Badshah, the rapper whose original name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, is celebrating his 35th birthday today (Nov 19) and it won’t be wrong to say that he is one of the most sought after singers of the present times. There is no denying the fact that Badshah has worked pretty hard to make his name in Bollywood. Quite obviously, it’s very important to sing good songs which are loved by public otherwise it doesn’t take much time for people to forget an artist.

Some time ago, Yo Yo Honey Singh was ruling the hearts of music lovers as his songs were getting loved but then the singer became liquor addict and also suffered from bipolar disorder. However, the good thing is that Honey Singh recovered not only from the disease but also from the addiction and made a comeback with his songs (“Chote Chote Peg” & “Dil Chori”) of the movie “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety”.

In 2017, Badshah gave an interview to a leading entertainment portal in which he talked about his competition with Honey Singh and we must say that Badshah gave a quite intelligent reply. As per Badshah, a person will definitely get what is written in his destiny and nobody has the power to take something which is destined to be his and vice-versa.

At that time, Badshah said that Honey Singh is not working due to his health and for other reasons but he is working and making songs at present and he will keep on doing it even when Honey Singh will be working actively. Badshah further wished Honey Singh to get well soon and come back to work.

That was certainly a great answer from Badshah who is married to Jasmine and is a father to a beautiful baby girl!

Bihar Education Minister Got Trolled Mercilessly For Singing Jana Gana Mana Incorrectly, Resigned

Nitish Kumar, the JD (U) leader, has become the chief minister of Bihar for the seventh time and with him, his 14 ministers also took the oath of serving the nation. However, soon a controversy erupted regarding the inclusion of Mewalal Choudhary in the cabinet as the opposition raised the matter of the corruption case which has been filed against him.

As a consequence, Mewala Choudhary who was appointed as the new Education Minister of the state had to resign just three days after he took the oath. What made the matter worse for Mewalal Choudhary was an old video in which he is seen singing the national anthem “Jana Gana Mana” incorrectly. The matter was posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter by the official Twitter handle of political party Rashtriya Janta Dal.

The video was captioned, “भ्रष्टाचार के अनेक मामलों के आरोपी बिहार के शिक्षा मंत्री मेवालाल चौधरी को राष्ट्रगान भी नहीं आता। नीतीश कुमार जी शर्म बची है क्या? अंतरात्मा कहाँ डुबा दी?”

It loosely translates to, “The Bihar education minister Mewalal Choudhary who is accused in many corruption cases doesn’t even know the national anthem of the country. Has any shame left in you, Nitish Kumar, where have you drowned your conscience?”

In the video, Mewalal Choudhary is heard singing, “Punjab Vasant Gujarat Maratha” while he should have sung, “Punjab Sindh Gujarat Maratha”. The video soon went viral and till the time this article was written, it was retweeted by more than 5k times and had been liked by over 19k people.

Mohammad Kaif Hits Out At The BCCI Selectors For Not Including Ravi Ashwin In T20I Squad

The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) lately announced the Indian squad for the Australian tour during the IPL 2020. While some called it a balanced squad, several others pointed fingers at the selection or omission of few players.

Now the former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif has taken a subtle dig at the BCCI for not including the Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in the team for shorter formats. R Ashwin is a part of the Indian test team but he last played for the country in the shorter format in 2017 against West Indies. After that, he was dropped from the team along with Ravindra Jadeja and since then, Ashwin has not been able to make a comeback in India’s ODI and T20 squad.

In the IPL 2020, Ashwin played for Delhi Capitals and performed in a pretty good manner for his team. Mohammed Kaif who has been employed as an assistant coach by the Delhi franchise took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and asked the BCCI to read and re-read the names of the big cricketers who were dismissed by Ashwin in the thirteenth season of the IPL which included the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle, David Warner, Jos Buttler, Steve Smith, etc. Kaif also added that he feels Ashwin can be a great asset for India in the shorter format.

This is what Kaif tweeted, “Virat, Rohit, Pollard, Gayle, Warner, QDK, Karun, Buttler, Smith, Paddikal, Pooran. Read and re-read @ashwinravi99’s list of big scalps from IPL 13, mostly in power plays. Feel Ash can still be a valuable asset for India in T20Is.”

One of the reasons of Ashwin’s exclusion from the T20 and ODI squad is the good performance of young spinners, such as Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. The Kulcha duo has emerged to be a dependable pair when it comes to trouble and dismiss even the in-form batsmen.

The Indian team will be playing 3 ODIs and the same number of T20Is against Australia along with four test matches but the Indian skipper Virat Kohli will play only the first test match as he will return for the birth of his first baby.

Cricketers & Twitter Have Hilarious Reactions Over Big Bash League’s New Rules

Cricket is undoubtedly one of the most popular sports of the world but the tournament organizers keep on adding some new features in order to make the game more interesting and thrilling for public and the players as well. Australia’s premier T20 tournament Big Bash League is going to start from December 10 and the organizers have came up with 3 new rules namely – Power Surge, X-Factor and Bash Boost.

Let us tell you about the new rules:

Power Surge:

Earlier there used to be traditional six over power play but this time, there will be a four over power play in the start of the innings and the teams can choose to have two over power play anytime in their innings after the 10th over. During the power play, the bowling side will be allowed to have only 2 players outside the inner ring of the field.

X-Factor:

The Super Sub is going to make a comeback in the game but this time with a twist. The teams will get a chance to sub one of their players from the playing XI but after half the innings get over. However, there is one more condition; the teams will be able to replace only that player who has not batted or who has not bowled more than one over.

Bash Boost:

There is a change in point system as well. Earlier the winning team used to get 2 points but from this season, the winning team will get three points. The teams will be able to get one more point if they perform better at the halfway mark in comparison to the other team. However if both the teams are on the same level at the halfway mark, both the teams will get 0.5 point each.

Cricket lovers and even people from the cricket fraternity are not impressed with the new rules and have started making fun of them. While some feel that these rules are ridiculous, several others have suggested opting for online voting in case of a run-out. Here are some selected reactions:

Indian Twitterati Has Funniest Take On COVID Vaccines That Are 90-95% Effective, “5% Kahan Hai?”

The coronavirus pandemic has affected our lives in a pretty adverse manner as more than 1.34 million people have lost their lives worldwide. Even the developed nations have crumbled in front of the pandemic as their economies got hit badly. The schools, colleges, shopping complexes, businesses, etc. were closed down in the month of March in order to save people by reducing the spread of lethal coronavirus. However, it is also true that we can’t live in this situation forever and the governments of various countries started unlocking their country in a slow manner.

The Indian government also imposed lockdown in the month of March but now the country is in the unlock phase and the bad news is that there is a surge in the number of coronavirus positive cases in some states. The reason behind this increase is that people have not been following the safety measures in a proper manner and they were in no mood to stay at home during the festive season.

There is no denying the fact that the most effective way to counter COVID-19 will be the much-awaited vaccine.
