not getting work and recognition which he deserved due to nepotism which is prevalent in the Hindi film industry.

Recently, the moviemaker Vikram Bhatt was giving an interview to Times Now Digital and during the interaction when he was asked to comment on the topic of nepotism, he got pretty annoyed and said that he is really sick and tired of this discussion. Vikram Bhatt feels that nepotism is not even an issue and says that not all those who are from the filmy background are successful while there are many who have come from outside and achieved success. As per him, if there are examples of nepotism getting success, many examples can be seen of nepotism failing as well.

In Vikram Bhatt’s opinion, it is the audience that decides whom to make a star and if a person is talented, sooner or later he will achieve success, nepotism may help in getting an opportunity but it can’t make a person star.

Vikram further strengthens his point by mentioning that no power in this world including money, influence or even huge amount of gold of a person’s father can make him star, it is the audience that is the ultimate authority.

He again lays emphasis on the point that a talented person will definitely get a chance and all that he deserves, even if it may get delayed; nevertheless, people should stop blaming nepotism if someone doesn’t achieve success.

What is your take in this regard? Do you agree with Vikram Bhatt over nepotism?

Aakash Chopra Praises Rohit Sharma, Says India Needs Him To Score More Than 350

The Indian cricket team is certainly missing its star batsman Rohit Sharma big time as it has already lost the first two matches of the 3-match ODI series against Australia and the hosts have taken the invincible lead of 2-0. In both the matches, Aussies batted first and managed to put up huge targets of 374/6 and 389/4 in the first and second ODIs, respectively. The Indian team tried to give good fight but in the end, it was Aussies who emerged as the winner and defeated India by 66 runs in the first ODI and by 51 runs in the second ODI.

Rohit Sharma who is also referred to as Hitman by his fans is known for his hard-hitting batting style and for making big scores. He is not a part of the Indian squad which is presently in Australia as he suffered hamstring injury during one of the matches in the recently concluded IPL 2020 and as of now, he is in National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru, for rehabilitation. It is certainly clear that Rohit Sharma won’t be joining the Indian squad for the shorter format games and the first two test matches. Moreover, whether he will play the last two test matches in Australia or not will be decided only after assessing his fitness levels on Dec 11.

The former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra also feels that India needs to have Rohit Sharma in the team if they have to make big scores. In a video which he uploaded on his YouTube channel, the former Indian cricketer said that if Rohit Sharma was there, the Indian team would have played in a bolder manner but his absence is a huge loss. He further adds that if India needs to make scores bigger than 350, they definitely need Rohit Sharma, especially when they have to chase the target.

Aakash Chopra is of the opinion that the management is not utilizing the young cricketer KL Rahul properly as sending him at number 5 is a waste of his talent. As per Aakash, Rahul should be sent for opening the innings with Shikhar Dhawan which will help Rahul in playing his own natural game. The KXIP skipper failed to make any impact in the first ODI as he was out for 12 but in the second ODI, he managed to score 76 runs, however it went in vain as Australia won the match.

Do you also feel that KL Rahul should be made to open the innings? What are your views on Aakash Chopra’s statements with regard to Rohit Sharma?

“Aapki Aukaat Nahi Hoti,” Sara Ali Khan Speaks On Getting Lesser Screen Time Than Actors

Sara Ali Khan, the beautiful actress, is all set for the release of her next movie “Coolie No.1” in which she is working with actor Varun Dhawan. The flick is going to release on Christmas 2020 on the digital platform Amazon Prime Video and not in cinema halls. The director of the film is David Dhawan who also directed the original superhit “Coolie No.1” which was released in 1995 and starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles. Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer is a remake of the same and only the time will tell whether audiences will love the new version or slam it.

During the promotions, Sara was asked about her experience of working in the comedy movies along with the screen presence that the actresses get in comparison to the actors. In her response, the “Kedarnath” actress says that she is in no mood to compete with her co-actors, adding that a person like her is not in a position to talk (aapki aukaat nahin hoti) about the screen time when she gets to work with actors like Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and directors like Rohit Shetty and David Dhawan. Sara further states that screen time is not of much importance because people like them teach and encourage you a lot and you entertain people, narrate them a story and it really doesn’t matter who made them laugh more.

As per Sara, “Simmba” is as much as her movie as it is of Ranveer and the same goes for “Coolie No.1”. The collective energy of the actors makes a good film and it can certainly be felt by those who watch it on the screen.

“Coolie No.1” also stars Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey, Johnny Lever and Rajpal Yadav in important roles and its trailer was released lately.

Have you watched the trailer of the flick? If yes, how did you find it?

“If India Beats Australia Without Virat Kohli In Test, They Can Celebrate For A Year,” Michael Clarke

Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the best batsmen of the present era and he enjoys a huge fan following. He is admired not only by the Indian cricket lovers but the former cricketers of different nations as well. Michael Clarke, the former Australian cricketer, is also a great admirer of Virat Kohli and he feels that it will be very difficult for the Indian team to win the test series against Australia in Kohli’s absence.

Virat Kohli will be returning to India after the first test match as his wife Anushka Sharma is going to give birth to their first baby in the month of January and the Indian skipper wants to be with her on this special moment. Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the team in the absence of Virat Kohli and as far as Rohit Sharma is concerned, he won’t be a part of the team for the first two test matches and the decision on Hitman playing the last two matches will be taken after assessing his fitness in mid-December.

During an interview, Michael Clarke says that it is not possible to replace Virat Kohli completely as he plays two roles – one is of the captain and the other is of a batsman. Though he adds that he loves Ajinkya Rahane and likes his tactical style of captaincy which will be good for India, the big question is that who will bat in place of Virat Kohli. As per Clarke, the young Indian cricketer KL Rahul can be a good option for batting in place of Virat at number 4.

Michael Clarke feels that it will be almost an impossible task for the Indian team to win the test series against Australia without Virat Kohli but if they did win the series, it would one of the biggest victories and the Indians could celebrate for a year. He also adds that the young Indian cricketers should look at it like an opportunity and believe that they are capable of defeating the Australian team.

There is no denying the fact that it will be tough for the Indian team to defeat Australia in their home, especially in the absence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as the hosts have already shown their power by winning the 3-match ODI series.

Do you feel that India will win the test series in Australia? Let us know your views.
